Between all the ongoings of a regular day, a lot of news is seen. Much of it can be deemed authentic but a huge chunk of it can be credited as fake. In recent news, the Indian media has been embarrassed and called out for reporting fake news. This news is related to what they had been saying about the Pakistan Air Force attack on Afghanistan. Due to this news, the Pakistan Air Force had to endure quite a lot of bad remarks and hate from many people. However, now it seems that the Indian media has been exposed and the news they reported has been deemed fake.

Pakistan and India have had heated relations since the start. While they do die down occasionally, there is always something that sparks them right back up. The Kashmir dispute is something that has been going on for quite a long while. So, deeming the Indian Media news fake makes us think about what else they are reporting. Indian Media In Regards To Pakistan

It seems that they had been talking about an alleged attack on Afghanistan’s Panjshir valley. According to their sources, F-16 fighter plans had launched an offensive in the region. Due to that, the PAF received quite a lot of backlash and even the international world had started to view Pakistan in another light. However, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudry, recently shared a video from his Twitter handle.

In that video, as you will see, a host from a French Tv show exposes the authenticity of the news that Indian Media reported. It seems that all they had been saying about Pakistan and the Panjshir, was completely and utterly fake. Not only this but India’s ‘Times Now’, ‘Bharat Now’ and ‘Zee India’ also supported this false news. The host of the show clarified that Indian media had certainly spread fake news, which brings their entire media authenticity into question. The French Program ‘Truth or fake’ has certainly helped a lot in restoring the credibility of Pakistan in the international world. What we see on Indian media is just another of one of many attempts to try and falsely sway public opinion about Pakistan. The truth comes out, one way or another. 1. Why 001 chose to end the game

We are really hoping that we didn’t ruin Netflix’s top show for you. But remember that the old man, Oh Il Nam, turned out to be the organizer didn’t he? Remember, when after the first game, there was a coup and people wanted to return? The old man chose to stop. Now, one can wonder, why as an organizer, he would do that. He did that out of fairness. Throughout the show, the organizers kept saying the game existed to give everyone a fair chance.

Had Oh Il Nam made the choice of continuing, he would basically be forcing 200 people to do what he (the organizer) wanted.

2. Death by jumping

Some of the primary players died in a very distinct way, their deaths were impactful. But did you know that their ends were predicted? No? Let’s see.

Do you remember the tough gangster? He jumped from the bridge before reentering the game. He died in the fifth game by falling from a height.

3. Throat slitting

Similarly, our beloved North Korea defector, Sae Byeok died horribly. Although most of us were rooting for her to win, she got her throat slit. If you would recall, when they were let out of the game for a short time, she met with a guy and threatened to slit his throat.

4. Stealing

Ali Abdul, the Pakistani (even though his name doesn’t make sense, might I add) ran away after stealing someone’s money when he got out of the game. He died when someone stole his belonging.

5. Hints about the old man

If you closely followed Squid Game, Oh Il Nam’s dialogues were enough to make you suspicious. However, there were some major hints at the end of Game 4. When they were playing the pebbles game, the gunman did not shoot him right away as soon as there was an indication that the old man had lost. Plus, when he was actually allegedly shot, there were no blood splatters. And as loyal Squid Game fans, we are witness to how generous the creators were with the blood splatters.

6. The tracksuit

Well, the tracksuit, it seems is the ace of Netflix. When they use tracksuits, it becomes a hit. In Money Heist, they had red suits. The seasons became a global success. The Squid Game also features red and green tracksuits, and it has become a global success.

Premier Motors Soon To Begin Assembling Volkswagen & Skoda In Pakistan

The crossover SUVs and premium cars are all the hype these days. In such an installment, German auto giant, Volkswagen Group, will be assembling Volkswagen and Škoda crossovers and SUVs right here in Pakistan. It was announced that Premier Motors Limited, located in Balochistan will be the CKD (completely-knocked-down) assembly partner for the venture.

Given the track record of Volkwagen, when it comes to emphasis on product quality, Premier Motors being chosen, speaks volumes about its top-notch, fully updated power plant. The plant’s construction began at Hub in July this year. Its construction is expected to finish soon and begin operating. The capacity is locked at 30,000 vehicles yearly. In fact, the premium Volkswagen and Skoda vehicles assembled at Hub will start hitting the road halfway into the year 2023.

This venture of Premier Motors Limited is not in a vacuum. Its parent company, Premier Systems (Private) is already quite a stalwart in the auto industry. In fact, it is the sole importer of Audi AG in Pakistan and authorized importer of Audi Cars in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

This news comes in line with the Prime Minister’s initiative to encourage international giants abroad to come to Pakistan. In the past few years, we have seen quite some advancements when it comes to the automobile and technology industries. We have seen KIA’s production plant with a capacity of 50,000 vehicles per annum. And we are also privy to the information of Samsung Electronics to begin manufacturing TV in Karachi.

Green chili is a versatile vegetable, without which, no dish, especially a desi ones, is complete. You might have heard of a lot about different renditions of green chili; from peri bites to chili pakora and much more. Thanks to human curiosity and kitchen adventurers, there are so many dishes we can come up with. One such adventurer tried to make stuffed Maggi mirch, and the internet was divided at the sight.

Maggi lovers have no chill. You can either love it or hate it, there is no in-between. It is because of that we have come across some extreme renditions of maggi, such as Maggi falooda, Maggi pizza, Maggi ladoo, Maggi Pani puri, and last but not the least, Maggi ice cream.

Someone took to their Twitter account to share their innovation with the world. The green chilies were cut half in the middle and are filled with cooked Maggi noodles. The first look at the picture had us dreading the idea. However, this must be exciting for people who are used to eating raw chilies with their food. Karachi Monuments Illuminated To Celebrate World Heart Day

Karachi, Sept 29: The Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC), and NICVD, the country’s leading institute for cardiovascular diseases, partnered with leading pharma company Ferozsons Laboratories Limited to light up Karachi, the city of lights, in red to celebrate World Heart Day.

To raise awareness and promote heart-healthy activities, Karachi’s iconic landmarks were lit red in support of World Heart Day to signify that the citizens of Karachi and the nation stand with the medical fraternity to reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases in Pakistan. The landmarks being illuminated included NICVD, Frere Hall, KMC Tower, and Ayesha Manzil.

The celebrations started on the night of September 29, when NICVD was illuminated in the presence of leading cardiologists of NICVD. The lighting of the institution was meant to honor the endless sacrifices of the medical community and cardiac professionals who continue to work tirelessly, putting themselves in harm’s way through the pandemic to combat cardiovascular diseases.

Barrister Mr. Murtaza Wahab, Administrator of Karachi, led a heart-health walk within the NICVD, where a joint press conference with the leadership of the Institute was conducted to create awareness about heart-healthy activities that the public can take to prevent heart disease.

To mark the event, Barrister Mr. Murtaza. Wahab said “We want to thank our healthcare heroes for their extraordinary care for patients even during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cardiologists and medical professionals from all fields won the hearts of the nation by putting patients first, despite personal dangers posed to them by the virus. This is an act of bravery and heroism, and this campaign is our small way of thanking our heroes and contributing towards their awareness efforts against heart disease, the country’s deadliest silent killer.”

On the occasion, Executive Director of NICVD Professor Nadeem Qamar said “World heart day every year reminds us of our individual and collective responsibility toward protecting our, our families and our nation’s heart health. Every one of us has a role to play starting from an individual adopting healthy life style. Every role, however small it may seem is an important contributor to our collective response to this rapidly growing epidemic. NICVD being a premier health care institution is well aware of its responsibilities towards cardiac health care at provincial and national level. NICVD stands for state of art cardiac care for all and its services encompass comprehensive multifaceted approach to prevention and treatment of diseases of heart and blood vessels”.

Ehsaas U-Grad Portal Reopens For More Than 50,000 Scholarships

Education should be a top priority for any country to maintain. Despite there being a pandemic, life has flourished online and students are still receiving education. Of course, some things cannot be taught unless practical so students must wait for that. However, anything that can be taught online, is being taught online. In similar news, the Ehsaas Undergraduate Portal has been reopened! It seems that the Government of Pakistan has announced about 50,000 new scholarships!

Yes, these scholarships are intended for the undergraduate domain and students are encouraged to send in the applications. It is always a moment of content when we see the government itself giving out scholarships. It shows that the country is willing to make progress in education. Any country willing to do that is sure to go down as a successful one in history. However, the road is long and hard so persistence is needed.

Ehsaas Portal Reopened

For the academic year 2021-2022, Ehsaas has reopened its U-Grad portal. They intend to receive fresh applications so that it may be seen who qualifies for the scholarships. The scholarship portal will accept applications till November 30th, 2021. Newly admitted students of the fall 2021 session are eligible to apply from any of the 135 HEC recognized public sector universities. One of the conditions for eligibility of application is if the family income is less than Rs.45,000/-

Eligible students can apply through https://ehsaas.hec. gov.pk/. Students who are submitting the applications will have to specify which universities they are applying for. The geographical spread of the program itself extends to all four provinces, as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan. Also, it must be noted that fifty percent of the scholarships are reserved for females.

Education Enhancement

According to further details, the scholarships include a 100% tuition fee as well as a monthly stipend of Rs.4000/-. As part of the entire Ehsaas framework, around 200,000 scholarships will be awarded under the programme in four years. That shows how much dedication the programme authorities have in educating the students. It gives hope to many who wish to exceed and pursue further education but cannot due to financial constraints.

The programme also promotes diversity as everyone can apply for it if they are eligible. Special assistant to P.M on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Senator Dr Sania Nishtar, said,

“In line with rule-based Ehsaas procedures, undergraduate scholarships will be awarded strictly on merit-cum-need basis to benefit bright students from low-income backgrounds”

Breast cancer is the most commonly found cancer amongst women too. However, the good news is that an invasive form’s survival rate is also up to 99%. Here are ways in which you can detect early!

1. Mammogram Technology

Mammogram technology is a new and improved technology that can study breasts. It can notice changes in the tissues of breasts and identify if anything developing is abnormal.

Mammograms are also so incredible that they can detect breast cancer 2 years before a doctor can physically detect it.

2. Physical Signs To Look Out For

It is recommended that women regularly keep observing and feeling their breasts to grasp the signs earlier on. Signs usually involve a lump found in the breast or armpit. There can be swelling or thickening of parts of the breast.

Moreover, there can be dimpling or retraction of breast skin or nipples. Lastly, if there are any changes in breast or pain or noticeable inflammation in any area of the breast, go to your doctor as soon as possible.

CSS Results 2021: Here Is The Final List Of Successful Applicants

CSS Competitive Examination, the roadway to enter the bureaucratic circle of Pakistan is by far the most difficult (and competitive) exam in Pakistan. Every year, only a minimal percentage is able to clear the test. This year was no different. FPSC (Federal Public Service Commission) has just announced the CSS results 2021 and only 2.11%, made it.

39,650 Pakistanis applied for the exams and 17,240 chose to appear in the test. However, only 364 people cleared it.

The wedding entrance and Rukhsati trends are not new. In the beginning, it used to be the bride and groom entering on a bicycle or a car. Later on, we even got to see custom-made boats. However, the cherry on top was the helicopter Rukhsati, which we witnessed on a few occasions.

This week another video of a Helicopter Rukhsati is going viral. But let’s be more embracing of other people. Like every major event, there is going to be an opening ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai as well. Yes, it is going to be full of adrenaline-filled performances and shows just for the public. Do you remember how the Olympics opening ceremonies are? Expo 2020 is going to be no less than that, if not more in some aspects so hold on to your hats! The ceremony is going to take place on September 30th and is going to be live-streamed across more than 400 locations, 430 to be exact!

The 430 locations of live streaming are going to be spread all across the UAE. This way, people can view the spectacle in all its might, no matter where they are in the country. Additionally, there are going to be massive fireworks on October 1st, to mark the first day of the Expo. Yes, October 1st is when the fun really starts to kick in! This is going to be the largest global event held since the pandemic first began so don’t forget to keep track!

Pepsi dropped two tracks of ‘Why Not Meri Jaan’ and both these tracks had rap artists performing on it. There is certainly some effort from Pepsi to promote Rap music in the music industry, specifically Urdu rap. Using talented artists like Rap Demon whose lyrics are incisive as well as insightful, certainly pushes rap music into the limelight more.

Introducing Rap music to the local music industry will show how progressive and diverse Pakistani music is. Rap music with itself brings soul, meaning, and culture to the table, and with its inclusion in mainstream media; it will definitely strengthen Pakistani music as a whole.

Rap music is very much frowned upon by people because of its unorthodox way of expression, but it’s more than that. The taboo around it by people of conventional mindset who do not embrace change is a stigma that Pepsi is trying to breakthrough.

Dark mode in devices and applications has become quite a common thing now. Back when we had just one light theme, everything was available in it. However, slowly, each of the applications on our phones introduced the dark theme. Not only is it soothing for the eyes and causes less strain, but it also saves battery on AMOLED displays. Despite there being a light theme available, a huge chunk of the public prefers the dark mode. Now, we shall look at the Chrome dark mode for Android and iOS devices.

Before we get into the steps, it must be noted that you need to have Android 5 and higher to use this feature. Once that has been confirmed, simply follow these steps.

Open Chrome from your Android phone
Tap the three-dot menu from the top right corner
Select Settings, then select themes
After tapping on Dark, you will be able to experience the full width of this mode.

It must be noted that you can always follow the same steps and switch to the light theme. However, we must ask: Do you really want to switch back to the light? The dark is so much more pleasant!

Dark Mode On iOS

Just like android, a person can enable this mode on their apple products. There are a few simple steps to follow to make sure this is enabled. However, we must inform you that your device must be running iOS 13 if you intend to use dark mode on Google Chrome.

Head to the settings of your iPhone
Select Brightness settings
Set theme to ‘Dark’
Now, the system-wide dark theme will be carried over to Chrome and you can have fun with it.

iOS devices like the iPad also enable this feature on default if a person selects system-wide dark mode from device settings.
