17 September 2021, Lahore: Standard Chartered Bank has donated PKR 23.29 million to Mayo Hospital Lahore through Sightsavers International.
Through this amount, Mayo hospital will purchase 24 cardiac monitors and 25 high-flow nasal canulas. As most of the patients being admitted during the fourth wave are at critical stages, there is a need for this equipment which will help Mayo hospital manage critical COVID-19 patients being admitted in ICUs and High Dependency Units (HDU).
Right from the onset of COVID-19, Standard Chartered Pakistan has played a critical role in raising awareness and supporting communities in need through this challenging period. Supporting communities – in good times and bad – is a core part of Standard Chartered and brings to life the Bank’s brand promise of being Here for good.
In Pakistan, Standard Chartered has contributed USD1 million to Red Cross and UNICEF programmes that are providing emergency relief to communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, the Bank contributed USD300,000 to the Red Cross for the provision of urgent medical support and USD700,000 to UNICEF for the immediate protection and education of vulnerable children in Pakistan.
The Bank also provided PKR19.7Mn to support communities in need in Pakistan. The Bank enabled the set-up of modular HDU units and free testing as well as provided rations to underserved communities and PPEs to our doctors and nurses.
Commenting on the ceremony, Farah Asim, Head of Communications, Standard Chartered Bank said “Standard Chartered is proud to reach the most vulnerable people in our communities through the work being done by Mayo Hospital, whereby we are able to support the delivery of relief that aims to address some of the key challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have donated at a time when the third wave of Covid 19 is at its peak and I am sure this equipment will help patients at the time of need.”
Dr. Asad Aslam, National Coordinator for the Prevention and control of Blindness Program under Federal Ministry of Health said, “Standard chartered has played an instrumental role for prevention and control of blindness in Pakistan through their “Seeing is Believing” program in last two decades. They have invested more than 5 million USD in different areas of eye health including training of eye health professionals at various levels, and supporting service delivery and infrastructure development of numerous eye health institutions nationwide. Last year they supported government of punjab, Baluchistan, AJK, and KPK for provision of PPE kits for frontline health staff by donating around 6 million pkr. Once again they are now supporting Punjab government for support of equipment for the critically ill covid patients in high dependency units of Mayo hospital Lahore. We have been receiving this support through our credible partner Sightsavers who are playing the role of a catalyst and connector for getting this generous support from Standard Chartered.”
Pakistanis and cricket lovers all over the world were genuinely excited for the soon to be held Pak Vs NZ cricket matches. However, in recent news, we saw that New Zealand called off Pakistan tour. The country has said that this is because of the rising threat levels in Pakistan.
In the statement, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that New Zealand was apparently alerted of the threat in Pakistan and they single-mindedly decided to cancel the tour. PCB goes on further to say that foolproof plans were made for the security of the guest team.
Moreover, PM Imran had personally called the Prime Minister of New Zealand to tell her that we have the best intelligence system in Pakistan so they need not worry. What’s more is that earlier, the New Zealand officials had expressed satisfaction with the security plans as well.

PCB also took this statement to Twitter.
We have assured the NZ cricket board of the same. The Prime Minister spoke personally to the Prime Minister of New Zealand and informed her that we have one of the best Intelligence systems in the world and that no security threat of any kind exists for the visiting team. 2/4
PCB is willing to continue the scheduled matches. However, cricket lovers in Pakistan and around the world will be disappointed by this last minute withdrawal. 4/4
Daniel Alexander, the Srilankan cricket analyst, took to Twitter to take a jab at New Zealand for their decision. He said: “Sri Lanka played all 3 formats in Pakistan. South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh & Zimbabwe played in Pakistan. Many Int’l cricketers played for World XI & PSL in Pakistan, including New Zealand cricketers. All these were possible only because Pakistan [is] safe for cricket.”

Renowned Rawalpindi Express, the former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar made an angry tweet as well following the withdrawal of the New Zealand team. He said that by using the excuse of security, they have killed Pakistan cricket.
While the iPhone 13 announced by Apple this week is pretty feature-packed, some of the rumoured features we heard about in the build-up to the phones’ debut didn’t come to pass. A few useful features that Apple’s phones lack compared to Android competitors, such as Samsung’s Galaxy S21.
iPhone 13 failed to incorporate some of the fundamental features, including a notch-free design and a fingerprint sensor built into the display. These features aren’t new either and have been available on some Android phones for years.
Here are some of the features which are missing in the iPhone 13.
1. Fingerprint Sensor In Screen
Samsung has built fingerprint scanners into the displays of its Galaxy S phones, the Galaxy S10, which launched in 2019. A fingerprint reader is also integrated into the screens of the OnePlus nine and OnePlus 9 Pro. However, the iPhone is still way behind with the technology. The latest iPhone 13 also lacks the same feature. Even though the face ID can work just fine, wearing a mask at all times has made the feature irrelevant since it can not recognise the mask.
USB-C is the established charging standard on Android devices, and can be used for Samsung, OnePlus, Google, or Motorola regardless of where you buy it. These included USB-C cables are much more helpful than those on the iPhone because you can use them with other devices and accessories as well. However, the case is not the same with iPhone 13 as it doesn’t offer the same USB-C. As it’s the charging standard for Apple’s iPad Air, iPad Pro, MacBook laptops, and the brand new iPad mini, people are hoping for Apple to resolve the issue once and for all.
3. Notch Free Design
Many Android device manufacturers have designed a screen with camera cutouts that are barely visible so that the phone feels more like a seamless sheet of glass. Some of them are Samsung’s Galaxy S21 smartphones, Google’s Pixel 5a, and the OnePlus 9. However, iPhone has failed to switch to a notch-free design, and even though iPhone 13 offers a smaller one, it is still there on the scene.
4. Always On Display
Many manufacturers, including Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi, have all released phones with always-on displays. This is one of the most basic and efficient tools on android devices. However, iPhone 13 doesn’t feature the same and displays information such as the time and calendar events.
Android phones, including Samsung’s Galaxy S21, Google’s Pixel 5, and older Galaxy phones like the S20 and S10, offer a solution when you have forgotten to charge your device. Samsung calls it Wireless Power Share, and Google calls it Battery Share, but they do essentially the same thing. The backs of these devices can serve as wireless charging pads for products compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard found on most modern phones and accessories.

The Apple event didn’t share any similar feature, so it is unlikely that we would come across this soon enough.

Is our favourite gaming console coming up with a new controller with state-of-the-art functions? Nintendo has kept its legacy alive in gaming through continuous research and development. Reports suggest that there is a new controller in the making which will be on the wishlist of every gamer. Find out more about it here!
The New Controller Rumours
Nintendo may have a new wireless controller in development based on a report. It is rumoured that the new device has the model number HAC-043. This matters because it shows that it is going to be one model number higher than Nintendo’s wireless SNES controller from 2019. These wireless controllers were already top-notch, can we imagine something better?

Nintendo Is Keeping It A Secret
Nintendo doesn’t want people to find out. As a result, it has submitted a 180-day request for confidentiality to the authorities which will hide all details of the new controllers. Details like photos and actual schematics will thus be legally hidden. However, there are still some things that you can know.
For starters, the device will also be wireless and use Bluetooth as its mode of operation. We can also imagine what the device will look like from how the FCC label will be placed on it. Through that, it is speculated that the device will definitely be different from the single label that Joy-Con uses.

Some believe that Nintendo might revolutionalise an old design into a new one for this latest release. Gamers are also excited while wondering if Nintendo can finally make a wireless N64 or GameCube controller for retro gaming. It is also possible that this mysterious controller will be a version of the new Pro Controller such as the OLED Nintendo Switch releasing in October. Nintendo has refused to share any information on this new controller and has not addressed rumours of developing better versions of Joy-con controllers.
Gaming fans have learnt one thing: Nintendo should never be underestimated. The company always treads on the unexpected. Just now, it randomly introduced Bluetooth audio support to the Switch via a software update this week. Fans had been asking for it for years and all it took them was a week but it came when they wanted it to.

Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is currently in Tajikistan. He is attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State 2021 alongside representatives of 67 companies from various industries. These industries ranged from Mineral and Pharmaceuticals to Textile and Logistics. In this high-class business forum, PM Imran called out a man for reciting poetry.
Being objective in our coverage, we should definitely mention that the poetry in question was not comic or romantic poetry. For the longest time, many revolutionaries have emerged as poets, or have we forgotten Allam Iqbal and Faiz Ahmed Faiz?
The poetry in question started as follows:
kuch apne dil pe bhi zakhm khao mere lahu ki bahar kb tk
mjhe sahara banane waloN main larkharaya to kia karo ge Itne zaalim na bano
kuch toh murawwat seekho
Accompanied with this statement, the Pakistani had said, “I have a verse for you, Imran Bhai, this is for you. You have become a prisoner. You used to be so great when you were on the container.”
Hence, it is pretty clear that the poetry was a political critique of the PM. Of course, this Pakistani man could have relayed his point in the home country and not at an international forum.
And as a leader of a nation, no matter where you get called out by your citizens, it is your responsibility to give them appropriate respect. Otherwise, how can you expect others to respect ordinary Pakistanis? Finding that the poetry was going to be a criticism, the man’s speech was cut off, and PM Imran interrupted, saying that today’s questions and answers should be limited to business questions and not poetry. He further added that they could figure out another time and date for the art.
The forum was attended by more than 150 companies of Tajikistan and was held to attract foreign investments. Pakistan Television was providing the forum live coverage. The PM said in his address that they were creative incentives for foreign investors in Pakistan.
In convincing the business community of Tajikistan, PM Imran said that the country has a 220 million population. He also noted that the current trade between the two countries was far below the true potential. Inviting potential investors to Pakistan, he said that they should definitely look at the incentives the current government has created.

Sanam Chaudhry announced a while ago that she is turning to Allah with all her heart. The actor’s change of heart made all the headlines but now she’s in the news for something else. Do we really have to ‘auction’ things in order to do charity? We’re not sure the actress is onto something agreeable.
Sanam Chaudhry’s Latest Endeavour
The former actress recently announced on her Instagram stories that she is selling her Nikkah jewellery. The jewellery is artificial and was worn by herself at her event— she also shared the pictures! Chaudhry says she is selling them or rather auctioning them to the ‘highest bidder’. This is being done in order to “feed the poor”. This is her announcement:
It is refreshing to see people opt for artificial jewellery also for their big days. If one can not afford the exorbitant rates of ‘real jewellery’ it should not mean that they don’t fulfil their hearts wishes. However, to auction something that one gets at such affordable rates at such high prices is unacceptable. She has set the starting bid of Rs.15000 on her set which in the market can be bought for less than1/3rd of this.
Is it okay to rip someone off just to feed the poor? Our religion says that you should do charity to the extent that you can afford to. You should not be selling things just to do charity— though the end goal is commendable, the means, not really.
How Can We Vet The Charity?
If Sanam Chaudhry really wants to do a huge round of charity then she can start fundraising which is another thing altogether. She can inform her audience that this is the purpose, show the benefactors and then whoever donates, donates. In this case, someone may jump to the opportunity to get jewellery worn by their favourite actress. However, there is no way of vetting whether it will actually be used for feeding the poor or not.

Decluttering one’s wardrobe of things they do not need is a great initiative. However, only as long as the things are being sold at reasonable prices. To ‘auction’ something for 3 times its original value seems unreasonable and shady at best. We hope the actress can consider this before this becomes an unhealthy trend in our society. Kudos to her for having good intentions, though, we wish she could be more mindful of the means.
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has kept numerous Pakistanis, skeptics and supporters alike, glued to their seats. The skeptics waiting for something to go wrong while supporters hope the skeptics are wrong and most problems of the country would solve. The phenomenon of CPEC even became a household topic but where has it reached in all these years? A meeting was held to discuss the status update and was chaired by Saleem Mandviwalla.
An update on CPEC
According to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CPEC Affairs Khalid Mansoor, 21 projects are already complete. These were worth $15.2 billion. There are 21 more projects that are under implementation, they are worth $9.3 billion. Moreover, the authorities are considering 36 projects that are going to cost $28 billion.

Further, Asad Umar confirmed that the Karachi Chaman N-25 road stands approved. Breaking its funding down, he said that PSDP will find the Khuzdar-Kuchlak section of the road. The rest of the road will be constructed on the basis of Built Operate Transfer (BOT).
He also mentioned that the present government intends to complete these projects on BOT and decide on the road tariff instead of letting the private sector take care of it.
Intention regarding resource use
Regarding the 36 projects that are being considered, Senator Shafiq Tareen has said that coal is a potential resource. He suggested that the coal can be used for the purpose of the project developments. However, the point was shot down by the SAPM on CPEC affairs who said that Balochistan coal is useless for power generation given its sulfur proportion.

China on CPEC
The chairman of the meeting shared that the Chinese were not happy with the current progress of Pakistan for this corridor. He said that the Chinese want the removal of bottlenecks which he delegated to Khalid Mansoor. The emphasis was on the bottlenecks in the project of ML-1 up-gradation and completing hydropower projects.
Khalid Mansoor said, “I will take responsibility for the implementation of the projects and I will go personally to all the concerned ministries and divisions to implement the CPEC projects.”
The projects in Gwadar were also discussed. According to Asad Umar, they included technical training institutes, desalination plants, Eastbay Expressway among others. Moreover, PKR 560 billion has been set aside for the development of Southern Balochistan. The funding will lead to the construction of IT parks, power plants, industrial zones, road projects, and dams.

Apple has certainly been making dents in the tech world. They revealed quite a few things with their event that took place recently. One cannot imagine an event with Apple that does not become the highlight of the year. The company executes its performances quite well. People want to keep coming back for more and they do so every year. Despite the pandemic and the world shifting more towards online, Apple still managed to gather a massive audience. Among the many unveiled products was the Apple Watch Series 7.
It was released between the iPhone 13 and the iPad upgrades. The smartwatch itself seems to have quite a lot of cool new features, including a bigger display. It has the ability to communicate with the user just as well as the smartphone. You don’t have to keep whipping the phone out of your pocket every now and then. Simply, hold up your wrist and ravage through the many features that the Apple Watch Series 7 offers.
Apple Watch Worth It
Among the upgrades that the series 7 saw, one of them was a larger and sturdier display. Instead of 41mm, it is now set at 45mm, alongside the ability to display a full keyboard. This does make it easier to type but also makes the dial look bigger on one’s hand. On the other hand, the design upgrade is similar to the iPhone 12 and 13 changes, with better curves and edges.
Now, if you look at the Series 6 watch, it is still a highly impressive device. There is no doubt that Apple went a long distance with the series 6. Not only does it offer everything you could want in a smartwatch, it offers a bit more too. Additionally, the Series 6 has been going out on discounts for a while now too. You can buy one between $310 to $340 depending on what kind of upgrades you want. However, with the series 7, you’ll have to wait and get the $399 starting price one.
To Buy Or Not To Buy
Unless you do wish to go for a bigger display, we recommend buying a more affordable option. We are still not sure whether Apple is going to use new software inside the watch or just the same as the Series 6. If the latter is the case, then there is virtually not a lot of a difference between the two and you can skip the wait.
From a distance, people will not be able to tell a difference. So, buying the series 7 or Apple Watch Series 6 is all a matter of personal preference. If you think that an extra bigger and stronger display is worth the wait and price increase, you should wait. Otherwise, go for the currently existing ones.
Facebook’s internal research into Instagram has raised serious concerns. The study shows the popular photo-sharing app’s impact on teens’ mental health. The US lawmakers are pressing the company to release more data about the research. The company staff has been studying the result of the application in its younger users since 2019. However, the results have been kept secret until now.
Impact Of Instagram On Mental Health
One internal Facebook presentation said that among teens who reported suicidal thoughts, 13% of British users and 6% of American users traced the issue to Instagram.
“Thirty-two percent of teen girls said that when they felt bad about their bodies. Adding that Instagram has made them feel worse,” researchers wrote.
The practice of editing photos contributes to “a generation of young people with poor body image and body confidence,” the authors explained.
Adding, “Teens blame Instagram for increases in the rate of anxiety and depression. This reaction was spontaneous and consistent across all groups.”
More than 40% of Instagram’s users are 22 years old and younger. About 22 million teens log onto Instagram in the U.S. each day compared to five million teens logging onto Facebook, where young users have been shrinking for a decade, materials show.
“Instagram is well-positioned to resonate and win with young people,” said a researcher’s slide posted internally. Another post said:
“There is a path to growth if Instagram can continue their trajectory.”
The Company’s Stance
In May, Instagram head Adam Mosseri talked to the reporters. He mentions that research suggests the app’s effects on teen well-being are likely relatively small.
“In no way do I mean to diminish these issues. Some of the issues mentioned in this story aren’t necessarily widespread, but their impact on people may be huge.”
According to him, Facebook didn’t realize the result of connecting people in such large numbers. “I’ve been pushing very hard for us to embrace our responsibilities more broadly,” he said.
In response to a question asked about children and mental health at a congressional hearing in March 2021, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said;
“The research that we’ve seen is that using social apps to connect with other people can have positive mental health benefits.”
Meanwhile, marketing and product design executives and data scientists at Facebook concluded that social comparison is mainly limited to Instagram.
“Aspects of Instagram exacerbate each other to create a perfect storm,” said one report. “It then pressures to share only the best moments and to look perfect could pitch teenagers into depression, low self-esteem, and eating disorders.”

Apart from that, the screen on the new phone seems quite impressive, in the select reviews that we have seen. So, what is all this news about potato chips? Is anyone selling them for free? Can we have some?

Google Pixel Chips
Due to the upcoming release, a lot of promotion for the smartphone is underway. Despite there still being a pandemic, the company has not slowed down in its attempts to make sure the word reaches the public. In their most recent attempt at promotion, the company had released Google Pixel 6 potato chips in Japan. It was done briefly but it seems quite ingenious.
They even released a whole commercial that shows the chips. The design of the potato chips packet has been done to resemble the design of the phone. This has been done with similar colours and a general outlook. In the commercial, the people are even seen using the potato chips bag as a phone, putting it on charge, or listening to calls on it! It is certainly an innovative way to get the word of mouth going.
Going Innovative
Google Japan launched about 10,000 units of these potato chips when the promotion first began. The bags were quickly claimed by fans of either Google Pixel phones or fans of potato chips. Maybe you are both! Now that this has been done, maybe it’s time for some Pixel burger or Pixel pizza, eh Google?
This is sure to increase the hype already surrounding the smartphone as well as get the word out to the public about a new release. We are sure that old fans are going to go for the phone and this kind of promotion can create a whole lot of new fans!
Are you still mesmerized by iPhone 13 series and shocked at its prices? Well, get out of it because we have more interesting news about yet another tech giant; the tech giant that became the biggest smartphone vendor globally, Xiaomi. Europe was recently introduced to Xiaomi 11T Pro and it is sure to speech bound you.
The tech giant launched the 11T series and while the entire line is amazing, what caught our eyes was 11T Pro. Why? Because Xiaomi 11T Pro can fully charge in just 17 minutes! Imagine having a high-quality phone and that too with a 5,000 mAh battery and seeing it charge within minutes. The system that supports such quick charging is something that was already announced earlier, the 120W HyperCharge fast-charging system in the bundled charger.
While you only need 17 minutes but if you are getting late and do not have much time to spare, you need not worry, the phone can charge for about 72% in 10 minutes.
Can the 120W charger destroy the battery?
People were worried about whether the charger can destroy the battery by quick charging. Hence, in an interview, Daniel Desjarlais, international head of communications and global spokesperson at Xiaomi said that it won’t. He said, “It’s like having two different inlets to fill the gas in your car and two separate tanks.”
11T Pro phone has a Snapdragon 888 processor. Its camera is 108-megapixels. Moreover, the 11T Pro has a 6.67-inch screen and a 120Hz 1080p OLED panel. It has 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. All of this will cost you €649 ($768). Of course, if you want to have 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, then the price will also increase to €749 ($886).
Alongside the 11T Pro, Xiaomi has two other phones in the lineup; 11T and 11Lite 5G NE. You will not find the 120W fats charging system in these phones. But the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra processor and 67W fast charging can fully charge 11T in 37 minutes. These two other phones are lesser in price as well. 11T can be bought for €499 ($590) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. You can double the storage with an additional €50. And if you were to for the 11 Lite 5G NE, it will cost you €369 ($437) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Faryal Mehmood recently uploaded a video of her letting loose to a song on her Instagram. Unfortunately, we can not hear the song thanks to ‘Instagram music not being available in our region’. However, the dance video screams fluidity, passion, and freedom even without the music. But it appears netizens find her dance videos a triggering point.
Faryal Mehmood’s Latest Dance Video
In her latest video on Instagram, the actress and model is letting loose to a song she couldn’t resist. She’s dressed in her casual attire, in shorts, a tank and a loose kimono— perfect for dancing. With the biggest smile on her face and moves that can set any stage on fire, the actress wore her heart on her sleeve while dancing. We wish we could have heard the song also! Regardless, Faryal Mehmood is definitely our inspiration for becoming fit and enjoying dancing as an art.
However, netizens are never supportive of such videos. Supportive is even asking for too much, they’re not even tolerant of such videos! Even though Faryal Mehmood’s dance is not going to harm them and their faith, she was still trolled like anything. From personal jibes to general ridicule, everything could be witnessed in her comments section. Here’s an insight into the trolling she was subjected to:
Faryal Mehmood moves as if she’s got air in her body rather than bones. The ease and passion with which she creates each move and spontaneous routine really show that she has a profound love for dancing. We can also deduce this much from the number of dance videos she posts generally! Have a look at some of her other ones and tell us we’re not wrong:
These dance videos are as controversial as it gets but in Faryal Mehmood’s case, there are many. The talented actress is also a lover of piercings and tattoos and recently ventured out to get a new tattoo. Or should we say multiple new tattoos? When she shared that on social media, all hell broke loose and trolls found their place in her comments.
The news also became really famous but did that stop Faryal Mehmood from getting her new tattoos? No, they didn’t! Just like these hate comments won’t stop her from dancing. Why ruin the moment to send someone hate? Simply keep swiping.
The truth about Mayo Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan, is coming to light and it is more than frightening. A hospital is a place where we rush to with our loved ones without any thought. However, after knowing all this, will we ever? Read more about Mayo Hospital’s reality.
Secret Torture Cell
It was revealed on social media that a secret torture cell was being operated in Mayo Hospital. This private torture cell was being run by the Janitorial Staff Supervisor, Zohaib. Apparently, his video of torturing patients/attendees went viral which then exposed this cell entirely.
According to the investigation so far, Zohaib was mainly targeting attendees of patients. He would observe the patients and attendees of Mayo Hospital and if any of them looked suspicious, he took them to the cell and tortured them. When the Medical Superintendent (MS) at Mayo Hospital, Dr. Iftikhar, became aware of this, he fired the three workers who were suspected to be involved. However, is firing them enough? These people should be publicly exposed and handed over to the police.
After this went viral, another video of abuse is making rounds on social media. The video has been made within Mayo Hospital. There is a line of attendees who are registering their details to stay with their family members who were patients. However, out of nowhere and for unknown reasons, the management of the hospital starts slapping them.
Patients & their families brutally assaulted by #Pakistani Hospital management in #Lahore.
The families wanted to stay overnight to take care of the patients in the family but received slaps and abuse from #MayoHospital management.pic.twitter.com/tdGF7X2NLD
Two men are being continuously slapped while being filmed and they are standing quietly. As a poor man, what can you even do? People can become afraid for the safety of their family members admitted to the hospital when the management acts like this.
Criminal Negligence All-Around
This is violence, corruption, and a breeding ground for serial killers. Zohaib, especially needs to be behind bars because he has exhibited a tendency to torture people for no reason. It also seems highly unlikely that no one from the management knew— how can that happen under one hospital’s roof? Moreover, even the MS should be found guilty for simply firing Zohaib rather than handing him to the police.
Such incidents are finally coming to light and this may encourage many more to speak up. Let’s see where the case goes for now although Mayo Hospital’s days of glory seem like they are coming to a close end.
Apple has certainly been making huge bounds in their domain. They are one of the highest names in the tech industry. The company has always been known for dramatic, impressive releases and events. You know it is Apple when the lights come on and you just cannot help but look. Just recently, the Apple iPhone 13 was launched alongside a few other products.
It seems that the iPhone 13 does have some similar things to its predecessor. However, there are considerable differences which may make you go for one and not the other. Now, the big question is, which one should a person buy? Let us dive into the details of this comparison.
iPhone 13 and 12 Comparison
Firstly, there is no difference between the screen sizes for both phones. For the sake of this comparison, we are looking at the mini and base variants of both smartphones. As in iPhone 12 mini and base, the screen size is set at 5.4-inches and 6.1-inches. However, the screen might feel more premium to you in the iPhone 13. Secondly, while the iPhone 12 is powered by an A14 bionic chip, the iPhone 13 has an A15.
There is a lot of difference between the two chips in terms of performance as well as long-running. The CPU inside the iPhone 13 has also been built to accommodate gamers. So that phone not only stretches to fans of photography, but to those who wish to play games on it. Of course, gaming is not the only thing you would use a phone for, but it is a plus!

The iPhone 13 is a tad bit heavier than the iPhone 12, by about 10 grams. However, the difference is not too noticeable when you’re going for either phone. Apple may have stepped down some pixels in the new iPhone but that doesn’t mean it is any less capable in photography. In fact, the newer one could shatter further bounds of image recognition.
When it comes to price, the iPhone 12 mini and base variants are at $599 and $699. In iPhone 13, the mini and base variants are at $699 and $799. However, the price gap does compensate for the fact that the storage option in 13 is 128GB for the lowest price. In iPhone 12, it is 64GB. So, with that extra $100 in either one, you are getting double the storage! If you are making a hefty investment, you don’t want to run out of space any time soon. Additionally, the Pro Max variant of the iPhone 13 also has a 1TB storage option!

The Verdict
It seems that, in a price increase of about Rs.16,000/- equivalent, you are getting much better tech as well as quality. Both of them are iPhones but we would say to save up and go for the iPhone 13. If you are going to spend a hefty amount on a smartphone, then you might as well go for the best one in that range.
Pakistani drama creators, on being asked, why they show cliched stories say that it’s because they want to show the reality of life. It sells too, they say. But in priding themselves about focusing on reality they keep getting caged further and further within households. It is like they refuse to acknowledge life in workplaces and Hogwarts, but oh well.
In the recent installment of not knowing life exists outside marriages and deaths, a renowned channel made a Pakistani drama that is getting quite some backlash. A viral video clip from the drama, Juda Huay Kuch Is Tarah shows foster siblings getting married. The term they use is Razaai behen bhai. By using the term, the drama intends to show that two unrelated people were breastfed by one person.

A woman in the clip strolls in and says that these two should not have gotten married because they are not religiously allowed. What’s more is that right after that, the next scene shows that the couple is pregnant.
Seeing such a story on Pakistani television is unimaginable. But most of the viewers are having the laugh of their lives because they are reminded of Game of Thrones.

No, not Dani, but the Lannisters. Of course, Dani and Jon Snow had a questionable relationship as well but the Lannisters were biological siblings who have three children together. While the relationship of these Pakistani drama characters may not be featuring biological siblings, but to the viewers, it seemed on the same level.
Take a look at the clip!

A little known fact is that the drama was written by Khalil-ur Rehman Qamar. Now, we are all aware of how he makes every single writing of his about himself. Should we try to guess if this drama is too?
Never mind, let’s focus on what people had to say about this.

We are sure that eventually it will all be shown as an evil plan to break up a relationship but kudos to Pakistani dramas who cannot show detective concepts or ghostbuster concepts. But they can totally get inspiration from Game Of Thrones and still call it family friendly TV.

KIA has become one of the most popular brands in Pakistan. It has gained quite a lot of success with the revival of the KIA Sportage. The company, however, has not stopped with that vehicle. From Picanto to Sorento, they have released quite a lot of impressive vehicles. The former is considered as one of the best compact cars of today. Additionally, their plant in Port Qasim is hard at work to produce some of the best vehicles of the time.
Now, it seems that two more vehicles are likely to be launched under the banner of Lucky Motor Corp. One of these is the Kia Stonic and the second one is Peugeot 2008. This certainly marks a historic moment because LMC is the first to release two different brands of vehicles. Both of the vehicles enter under the crossover SUV domain (B Segment) and are worth a glance.

KIA And Peugeot Coming Soon
According to sources, these vehicles have set months in which they are going to be released. The Kia Stonic is set for a launch in October whereas, the Peugeot is coming in for November. These months are not far away and we may see them on the streets in the coming year.
Both of these vehicles are going to be assembled locally in Pakistan, which means we can also expect a lower price bracket for them. The government wants to make them affordable for the citizens so we can expect many people to go for them. Additionally, both companies are known for making impressive vehicles with extraordinary specifications. The Stonic is by Kia Motors and Peugeot is under the Stellantis group. What is interesting is that a lot more vehicle brands come under this group.
We hope that the launch of these vehicles gets positive feedback from the audience. People are looking to buy newer cars and they have a plethora of options now. KIA is certainly making impressive strides in their domain and so is Peugeot.
