A young guy named Talha Rashid took to Twitter to report something horrifying. It’s insanely cruel and heart-wrenching, a soft-hearted person can never watch.
Two Brothers And Their Cruelty
Talha Rashid’s two uncles stormed into his house and cruelly beat his mother and his grandmother. Unfortunately for them, everything was recorded. It appears the two women were inside a room at first and they barged in despite their consent.
Upon coming inside they started thrashing their sister with a helmet and also a small hammer. When the grandmother used to step in to protect her daughter, she was also hit her severely. The video is so gut-wrenching because it shows how the women fall like cards upon one hit by the men.

Talha Rashid raised his voice on Twitter. He started the trend of #HelpArsalanFamily to protect his mother and grandmother. Their uncles attacked their sister and mother while Arsalan and his brother were not home. Moreover, Arsalan’s brother shares that this property issue has been persisting for 6 years and is still unresolved.

The two brothers barbarically beat their sister and mother over property issues.
The Result?
Abbas Ahsan, DIG of Punjab, was tagged in all the tweets. Later, he tweeted that action has been taken. The two culprits are arrested and a case has been registered against them. Arsalan also went on to talk about how much our society has regressed for such incidents to be happening.

Unfortunately, property issues have been the cause of many fights and barbaric incidents in Pakistan. Unless there is strict observance of law and also some amendments, the situation is unlikely to change.
How Are The Victims Now?
The victims, namely Talha Rashid’s mother and grandmother, are better. His mother is still suffering from headaches and blurred vision because she was struck by a hammer several times. Though the son claims this is nothing serious, being struck by on the head is far from not serious.

In several such incidents, internal bleeding can happen too. In addition to that, we hope this country can serve them justice by arresting, charging and imprisoning the brothers. This beating is not simply a case of property it’s a case of men versus women at heart. The brothers could not bear their sister asking for her part. They also felt superior and hence, knew they could beat them. This is exactly what must change.
