Instead of going through the hassle of long procedures or verifications, it will be able to be done through an application.

All you have to do is sit at home and log in to your app. Next, through the app, your fingerprint will be acquired and matched. Since each person is unique to their fingerprint, there is not a lot of wiggle room for error here. Once matched, you will be able to make financial transactions simply using that fingerprint information.

Other banks to get this tech also includes EMI (Electronic Money Institutes) or places that have no branches. Nadra is proud to introduce this technology in Pakistan because it shows the completion of a milestone. Not every country can say that they have done what we have. 1. Broadway

Broadway released a static ad for the 6th September Defence Day to convey to Pakistanis their level of patriotism. They used visuals that had a Chinook helicopter transporting pizza. The copy read, ‘We might share our pizza but we do not share our homes.’

People just couldn’t understand the need for that particular set of visuals and copy. A few of them were trying to understand the content’s relevance and after realizing they were laughing at its creators.

According to reports, mounting an iPhone on a motorcycle could damage the camera system! It seems that high amplitude vibrations in certain frequency ranges are bad for the device. It is these vibrations that are caused by motorcycles with high-volume engines. The vibrations are transmitted through the handlebar and direct to the iPhone. The OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) feature, while built for durability, can only handle so much.

Repeated exposure to such vibrations is not recommended as you might see degradation in picture or video quality over time. While the specification has been made on high-volume or big motorcycles, it is not recommended to mount on scooters either. If it must be done, then Apple recommends using a damper in the mount to reduce the risk.

In a society that is driven by labels, breaking the stereotypes takes courage. Nonetheless, it was shown by the one and only Nisha Rao, Pakistan’s first transgender to get admission in MPhil. She is the first person in Pakistan to reach this level while belonging to a marginalized community.

Nisha Rao previously made headlines for becoming the first transgender lawyer in Pakistan. She got her LLB degree from Sindh Muslim Government Law College in 2020. However, this time she is set to make her mark in the community once again as she becomes the first transgender person to get admission to an LLM program at the University of Karachi.

While she takes another step to normalize equal opportunities for the transgender community, she is keen on shattering the stereotypes.

Nisha Rao Shows Gratitude

In a recently conducted interview with Nisha, she showed immense joy over her admission to the university.

“I had been distraught for two months. After appearing in the exam in June this year, I didn’t hear anything back. However, I was informed just four days ago that I had gotten admission,” she said.

“I have paid a fee of Rs104,000 for one semester for LLM, which shows how impossible an idea it is for transgender persons — who mostly beg on the streets — to be able to pay for higher education,” she added.

“Paying for education is the biggest challenge for the transgender community,” She said. “They end up in the turmoil of whether to get an education or not because it is so expensive.”

“It takes Rs400,000 to complete the LLM degree. I also have bought a scooter for Rs 170,000 so that I can travel easily. There are no scholarships available for the transgender community,” she said.

An Upfront Personality With Ambitions

On a question about how she would feel if she got bullied or harassed, she replied, “It all depends on someone’s personality.”

“If a transgender person speaks well, puts on less make-up, walks properly, and stays confident, people won’t bother them,” adding that she has never faced such unpleasant situations.

Karachi University Vice-Chancellor (KU-VC)

KU-VC fully supports the decision and says that efforts must be made to ensure the transgender community is given equal opportunities.

He said that the decision to admit Nisha Rao was taken at a meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR).

The Dean also mentioned that Nisha had scored fewer marks on the test. However, her dedication and interest made the decision easier for the board.

In order to make the affair legitimate, he signed the Nikkah papers with Alyzeh Gabol.

The latest news that came out is that the two have now been divorced. Zoraiz Malik’s divorce papers with Alyzeh Gabol spread like wildfire on social media. Apparently, the divorce papers were posted on social media by none other than Aasia Aamer, mother of Zoraiz Malik.

A Pakistani page called “Pakistani phupo” confirmed the news on social media. The page is alleging that this has been confirmed by the family itself. In response, Alyzeh Gabol is coming to Pakistan immediately and has also slit her wrist in response.

However, apparently, Alyzeh Gabol has cleared the air now. Talking to Galaxy Lollywood, it has been reported that Alyzeh Gabol has not slit her wrist, she is perfectly healthy. Umer Sharif is a legend when it comes to comedy. Whenever he would be on the stage, you could stay assured that Pakistanis will be entertained. While many know about his footprint on comedy, it is a lesser-known fact that he was always up and about when the current Prime Minister of Pakistan needed help in the funding of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital years ago.

Umer Sharif is having health issues. He took to a news channel that the doctor has said he can get the best treatment abroad. But it is clear that he cannot afford it at the moment. He has recently appealed to the government but specifically PM Imran Khan, for help. He said that he has always answered PM’s call in any matter he has been requested. So he has full faith in Imran Khan answering his call as well.

Trust the gen Z to make a cause they dearly believe in, go viral. And they did! Within a few hours of news channels covering Umer Sharif and his appeal, the clip was trending all over social media.

The government responds

After the clip became a trending topic on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, the Pakistani government finally took notice. Spokesperson & Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Political Communication took to Twitter their response by retweeting Waseem Badami’s tweet with a comment. Dr. Shahbaz Gill said that on the directive of the PM, the Prime Minister’s office is in contact with him. He also added that the office is in contact with Waseem Badami to get more information on the matter. As soon as the officials receive further updates, the help will be dispatched.

SAPM concluded the tweet by saying that they will keep the people informed on the matter.

The world of gaming is certainly taking massive turns. The industry is moving towards immersive gaming. Despite there being a virus, the industry has managed to capture the essence of gaming. Sony has been making considerable bounds and so has Microsoft. Gamers are expecting to see quite a lot of games before the year is up, and even more next year. In light of that, Sony finally hosted the PlayStation showcase.

It contained a lot of announcements, including games that have been in line for quite a while now. Apart from that, the 40-minute event held true to all the hype that had gathered. The PlayStation showcase was absent both in E3 as well as Gamescom. So, here we have a solo showcase for the company, at long last! Let us see what announcements were made.

PlayStation Making Bounds

Firstly, let us tell you that the trailer for the God Of War game was released. It is going to be titled Ragnarok and there is much to see. According to the Viking lore, Ragnarok was the event that signalled the apocalypse, with Thor fighting the world serpent. Let us see what this game holds in its plotline. Apart from that, the Sequel to Marvel’s Spiderman was also announced. The first game did quite well so it made sense they were going to move towards a second one.

The same company that is working on Spiderman 2, Insomniac Games, is also working on a new Wolverine game. We haven’t had many good ones since the PlayStation 2 so maybe it’s time to wake up this beast of a hero. Fans are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to play as Logan! Additionally, by March 2022, Gran Turismo 7 is going to be released. This is one of the games that are specific to the PlayStation and has been around for quite a while. Good to see there is development in the racing genre as well.

Finally, we got to learn that Uncharted is going to be released on both PC and PS5. It had even been stated earlier that all the Uncharted games were coming to PC by the end of this year. Now it has been confirmed! This creates a lot of hype for gamers because this game used to be exclusive. Who knows, maybe we finally also get to see ‘The Last Of Us’ on PC. That would be a piece of news!

The GTA 5 Enhanced edition has also been delayed so we are not sure when to expect it. It is high time for Rockstar to start working on the sequel to GTA 5 now. After all, fans want to see what the next generation of gaming looks like. Apart from this, we got a trailer for the remake of Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic. For long-time fans of the game and franchise, this is mighty good news!

Awaiting A Lot

There are quite a few things that deserve to be waited for. After all, a lot of games are appearing on the consoles and PC as the months progress. W hope to see robust releases of all of them, with spectacular gameplay and amazing stories.

It seems like Lahore Court is pretty active these days, especially with everything feminists would potentially have sympathies for. Just yesterday, the court issued arrest warrant against Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed for shooting a music video in Wazir Mosque some time back. They had not played music, it was just some moves, poses that we probably do for our daily Instagram posts. Today, it was Iffat Omar and Ali Gul Pir’s turns for having stood against Ali Zafar.

Ali Zafar Vs Meesha Shafi

In 2018, Meesha Shafi shocked the entire Pakistani industry by accusing Ali Zafar for sexual harassment. While complicated court proceedings continued to take place, celebrities also took sides. The ones supporting Ali Zafar and the ones supporting Meesha Shafi, both went down a dirty path in defaming the other person. And imagine, Ali Gul Pir and Iffat Omar joining in this race.

When these two are involved, there is no limit to what they may say about a matter they do not endorse. It gets messy even if they are talking about the most trivial issues. And if it is about something as huge as sexual harassment, imagine the limit they would go to.

Arrest warrant out for both celebrities

Of course, the Lahore court became active in protecting someone accused of sexual harassment by many. They issued arrest warrant against both, Ali Gul Pir and Iffat Omar for having defamed Ali Zafar.

In the court proceedings on Tuesday, Iffat Omar requested one time exemption of personal appearance at the court. Meanwhile, Ali Gul Pir neither showed up nor sent a representative. As a result, on Wednesday, the court issued bailable arrest warrant to Iffat Omar and a non-bailable arrest warrant to Ali Gul Pir.

The next hearing has been scheduled for October 6th.

Last week, the final season of the famous Spanish Netflix show, “The Money Heist” was released. Needless to say, the fans went on a roller coaster ride. However, after a week of its release, fans and the audience is pleading to boycott the show over their pro-Israeli remarks.

Money Heist Cast Appears On Israel’s Channel 12

According to Arab media, the cast of Money Heist spoke on television about the latest season and the recent advances. During the interview, a question was asked about the cast’s visit to Israel. In response to the question Darko Peric, who plays the role of ‘Helsinki,’ said;

“It was a marvelous experience, and I hope to come back again. I know that there are a lot of fans here, and the people here are great. When people travel to Israel, they always talk about strict security and police measures, but even the police wanted to take pictures with me when I arrived here. It was great!”

Hovik Keuchkerian, who plays ‘Bogota,’ mentioned that he only heard “wonderful things” about the country. He then praised Fauda, an Israeli drama about an undercover unit whose commandos carry out missions in the occupied Palestinian territories while disguised as Arabs.

Fans Call For A Boycott

As soon as the interview went viral, fans and Palestinians started pleading to boycott the show over their remarks. Palestinian activists launched a viral hashtag called #BoycottLaCasaDePapel, using the show’s Spanish name.
