Hareem Shah’s wedding was all about mystery and hype on the internet. The internet sensation announced one day she was going to get married to a political personality. Her husband’s identity was neither shared nor found for a long while. Now that Hareem Shah has introduced him to her internet community, the two are up to some mischievous activities. Have a look here:
Hareem Shah’s Videos With “Husband”
Shah shared an adorable video with a man, we can only assume to be her husband which might make many single people envious. The two are being their best lovey-dovey selves as they mimic each other. Hareem Shah’s latest video features her copying whatever her husband is doing and laughing over it. Have a look at their ‘inappropriate video’ here:
Hareem Shah only shared initially that her husband was a politician and from the PPP. Since his identity was enshrouded in so much secrecy, many started spreading the rumour that was it was actually Bilawal! However, soon the mysterious husband was revealed to be Bilal Shah from PPP.
When asked about why Hareem Shah was silent about it for so long, she added that he was married. The couple needed the first wife’s permission to announce the marriage to the public. Now, they’re continuously posting videos with each other on social media. Have a look at what else there is on Hareem Shah’s profile with the two of them together:
Many might contend that these videos may be ‘inappropriate’. The Tiktoker shares videos with her husband where it’s visible that she might be sitting on his lap. Moreover, the two don’t shy away from public displays of affection. In today’s context, when PEMRA bans ‘intimate’ scenes – ‘hugs’ or ‘sitting-together-on-bed’ scenes – should these be allowed?
It is obvious that the Tiktoker and her husband might be getting a lot of hate for the videos thus the comments are always being restricted. But they don’t budge from showing the world that they love each other – a bit too much! In that case, all is fair in love and war. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
Akshay Kumar plays Raju again, while Paresh Rawal returns as the wacky Baburao Ganpatrao Apte and Suniel Shetty as the practical Shyam.
The only reason you would not have heard about yesterday will be if you were intentionally blocking all the fireworks sounds and the meme war. Otherwise, you would know of the classic win against India that Pakistan scored. Neither did the Pakistan cricket team let them score more than 151 runs but the team was also able to achieve the target with 0 outs. We made history in the T20 World Cup and somehow netizens have found Akshay Kumar to be blamed.
The match was held on 24th October. It will go down in history and will be used numerous times as brands make TVCs for the next world cup. When India was batting, Pakistan was quick to take wickets. However, Pakistanis were still on edge because with Pakistan, you never know. However, the hope strengthened, and eventually, we were able to win. Someone decided to make a meme for fun and Indians, probably looking for someone to vent on, quickly took it up.
The meme was fact-based. Considering how Shahrukh Khan (SRK) is in the negative light these days in the Indian media, he was aptly used. The netizen said that in 2007 when SRK came to see the World Cup match of Pakistan and India, the latter won.
And now that it was Akshay Kumar who went to see the match this year, Pakistan won. The tweet labeled Akshay as ‘panauti’.
2007: SRK came to see match, India Won the T20 WC by defeating Pakistan
2021: jinx Akshay Kumar came to see match, India lost the match against Pak
People even brought up past references of how he was bad luck when he went to see women’s cricket match in Leeds, and the team lost the final. History was clearly rewritten.
The best part though was most definitely him leaving the match midway when it was clear there is no avenue of catching up. Could the scene be similar to this?
People were terming him a bigot. Well, considering the hard work and effort he has put in to make a name for himself and of course, being a good luck charm for us, we sincerely hope, Indian media will not be too harsh.
I mean, you cannot just blame your cricketer’s incompetence on an actor, right?
Remember this bigot next time you watch his movies Remembering the great fcking pervert reformer and Hinduism expert @akshaykumar who will soon pretend as #Prithviraj.
The T20 World Cup has taken people through a roller coaster of emotions. A lot of the matches have been quite hectic and amazing. However, for the people of Pakistan, the most recent one has been the most anticipated. In the most recent Pakistan v India match, Pakistan has scored a historic victory! With as much effort as they have put in this match, there is no doubt that they are going to go far.
Until yesterday, we were still unsure of who was going to win. Yet, we had our love and support directed towards the Pakistani cricket team. They have outshone themselves before and it has been quite spectacular. However, victory against India had become rarer in the last couple of years. After today, that situation is no longer true. The tides have changed and the dynamics have been altered.
The match started off with India at the batting end. However, it seems they had a shaky start, losing three wickets in the initial section of the game. Rohit Sharma was said to be one of the wild cards in the game but he left the field quite early. After their innings were over, Pakistan was given a target of 152 to achieve.
Believe it or not, the team reached the target without losing any of their wickets. That is right, India lost and Pakistan won with their openers still playing at the helm. The victory is an impressive one for Pakistan and the fans are nothing but joyous right now.
Twitter has completely exploded and you might want to have a look!
As you can see, the victory has produced quite a lot of memes as well as praise. It gives us hope that the rest of the matches of Pakistan can go quite well as well.
We wish the Pakistan cricket team the best of luck for their future matches and we will be by their side with full support. Let’s bring the trophy home, everyone!
Have you geared up for the match of the year? If not, you don’t have much time left as the match will air at 7 pm Pakistan time. Call your friends and family, set up a place in your house, and stock up on your favorite snacks. But if you want to make the most of it, head out for a screen display to have the most fun with the strangers over your shared love for the #PakVsInd match.

The day has finally arrived. It might not be the day of judgment for all of us, but for Indian and Pakistani cricket teams, it sure is. The fire was already ignited as soon as the match was announced between India and Pakistan. Rest assured, we knew what was about to come. Today, India and Pakistan are all set to face each other in Dubai’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
From big screening displays to brands offering food discounts, the party has sure started. The #PakvsInd is trending on #1 on Twitter. While both countries wait for the fate of their respective teams, the public will be biting their nails glued to their screens. However, the best part about the building up tension is the meme game which has already started.
Pakistan-India Match – Things Are ‘Bout To Get Serious
Over the years, several memes from the India-Pak cricket matches have gone viral on social media. The most recent example is from the ICC ODI World Cup 2019.
Momin Saqib, the man behind the ‘maaro mujhe maaro’ reaction from the match, was featured in another video. “Kya aap tayyar hai jazbaat se bharpoor Pak-Bharat ka match? Do hi toh match hain. Ek Pakistan India ka aur dusra Aamir Khan ka Lagaan movie wala,” he said in the video.
Saqib’s meltdown from the 2019 World Cup had become a sensation on social media, and even to this day, he is recognized as the ‘maaro mujhe maaro’ fan.
While the teams are busy preparing for the match, the public is busy sharing memes and coming up with solid comebacks. The memes sure are adding fuel to the fire while providing a hint of humor to tone down the tension.
The Pakistan and India matches will definitely go down in history. Every match tends to give us a gold mine of memes and laugh-worthy content. Similarly, some of the old memes are revived for today’s Pakistan VS India match.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane before we get some more content ahead of the match.
Just as the first ball after the rain delay was about to be bowled, the veteran wicketkeeper was seen yawning. And surely, the internet did not spare him.
With an increase in new channels popping up and a horde of fresh talent emerging in the entertainment industry from actors to television writers, it seems we have finally reached the point where we can actually start being proud of what our entertainment industry is churning out.
With Internet being dubbed as one of the most powerful tools that we have now, any issue that would take days to reach the audience, now just takes seconds to reach a global audience through Facebook and Twitter.
Humsafar might have been a fan favorite because of Fawad Khan but it failed to do make any serious mark in the entertainment industry, except the fact that its title song gained the unknown popular singer a platform to launch her career and its lead actors and actresses a few more jobs. But that was about it!
Never before had our entertainment industry bothered to tackle a social issue or a taboo subject in their dramas instead, they all stuck to the tried and tested, saas- bahu formulas or tragic love tales that were bound to get them quick ratings and a forgettable drama serial.
It seems like the formula has lost its charm as more and more dramas now being aired, are focusing more on social issues that no one dares to talk about otherwise! Child sexual abuse, third gender, domestic abuse in Pakistani families, are some of the taboo subjects that are now being raised.
Here we have a look at some of the bold Pakistani dramas that have been making headlines for all the right reasons.
1. Udaari
With a stellar cast that included some of the big names of the entertainment industry such as Samiya Mumtaz, Bushra Ansari, Ahsan Khan and Urwa Hocane, this drama was dubbed as one of the most interesting and thought-provoking dramas.
Directed by Momina Duraid who previously was responsible for some of the most tragic love tales, namely Humsafar, was the mastermind behind Udaari. Focusing on the topic of child abuse, something that people in Pakistan are not comfortable with addressing or even acknowledging, this drama portrayed it with much class and managed to stand out!
From Ahsan Khan’s powerful performance as a pedophile to Farhan Saeed’s strong portrayal of a lawyer, the cast did ultimate justice to their roles, making Udaari a must watch.
When was the last time there was talk about third gender out in the open in Pakistan without people feeling uncomfortable? Probably never.
Khuda Mera Bhi Hai focuses on the third gender that is more or less shunned by the majority of the Pakistani mindset and the life for them.
With a very strong storyline and a cast that includes Aisha Khan, Jibran Syed, Samina Peerzada and Irsa Ghazal, Khuda Mera Bhi Hai’ on ARY Digital is all set to hit the right chords. It might just about get even bigger than Udaari in a step towards highlighting one of the highly tabooed social aspects of our society.
Watch teaser below:
What does a family do if the born child is a hermaphrodite? It showcases just exactly what a couple goes through and how the society treats them when they give birth to a transgender baby.
Written by Asma Nabeel and directed by Shahid Shafat, the drama is bound to speak volumes by touching upon this bold topic.
Directed by Yasir Nawaz and written by Sameera Fazal, Chup Raho can be dubbed as one of the first few dramas that dared to highlight sexuality on our television screens!
The drama talks about one of the forbidden issues which are always swept aside for the sake of family name i.e. sexual abuse and the reputation of the girl that is ruined despite the wrongdoing of others.
Sajjal Ali’s moving performance in the drama along with Jibran Syed, Arjumand Rahim, Feroz Khan and Shaheen Khan’s powerful acting will keep you hooked!
Sajjal plays the role of a woman who gets raped by her brother in law but is forced to stay mum about it for the sake of not ruining her sister’s marriage, who is coincidentally married to the guy who sexually abuses her.
Illteja is an upcoming drama that talks about Down syndrome and the problems that come with raising a child suffering from it.
The strong message in the drama convinced Tooba to return to TV.
Tooba Siddiqui makes a comeback to the silver screen with this drama that is all set to air this December on ARY Digital where she portrays a woman who has a son, suffering from Down syndrome and the struggles that come raising a kid without any support from the family.
5. Saanp Seerhi
Umera Ahmed has long been a name associated with the Pakistani drama industry ever since Maat and Zindagi Gulzar Hai became some of the most watched television series.
So it was no surprise when she announced that the new upcoming drama serial starring Anoushey Ashraf named as Saanp Seerhi, would be written by none other than Umera Ahmed- the fans have never been more excited.
A post shared by Anoushey Ashraf (@anousheyashraf) on
Revolving around a journalist who comes back to Pakistan, Saanp Seerhi talks about what happens when she gets involved in a complex issue that lands her in hot waters.
The play, that is produced by Misbah Khalid and Mahrukh Amin, is slated to hit our television screens on Express TV in January next year. Not much has been revealed about the drama yet, all we know is that the serial will be highlighting a social cause!
Let’s wait and see what that is! With a cast that includes big names such as Samina Peerzada, Sajid Hassan and Yasir Mazhar this drama is worth the wait!
Another drama worth the mention here is Besharam, currently airing on ARY Digital– starring Saba Qamar playing the role of a top model who marries a middle-class man (Zahid Ahmed) the drama highlights the social stereotypes attached to models and actresses in a Pakistani society.
This year, whether you’re fascinated by the surreal beaches in Malaysia, tempted by the sky-rocketed towers in Dubai or enthralled to visit the City of Love; Paris. I bet, after reading this post, you would be forced to revisit your choices. Here comes the deal breaker: Pakistan!
Be it humongous mountains topped with ice or breathtaking meadows filled with beautiful flowers and greenery, Pakistan has it all. You will be surprised by how much of Pakistan you haven’t seen yet. So, prepare to be awestruck by the sheer beauty of Pakistan in these magical places mentioned below:
Ansoo Lake
Mesmerized by the view and thinking where it is? No, it is not in France. It is in our very own Pakistan. Located in the Kaghan Valley Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Ansoo Lake has been there for ages, waiting for the people to unveil the beauty of this very distinct lake. Wondering why is it called an Ansoo Lake? The lake, surrounded by ice, forms a human eye when looked from a distance, which made the locals call it as an ‘Ansoo Lake’.
Gasherbrum Glacier
If you are an ice aficionado and if just merely looking at the mountains topped with ice makes you feel giddy, Gasherbrum Glacier is your to-go place. Gasherbrum is a remote group of peaks located at the north-eastern end of the Baltoro Glacier in the Karakoram Range of the Himalaya on the border of the Chinese-administered Shaksgam Valley and the Gilgit-Baltistan territory of Pakistan. The name ‘Gasherbrum’ in our local language stands for a ‘beautiful mountain’ with “rgasha” meaning beautiful and “brum” meaning mountain.
Kachura Lake
Dreaming about the blue skies and crystal clear water of Malaysia but don’t have the resources to enjoy a fun-filled vacation over there? We offer you something which is very dreamy yet very affordable. Don’t believe us? Look at this.

The Kachura lakes are two lakes in the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. The lakes, at 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) in elevation, are Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake. The latter is also known as Shangrila Lake and is within a tourist resort named Shangrila Resort outside the town of Skardu.
Terraced Fields of Hunza
Want a mythical yet mystical view after all the mountainous beauty and clear waters? Then, you will be amazed to know that we have Hunza Terraced Fields on the list next.
Inspired by the mythical valley of Shangri-la in James Hilton’s 1933 novel Lost Horizon, the terraced fields of Hunza is truly a magnificent sight to behold.
Borith Lake
Yet another lake-y spot. We can’t help it but we have so many beautiful and versatile spots and we want you all to really see Pakistan is all its goodness. So here is yet another reason to love Pakistan.

Surrounded by mountains from all sides, Borith Lake is situated in Gilgit-Baltistan. Borith is a hamlet in the surroundings of the Borith Lake to the northwest of Husseini, a village near Gulmit, Gojal, in the upper Hunza. The altitude of Borith is roughly 2,600 m (8,500 feet) above sea level. In all its glory, Borith is the perfect place to go camping and have your ‘Yeh Jawani hai Deewani’ moment.
Leepa Valley
You know how they say that Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder? Well, we strongly believe that beauty lies in the Leepa Valley.
The Leepa Valley is in Azad Kashmir, which is the Pakistani-administered part of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir now in Pakistan. It is located 105 kilometres (65 mi) from Muzaffarabad. No matter how dangerous this place I believed to be, this view is worth dying for.
Lake Saif ul Mulook
Do you want to have your ‘Zindagi Na Miley Gi Dobara’ type moment with your close friends? Lake Saif ul Mulk is your place then.
A mountainous lake located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley, Saif ul Mulk Lake is located near the town of Naran. It is in the north-east of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. At an elevation of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level, it is well above the tree line and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Also with the cute little wooden boats available at the lake, your best bet is to go in the middle of the lake with the lanterns lit and have a good night with just your loved ones and the nature. I am sure the peaceful environment will grow on you.
Shogran Valley
Does this look like New Zealand to you? Then I would be glad to tell you that we have a little New Zealand hidden inside Pakistan as well.
Shogran is a village situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, northern Pakistan at a height of 7,749 feet or 2,362 metres above sea level. Shogran is located at a distance of 34 km away from Balakot. The road from Islamabad to Kiwai is metalled and measures 212 km. From Shogran, you can ride a jeep or horse or hike to several picturesque places like Siri, Paye, Makra Peak and the well-known Shogran Valley.
K-2
Want to know how our dream vacation place looks like? Good think I have a very real yet very dreamy picture to go with it.
K2, also known as Chhogori/Qogir, Ketu/Kechu, and Mount Godwin-Austen, is the second highest mountain in the world at 8,611 metres (28,251 ft), after Mount Everest. It is located on the border between Baltistan, in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, and the Xinjiang, China.
While the mountain is very difficult to climb with a high fatality rate especially in the winters, we wouldn’t mind just sitting by the narrow lake shown in the picture and admire the glorious sight in front of us. Who would?
Sonmiani Beach:
This looks like a beach in Karachi, doesn’t it? Only less polluted and less populated! Well, the Sonmiani Beach is not in Karachi but very close to Karachi. With only a two-hour drive from Karachi, this beach is located in the Lasbela District of the Balochistan state of Pakistan. It lies in the Sonmiani Bay and is very popular amongst tourists.
11. Hunza River
You just can’t go on a Pakistan tour and miss this spot. It is a MUST go!
Hunza River is a perfect spot to have a relaxing day with your loved ones. Hunza River is the main river in Hunza. It is joined by the Gilgit River and the Naltar River before it flows into the Indus River.
12. Kalam Valley
Amazed by the view at night? Well, it looks even better when you see it in person. Kalam Valley, situated in Kalam, Swat, is a famous tourist spot for foreigners. It is usually cool in the summers as well and is is surrounded by lush green hills, thick forests and bestowed with mesmeric lakes, meadows and waterfalls which are worth seen landscapes.
13. Mahodand Lake
If you love marine life and you want to be at a quiet place, just observing the marvels that nature holds, you should visit Mahodand Lake. Mahodand Lake, also known as the Lake of Fishes, is a lake about 40 km from Kalam, in the Usho Valley of Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwestern Pakistan. It is accessible with a four-wheel drive vehicle and is a good resort for fishing, boating and rafting.
14. Manthoka Waterfall
Next on our list is the tourist’s favourite spot.
Manthora Waterfall is all you dream about when you plan a vacation. It has a height of about 180 feet. The waterfall looks eye-catching and famous for its picturesque and spectacular landscape. The place is awesome and ideal for camping and fishing.
15. Skardu Desert
This is the place where the sky meets the earth. Or so it looks like it does. Those who venture the K-2, the second highest mountain after Everest – but much more difficult to scale than Everest, pass through the last major town of Pakistan, Skardu. Located at an altitude of around 8,200 feet in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, Skardu leads the way to five of the fourteen eight-thousanders of the world, both in the Karakorum and Hindu Kush mountain ranges. Adventurous isn’t it? Also, the desert is known as the coldest desert. Yes, the desert that makes you shiver with blowing cold winds, not sweat with hot winds as we usually do in the normal deserts located anywhere in the world.
There, we have it all listed out for you with minutest of the details available and we hope you would really go backpacking to have the times of your lives. Don’t forget to let us know your experiences/memories related to the above-mentioned places in the comments below.
If you are willing to buy a car, affordability in terms of price and maintenance is on priority. In Pakistan, where middle class makes most of the population, people look for vehicles that, along with fulfilling their needs, are easy on the pockets too. The average income earners in Pakistan are likely to spend up to 10 lacs for purchasing a new inexpensive car, and automobile manufacturers cater to this specified target audience since we see a variety of reasonably priced cars running on the roads.
We have come up with a list of 5 best affordable cars in Pakistan, falling within the 10 lacs range.
1. Suzuki Mehran
The highest selling car in Pakistan, Suzuki Mehran is the number one choice for majority of the customers for over a decade now. This low budget car is best in terms of durability when running on uneven roads. Also, it is very cost effective in terms of fuel consumption and availability of spare parts.
Mehran is simplest by design, but gives better mileage (18 KM on highways & 16 KM in cities) and better resale to the owner. The exterior of Suzuki Mehran 2016 model has been modified with the addition of sun roof. The four variants of Suzuki Mehran having 796cc OHC engines are available at following prices in six different colors.
Mehran VX: Rs. 625,000
Mehran VX CNG: Rs. 695,000

2. Hyundai Santro
Hyundai Santro is a car with a luxurious interior and metallic touch exterior at a very economical price. It is available in different models with slight variation of specs but the latest model Hyundai Santro Xing is a 1086 cc car with mileage 10-12 KM per liter. The 660 cc Suzuki Alto is surprisingly one of the most searched cars in Pakistan since April 2015. It’s high level performance with safety and comfort appeal to the customers are some of the highlights of the car.
The interior and exterior of the 2016 model of this car is smarter; with this improvement, it is undoubtedly the best combination of advanced and safe technology at a price tag of less than 1 million. The new 2016 model of Suzuki Alto is available around PKR 700,000, having mileage capacity of 37 KM per liter.
4. Daihatsu Cuore
With the metallic exterior finish and cutting edge features, Daihatsu Curore is a luxury available at a low price, imported from Japan’s Toyota Indus Motors Company (Ltd). The latest 2016 model of Cuore is powered with 660cc engine that gives an excellent performance and mileage.
This car gives you a pure driving comfort and smoothly runs on all kinds of roads in Pakistan; the price ranges between PKR 800,000 to 1 million. Daihatsu Cuore is the best Japanese Imported car at a very reasonable rate.
5. Suzuki Cultus
Suzuki Cultus has been added to this list as it is just fractionally above the 10 lacs mark. It’s bigger than Mehran and reckoned as the best family car available within this budget. One of the best features of this car is that the transmission is manual; however it can be changed to automatic.
The 1000cc Suzuki Cultus is a perfect combo of class and comfort to run smoothly on the roads. Introduced in 2007, it got a series of cosmetic upgrades in terms of exterior in 2013 and now with an engine upgrade, its latest model Suzuki Cultus Euro 2016 is available at a price of PKR 1,034,000 while the CNG Model is available at PKR 1,109,000.

As the days go by, the spirit of cricket strengthens among people. They may not be the most enthusiastic about the other matches, but they want to watch one match. Yes, we are talking about the upcoming one between Pakistan and India in the T20 world cup. Even in the past, whenever these two have collided with each other, the hype has been enormous. Whether you are a fan or not, you might still tune in to get updates on the match. So, amidst all of this, who is going to take the victory? Who should be the rightful winners of this match?
The odds can be quite even but each team has its own advantage. Where one may have a stronger bowling line-up, the other may have a batting advantage. Despite there being so many memes and jokes, people would still love to see these teams go head to head. Pakistan has had quite a run and so has India. Both have produced some of the greatest players of history.
Help me pick one of the following for tomorrow evening: 1) Pak vs India T20 2) Friend's Walima
As you can see, there has been a lot of hype surrounding this match. People want to see who comes up as the clear winner here.
Just realised I have seen every single Pak vs India WC match (T20 + ODI). Those 3 losses in the 90s were the toughest to digest given how often Pakistan used to defeat India outside of the WCs.
Even in the news, players of the Pakistani cricket team can be seen practising and training. They want to make sure that they win, and they will go far. The players have made up their minds in accordance with what they are going to face in India.
When looking at the lineup of India, there have been many discussions on it. It seems that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the key players against our team. We have to be prepared for anything India is going to offer, including the ability to tackle these two.
Here, we can see that Shoaib Akhtar has expressed his opinions and outlook on the upcoming match. He is considered one of the best cricket players in the world. His bowling speed record remains unbroken!
#PakVsInd Spirits are high game on hai Pak is all set to win Inshallah
We read and watch all this and we are headed towards the match. It is going to be streamed in quite a lot of locations in Karachi so don’t forget to tune in or reach your venue on time!

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has directed local television channels to stop airing caress and hugging scenes in dramas. The authority has received several complaints against such objectionable content. Meanwhile, in a notification issued to TV channels, PEMRA said that the complaint portals are receiving a significant number of calls from the public. A considerable portion of the society believes that dramas are not depicting the true picture of Pakistani society.
The Notification
The notification highlights some of the points for the TV channels. It takes note of the dramas for promoting and airing scenes that go against the morals of the Pakistani culture and society.
“Hugs/caress scenes/extramarital relations, vulgar/bold dressing, bed scenes, and intimacy of married couple are being glamorised in utter disregard to Islamic teachings and culture of Pakistani society,” the notification said.
According to the notification, the PEMRA is receiving numerous complaints on the Pakistan citizen portal. The PEMRA complaint call center is also getting a lot of complaints from the general public. According to them, the media glamourizes extramarital affairs, bold dressing, and the intimacy of married couples. Such scenes go against the values of Islam as well as the culture of Pakistani society.
The authority added that it has directed the channels time and again to review content with indecent dressing, controversial and objectionable plots, bed scenes, and unnecessary detailing of events.
“Forgoing in view, all satellite TV licensees have to stop airing such content in dramas. As well as, ensure compliance of PEMRA laws in letter and spirit,” it added.
Legal and human rights professional Reema Omer took to her Twitter account to share her views and thoughts regarding PEMRA’S decision. She said:
“PEMRA finally got something right; Intimacy and affection between married couples isn’t ‘true depiction of Pakistani society’ and we must not glamourize it.”
“Our “culture” is control, abuse, and violence. We must jealously guard against the imposition of such alien values.” The legal expert added.
Here’s the notice:

Previously, PEMRA has banned quite a list of dramas for showing unethical content and vulgar scenarios. The Pakistani dramas have been going above and beyond with their plot lines. Recently, a drama recieved a lot of backlash even before its release over the storyline of foster siblings getting married. However, it seems like soon PEMRA will take the same measures again if the TV channel does not comply with the orders.
What do you think of PEMRA’s decision? Let us know in the comments below.

Hira Mani is one of those celebrities who takes pride in being who she is. She always has been vocal about her personality and how confident she feels in herself. However, the recent pictures on her social media account state otherwise. As netizens who have a keen eye spotted a few pictures of her, which were photoshopped. Nonetheless, she got some serious remarks about her photoshopping skills.
Hira Mani’s Latest Pictures
Hira Mani posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a Zainab Chottani outfit. In her caption, she was all praises for the designer. However, it didn’t take long for people to figure out what was wrong with the picture. While her waist looked extremely thin, on a closer look, it showed that everything besides her is bent and is not in composure. A bad case of photoshop, you might say?
Still cannot figure out what is wrong with the picture? Here is a closer look.

Society’s obsession with a slimmer waist and fair complexion is definitely a matter of serious concern. Yet now and then, we come across certain cases of celebrities promoting and doing the same. Being a celebrity comes with a responsibility, and doing the things that are already the root cause of so many problems might seem in bad taste.
Body image issues or a simple measure to look appealing on social media? Resorting to such manipulation makes her part of the problem as such posts propagates insecurities in an average women.
Netizens made sure to give their two cents regarding the situation and commented how she needed to take classes to edit her pictures.
“Photoshopped arms to slim them down at the cost of an even bigger, thicker, metal road.” One user wrote.
“Wow! How confident and happy she is in herself. ” Another wrote.

At the same time, some took a dig at her own statement by saying; “Photoshop ko bi smjho, bari pyari cheez ha.” (Try to understand photoshop, its beautiful).
Social media pries on people’s insecurities merely because of the fact that we want to portray our best selves over there. Despite people trying their best to smash the concept of perfectionism on social media, it seems like we still have a long way to go.

While the 9 to 5 life may be the goal of many, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. There are some who’d feel extremely unhappy stuck in the same place, day in and day out. You can be one of those who love travelling and would rather be catching flights. But the question is, how does one sustain that kind of lifestyle?
Hallelujah! Think about a source of income that comes through travelling and you’ll be set. Here are some of the best 7 options:
1. Consultants
Companies hire consultants from a variety of fields to fix a host of specific problems. A consultant’s clientele is based all around the world (for major firms) because the knowledge of each is so specialized. Thus, in order to maintain that relationship and for on-site visits, say hello to foreign trips!

2. Diving Instructor
There is a whole other world beneath the ocean’s surface, and you can live it by travelling and teaching the essentials of diving. Scuba instructors get the opportunity to see parts of the planet that most people never would. To get started, you would have to be passionate about swimming as you are about travelling.
3. Event Coordinator
Event coordinators can work on local events as well as major international gigs. If you make it big, you could be orchestrating large-scale events like festivals and trade shows. It’s a dream for anyone who loves travelling. You’d meet with potential vendors from across the country, then travel to the event location to oversee everything from setup to breakdown.

4. Flight Attendant
This is a cliched one, but it is what it is. You don’t need a specialized degree to become a flight attendant and most major airlines only require prior customer service experience. The hours are frequently erratic, and the work isn’t always easy, but you’ll get a glimpse of hundreds of cities across the globe during your career. A bonus perk? Free or discounted flights for you and your family.
5. Photographer
If you’re skilled with a camera and want to capture the world, a travel photographer might be your calling. While publications such as National Geographic and AP need full-time photographers, you can also make a living by freelancing. Travel photographers are needed to take photos of everything from high-end resorts and tourist attractions to local events and cultures.

6. Travel Writer
This one’s for those writers who get their inspiration from travel. It might not be the easiest way to make a living, but if you’ve got a knack for writing, you can share your knowledge about popular travel destinations. However, most of the work you can get is freelance as publications typically want individuals who can submit firsthand accounts of the location they’re writing about.

If you are a regular video streamer through cellular internet then you must have observed your browsing does not always reflect your video streaming. Even if the browsing is a bit slow, YouTube or your Facebook videos could stream without any hindrance. When looking at the data, you can see Zong in the lead and it is followed by either Ufone or Jazz. Telenor is at the end in almost all the graphs.

Pakistan has been seeing a lot of development in terms of automotive. Despite there being a pandemic, there are a lot of brands entering the country. We are seeing more and more cars on the streets than we have seen before. In light of that, a new policy came into being this year. It showed that there are going to be tax reductions and exemptions. From 660cc cars to 1000cc ones, people were going to see some major changes.
Now, it seems that a new auto policy is just beyond the horizon. A draft is going to be presented by the Ministry of Industries soon! It is going to contain some new reforms as well as some additions to the existing policy. The new one is going to last till 2026 so there is still a lot of ground to cover. Let us check out the details of this draft.
According to sources, the draft is going to be presented by the Ministry of Industries. The target of the draft is the federal government and their work in the auto industry. According to sources, this new Auto Policy is going to mandate security features in vehicles as well as dissuade the ‘Own Money’ culture that is setting itself deep. An explanation has been sought from the Competition Commission of Pakistan and the Engineering development board. This is for their roles in monitoring and improving the auto industry.
It was also highlighted, by Rana Tanveer Hussain, that the auto industry is still being monopolized. The pre-existing car companies are not showing as much innovation as they should. Rather, they keep coming up with newer models but with a price hike. How can these vehicles be considered affordable by the majority of the public?
Automotive Future
The government, in this regard, has asked the automotive manufacturers to hold the price. However, due to increasing production costs, it is not entirely possible. With a new auto policy on the edge of a reveal, we have yet to see what unfolds.
Maybe the policy itself is able to improve a lot of the automotive industry. People love driving cars and they want nothing more than to experience the latest ones. Despite there being so many price hikes, there have been vehicle launches in the past years. Let us hope the vehicles can be made more affordable.
In 2020, the cinemas closed down alongside every public space including restaurants and malls. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic stabilized, the restaurants began working even if it meant serving customers outdoor from time to time. However, cinemas just could not do that. The movie lovers had the hardest time and they are the most excited now ever since the government allowed cinemas to open up. Atrium Cinema has probably made Karachiites the happiest though.
While other cinemas are probably still struggling with the logistics, Atrium Cinema already announced its opening-up. It was supposed to happen on October 22nd. They even uploaded all the movies they would screen further enticing the desperate audience.
However, it turns out that just like leaving a car rusting away for too long a cinema also faces technical issues. They could not play the movies due to some error. It would have been more tragic had the authorities not given a definite date of return but they did. They announced on all their pages that while they had technical difficulties and could not operate today, they will indeed be starting from tomorrow, October 23rd, 2021.
Let’s take a look at the film that will be available from tomorrow at the cinema.
1. Dune
Dune is a science-fiction film based in the far future, 10191. The movie stars Zendaya, an actress we have grown to love ever since Tom Holland’s “Spider-Man” made to the cinemas. The movie will get the 7:30 pm and the 10:15 pm shows in the cinema. So, even if you are those unlucky few who have work on Saturdays you can catch the movie easily right away tomorrow.

2. Ron’s Gone Wrong
Let’s be honest, no one ever gets old for an animated movie. If you claim you do not know about Lion King or you do not hum ‘Let It Go’ every now and then, well, I personally might not trust you again. Anyway, the next animated movie around the corner is Ron’s Gone Wrong and you can catch it at two times, 5:30 pm and 7:45 pm.

3. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Venom is the movie you just have to gear up for. Knowing that this will get the most audience, Atrium too has the most shows allocated for it. Be it 3 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, 8 pm, or 10 pm, all you need to do is stroll in and buy a ticket. Of course, considering the number of shows and the expected audience, it is better to pre-book.
If you are a horror show fan, it is not possible that you haven’t watched this movie as of yet. However, the cinema experience is indeed different for each movie. Even if you downloaded it (oops, did we say it out loud?), you can still catch it on the cinema screen with fellow horror genre fans. The shows for the Conjuring sequel are 3 pm, 5 pm, and 10:30 pm.

Are you ready to become a cinema regular once again then?

Don’t all of us have a love-hate relationship with Pomegranate? The Fall delicacy is known for pinkish-red orbs filled with crunchy, juicy seeds (known as arils), bursting with flavor. The sweet and sour flavor topped with black salt is a treat for your taste buds and also, very nutritious.
Benefits of Pomegranate
Pomegranates are known as a superfood with tons of wonderful health benefits, including fighting cancer and heart disease and lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. They’re also loaded with vitamin B, potassium, and folic acid.
Mastering the art of seed extraction doesn’t have to come at the expense of hand cuts. It also shouldn’t take hours, that you don’t feel like having it by the time you are done. If you’ve ever felt intimidated by pomegranates, this post is for you! This easy way to remove the pomegranate seeds will eliminate your fear of this beautiful, crimson fruit.
Let’s take a look at three ways to de-seed the Pomegranate.
1. Smack Them Pomegranate
Wash the Pomegranate well before starting.
Cut the Pomegranate halfway through into small sections. The smaller the pieces, the easier it becomes to get the seeds out.
Place the Pomegranate, cut side down, in your non-dominant hand with your fingers spread apart. Place a deep, medium-sized bowl under your hand with the Pomegranate.
With a sturdy spatula or a wooden spoon, begin to whack firmly on the top surface of the Pomegranate.
Don’t be afraid to go a little overboard. Gently tapping won’t take the seeds out. So don’t hold back on your anger. Vent it all out.
Continue until all seeds are out. You can also pick the remaining few seeds with your hands or spoon them out.
Repeat with the other half. Remove the white membrane, which might be mixed in with the seeds.
Chill the water before you prepare the Pomegranate so you can soak it immediately. The colder the temperature, the looser the arils will be. If you chill the water with ice, remove any ice cubes before you soak the Pomegranate.
Cut off the top. Then, cut it into quarters. Make each quarter even so they soak for the same amount of time. Sharpen your knife before you score the Pomegranate. Dull knives are both more time-consuming and dangerous. You’ll get a cleaner, more accurate cut with a sharp knife.
Soak the quarters in the cold water.
Pull off the outer red skin and gently scoop the seeds from the pomegranate skin.
Scoop the seeds up and place them in a bowl. Let the seeds dry for five minutes before you eat them.
