2019 Honda Brio Hatchback: Exporting of the Vehicle Kick-Starts

Honda has officially started its export of the 2nd gen 2019 Brio Hatchback. The hatchback is being exported from West Java, Indonesia.

Honda’s automobile manufacturing and sales joint venture under the name Honda Prospect Motor has started production of the hatchback as it had announced in November 2018.

The Brio hatchbacks will be exported to the Philippines and Vietnam under an accumulative export value of US $70.54 million reported by a local website.

As per stats, Honda Prospect Motor holds the capacity of producing 200,000 cars every year in two of its manufacturing factories in Indonesia consisting of 6,900 employees.

The 2nd generation Honda Brio Hatchback was unveiled at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), back in August 2018. The car is equipped with a 1.2-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 88 hp and 110 Nm of torque at maximum.

Samsung Pakistan drops Samsung mobile prices in the country.

Although, this move might be the company’s new strategy for its rivals as the discount was announced on the launch date of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.

Samsung has slashed the prices for Galaxy S10 and Galaxy A9 respectively. The previous price-tag for the S10 was set at PKR 164,999 that has come down to PKR 142,500, while the A9 was at PKR 99,999 and is now available for PKR 79,999.

Celebrating Pakistan’s Resolution Day, thousands of Lahoris participated in the annual #LahoreMarathon2019.

The marathon covered a 10km route (starting from Gaddafi Stadium roundabout) and was aimed at promoting a softer image of the country, through engagement of citizens in healthy activities.

With the recent on-going tensions in the region, Lahore Marathon is an initiative of the District Administration Lahore aimed at delivering a message of peace on Pakistan’s Republic Day.

The Marathon invited citizens of all ages and gender to #RunForPeace, symbolizing a communal petition of peace and harmony globally. The non-profit event will be title sponsored by the brand Oye Hoye and organized by Dreamweaver Productions.

Citizens competed in 3 general categories; Men/Athletes, Women/Children, and Senior Citizens. In each category, winners were given cash prizes and awarded gold, silver and bronze medals by the chief guest’s Wife of Governor Punjab Mrs. Sarwar,  Ejaz Chaudhary – PTI General Secretary and  Saleha Saeed (D.C. Lahore)

The tweet caught the attention of Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane and she couldn’t stop herself from replying.

She wrote:

While I attach this video I do realise that Two wrongs DON’T make a right. Let’s not make this about protecting Hindu girls or Muslim families, let’s make this about protecting human lives across the subcontinent, across the world.

It’s not about ministers, it’s about the public!

She also requested to stop inculcating hate.

It’s hard to go to sleep while SO MUCH is wrong with the World today. Especially when the People in power instead of finding a solution are giving fuel to the fire. I wonder what will be left for them when they do succeed in their self destructive agendas.

Everyone around the world is eager for Apple‘s grand event which is to take place at their Headquarters in California!

There are many different speculated outcomes coming from whispers about what the tech-giant may have in store for their audience, including the most awaited iPhone SE 2.

The SE 2 is rumored to be a 4.5″ (11.43 cm) device with a screen resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels and runs on the iOS v10 operating system. The device is powered by Quad-core, 2.34 GHz processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.

Given that Apple’s newer phones are a bit out of range for many individuals who are wanting to purchase an iPhone, Apple can certainly time it right and bring the popular SE variant back.

The original SE was discontinued in September 2018. With a new SE phone in the market and eager fans, this might just give Apple sales a push the brand was eagerly waiting for.

On the other hand, according to MacWorld, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted in early 2018;  along with updates to the iPhone X and a bigger version with an OLED screen (now known to be the iPhone XS and XS Max), Apple would launch a cheaper iPhone in September 2018.

The XR arrived and the SE was discontinued. A typical strategy for the tech titan which we have seen it do for some time now. However, given the reports of Apple’s latest sales, it appears that the strategy is no longer doing the company well.

Could a new cheaper handset be the solution? Time will tell!
