It was made quite clear that there was to be no unsanitary material on the streets or the side. It happens every year and a lot of efforts are made to reduce this form of pollution. Not only is it bad for the environment, but it is also quite harmful to health. Leaving parts from sacrificial animals, out in the street, can attract quite a lot of germs and diseases. They must be disposed of properly.
While it was said that there is no animal waste out on the streets, many areas contradicted that. There is a famous road in Karachi by the name of Jehangir road. One of the reasons people know its name is because it’s always full of water. There are few instances when there isn’t sewerage water on the road. It makes commute quite difficult for many people.
Additionally, it is quite unsanitary and unhealthy. A lot of water-borne diseases could cause havoc in that region if the issue is not solved properly. According to a source, the road was full of water on Eid days too. Between that, a lot of animal waste was dumped on the sides of the road, eventually finding its way into the water. Not only has this increased the danger, but it has also put the residents of the area in a miserable state.
It must also be noted that this is not the only affected area of Karachi. Many other places have been left in a miserable state due to the animal waste not being picked up. It even causes a bad aroma in the entire area. The bridge that runs through the area ‘Water Pump’ also sees a lot of animal waste underneath it each year. The Nipa bridge is yet another place where animal waste is dumped every year.
These places must be taken notice of if they haven’t been cleaned already. We are not aware of the current situation of some of these places, but we are sure of many others. The primary issue is Netflix’s slowed-down subscriber rate in 2021. It is currently weathering a downward trend after a mega boom in 2020, post lockdowns. In the United States and Canada alone, Netflix has reported a loss of 430,000 subscribers in the second quarter. This would be its third quarterly decline in a decade.
The streaming giant has said, hence, that they are looking to get into video games. Said video game offerings would be available to consumers at no charge. Netflix will also only begin with mobile video games for the time being.

Their posts suggest that if you’ve just had a breakup, feel lonely, or simply need a companion, rent a brother via their service. In short, they’re giving one friend but on rent. You pay for the ‘brother’.

They have also created a comprehensive list of service guidelines. Firstly, a brother can be rented by anyone. The ‘brothers’ they have are apparently ‘wise, intelligent’ and ‘balanced weight’ individuals. We’re not sure why weight matters here but let’s move on!

Shahroz Sabzwari took to Instagram to post the sweetest clip of her daughter Nooreh on account of her birthday. In the clip, she is reciting ‘Ayat-ul-Kursi.’ Nooreh celebrated her birthday a few days ago, and in the caption, Shahroz mentions how blessed he is to have a daughter like her.

This game can be referred to as the ‘Champion Island Games’. Once you click on the Google logo, you are redirected towards the game itself. It starts off with the protagonist travelling to an island for the purpose of taking part in an event. This event consists of seven games as well as various side quests. The name of the protagonist, or us, is lucky the cat.
As you start off, you can run about and explore the island. There are numerous games to play and sidequests to perform. Whether you like to roam about or get straight to the point, the game keeps you engaged for quite a while. The seven mini-games that you can play are,

At the age of 21, in May 2016, Khadija Siddiqui was picking up her little sister from school when a man in a helmet got into a stabbing frenzy. She was stabbed on her neck, abdomen and arms a total of 23 times. Her little sister who tried to intervene was also hurt. The culprit was then identified to be Shah Hussain, her old friend who was angry over Khadija’s break-up with him.
After waiting for three years for justice, The High Court, initially, allowed the man to walk free on the streets. However, the case was reviewed and it was then that he was awarded the bare minimum punishment. 5 years in jail. There are people on death row in Pakistan whose crime is unknown, let that sink in!
Fresh Update on The Case
Unfortunately, Shah Hussain will not even be completing the full circle of this small punishment. He has been released from prison after serving 3.5 years. The news was touched upon by Jibran Nasir who raises pertinent questions for the Premier and the judiciary.
It is a miracle that Khadija survived the brutal attack on her. Now she studies in the United Kingdom and has made a life for herself there. However, imagine if someone who had stabbed you 23 times was set free on the streets. Would you ever feel free, confident, comfortable?
The Long Road To Justice
The road to justice in Pakistan is especially long and particularly rocky. It can not be said that Khadija Siddiqui was able to get ‘justice’. That woman walks with 23 scars on her body and the system could not give more than 5 years in prison to her attacker. There is a long list of femicide cases in which ‘justice’ has been pending.

3. Keep Charity Distribution Risk-free
Charity distribution constitutes a considerable part of eid-ul-Adha. If you’ve gone out on Eid days, you’ll remember seeing 10s of people lining up outside houses or people even opening their gates to distribute food. But, alas, this Eid, we can not afford the privilege of coming into such close contact when and if we distribute charity.

What you can do instead is pack the food in small packets and take them to underprivileged areas. From within your car, you can distribute the packets evenly. Moreover, you could always go on a drive and keep distributing as you see the deserving people.
4. Shop Online And Only Online
It can be tempting to go to stores to select your favorite outfits for Eid. It’s an undeniable fact that the stock in stores is just better and fresher. Even with brands in Pakistan offering fraudulent experiences with online shopping, you can feel wary. However, please, stay at home and shop online.
Look for trustworthy brands. Brands also understand nowadays that most people are shopping online, so the stock online is excellent too. You can try to find pictures of others wearing your desired outfit to see how it looks as well. Also, opt for brands that have a refund policy, so you’re not in trouble later.

Upon the announcement, several users of Coke Zero expressed their displeasure about the change. Many pointed towards past incidents where Coke tweaked its formula and it resulted in blunders. The change led to severe backlash from consumers and the company ended up losing millions.
