5 Reasons Rain in Karachi Does More Harm than Good: Time For Us To Be Proactive Rather than Reactive

rain in karachi

Rain in Karachi is nothing short of a blessing, especially considering how rarely it now occurs.

Karachiites get excited at any and every weather update that includes a rain forecast, and start dreaming of umbrellas and pakoras. The sight of underprivileged children enjoying the flooding streets brings back some semblance of joy and simplicity to the generally worried, anxious minds of Karachi’s residents.

However, while rain is great for plants and our hearts, there is another side to it that makes it rather dreadful for many.

Here are 5 reasons rain in Karachi does more harm than good:

1- Standing Water Yielding All Kinds of Infections and Diseases

According to WHO, standing water caused by heavy rainfall or overflow of rivers can act as breeding sites for mosquitoes. Therefore, chances of infections and diseases such as the following are enhanced:

  • Water-borne diseases, such as typhoid fever, cholera, leptospirosis and hepatitis A
  • Vector-borne diseases, such as malaria, dengue and dengue haemorrhagic fever, yellow fever, and West Nile Fever

2- Demolished Homes Rendering Citizens Homeless on Dirty, Flooding Streets

While many of us make the most out of the rainy season from our glass windows and under our safe cemented ceilings, a large number of people are on the streets because the government decided to demolish their homes a few months ago.

https://twitter.com/hussainjahanzeb/status/1155941794103738368

A good example of the same is residents of Ghareebabad, Karachi. This tweet aptly explains the distress of Ghareebabadis and how their misery is amplified due to the lack of safe outdoor spaces.

3- Citizens Dying of Electrocution and Other Incidents

According to various news channels, at least 16 deaths have been reported due to rain-related incidents in the city while many areas suffered from power breakdown that were still continuing.

4- Flooding Streets Making it Nearly Impossible for Citizens to Commute

Rain in Karachi can lead to the roads and streets being flooded to the extent that the water can be anywhere from ankle-deep to knee-deep to deep enough to drown half of your cars in it.

Thanks to which, it becomes near to impossible for people to step out of their houses. Not only that, the water also causes damage to both parked and moving cars, which results to the cars either breaking down on the roads or refusing to start at all.

Of course, that worsens traffic on the roads and results to increased frustration in drivers, pedestrians and traffic authorities.

Moreover, rain also causes the occurrence of grave pits on roads, which gives rise to accidents.

5- Businesses Suffering Due to Power Breakdowns and Lack of Attendance During Heavy Rainfall

Needless to say, when it becomes difficult to step out of the house, people are unable to reach their workplaces which results in more absenteeism which causes businesses to suffer.

Moreover, frequent electricity breakdowns that last too long make it difficult to work for employees who do manage to reach their offices somehow

How Can the Mess be Fixed?

Citizens brace themselves for disappointment whenever rainfalls in Karachi get heavy.

Major responsibility to take care of the city falls upon the shoulders of the government and concerned authorities.

Instead of reacting on the situation at hand, the government must pay attention to forecasts and be proactive. The only way these calamities can be avoided is if the government takes preventive measures ahead of time.

The government must put a special focus on housing, infrastructure, and electricity to ensure that citizens can take rain in Karachi as the blessing that it is instead of dreading it for the hazards.

Pakistan will not take part in the 26th World Team Squash Championship 2019!

pakistan squash

For a country that has produced legendary squash players such as Jahangir Khan, probably the greatest squash player in history, its a shame that Pakistan will not be taking part in the upcoming Squash Championship.

Previous world champions Pakistan have pulled out of the World Team Squash Championship to be held in Washington from Dec 14-21.

A Pakistan Squash Federation official informed ‘The News’ that since there was no realistic chance of even finishing amongst the top ten teams, the PSF has decided not to send the team to the World Team Championship.

Senior players are not putting in their best efforts. We have invested heavily in recent times on our seniors but they are not giving their best. That is why we have decided to pull out of the event. Instead, we would prefer to invest in our juniors, -PSF official

Pakistan finished 17th in the last World Team Championship which was held two years back.

The closing date of submitting the fee of £5,000 was July 16, however, PSF thought it would be a useless investment.

It is useless to finish out of ten teams. Seniors are not making their best efforts and we are in no mood to throw almost Rs 6 million without any real benefit.

Around 23 teams from all over the world are participating in the December World Championship.

It seems that India would be pissing the Championship as well as their name is also missing from the lineup.

“After World Cup, I have Decided I will Fix the Pakistan Cricket Team” – PM Imran Khan

Social Media Demands Answers!

Here’s what social media thinks about PSF’s decision:

Many feel the Pakistan Squash Federation is destroying the confidence of young squash players.

“What a negative defeatist attitude of the governing body of a sport we were once world champions in. Such a shame.” wrote Fakhr-e-Alam.

It’s a sad time for the country, it seems.

“How can we expect to develop star athletes with this kind of defeatist attitude?”

Do you feel Pakistan should have participated in the event no matter what results they produce?

Or do you agree with PSF’s decision to not invest in a team that has been underperforming and losing badly?

ICC Test Championship 2019-21: Pakistan’s Schedule Revealed

Uber Launches ‘Check Your Ride’ Reminder Across the Region

uber

As part of its continued commitment to safety, Uber has made significant steps to improve safety in recent years by making it a top priority and putting it at the heart of everything the company does.

Uber is rolling out Check Your Ride in-app reminders and push notifications to all riders across the region where it operates, just as it did in the United States in April.

Over the past few years, Uber introduced a number of safety products so that when you get inside your ride you can feel safe in the knowledge that you can share your trip with your loved ones, you know that your personal details have been anonymized, and should you need help there is a dedicated safety centre within the app to guide and support you.

These features built upon and strengthened some of Uber’s core safety offerings such as 24/7 support, GPS tracking of all trips, and the fact that all drivers are background checked.

These advances in safety are important and for them to be effective it starts with the basics, getting into the right car.  Using Uber safely starts with Checking Your Ride. Riders should never get in a car with a driver who claims to be with Uber but doesn’t match what is in the app.

Every time a rider takes a trip with Uber, they can make sure they’re getting into the right car with the right driver by matching the license plate, car make and model, and the driver photo with what’s provided in the app.

Regarding the safety features, Interim GM Uber, Saad Naveed Pall said, “We are committed to safety. The check-my-ride protocol is an extension of Uber’s commitment to ensuring rider safety.

The app will remind users to complete the three safety steps before every trip if they are entering the right car with the right driver before every trip by matching the license plate, car make and model, and the driver’s photo through information provided in the app.

He further added, “It is crucial to have constant reminders of the importance of safety since this is a top priority for Uber. With these new features, we are using tech to make travel safer than ever. “

In addition to these steps, riders can also ask the driver to confirm their name. Drivers see the rider’s name in their app, and the driver’s name is displayed in the rider’s app. To safely exchange names, riders can ask, “Who are you here to pick up?” The driver may also ask riders to confirm their name (“Who’s your driver?”) for their own peace of mind.

As of this week, users will start to see notifications in the app reminding them to check their ride.  This notification will become a permanent safety feature and Uber’s goal is to make checking your ride before you get in the car synonymous with using Uber as there is nothing more important to the company than the safety of the people it serves and it’s constantly working to improve.

Uber Safety Features

  • Check Your Ride Push Notifications: A new push notification to remind riders of the Check Your Ride steps just before their car arrives.
  • Check Your Ride In-App Banner: A clear message in the app, starting from the moment riders get matched with a driver-partner until the moment they start the trip, to remind riders how to confirm the right car. Uber will keep this reminder in place for several weeks and initiate it periodically in the future.

Pakistani Documentary “Armed with Faith” Makes it to the Emmy’s!

armed with faith

Considering the kind of news Pakistanis get to hear on a daily basis, we long to hear any news that is even slightly good for the country or its citizens.

The most recent feather in our hat has been added by Armed with Faith, a Pakistani documentary that has made it to the Emmy’s.

Yes, you read it right. THE EMMY’S.

Let’s hear it straight from the horse’s mouth, shall we?

What is Armed with Faith All About?

Armed With Faith follows the men of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bomb Disposal Unit (KPK BDU) to the front lines of the war against Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Pakistan.

The lawless province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — considered the gateway for terrorists from neighboring Afghanistan — is the backdrop of the film. The battle for control of this porous border area remains critical to the stability of Pakistan and global security.

Should Pakistan, a nuclear power, fall into the hands of terrorists, the entire world is at risk. We witness firsthand the dangerous struggle undertaken by the men of the KPK BDU to protect their country against the Taliban threat in the land they both call home.

Now that a Pakistani documentary has been nominated for the Emmy’s, we hope that we also win the award.

All the best to Geeta Gandbhir, Asad Faruqi, and the rest of the people behind the film!

#MeToo – News Channel Mocks Mohsin Abbas Haider’s Wife in a Segment

gnn mocks domestic abuse

In a society where it already costs an arm and a leg to come out with a #MeToo story and follow up with the case in court, the last thing we need is the media mocking the movement.

Case in point, Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar’s case and now Mohsin Abbas Haider or Shamoon Abbasi and his wife, Fatema Sohail’s case.

Complaints have been filed from both sides, but we have no concrete word about who the court is in favour of.

#MeToo : Famous Comedian Compares Ukhano with Junaid Akram

Recently, a video of a news channel making fun of domestic violence is circulating all over social media. The two guests are dressed up as Mohsin and Fatema.

Here is the video of the segment, Joke Dar Joke, in which the hosts and actors together are saying some very problematic things about abuse:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTuEJ-Ko4xA&list=PLNSD0EXJ-HpIvX4Fcxt68MJ4ObyDtRcB7

For example, here’s what one of the show hosts said to the woman:

“You’ve been calling all the men ‘brothers’, no wonder you’ve ended up like this!”

Another thing said by the same host was:

“Express your pain but please don’t make that bad face. Express it such that we listen to it with interest.”

Moving on, a problematic comment made by the female host was on “being liberal”.

“If your husband is in the media, you should be liberal enough to understand that your husband will mingle with female colleagues and costars.”

Popular comedian and writer, Shehzad Ghias took to his social media accounts to strongly condemn the content shown in the segment.

Here is what he said:

I generally dislike shows on the Mazak Raat format for their hateful nature of comedy but Joke Dar Joke on GNN tonight went the disgusting route of mocking domestic abuse so flippantly.

The man with the beard is particularly vile. HOW WAS THIS ALLOWED TO AIR? HOW IS THIS FUNNY?

Remind me again how political correctness in comedy has gone too far? This is your mainstream comedy!

To make it worse, the main show host, Hina Niazi, continued to defend the show by arguing that the show was meant to advocate women’s rights:

“I kept talking about women rights in this segment”

But Shehzad would not have it.

And neither would the rest of social media.

Many are even insisting that a complaint on PEMRA be filed.

Do you think it is appropriate for a channel to broadcast content like this for the public to see? Especially when victims of abuse need our support now more than ever?

Pakistan’s Official Visa Portal Goes Live!

Paksitan Visa Portal

Countries have flourished due to their great tourism potential and Pakistan is a country that is now following suit.

The government is coming up with various strategies to boost tourism in the country which will clear the negative image and support the economy.

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the new online visa system which will facilitate visitors from 175 countries, opening Pakistan’s doors to the world, making it more accessible to tourists and investors from across the globe.

Residents hailing from those 175 countries will get their visas within 7-10 days.

pakistan visa portal

The land is also geographically diverse and linguistically rich. It also possesses a number of historical, cultural and religious heritage tourist sites

The online facility will allow tourists seeking to obtain visas to Pakistan to do so conveniently without having to visit a Pakistan embassy or consulate.

It’ll only be a click away as applicants will only be required to log in to https://visa.nadra.gov.pk, fill out the application, upload the needed documents and make the visa fee payment.

They will then be sent a notification through email and SMS which will be reviewed upon entry into Pakistan.

The government is granting visas on arrival to people from 50 countries under Tourist Category and the citizens from 95 Countries are eligible to apply for Visa on Arrival under Business Category.

To encourage investment from abroad, the obvious first step was to ease the visa regime of the country. Regarding ties with neighboring countries, Pakistan wants good relations will all the regional countries, including India.

However, many Pakistanis feel that other countries need to reciprocate by allowing e-visas to Pakistanis as well.

Mahira Khan, Firdous Jamal: Top Model Dares Aged Male Actor for Open Kickboxing Challenge!

nadia hussain mahira khan

What took the internet by storm over the weekend was debate over whether or not veteran actor, Firdaus Jamal’s opinions on Mahira Khan should be respected.

Firdaus Jamal, on a show with Faysal Quraishi, had a controversial thing or two to say when he was shown Mahira Khan’s photo in a segment.

Cheekh ARY Episode 27 Review:  What Will Mannat Lose Next?

Calling the actress mediocre, here’s what he said:

I just wanted to say that Mahira is not a heroine. At this age, she should be playing the role of a mother.

Watch the video here.

While some actors like Veena Malik have shown support for Firdaus Jamal’s statements, many industry stars including Osman Khalid Butt, Mawra Hocane, Humayun Saeed, Faisal Kapadia, and others have strongly condemned it.

Among them is also the supermodel Nadia Hussain who has, without even mentioning Firdaus Jamal, slammed him with an open kickboxing challenge.

The show host Faysal Quraishi took notice of the backlash, of course.

Taking to Twitter, here is what he wrote to defend himself from the fire.

Calling Firdaus Jamal’s remarks “unnecessary” and uncalled for, he continued:

However, during the show Faysal had only seemed to add more fuel to the fire.

Do you think it is acceptable for influential personalities to comment on each others age and demean them like this?

Pakistanis Need to STOP Using Whitening Creams & Here’s Why!

whiting cream

With information just a click away, people are becoming more aware of what they consume and how they lead their lives.

Eco-friendly brands and “clean” products have been gaining popularity with buyers.

Many are starting to care more about what goes into the creams, powders, and lotions they’re using.

The trend has shifted towards Clean beauty; makeup and skin products composed of non-toxic, ethically sourced materials.

Just like the food we eat, education and awareness regarding what we apply on our face or body are extremely crucial.

However, it’s sad to discover that many whitening creams being sold in Pakistan contain mercury that can cause skin cancer and no one even bothers.

5 BB Creams That’ll Keep You Glowing This Winter

The government checked 59 samples and found 56 of them contained way more than 1% mercury. “We tested 59 brands in the country and 56 turned out to be using excessive doses of Mercury,” reported the  Minister for Climate Change, Zartaj Gul

The minister called out companies for making mercury-intensive products to profit off insecurities and our society’s color complex: “You are playing with our skin with your Rs10 creams.”

Such products make one insecure and discriminate rather than promote health and so legal action will be taken against these makeup brands.

“We will be legislating in this regard by December 31 and then we will crack down on you,” she warned cosmetic firms.

A list of dangerous beauty creams has been circulating online and many social media users have shown their support to create awareness.

Pakistan is still fighting the ‘gora complex’ and the fact that these whitening products sold in the country is direct proof of the demand.  It’s best that celebrities also stop endorsing fairness creams and promoting insecurities.

Other than that, always read the contents and do your research before investing beauty products that have ugly side effects. YouTube is your friend, check healthy hacks for beautiful skin instead of jeopardizing your wellbeing.

Stay safe, stay tuned to Brandsynario for more updates.

Mansha Pasha Slams Fairness Cream For Using Image Without Permission

Pakistan’s very own Tech Veteran Joins Daraz as CMO From OLX

Pakistan’s digital revolution began when brands like OLX started marketing a digital product in an FMCG style game plan back in 2012 resulting in double digits growth YoY. This increased the over all category of digitally consumed products which helped other multinational players in recognizing Pakistan as a land of next big growth opportunity.

On the fore front of this revolution of digital brand management is Pakistan’s very own tech veteran, Ammar Hassan, who was the founding employee of OLX, helping them set up the brand in Pakistan. Working from home, under the title of “Consultant”, the early days were challenging keeping in mind the digital landscape in Pakistan. We had a chance to speak to him about his journey so far.

You have come from a traditional background, how was digital brand management different?
It has its similarities in functions like creatives and media planning, but it is a different ball game. Data is available in a live manner. You know your campaign is a flop in the first week of media. Performance marketing has direct ROIs in your sales. Returning users are equally important than new users’ acquisition. Competition is not just the brand offering the same service but every other app the user is spending time on. Customer complaints, trust and safety, internet and socio-economic variables – all impact in a different way while marketing a tech brand.

You talked about Data, how important it to be Data Savvy for Marketers?
Not only marketers, I think everyone in the organization should be data savvy. I do data workshops in MNCs & universities to reiterate the importance of creating a data culture. I have been lucky enough in my 5-year span with OLX to be exposed with a lot of data in different departments. I have been heading customer operations, marketing and advertising sales which has given me immense opportunities to look at business operations through the lens of data and drive decisions without being biased. We have done top notch data modeling in marketing and business ops which have gained international recognition within 40 countries where OLX operated in last 5 years.

From OLX to Daraz – What was the reason behind the move?
I am lucky to be associated with two of the top tech brands in Pakistan with over a million active users daily.
OLX was a great company and gave me an entrepreneurial learning where we scaled from few people to now close to 100 talented resources.

I personally think that the brand who aspires to build operational eco system offline to support online audience can win this market. I was impressed with Daraz looking at how they have invested in the infrastructure at a very fast pace. Speed in technology is critical, you need to be brave and ready to try growth hacks along with building a dependable brand which Pakistani’s can trust.

How big is Daraz in Pakistan?
Daraz is the leading online marketplace in South Asia, empowering tens of thousands of sellers to connect with millions of customers. Daraz provides immediate and easy access to 10 million products in more than 100+ categories and delivers more than 2 million packages every month to all corners of its countries.

To overcome the logistics challenge in its markets, Daraz has built its own logistics company specifically designed for e-commerce operations – Daraz Express (known as DEX) – to raise the standards for the industry. Daraz is also helping existing and new logistics providers digitize.

In 2018, Daraz was acquired by Alibaba Group, and is proud to carry its part of the mission to ‘make it easy to do business anywhere in the era of the digital economy’. As part of the Alibaba ecosystem, Daraz is leveraging Alibaba’s global leadership and experience in technology, online commerce, mobile payments and logistics to drive growth in its markets.

Cheekh ARY Episode 27 Review:  What Will Mannat Lose Next?

cheekh episode 27

Episode 26 of Cheekh ARY received a lot of criticism for sending out the dreadful message that anyone – especially any woman – who decides to stand up against the wrong will face nothing but loss.

However, Episode 27 tells a different story: The most fearless people are those who have nothing to lose, it seems.

Pakistani Drama ‘Cheekh’ is Currently on a Mission to Kill its Fan Following!

In the previous few episodes, Mannat (Saba Qamar) lost her unborn baby, her mother and husband. She lost the case and ended up at a mental hospital.  Nothing worked in her favour and miseries only kept increasing.

Episode 27 turned tables for Wajih (Bilal Abbas Khan) when he finally loses someone he cares about. He gets in a fight with his older brother (Emmad Irfani) and ends up pushing him to his death.

When the police come for an investigation, Mannat lies about the death, calls it an accident and saves Wajih, intending only to destroy him in the end. While Wajih is left confused, this only proves that Mannat after facing a series of tragedies has lost faith in the law and taken control of her destiny.

For the first time, Wahij feels the guilt and pain of his sins. He is burdened by his actions when even his eldest brother Yawar (Aijaz Aslam), who until now was saving him, shows disappointment and displeasure

While Bilal aces the role and succeeds at showcasing Wajih’s weaker side, Saba Qamar remains the highlight of the episode.

She shows strength and determination as she threatens Wajih and promises to make him confess his sins by the time her iddat ends. Looks like Mannat’s shift in approach will be interesting to witness.

The episode also featured Ramzan’s (Noorul Hasan) daughter get harassed by a man the age of her father, upon which Shamsa (Saima Qureshi) understands her mistake and seeks forgiveness for being insensitive towards Nayab (Ushna Shah).

Karma seems to be on a roll, however, it’s disappointing to see that a woman had to lose everything to get justice.

While performance by all the actors remains the winner, the development could have been a little less traumatic for Mannat, we feel.

Here’s what Twitter has to say about the drama so far:

PTA Breaks Silence on Blocking Social Media Websites Due to Blasphemous Content

Reportedly PTA asked the government to increase its technical abilities or block social media websites in Pakistan in order to curb circulation of blasphemous content.

“[Dealing with] blasphemous content on social media is a huge problem. Most of the websites are being operated from other countries.”

Said PTA Chairman Major General (r) Amir Azeem Bajwa, while briefing the Senate Special Committee to examine purported grievances.

He continued:

“The government should either formulate a policy and block social media websites in the country like China and the United Arab Emirates — [which would mean] developing social media platforms locally like China — or it should increase the technical capabilities of the PTA,”

  • PTA has blocked more than 39,000 URLs since 2010
  • PTA had received 8,500 complaints regarding blasphemous content on the internet
  • PTA also blocked about 850,000 websites that had pornographic content

This PM Has Become the 8th Most Popular World Leader – Here’s Why

imran khan most popular leader

PM Imran Khan’s visit to the United States has been the talk of the town, and his Twitter following has risen to over 10 million.

Now, he ranks as the 8th most popular leader in the Twitter world, and that is significant as Twitter happens to be one of the biggest social networking websites.

So much so that The Honorable Mayor of Houston has invited him to visit Houston, TX on his next trip to the United States.

And oh! He also recently met the famous religions preacher Maulana Tariq Jamil.

While on the same basis, US President Donald Trump is on the first position with 62.3 million followers.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands on number two with 43.8 million followers, and Pope Francis is next with 18.1 million followers.

President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on the fourth spot with 14 million followers and former foreign minister of India Sushma Swaraj is next to him with 13.1 million followers.

However, we must keep in mind that most popular does not necessarily mean most loved.

Earlier this week, the gorgeous diva and ex-wife of Shamoon Abbasi, Humaima Malick startled her fans and followers when she shared her horrific story of violence and failed relationships.

Without naming anyone, Humaima Malick shared that her three-year-long marriage was all about physical and mental abuse.

On Thursday, her ex-husband Shamoon Abbasi finally broke silence over her status and rubbished all of her allegations.

Ukhano Sends Legal Notice to Girl Who Accused Him for Harassment!

He took to his Facebook account and wrote that he was shocked to see the misinterpretation that is created by her status.

He wrote:

WENT THROUGH THE NEWS ABOUT THE CONFUSION BETWEEN ME AND MY EX WIFE HUMAIMA MALICK AND SORT OF SHOCKED TO SEE THE MISS INTERPRETATION THAT IS CREATED BY HER STATUS SHARED RECENTLY.. ME AND HUMAIMA HAVE BEEN GOOD FRIENDS EVEN AFTER OUR DIVORCE AND ALWAYS RESPECTED EACHOTHER IN GENERAL, AND IN PUBLIC PLACES.. EVEN JOKED ABOUT THINGS WE SHARED IN THE PAST..

He further added:

HUMAIMA HAS NOW MASHALLAH GROWN INTO A BIG NAME IN THIS COUNTRY AND ABROAD AND I ALWAYS FELT GOOD TO SEE THAT SHE IS NOW HAPPY DOING WHAT SHE WANTED WHILE MAKING HER NAME IN THE INDUSTRY, SHE WAS MY WIFE NOT A GIRL FRIEND SHE WAS IN MY NIKAH SO I ALWAYS RESPECTED HER AND HER FAMILY AND HAD GREAT MOMENTS WITH THEM..

He also claimed that they never hurt each other and wrote:

NOW THIS CONFUSION IS REALLY CONCERNING BECAUSE ITS BEEN MORE THAN 5 YEARS WE PARTED AWAY FROM EACHOTHERS LIVES AND YES EVERY COUPLE HAVE THEIR OWN VIEWS ABOUT HOW TO WORK AND MAKE A NAME AND MONEY IN THE PROCESS.. MAY BE WE DIDN’T AGREE ON FEW POINTS AND ARGUED A FEW TIMES.. BUT IT DOESN’T MEAN WE EVER WANTED TO HURT EACHOTHER TO THAT EXTEND..ONCE WE PARTED AWAY SHE HAD THE ENTIRE WORLD TO CONQUER AND I KNEW SHE WILL, I ALWAYS THOT MAY BE I WAS NOT GOOD ENUFF FOR HER CAREER, THO I TRIED TO HELP AS MUCH AS I COULD.. AND ALWAYS HOPED SHE GETS MARRIED TO THE PERSON THAT IS BETTER FOR HER.

#MeToo : Famous Comedian Compares Ukhano with Junaid Akram

ukhano junaid akram

We’re not completely sure about the monsoon season but it seems that the expose season has arrived once again!

From Ukhano to Mohsin Abbas Haider to Imam ul Haq to perhaps even the young, 19 year old Shaheen Afridi, the internet is not in the mood to forgive anyone.

Jami Lashes Out at Celebrities Supporting Mohsin Abbas Haider’s Wife!

When Mohsin Abas Haider’s wife finally spoke up about her story, we thought perhaps attention would be taken away from the Ukhano case and the cute YouTuber would get some relief.

However, Ukhano decided to make video upon video to clarify his stance, and that made sure the netizens continued to make him the talk of the town.

The number of testimonials about Ukhano are many and perhaps even sufficient to help us understand that he might actually be the one at fault.

While people like Mooroo spoke in favour of Ukhano, culprits and a number of influencers and Youtubers that Ukhano has rubbed shoulders with, condemned him and his obnoxious actions.

Yesterday, popular writer and comedian, Shehzad Ghias took to Twitter to express his disdain on the Ukhano case.

While admitting that Ukhano has been horrible and cunning with women, Ghias was of the opinion that he had expected nothing less as a smart response from Ukhano. In doing so,  he also compared Ukhano with Junaid Akram, saying that he had followed in the same steps.

Here is exactly what he had to say.

Do you think what he’s saying about Ukhano might be correct in saying the following:

“he has definitely taken a leaf out of his book by going down the ‘screenshots were consensual’ route.”
