12 Pakistani Celebrities Transformed Into Superheroes

pakistani-actors-as-superheroes-lead

You may have seen some random images floating around on social media recently of some well-known Pakistani celebrities morphed into Superheroes. These have been made by a local youth magazine by the name of Blah.

Here’s the backstory in their own words: So, Team blah recently got embroiled in a heated discussion about the lack of Desi Superheroes, and naturally from that our conversation moved on to what if some of our more popular Hollywood superheroes were played by none other than our Desi celebrities.

superpowered-pakistan

Our Brilliant graphic artists took a swig of coffee and got to work!

What resulted is SUPER POWERED PAKISTAN!!!

Without further Ado, let me present to you, SUPER-POWERED PAKISTAN.

1. Ali Zafar As Nightwing

“Channo Ki Aankh Pay Mask Laga Hai !”

ali-nightwing

I think Ali Zafar should quit everything else he’s working on and try for the role because even on a photoshopped image he’s totally on point as Nightwing.

2. Fawad Khan as Dr. Strange

“Chahey Kuch Bhi Hojaey Mai Rahunga, Chahey Reality Tham Jaye Mai Rahunga… !!”

fawad-strange

So, I have heard some of my female friends say Fawad khan is charming, (I wouldn’t know I don’t watch much of his stuff) but I have to admit as doctor strange he literally has the power to charm anyone 😀

3. Humayun Saeed as Iron Man

“Jawaan, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist”

humayun-ironman

Although if you ask me Humanyn Saeed doesn’t completely fill the shoes of Robert Downey Junior, there’s no other celebrity in Pakistan who could fill this role better in my humble opinion.

4. Imran Abbas as Captain America

DO YOU NEED FREEDOM?

imran-abbas-as-captain-america

Causing ovaries to explode since he was a teenager, Imran Abbas certainly looks like he could play the part of the of the iconic marvel superhero Captain America, the question i find myself asking is if he would have that same commanding aura.

5. Mahira Khan as Scarlet Witch

She has SPECIAL POWERS… *Wink Wink*

mahira-khan-as-scarlet-witch

So this image to me looks a lot like an indian movie poster, i would have liked to see much more details in this, but to be honest i really think mahira khan would totally be able to pull of the role of scarlet witch, even though she’s older i do believe she has the acting chops to take on Ultron.

Disney Princesses Re-Imagined as Pakistani Actresses

6. Mahnoor Baloch as Wonder Woman

No wonder she doesn’t age…
mahnoor-baloch-as-wonder-woman

This image is perfection, and i really think this finally answers the question of what Mahnoor baloch’s secret to eternal youth is, she’s an Amazonian warrior princess.

7. Mohib Mirza as Wolverine

Don’t mess with this guy…

mohib-mirza-as-wolverine

Ok, Just no ! i would have loved to see a more agressive face on this guy, perhaps then he would have been able to convince me that he’s fit to bear the legacy of Hugh Jackman.

8. Sajid Hassan as Nick Fury

Uncle ko ghussa aa raha hai…

sajid-hassan-as-nick-fury

This guy has the resting bitch face down !, like literally the level of resting bitch face in this one is over 9000, you can totally sense the commanding aura, the meticulous mind behind the eyepatch. this dude would totally make an awesome Nick Fury, although i do believe he would be a more serious and less humorous character.

9. Qurat ul Ain Baloch as Black Widow

Looks that kill…Voice that brings you back to life!

qb-as-black-widow

I’m on the fence about this one to be honest, it could be a trainwreck, or an amazing performance, i’m just trying to imagine a QBish Black Widow beating the crap out of innocent henchmen while singing in a high pitched falsetto.

10. Shaan Shahid as Batman

Better than Ben Affleck IMHO…

shaan-shahid-as-batman

There’s nothing else to say about this, this just works !! i mean it totally works, from the Bat Shaped Moonches to the gritty beard, it just WORKS !!!

11. Hamza Ali Abbasi as Superman

SUPER FATWAA…AWAYYYY!!!

hamza-ali-abbasi-as-superman

In addition to freeze breath, lazer eyes, solar flare explosions from the emblem, super speed and super strength, i believe this character will also have SUPER FATWA powers 😀

12. Chaiwala as Spiderman

Hamara web hamara chai ki tarah, KARAK…

chai-wala-as-spider-man

Yaar this is just adorable ! i don’t know if you have watched civil war or not, if you haven’t go check out the new superman in civil war, this chaiwalal is totally as innocent as he is ! i mean Marvel should totally have this guy cameo in a spider mask somewhere in the next spiderman homecoming movie.

So which one of these Pakistani actors is your favorite superhero?

5 Best Budget Phones By Samsung You Should Buy

budget phones and this brand

Some of the brands in the technological industry are the greatest ones ever. Their products are so impressive that people keep coming back for more. That is precisely how you know that a system works: the people love it! This is how we know that Samsung is one of the best brands to have ever touched this Earth. In light of that, let us inform you of some of the best budget phones that Samsung has to offer.

These smartphones are not only affordable, but they display such astonishing features. To be able to get this much accessibility in a lesser amount is quite an impressive accomplishment. We know that Samsung is a brand that usually deals with flagship smartphones. They are someone who is able to give Apple a tough time on the market. They tend to follow closely towards the trends that are in the world today. According to the trends, they introduce newer and newer features in the phones. Samsung might just be on its way to become a bigger titan on the market. Today, we take a look at their budget range.

1. Samsung A12:

This phone came out amidst the pandemic. To be able to release a smartphone in such conditions is interesting. That, in itself, is a huge accomplishment. While it is not a flagship one, it has a lot to offer in its range. It has a 6.5 inch screen, with a glass front side and plastic body. This can save it from a lot of falls. Additionally, it uses the Mediatek MT6765 chipset, which is not an obsolete one. It is quite recent and, combined with 64GB storage; it makes for a tough cookie.

The phone is available in four variants, going as high as 128GB storage and 6GB ram. If we talk about the camera capabilities, it has a quad array at the rear. With the main at 48mp, with ultra wide at 5, the phone is enormous! The rest of the two cameras are macro and depth. With a powerful 5000mah battery, the phone is worth Rs.26,000/-

2. Samsung A11:

While its successor came out in November 2020, this phone is from May 2020. However, being a little older does not mean it is any less in its capabilities. With a 6.4 inch screen and an 81% screen-to-body ratio, the phone is one impressive specimen. If we talk about the chipset, the phone uses an octa core processor, all topped off with Snapdragon 450. While this is quite old, it can still hold its own in battle. You cannot think of the phone heating up or slowing down.

The Samsung phone comes in three variants, with the highest one being 64GB storage and 3GB ram. The camera capability on the phone is a triple array the rear end. A 13mp main camera, followed by 5mp ultra wide and a 2mp depth sensor is what this phone’s photography is all about. Samsung A11 also has a 4000mah battery, so you can expect the smartphone to last more than a day. Its currently available at a price of Rs.19,000/-

3. Samsung A21:

This is what one may refer to as an optimal phone. It has quite a lot of features and does not fall short in a lot of areas. It also has a 6.5 inch screen alongside a plastic body. The chipset on the phone is Mediatek MT6765, which is quite a powerful one. It is neither too old nor too recent and still performs well. The variants on the phone are not available, and it has 32GB storage as well as 3GB ram. In today’s day and age, 3GB ram can handle quite a lot of processes at once.

While the camera array is not as high, with a main one of 16mp, followed by ultra wide, macro and depth, the results are still decent. The battery capacity is set at 4000mah, so you can keep playing those games for quite a lot of hours. With a fingerprint sensor on this phone, it is a good investment. Its price is currently set at Rs.34,000/-

4. Samsung A01:

This is one of the best budget phones on this list. While its functions are nowhere near flagship, it is a good buy in its price. It has a 5.7 inch screen with a Snapdragon 439 chipset. It is quite old but its not a complete obsolete one. In the price range that this is offered, the chipset can dish out a lot of power.

With two variants, the higher being 32GB storage and 2GB ram, the phone is an absolute titan on the lower budget side. With a 3000mah battery, the phone is worth Rs.16,000/-

5. Samsung A31:

This phone was also release during the time of a pandemic and has seen a lot of hard times. With a 6.4 inch body, this is a big phone. It is not only big, but also has a Mediatek MT6768 processor. It is a few generations ahead and powers the phone like nothing! With a 48 MP main camera, alongside a 5mp macro one, this phone is an absolute beast. It is one of the few phones with a good macro camera.

Additionally, the phone has a 5000mah battery, so you can easily last it past two days. With fast charging available, the phone is being sold at Rs.36,000/-

Asad Dalal MD Talking Point Shares The Secret Of His Success

Oftentimes, what you are supposed to be is not what you had imagined. Rather, is defined by your journey, your life events, and it is equally magical. Asad Dalal, Managing Director of Talking Point, is the epitome of that.

He says:

‘Wake up at 7am! You will be 2 hours ahead of everyone who does not.’

But is this his secret formula? Not so much. The formula is in his life events!

Plans that change

Wanting to be in the biggest think tanks (research firms) of Pakistan, he started his education in the field of Economics at Szabist University. But as life would have it, he got into the field of sales. Having to bring in clients for the company he was working at as well as looking at his father’s books business failing due to the advent of digital, he realised the importance of money. While the field of Sales would bot be the endgame, this realization was certainly a very important landmark in Asad’s career.

Joining Talking Point

The next chapter in the story started when Asad made the shift to a PR firm. He didn’t stay their for long but it smoothed the way leading towards Talking Point. In proving himself, he worked day in day out, despite getting married, losing his father only 3 months after that, and undergoing surgery; all in the same year. It was because of that that someone who joined as a Junior Media Executive, emerged as a founding member and Media Relations Manager. The promotion streak as anyone can see, did not stop at that.

The consecutive achievements that Asad has to his name at Talking Point come from his life’s learnings; how to bring clients on board, what strategies to employ to maintain clients, etc. In fact, Asad has come with his own golden points that he follows down to the T.

1) Always come up with story that connects with the consumer.

2) Pick relevant influencers to tell the story.

3) Don’t waste the brand’s money on quick fixes.

“Doing the same thing repeatedly and not coming up with newer, better ways of engaging with the media and consumers is a mistake many PR agencies have made in the past. You have to evolve and adapt to new ways of working. There is no second thought to it.”

Boiling it down!

So where Asad Dalal’s philosophy is concerned, it is being true; being true to your work. People want growth and by that it could mean financial growth or career growth, but that growth is only achievable if you are true to your work. When you are true to it, it gets seen. But making this absorb in the new generation is something Asad finds a challenge. The new generation is very spontaneous and looks for shortcuts.

Point is, Asad’s life is an example for a number of people but especially those who think shortcuts are the way to go. Because if you are true to you and to your work, slowly and gradually you will achieve big, just like the Managing Director at Talking Point.

First Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Unit To Be Installed In Islamabad

Electrical charging stations in Pakistan now

The world is moving swiftly towards the electric era. Whether you prefer combustion engine vehicles or electric ones, this is something that cannot be denied. Tesla is one of the front runners in the race towards this new era, and a lot of brands are joining in. It seems that Pakistan is about to have an electrical vehicle advancement too.

While we are relatively new towards automotive field, we are making considerable progress. So many new brands have entered into Pakistan, with some of them planning on vehicle assembling here. On most recent news, it seems that Volvo might just begin appearing in Pakistan, due to the Stellantis group deal. However, the news today is slightly different than those of specifically automobiles.

Electric vehicles and their stations

How Electric Works:

So let us dive into some of the basics of how electric vehicles work. Firstly, they have no engine block, because no combustion. Thus, they don’t have an exhaust pipe either. The vehicle runs on batteries, which are placed underneath the driver, within the chassis. Where combustion engines have horsepower, electric vehicles have electrical power or ‘Kilowatt’.

Now, what about fuel? The main reason electrical is moving forward is because fossil fuels are non renewable. One day, they will run out and all the combustion engines will be rendered useless. What the electric vehicles require is something to charge the batteries. Instead of gas stations, these cars use charging stations which can charge the vehicle in no time. In light of that, Pakistan is seeing a certain form of development.

A New Charging Station:

According to the sources, Tesla has confirmed that Pakistan has joined it’s electrical venture. The first fast charging unit, by Tesla, has been installed in Islamabad. Anyone with an electric vehicle, within the region, can just go up and charge their car. Charging is expected to take thirty minutes and will cost Rs.2500. This will give the car enough mileage to go 300kms.

While a single station may not seen like a huge deal, it’s prospects are enormous. Tesla has also stated that they are adding more stations in the country soon. In accordance to the same sources, Kharian and Multan are some of the next stops for charging station installations. We hope to see this happen in Karachi too!

Crossing Hurdles:

One of the main issues with converting to full electric is the lack of infrastructure. There are quite a lot of charging stations needed and it will take time before this can happen. In time, we may see a lot of gas stations being converted to electric charging ones. The world is moving fast and everyone wants to stay caught up to it.

Additionally, it seems that Pakistan has also made an oath. The country intends to make 30% of it’s vehicles electric by 2030. This is definitely a bold goal and must be supported on by everyone. We hope to see Pakistan among the front runners towards the age of electric.

Toyota Launches New Models With Autonomous Technology

Toyota new launches

If you are familiar with automotive brands, you must have heard of Toyota. There might not be a day passing by when a person does not come across a Toyota vehicle. It is not only an impressive one but it also offers a high range in terms of budget. Toyota has some of the biggest vehicle ranges of all time. It seems that Toyota has just revealed and launched two new models.

While the brand is certainly not the oldest ones, it is definitely one of the highest running ones. Have you ever seen a Land Cruiser and not imagine yourself driving down the road in one. That said, Toyota really is a brand that is made for the people. While their products can be, at times, expensive, they are extremely long running ones. Now, Toyota seems to have launched two new models. However, what is it about these models that are attracting the eye of the driver?

Lexus launch by Toyota

New Toyota Launches

It seems that two vehicles have been launched in Tokyo. The first is Lexus and the second is Mirai. You must be aware of the success that Lexus has had over the years. What makes these launches different is the technology that they house. According to the reports, they seem to have an extensive amount of driver-assist technology embedded deep within. This includes features like limiting the car in its lane, maintaining distance from other vehicles as well as changing lane under driver supervision. This type of technology can be narrowed down as level 2 vehicle autonomous tech.

The world is moving forward with a steady progress and this news definitely shows development. While the world is quite a lot of time away from level 5 autonomy, even level 4, Toyota has certainly made progress. While a lot of other brands are invested in EV and its correlating tech, Toyota is making bounds here too. It would not do to advance in one area of tech and not move in another. The world is slowly moving ahead and everyone wants to be a part of the approaching age.

Moving Ahead

This is a piece of news that deserves commendation. The brand is making steady bounds and there seems to be room for improvement as well. After all, we are always constantly improving. The head of Toyota’s research unit has also stated that they are looking forward to the EV based future. They also wish to see more technology being embedded within vehicles.

Apart from that, there are some vehicles lined up for released, from the company, within 2021. For now, let us bask in the information that advancements cannot and will not stop.

Pakistani Women Are Sharing What They Look For In A Guy

Guy

Coronavirus has wreaked havoc in our lives! We are in the middle of a pandemic and locked at home! The use of social media has increased significantly. People have been discussing all kinds of things on the internet. One such discussion was among Pakistani women, where they shared as to what personality traits they are looking for in a guy.

A twitter user from Lahore, Essa Hassan tweeted, “What do you ladies look for in a guy anyway? Other than looks”. Much to our surprise, the tweet caught the attention, and hundreds of women poured in responses.

We are glad to see that people have finally moved on from looks and are interested in traits that matter the most!

Is Nice voice important? We don’t think so! It is a plus point for sure

Maybe, but not all guys are decent and sophisticated

Some guys just need to go shoe shopping. We agree 100%

That is so true. As you grow older, the significance of looks merely dies

Respect is as essential as ENTERTAINMENT, ENTERTAINMENT, ENTERTAINMENT

While some interests can differ, music taste must be the same

It is true! You can tell how ambitious one is regarding their goals in life by the way they speak to others

Thank God, it is not dead

Having a personality of his own is so important

We can’t stress enough as to how vital hygiene is! It seriously is not cool to wear used socks

Polite guys are the best

Toxic masculinity is unbearable

Nobody likes fake people!

Much to our surprise, nobody said ‘Money.’ Material things might not be essential but they are a necessity. It is a difficult decision to choose the ‘one.’ Remember, you can’t get all personality traits as you require, so make choices as such that you are ready to give up certain things.

Have something to add? Let us know in the comment section below what personality traits you would like in a guy.

8 Pakistani Celebrities Who Rejected Bollywood Offers

Seemingly, Pakistani celebrities have cast a magical spell on Bollywood. Despite the cold war that erupts every now and then between Pakistan and India, our stars have truly outshined themselves and have effortlessly floored the audience of the neighboring nation.

While some of them sincerely made us proud, the rest got shamed due to dire controversies across the border. But amongst them are some famous luminaries who fancied the entertainment projects emerging in their own homeland. When Bollywood came calling on their doorstep with a whiff of an offer wrapped in gold, these celebrities said an outright NO to movies in India!

Check out the list of some of the leading stars from Pakistan who turned down Bollywood movies.

1. Shaan Shahid

shaan pakistani high paid actor

Topping the list is Pakistan’s prominent patriotic actor, the veteran Shaan Shahid. A staunch believer of the talent that thrives in his nation, the star does not shy away from condemning other celebrities who chose B-town over their own entertainment industry.

Shaan’s famous Bollywood refusal remains Amir Khan’s movie Ghajini in which he was asked to play a villainous avatar.

Last year, the actor revealed in an interview with The National, “I refused India once. When I read the role, I knew that they needed a new terrorist face and I said no. In Pakistan, I live in people’s hearts. That’s a huge responsibility. I cannot let them down.”

2. Hamza Ali Abbasi

The popular social media naysayer, Hamza Ali Abbasi is bound to be a prominent member of the “No Bollywood” team. When Meekal Zulfiqaar debuted in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar’s Baby, our Pyaray Afzal took to Facebook to expose that he was initially offered the role in the movie but turned it down as it had anti-Pakistani content.

3. Faisal Quraishi

Faisal Qureshi Ramadan Show

The evergreen favorite of Pakistan’s television industry, the versatile artist Faisal Quraishi has too been driving the “Anti-Bollywood” bandwagon for quite some time. Being the perfectionist he is, Faisal too has turned down a few movies offers from Bollywood.

In an exclusive interview to Brandsynario earlier this year, the humble hero divulged, “I’ve had 2-3 offers, but the scripts weren’t to my liking. I don’t want to disappoint my fans by doing that doesn’t live up to their expectation.”

“When I said I would not do bold scenes, they replied they could ‘cheat’, but even if they cheat a scene, the audience will think I have done it. So Bollywood is out of the question”, said Sanam Jung in an interview to Aurora magazine.

While Bazmee has been the mastermind behind comedy films like Singh is King, Ready and No Entry, Effendi did not even think twice turning down the Indian icon.

Hyundai Elantra Vs Proton Saga – A Friendly Comparison

Competition lies in every domain. It doesn’t matter which niche it is, progressing ones alongside competition. If there isn’t anyone to challenge your skill, you may not be motivated to polish and improve. Just like that, we have a comparison today between two automobiles. This is between the Proton Saga and Hyundai Elantra.

While we know of both companies, it is true that one is older than the other. It seems that both of them have come up with impress SUVs. Where the Proton X70 is rising fast in the market, the Hyundai Tucson is dominating too. They have impressive capabilities and immense features, leaving barely any room for compromise. However, today, we are looking at their sedan releases so let us dive into the details of those.

Automobile Comparison in two brands
Hyundai elantra and it's Comparison

Hyundai Elantra:

Hyundai Elantra seems like quite an impressive car, with comfortable seatings. It has a 5 person seating capacity with a trunk capacity of 407 litres. Additionally, the fuel tank on it can hold 50 litres. This is more than enough to go long distances on a single go, considering the average on the car is decent. The two engine variants you can expect to get here is either the 2.0 litre one or the 1.6 litre one.

It has a 6 speed automatic transmission, with modes like sports and eco. Additionally, the electric power steering makes driving a whole lot easier on the driver. However, it must be noted that the vehicle does not have an electronic hand brake. Rather, it employs old-school lever one. The current price of Hyundai Elantra is set at Rs.40 Lac. That seems like quite a hefty price tag.

Hyundai and Proton comparison

Proton Saga:

Now this is one of the fastest growing brands and they have released a sedan. If we talk about transmission, the Proton Saga has quite a lot of variants. These include automatic and manual both. All variants have a set capacity of 1.3 Litres, but the difference is in extra features. The automatic 1.3L Ace differs from the auto 1.3L standard. The manual variants have a 5 speed transmission whereas the automatic ones are a 4 speed CVT one. Here, it also boils down to preference as to which one the driver buys. Some people love automatic, while others prefer shifting.

It has a remote operated trunk alongside a fuel tank that holds 40 litre. The vehicle has a 5 person seating capacity, which means that it’s a vehicle fit for a family. It also has the signature Proton ‘infinite weave grill’, giving it a unique feel. This makes it stand quite apart from the counterparts of other brands. The price of Proton Saga is currently between Rs.20-24 Lac. This seems like quite a reasonable range and one that sticks well to a decent budget.

Proton and Hyundai vehicles

A Verdict:

While it is quite apparent that the Proton Saga is a good buy for its price, it also boils down to preference. There may be features of Elantra that people want to go for, rather than the Proton Saga. However, it can be seen that both of them are locked hand-in-hand, waiting to emerge victorious.

This Scene From A Pakistani Drama Is Making People Furious

pakistani drama

Twitter exploded today with a clip from a Pakistani drama called Oye Motti. So apparently, this is a show which has a new story in every episode. Numerous actors have appeared in it to date including Hajra Yamin. The idea behind the name is to address body shaming and the concept that exists in our society where anyone over a certain weight, we classify as fat or rather ‘motti’.

The clip that got viral was a teaser of episode nine of the show. Furqan Qureshi was a part of it and he was seeing challenging his fiance on their engagement saying he will break the engagement if, within a year, she doesn’t lose almost a hundred kg. That, in itself, is humiliating to the core.

Have a look and decide what you think about this:

Twitter was full of reactions to the clip.

But we did not want to make any assumptions because this could have been taken out of context or it could totally have been the drama putting a light on body shaming.

So we decided to watch the show and see for ourselves what was going on!

We found that the episode was already out so we proceeded to watch it. This episode at least was very problematic.

In the episode, as the clip had shown, the fiance made the girl fall in love with him, and then, during the engagement, he announced the challenge.

Truly heartbroken, the girl took on the challenge and with extreme diet and exercise, within a couple of months only, reduced more than 20 kg. At this time, she did meet her fiance who had the most non-respectful behavior towards her. But she did not mind that.

For the next few months, the harmful routine continued, and then one day, she fainted in her office. It is then the fiance revealed even more problematic details. So apparently, he had seen a girl in the hospital a year ago who was there for her checkup. He overhears that she has some medical problems.

When they leave, he enters the doctor’s office and enquires about the girl. And there, the doctor readily reveals personal information about the patient. I mean, what the hell???

And it is then he decides that he loves her so he will belittle her to encourage her weight loss plan.

The lesson out of this Pakistani drama is definitely not a good one!

I mean it is understandable that the goal was a good one and that the increasing weight of the girl was actually becoming harmful to her. But are we really going to trample on someone’s self-esteem, extract personal information from her doctor, and encourage the wrong way of weight loss?

And yes, the weight loss journey should be a healthy one. If someone is losing weight at this speed, the doctor at least should not be encouraging it. And if it’s important to lose weight, lose it healthily which she was not doing. Had she been losing weight in a healthy way, she would have never fainted.

Deep-Fried Water – New Bizarre Trend Goes Viral

Deep-Fried Water Bubble- New Bizarre Trend Goes Viral

Viral food trends on TikTok do not seem to stop, and the latest one could be the most bizarre one we have seen to date. The deep-fried water bubble trend is another latest hit on TikTok.

Converting water to an edible state with the help of gelatin. The gelatin will hold the water, fried with a batter made of egg, flour, and bread crumbs.

How Does The Water Bubble Forms?

Sodium Alginate is a salt that is dissolved in water. Now the calcium ions are dissolved in water to create a solution of calcium chloride. The two solutions will bond with each other by replacing the sodium and bonding with alginate. As a result, a water bubble is formed, which contains the water inside a thin membrane.

Deep frying the water bubbles can be very dangerous as water reacted with oil can result in an accident. Moreover, the taste of the fried water bubble is not even worthy enough to take a risk. The taste of the bubble, which forms calcium and alginate, is very salty and slimy.

Water Bubbles to Eliminate Plastic Bottles

The idea behind the bubbled water was originally introduced by the company Skipping rocking labs back in 2015 to minimize the plastic used for water bottles. However, the water bubble packaging name OOHo did not seek the light of the day. First, the bubbles are tiny and can not contain enough water. Secondly, the handling and transportation of delicate water bubbles would be difficult.

“The aim of Ooho! is to provide the convenience of plastic bottles while limiting the environmental impact,” the founders explained.

Azeem Khan Vs Yasir Hussain: Another Controversy In The Making

Yasir Hussain

When two controversial figures get together, what do we call it? Azeem Khan Vs Yasir Hussain, the start of yet another controversy.

Whenever you hear Yasir Hussain’s name come up, you just know that there will be an industry controversy that could involve Hania Amir or Nausheen Shah, or even Esra Bilgic. But while we take Yasir’s controversies as fun, when people from outside the industry try to stay relevant, we don’t like it.

Azeem Khan starts the controversy

So, Azeem Khan who probably is dating Saba Qamar, or not, decided to attack Yasir Hussain.

The captions read:

“Daari mouch rakhne se waqqi koi mard nahi banta, per yakeen manein, har guzartiwi cheez mai ungli karna bhi mardana adat nahi hai.
– Kabhi bahar Wale Ertugul mai maslay, Kabhi Bahar walon kai Pakistan mai ake kaam se maslay🙆
– Mardon ki sab se achi fitrat me ek fitrat yeah hai kai woh phopo wali harkatain nahi karte.
On a lighter note, I respect the people who supported without discrimination. However, a handful probably should enroll themselves in ethical classes to learn a thing or two on how to behave in society or we might have to send them back to school to learn basic “ETHICS”.
PEACE, mulk ka aasasa hain app, social media per shugal mela laga kar rakhein”

He ends with, “naam mat lena kisi ka, i’m talking “generally.” And while with this statement he tried to act all innocent, the way he has phrased his argument is very indicative of who he is talking about.

Post by Yasir Hussain

And considering Yasir Hussain’s post talks about ‘real men’, it is definitely a response to Yasir. Have a look at what he says:

“Apni maon behno betiyon aur BV ko rokny waly insecure hoty hain , mard nahi.”

But doesn’t this look like a cheap attempt at staying in the news? And doesn’t this look like a very meninist post; something we have been talking about sometime? So Saba, if you are still secretly dating him, you should definitely take a look at Azeem’s recent post.

Hira Mani Reveals What Her First Job & Salary Was!

Hira Mani is a celebrated actress in the Pakistani industry whose career has reached new heights this year. Her deliverance of a successful show like ‘Mere Pass Tum Ho’ has convinced people she is a force to be reckoned with.

Taking a Trip Down Memory Lane

She recently sat down with Asia Forum for one of the most exciting show. The show was going to be focused on all kinds of her ‘firsts’. In doing so, her fans have been struck by the revelation of Hira Mani’s first job and first salary. You’ll be pleasantly surprised and hopefully inspired by how far the star has come.

First Job

As her first job, Hira Mani worked at a parlour called ‘Aisha Beauty Salon’. Over there she used to work part-time, especially on chaand raats where she would put henna on customers. Didn’t we all actually grow up wanting this job though?

hira mani first job

This job used to give Hira Mani Rs.1500-2000 which she says, she would spend on the spot. Since it would be chaand raat where stalls and stalls of accessories block the roads, she would have no difficulty. She claimed she would spend her salary immediately on bangles!

Hira Mani as a Banker

If you’d believe it, after working as a henna artist, she worked as a banker too! As a banker Hira Mani earned approximately Rs.12000 per month although her exact occupation was not revealed. Who knew a celebrated actress could be a henna artist and a banker too!

hira mani first job

The best part about Hira Mani sharing this with the public was how she owned it. Many would scoff at her being a henna artist at the start, however, nothing deters this woman. She said, “yes, and I’m proud of it”.

Humble Beginnings

Nowadays, a toxic narrative has been created that right after graduation if one doesn’t land a job with a 6 figure salary, one has failed. As youth unemployment soars and brain drain sky-rockets in Pakistan, it is important for us to create a healthy discourse on beginnings!

Every success story usually starts with humble beginnings and Hira Mani’s career is an example of that. Had she been depressed since the days she worked at the salon, that “I’m not a successful actress” there is a high chance she would not be here today.

In short, setting realistic goals, being determined, humble and proud of your choices is the key!
