Ali Express can be a minefield for inexperienced shoppers. The Chinese e-commerce website has a host of useful products waiting for you, but it has just as many corrupt people waiting to get your money.
Here’s all you need to do to have a safe shopping experience.
1. Ali Express Offers Two Guarantees
AE offers two guarantees to make the shopping experience safe for its users.
There’s a full refund if you don’t receive your order or if the item does not show up. Even if it does not arrive within the timescale the seller specifies, you can apply for a full refund. You will get a full refund within 15 days.
A full or partial refund can be claimed if the item is not as described. Or, if your purchase differs significantly from what you expected, you have two options. You can either return the item for a full refund or keep the thing and receive a partial refund.
2. A Process for Dispute
On AE, the return process isn’t as easy as going and just pressing a button. An entire operation is involved, which can go sour most times. Here’s how the company helps you:
First, you get to contact the seller and raise your issue directly. If you have a complaint before the order has been completed, or more than 15 days after completion, this is the only option open to you.
If you’re still in the pre-completion stage and the seller refuses to cooperate, you have to wait until the order is closed. Then you can raise the issue with Ali Express. Unfortunately, if you’re beyond the 15-day mark and the seller refuses to cooperate, tough luck.
Second, if you’re within the 15 days and you’re not happy with the seller’s response, you can open a dispute ticket. This makes the process formal.
Third, if you’re unsatisfied with the formal discussions, you can escalate the issue to Ali Express. It will then act as a mediator between you and the seller to resolve.
3. Do Your Research
The most obvious way to check a seller’s authenticity is to see the feedback page. On any seller’s page, click the Feedback tab for a complete breakdown.
Each seller has a Positive Feedback percentage and Feedback Score. The Feedback Score is the sum of all ratings, converted into points. Four and five-star ratings are worth one point, three stars are worth zero, and one and two-star ratings deduct one point.
Further down the page, you can see star ratings sub-divided into Item as Described, Communication, and Shipping Speed. For each sub-category, you can see whether the seller in question is above or below the site average.
4. Shop With Your Mind, Not Your Heart
Being a shopper, some of the responsibility is on you to make sure your money does not get scammed. Be mindful of things that are odd and reason your purchases. For instance:
If the price is too reasonable to be true, it probably is. You can not possibly get a new iPhone at $10.
Please do not listen to the seller’s request to send them money to their account. If your transaction is being done outside of the site, the site will not cover for your damages.
Do not confirm delivery before receiving the order. Never say you’ve received an item before it’s in your possession, and you’ve thoroughly checked it for problems.

Abar-ul-Haq may have won hearts at some point but recently he has lost many. The singer got up on stage at PTI’s convention to celebrate its three years of performance. He criticised young mothers heavily but mothers won’t back down also. Here’s the debate being sparked.
What Did He Say?
The video is going viral because he sang Baby Shark song and it is indeed funny when he does that. Who doesn’t love Baby shark? Apparently, Abrar-ul-Haq does not. What people are forgetting when they share the video around is what he says before the song comes about.
Abrar-ul-Haq is basically severely criticising not only the mothers of today but especially young mothers. He says very nostalgically that when we were small our mother would recite the kalma to us to try and get us to sleep. “What does a mother do today? Hands the phone to the kid and blares “baby shark”,” says Abrar-ul-Haq.
This is indeed a gross generalisation on the part of the veteran singer. How many mothers has he seen doing that and has he ever asked why they resorted to it in the first place? To place some mothers at a moral high ground because they did thing A while the others become inferior because of thing B is wrong. Abrar-ul-Haq should mention how many eons ago he was a baby, a lot has changed since then.
Moreover, Abrar commenting on motherhood this way is also extremely sexist. Men have no idea the tough ordeal women go through when they raise a baby. Let’s be honest, in our society the mother practically raises the baby. Fathers are only there to play as many women themselves said.
Netizens/Mothers Get Triggered
The comments underneath this video of Abrar-ul-Haq are simply on fire. Young mothers, working mothers, housewife mothers are all standing in solidarity against this judgement by the singer. Judging mothers for how they raise their children is no longer either acceptable or tolerable. National and influential figures should be more responsible with their words. Here’s what mothers said:
There’s more where that came from and a sprinkle of humour:
Hopefully Abrar-ul-Haq can apologise for his irresponsible words before this shows other men that making fun of mothers is the new trend.

Sanam Chaudhry has made a huge announcement on her social media. The former Pakistani actress has changed the path of her life and shared it with her followers. Her Instagram’s latest post has more than one revelation in it, as you’ll find out!
Sanam Chaudhry’s Change of Heart
Chaudhry took to social media to announce she will be turning “towards Allah” completely. She posted a picture of a revelation in which women’s modesty is being discussed. The Quranic recommendation of women wearing Hijab is the central concept in the revelation which Sanam Chaudhry shared. This could also be her announcement to the world that she is now going to be taking a hijab/niqab.
Her caption is also witness to her change of heart. She wrote that she “got her answer from learning the Quran”. This is also an incredible news because the actress just announced that she has done Hifz of the Quran. That is no small feat, congratulations and kudos to her!
“Turning to Him”
Her caption also reads “and I turn to Him with all my heart” which is the core of the announcement. It appears now that Sanam Chaudhry has embraced her religion wholeheartedly, she may discontinue acting and also the way she updates her Instagram.
So far, no personal photos of her are on social media except for her wedding pictures. Her social media is full of miscellaneous and general photos of the other people she loves or other things. This shows she was already distanced from social media which will help her in her journey now.
It is not easy to give up the career one works for, however, when there is a change of heart, everything takes a new face. One realizes the answer they were working for just as Sanam Chaudhry did. Such people are truly lucky as they find the guiding light in their life and start abiding by it.
Sanam Chaudhry was indeed a stellar actress. She is known for her drama serials Aasmanon Pay Likha, Ghar Titli ka par, and various other projects including Bhool. She also bagged a nomination at the 3rd Hum Awards in the Best Soap Actress category for her role in Bhool. The actress then got married three years ago to a music artist, Samee Chohan.
Here’s wishing her the best of luck for her new path.

This year’s Olympics were not even out of the news yet when its medals started deteriorating. Two Chinese athletes have complained against their medals’ quality already declining and it begs the question: how much gold are the gold medals made of? Read the latest about it here:
The Athletes Facing The Issue
A Chinese athlete by the name of Zhu Xueying has complained about her medal. She won gold in the women’s trampolining during the games and she shared her medal’s declining quality on social media. Xueying complained that the medal is losing its shine and beginning to disintegrate. She shared an image on the Chinese social-media platform Weibo of the medal. It clearly showed that the material was “peeling” off.
Another Chinese athlete named Wang Shun is facing the same issue. He also reported that his medal was beginning to peel. The swimmer bagged gold in the 200-meter individual medley in this year’s Olympics. He added, he “dare not to pick at it anymore.”
How Did It Start Peeling Off?
Xueying was asked by many if her medal randomly started peeling off. To clarify that she said, “I didn’t mean to peel the thing off at first, I just discovered that there was a small mark on my medal.” She thought it to be a dirt mark and so she rubbed it with her finger. However, she “found that nothing changed.” Then Xueying “picked at it and the mark got bigger,” she told the Global Times.
What Were The Medals Made Of?
You won’t believe what the medals were made up of in a quest to be more sustainable and protect the planet. The medals awarded at this year’s games were made from recycled goods. Think electronic devices including cellphones! So yes, athletes are pretty much walking around with cellphones around their neck. Could this be the reason they’re peeling off?
The growing noise surrounding this issue also prompted the Olympics’ admin to say something. In response, the International Olympic Committee said that only the “protective film” is indeed coming off. They also added that this peeling does not affect the quality of the medal itself. “Even if you remove the coating, it does not directly affect the medals’ quality,” said the organizing committee. Quality aside, it is unfair for athletes to get a medal which can start looking patchy in days. What do you think?

Flaunting a stellar cast of Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, and Armeena Rana Khan, the much-hyped cinematic venture, Bin Roye was released last year in all its fervor and glory! The romantic-drama flick scored rather well at the box office, both nationally and internationally, becoming one of the top-grossing Pakistani movies; according to box office detail.com, Bin Roye grossed approximately 10.92 crores till the beginnign of the year 2016. Now, a year later, boasting the same cast but a much-more-refined plot, a drama version of the successful flick is all set to hit our TV screens.
To gather all the inside scoops and exclusive details on the upcoming project, Brandsynariohad a tête-à-tête with the reigning Queen of Hearts, Mahira Khan.
Not only did we get all the juicy details on the Bin Roye Drama, the starlet spilled her heart out about her thoughts and expectations from the theatrical adaptation of the movie, her professional choices, co-stars, and upcoming ventures in Pakistan.
Check out what Mahira Khan revealed about herself and Bin Roye in an exclusive interview with Brandsynario:
1. Bin Roye Movie Did not Live Up to Mahira’s Expectations
The starlet believes that the movie Bin Roye did not live up to her expectations- she believes it could have been an amazing family drama from the beginning.
Mahira Khan herself said; “I have read the Bin Roye novel 20 times, and as far as I am concerned, even though it was a huge hit, and internationally the film did phenomenally well, and I got a lot of love and great response, I still believe, Bin Roye could have been an amazing family drama.”
Watch Mahira Khan talk about Bin Roye movie here:
The actress believes in Farhat Ishtiaq’s writing and Momina Duraid’s vision, and therefore she had always thought the Bin Roye project is going to be huge! “I thought Bin Roye is going to be massive, but I always think that! I have this strong faith in whatever I do,” added Mahira.
Despite doing phenomenally well at the box office worldwide and reaping a massive amount locally, Bin Roye was unable to satiate the audiences fully, mainly due to a few loopholes and loose ends observed in the plot of the movie. Maybe it should have been a drama from the very beginning. What do you guys think?
2. Why Bin Roye Movie Is Being Turned into a Drama
While having a heart to heart with the raving beauty, she revealed why the cinematic version is being dramatized: “It was always going to be a drama and a film shot simultaneously,” said Mahira.
“The idea was debated a lot, in fact, initially, I said I cannot do it, but I didn’t think it would last this long- this was three years ago and I am sitting on Bin Roye’s set yet again ,” the actress said, smiling.
Based on the literary guru Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel, Bin Roye Aansoo, the HUM TV flick was directed by Shehzad Kashmiri and Momina Duraid with the intention of being aired as a drama series on television. The movie is now being adapted into a 20 episode drama serial, which will replace Udaari on HUM TV.
3. Bin Roye Drama Will be Better than Bin Roye Movie
People who watched Bin Roye were slightly bewildered by its confusing plot line and how fast paced it was; there was a lot happening all at once- Irtiza’s (Humayun) marriage to Saman (Armeena) and her sudden demise- Irtiza’s 2nd marriage to Saba (Mahira) and his final confession about how he has always been in love with Saba (but married Saman instead?) there were some answered questions and definite need for improvements.
During her conversation, Mahira Khan assured that Bin Roye’s drama will be a more polished and improved version of the movie. However, she said that we can definitely not label Bin Roye movie as a ‘drama’ since the movie had it’s own unique standing while the drama will have it’s own special place- she called Bin Roye movie, a piece of art.
“We are still grappling at the idea of movies, and I will never agree with someone who says that Bin Roye was not a movie but a drama, No. I think it was a piece of art. Because we know how much hard work and time we had put into it,” said the Humsafar actress.
Watch Mahira’s response:
“Bin Roye had some amazing moments and it had the most beautiful soundtracks. It was a difficult film- it was a director less film mid-way and it still got a release and became one of the highest-grossing films, so I am proud of it! But there could have been improvements, as there were a lot of issues and shortsightedness for sure.”
Being turned into a drama will strengthen the plot and make the story more intense, understandable and relatable to the masses.
Mahira is pretty easy going, guys! She mostly likes whatever she sees and wants to appreciate hard work, but sometimes, she is extremely critical of her own work and acting skills.
Watch Mahira on the beautiful sets of Bin Roye Drama in an exclusive shot below:
“I like nearly everything I see, and then if I am critical, I can dislike everything I see. But mostly, I want to appreciate what I see; I mean I still see my previous work sometimes, and say Oh my God what have I done,” revealed the actress.
The ever so charming style diva is ecstatic to be a part of the booming entertainment industry of Pakistan. She believes in the revival of cinema and her most favorite Pakistani film from recent years is Na Maloom Afraad.
Picture Courtesy: Lux Style Awards Official Instagram Page
Yes, our gorgeous starlet is absolutely in love with Nabeel Qureshi’s entertainer flick! She believes the movie was a brilliant piece of work, flaunting the complete package of fun, emotions, drama and romance.
“I would say in the last two-three years, not including Khuda Ke Liye and Bol, even though they were the major contributors towards cinema revival and Khuda Ke Liye is one of my favorites, for me, Na Maloom Afraad was, Wow! I loved it. It was a total package. It was brilliant, it was funny, there were emotions and drama, spice and romance- for me that was really a perfect film.”
Well now we love Na Maloom Afraad even more, don’t we?
Did you know, Mahira Khan decided to do films right after doing Shehr-e-Zaat. Yes, our favorite actress had decided quite early on that she wanted to do films, when no one was even thinking of making films like now.
6. Regrets Saying ’No’ to Some Projects
In the candid conversation with Mahira Khan, team Brandsynario discussed the revival of Pakistani cinema that gave us hits like Jawaani Phir Nahi Ani and Manto and the actress regretfully exclaimed that there were so many movies that she couldn’t be a part of.
She even joked about one of the directors teasing her over “how she feels about clapping and singing praising for films that she had refused to do initially”– did she mean Jawani Phir Nahi Aani? or was it Moor the actress wanted to be a part of? We can only wonder.
7. SRK vs Humayun Saeed- The Better Co-Star
As we all know, the Humsafar actress who had charmed the cross-border audience with her extraordinary acting skills and innocent, eastern looks has starred in an upcoming Bollywood flick, Raees, alongside King Khan, SRK.
When asked whether Humayun was a better co-star or SRK, the actress shied away, smiled and said “That’s a tricky question. I am a HUGE Shah Rukh Khan fan. He is King. He is Amazing.”
Watch how Mahira Khan gushes over co-star SRK:
However, our darling starlet also told us how much closer she is to Humayun Saeed- “he has seen me grow” she said.
“He is an amazing co-star. If there is anyone you want to ask how I was when I was younger, he is the one. He was my first co-actor and truly knows how much I have grown as a person and as an actor.”
The two have shared some electrifying chemistry in Bin Roye and we just can’t wait for them to sizzle on the small screen once again.
8. Signed a Film That is Very Close to her Heart!
We’ll definitely be seeing more of Mahira Khan! Our favorite female Khan disclosed that she has already signed one film and is now deciding on another one with producer Momina Duraid.
“I am sitting here today with Momina and deciding on films. A very big day. I have signed one film and I am deciding on another one. The one film that I have signed is not with HUM Films but it’s a film very close to my heart, I don’t know why. It’s with people I have not worked with before and I hope it’s a risk worth taking.”
Something exciting is sure on our way! Well, we can never get tired of that pretty face and that heart-winning smile, can we?
There had been a lot of speculations related to Christiano Ronaldo recently. Everyone was asking questions as to which club he will go to. Up until a few hours ago, we came to know that he might go to Manchester City. He has had quite a distinguished journey and Juventus and Real Madrid before that. He started off at Manchester United when he was just a teenager. However, now it seems that the club’s star player is going to return.
In recent news, we have come to know that Ronaldo is returning to Manchester United on a two-year contract. It seemed that the famed player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, was in talks with Juventus officials on Thursday. Then, today at lunchtime, Manchester City confirmed that they were no longer interested in taking the player.
Later, we found out that Mendes had also had meetings with Manchester United. It then came to light that Juventus has agreed to transfer Ronaldo to Manchester United. A lot of fans could not have been more excited to hear this. After so much time, the player has finally returned to where he started, now an experienced footballer.
The deal has been signed over €20m plus €3m in bonuses. All of this also means being granted a visa and passing a medical test. Manchester City also stated their reluctance in going for the player due to him turning 37 in February.
A cup of tea can do wonders. Be it morning or night; it is an ultimate stress buster. However, green tea trends keep evolving as people attempt to shift to a healthy lifestyle. Green tea is not just tea. It’s a whole lifestyle, and while it offers some great benefits, many myths are attached to it. As a result, we are often confused about whether we should incorporate it into our routines or not. So, today let’s debunk all the myths and get some facts straight about green tea.
Gif Source: Giphy
But first, we will discuss why it is beneficial for our health.
Benefits Of Green Tea
Green tea is a staple in both China and Japan for decades. However, it was only in the last decade that we learned about its nutritional benefits for ourselves. It contains a vast amount of Catechins. It is an antioxidant that binds to free radicals while destroying them. As a result, the inflammation and cell damage are halted, one of the main reasons behind ongoing disease processes.
1. Cancers
Studies suggest that people who consume green tea are less likely to develop different types of cancers. The results are more successful in patients with no history of cancer since it has a preventive aspect rather than a cure.
2. Diabetes
It is known to reduce blood sugar levels and hence reduces the chance of Type 2 diabetes. It also increases insulin sensitivity. However, as with cancer, the studies are proven beneficial in prevention rather than cure.

3. Improved Brain Function
The core component of tea is caffeine. Caffeine blocks the chemical messengers in the brain, which results in increasing alertness and productivity. The amount of caffeine in green tea is minor than coffee, so that you can get the same benefits without irritable side effects.
A micronutrient called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is responsible for skin repair properties. Studies suggest that epigallocatechin gallate contains antioxidants that reduce sun damage and wrinkle formation.
5. Lower Cholesterol Levels
Catechins have natural antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory and anti-hypertensive effects. They help lower cholesterol levels by decreasing the absorption of cholesterol into the body.
Side Effects of Green Tea
Even though it is beneficial, excessive consumption can lead to various side effects and some of these include.
1. Heartburn, stomachache, and nausea
2. Excessive urination which can lead to dehydration
3. Sleep deprivation leading to insomnia
4. It can also cause skin conditions like allergy and eczema
Myths About Green Tea
1. It Is Healthier Than Black Tea
Both contain potent antioxidants. Green tea turns black after oxidation; hence the Catechins are converted into flavins present in black tea.
2. Green Tea Can Boost Metabolism
It can result in a faster metabolism pace, however, only with proper exercise and healthy food consumption. It gives you the energy to be productive or work out more, which results in increased metabolism.
3. It Helps To Get Rid Of Belly Fat
No studies have proven to reduce belly fat just with its consumption.
How Often Should You Drink It?
It is advised to take 3-4 cups a day to get the desired result from it. If taken in quantities more than that, it can lead to some undesirable effects. So, with green tea, adequate quantity is the key.

Neeraj Chopra won’t let media twist his words and create bad beef with Arshad Nadeem. The two sportsmen have been making rounds on social media after their competition at Olympics as Javelin throwers. However, this time, Neeraj is the voice of reason to which many may fall deaf.
The Initial Information
In a recent interview, Neeraj shared some information pertaining to Arshad Nadeem which was heavily misconstrued. He said that before the final match at this year’s Olympics, all the participants were practising their throws. While Neeraj was busy doing something else, Arshad Nadeem picked up Neeraj’s javelin and started practising with it.
At one point, Neeraj could also not find his javelin since Arshad Nadeem was practising with it. This news made everyone question Arshad Nadeem’s intentions and his actions. Why was he not practising on his own? This news then spiralled out of control and made it appear as if Neeraj Chopra was badmouthing Arshad Nadeem. Considering the Indo-Pak backgrounds, the media was hungry to ruin their relationship.
However, Neeraj Chopra was not going to sit quietly while his words were misconstrued. In a video, he clarifies what he said and how it was misconstrued. He shared that everyone brings their own javelin but other players are allowed to use each other’s javelin for practice also. “That is a rule,” he said.
Moreover, he acknowledges that what he said was blown out of proportion and that Arshad Nadeem did not do anything wrong. However, the one thing he said that truly touched our hearts was about sportsmanship. He said, “sport encourages everyone to be together hence, don’t spread misinformation.” So well said! As a true sportsman, he knows sports is inclusive and promotes harmony which is what he’s asking for here too.
Arshad Nadeem from Pakistan and Neeraj Chopra from India are two of the best javelin throwers, as they proved at the Olympics. The two have also competed together at other tournaments. Hence, they have developed respect, liking and admiration for each other. Though Neeraj bagged the gold medal this year, he also said he admires Nadeem’s efforts.
The two have many pictures together and show that nothing is greater than sportsmanship. May there be more success for both of them in the future. Kudos to Neeraj Chopra for clarifying the air on a developing feud.

Most of our favorite Pakistani TV stars keep alternating between TV and film platforms. Not everyone is able to maintain the talent on each platform. But some of those stars are as elegant as ever regardless of the platform they are on. And now some of them are venturing or have already ventured into web series as well. Let’s take a look at some of those TV stars, shall we?
1. Sajal Aly
We all know and love her. We saw her act in projects ranging from Chup Raho to Gul e Rana and then in the beloved Yaqeen ka Safar. Sajal is known for her amazing acting skills, who will give her all to her projects. Her recent web series, “Dhoop ki Deewar” is set with the background of the seemingly unending conflict between Pakistan and India. The series portrays the view that war is never good and peace will always be better.
Wasn’t it just yesterday that Ahad got his iconic role in Yaqeen ka Safar? Who didn’t love the insanely handsome Dr. Asfandyar? Now, married to his Yaqeen ka Safar co-star, Sajal Aly, the legendary couple is starring together in the above-mentioned web series, “Dhoop ki Deewar.”
Madiha is a name known in all households of Pakistan. Famous for her roles, such as Heer and Dhani, she will always be highly regarded by many. Her most recent work Ishq Jalebi aired during Ramadan this year and immediately became the month’s highlight. Madiha’s contribution to the web series came in the form of “Ek jhooti love story.” The series follows two people who try to find their ideal partner by making fake profiles on social media.
If you haven’t watched O Rangreza, what are you even doing in life? Despite debuting in 2016, Bilal has been named ‘The Best Emerging Talent’ by the media, and we agree. Acting so good that we almost forget it is just acting. Bilal makes one immerse completely in the plot. He co-starred with Madiha Imam in the Web series “Ek Jhooti Love Story” Bilal plays the role of Sohail, who creates a fake profile on social media with the name, Nofil.
Our favorite and your favorite, how can we not mention this amazing star? She has acted in exceptional dramas from “Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan” to “Matta e Jaan Hai Tu.” Just last year, she starred in a web series “Churails,” a bewitching story, pun intended, of course. To put it in a few words, the series follows four women who decide to covertly form an agency solely devoted to catching cheating husbands in action.
Yasra Rizvi is popular for doing many amazing works, including “Manto” and dramas like “Ustani Jee.” She is yet another household name and is known for portraying the roles of women in problematic situations. She worked alongside the previously mentioned Sarwat Gilani on the “Churails” project, another work centered around women. Yasra, in “Churails,” plays the role of Jugnu, who is in the top leadership of the agency.
Mehwish Hayat is an icon in her own right, known for roles in comedy films like “Actor in Law,” “Punjab Nahi Jaaongi,” and romance dramas like “Ru Baru” and “Dil Lagi.” A remarkable actress with insanely popular dramas and films, the actress played the main role in a web series “Ennaya” in 2019. The series follows Ennaya, aka Mehwish as a college student with a love for music which ends up getting into a college band, after which the drama ensues.
Check out the web series mentioned and tell us whether you liked them or loved them because there is no third option. Hopefully, more of our favorite TV stars will start signing web series.

NADRA has finally come up with a feature that’s going to keep Pakistani men in check and their wives at peace. This new feature has the ability to expose hidden marriages in your family. So if there’s anyone you have doubts on… keep reading!
The Qaumi Tasdeeq-o-Tajdeed Campaign
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a ‘Qaumi Tasdeeq-o-Tajdeed Campaign’. It is a new system made for the verification of family members. Through this mechanism, all family members will have transparency.
To find out if someone in your family or your own dear husband is married more than once, here’s what you need to do. Text his CNIC number and its date of issuance to 8009. This system of verification allows you to verify your family members. All you have to do is send their 13 digit CNIC number. However, there’s a catch. The message must be sent from their own registered number.
In short, a whole plan is going to have to be made to ensure you get your answers while they remain none the wiser.
How To Text
The format for texting is this: <13 digits CNIC No> Space <Issue Date>
Once you have sent the message in the correct format from the registered number, you will receive details of the family members. If you accidentally added something wrong, tap 1 to reform your mistake. A representative of NADRA will proceed to contact you from its helpline 051-2778009. However, if the information is correct, then reply with ‘2’ to confirm it and get the answers.
This Was Badly Needed
This was desperately needed in Pakistani society. It is the norm that men often have more than 1 wife. Aside from the one the public knows of, they keep the others, hidden. Women rarely find out and once they do, it is indeed too late to do anything. But now, you can easily find out whether your husband has been committing infidelity all this time or not.
Moreover, it is also the case that many children start investigating their parents. The investigations often confirm their doubts about having half-siblings. This will ensure that if anyone is legally Nikkah-fied, they can be exposed.

Pakistanis are making us proud regardless of which corner of the world they’re residing in. One such Pakistani woman, Zahab Kamal Khan, just set a Guinness record and that too for charity. Could there be something better? We doubt it!
Zahab Kamal Khan – Who Is She?
Zahab Kamal Khan is a Pakistani immigrant in Northern Virginia. However, there’s more to her than her nationalities. She used to play professional squash in Pakistan. She’s 30 years old and she just had her first haircut in 17 years.
She shifted to Virginia with her family almost a decade ago. Now, she’s making news headlines for something other than squash and you’re going to be shocked.
First Haircut In 17 Years
Zahab Kamal Khan said that when she was 13-years-old, her father suggested to her something. He said, perhaps she should stop cutting her hair and grow them out. Maybe she’ll be able to set a world record then! And a world record she did set indeed.

Zahab Kamal Khan had not cut her hair in 17 years. And incredibly enough, the Pakistani luscious hair genes came through. Her hair kept growing all these years and it was nowadays that she said goodbye to them. Her first chop in 17 years earned her a Guinness World Record title for ‘Most Hair Donated to a Charity By An Individual’.

Where Did The Hair Go?
This real-life Rapunzel donated 6 feet and 3 inches of hair for this haircut. It was broadcasted since this haircut alone set a Guinness world record. This chunk of hair will go to an organisation that makes wigs for children with hair loss due to cancer. There are many such organisations at work abroad though not many in Pakistan.

She said to the media, “I’m kind of nervous and excited to see my short hair, but I’m going to miss my hair.”
Initiating This in Pakistan
A Pakistanis, those children or elders in our society who suffer from diseases that hair loss could really benefit from the initiation of such organisations in Pakistan. Internationally, most parlours have a collaboration with such organisations. Every individual who gets their hair cut can have the option of donating their hour! Provided that hundreds of people get their hair cut in a day, imagine the number of people one can make happy!
Here’s to women like Zahab Kamal Khan who give up haircuts to make a record for charity. May she make more Guinness world records!

[Update: 27th August 2021]: In the recent update regarding the stuck Seaview ship, the ship was almost refloated twice. In the first attempt that happened on Tuesday this week, the ship was floated for almost 350 meters. Once the rescue team started rejoicing, the ship returned to the beach and got stuck to an all-new part.
The happiness of the re-flotation team trying to get the beached cargo ship Heng Tong 77 back to sea turned out to be short-lived on Tuesday as the ship, after successfully moving about 350 to 400 meters seaward, returned to get stuck again.https://t.co/rvq0ayyS4j
In the week’s second attempt, the ship was brought out into the sea for almost 150 meters. But the ropes that were tied to it, three of them snapped, and the floatation team lost control. The ship returned to its position.
Meanwhile Geo News headlines inform us that authorities have managed to refloat the ship stranded at Seaview “without any help from outside Pak.” By time the detailed news comes on a minute later, the rope has broken and the ship is apparently drifting back to the shore. 😐
It has now been announced that all the rescue operations for the ship will be ceased until September 8th. This is because the low tide is working against any rescue operations.
It is expected that in September the weather will change in favour. Up until then, the ship will probably stay as the hangout place for Pakistanis visiting the beach.
[July 29th, 2021]: While social media is a great way to stay up-to-date with information, at times, it leaves you speechless because of how the information gets modified and reused. In the past few days, you must have come across a photo, a video, or a news article about the ship stuck on Seaview, Karachi. People have even posed with the ship!
Ship Stuck on Seaview
Now, such a large ship being stranded on the beach is already dangerous but the Hong Kong based cargo ship ”MV Heng Tong 77” is even more dangerous because it has tonnes of oil in it. Moreover, if the oil were to spill, it would taint all of the beach as well as seep underground and into the water table. Not only that, but it would also mix with the water; killing the already lessening marine life.

Ad for sale
Seeing the silver lining in this grave situation is something a Pakistani can do easily. One Pakistani put the picture of the ship on OLX and Facebook with a price tag – just like you would to sell a car.
Detailing the ship
Let’s get down to the ship specifications!
100,000 cc
Running: 65,000 nautical mile
minor used by foreigners
smells a little bit
engine weak
AC working
Price: PKR 9,999,999
The cargo ship is also loaded with containers so the seller put that up as a plus point. He priced it at one rupee less than one crore.
Would you buy it?
Pakistanis and their sarcasm skills
Other netizens didn’t buy it either but they played along with the joke. In return to seeing a car ad for a ship, they too responded with questions similar to the ones you have for cars. The comments are surely hilarious.
They even joked about OLX and its famous line from the ad, ‘Sub bech day’ (Sell everything).
Who knows Pakistanis better than Pakistanis? And when the jokes are from our own behaviour patterns, they become all the more hilarious.
Hopefully, KPT and the ‘foreigner who used the ship briefly’ will solve the situation before some one actually buys the ship for PKR 9,999,999.

Mountain Dew has released a new flavour. For those who previously loved this drink, prepare to be excited and shocked. For those who have always hated it, prepare to lose your temper. Flamin’ hot is coming for you!
The New Flavour
Mountain Dew (nowadays referred to as “MTN DEW”) is a caffeinated, citrus-flavoured fizzy drink. It is owned by PepsiCo, the same brand that also owns Cheetos. Thus, combine Cheetos and MTN DEW, you get the flamin’ hot drink! People are confused as to what to call it? The company says the new flavour will be a combination of sweet and spicy.
However, we have a feeling it’ll taste a lot like regret. How can someone imagine drinking something spicy for fun? This reminds us of those times we’d make a concoction of weird things in the kitchen as a dare for a sibling. Only now, it’s a globally available drink, coming soon.
Mountain Dew’s History of Experimenting
The brand’s press manager said DEW has a history of experimenting with flavours. That is what keeps the spirit of the brand alive. They had the same philosophy in mind when they were working on FLAMIN’ HOT beverage.
The company itself also calls it their most “provocative beverage yet”. Moreover, they added, “we’re excited for DEW Nation to taste the unique blend of spicy and classic sweet citrus flavour.”
Even Mountain Dew doesn’t suit everyone’s flavour palette. How will this ever?
Internet Is Divided
Surely, not everyone is an experimental junkie when it comes to food flavours. Some like their plain Coke, Sprite, and Fanta! However, there are also those who would celebrate this news and count the days until they can drink it. These two types of people show how the internet is divided.
If the liquid form of a jar of spices being drained down your throat was not enough, there is also merch coming for it. MTN DEW has decided to push full throttle for the hype of this new drink. The clothing brand Broken Promises is creating a fashion collection to go with it. The collection will go live in September while the drink is coming out in four days.

PTV is all set to be revamped with a new series on Ghalib and the Mughal Emperor Babur in the making. The exciting series is being made as part of a collaboration with another country and the plan seems huge!
The New Series
The series, in the pipeline about our cultural history, is being produced in collaboration with Uzbekistan. So far, no further detail has been released about the series itself but we’re guessing it’s going to be based on their lives. It is so exciting to imagine the sets and to see Ghalib’s reinvention up close.
Fawad Chaudhry has also shared that the detailed series on the historical figures has kicked off its pre-production.
After being reappointed as the Minister for Information and Broadcasting in April, Fawad Chaudhry picked up a lot of unfinished business. Some reforms meant for national communications failed. Thus, in light of these reforms, he asserted that PTV will become a high-definition (HD) channel. This has been delayed since 2019!
He added, “PTV Sports will also become a high definition channel this year.” Chaudhry also called the revival of film and drama a “priority”. Most importantly, he promised loans for young filmmakers. Don’t forget if PTV News is already in the process of being reformed, the Sports and Entertainment segment will not be left behind. PTV as a whole is being updated.
Recently, a collaboration between Turkey and Pakistan for another series was all the buzz. It was revealed that Pakistan is all set to make a show on the life of Muslim ruler Salahuddin Ayubi. Due to the collaboration, it will be shot in Turkey and will have cast from both countries.
Doesn’t it sound epic already? We can’t wait to see this amazing series in the pipeline for Pakistan.
Future Plans and Funding
PTV’s Managing Director informed that the institution has increased its annual revenue to Rs11 billion. The annual expenditure, on the other hand, is now between Rs7 billion to Rs8 billion. The director also shared his hopes that the channel would become digitalised by December.
Unfortunately, the MD told that no investment had been made for the digitalisation of PTV in the last 15 years. He added that the company is trying to make PTV at par with international standards with a minimum budget. It’s tough indeed. However, their hope is to make PTV “the voice of the nation, internationally,” he shared.

Sohai Ali Abro recently graced the cover of People Magazine and the photoshoot for it was extraordinary. The actress is all glammed up and in her element in front of the lens, but are people really appreciating it?
The People Pakistan Cover
Sohai Ali Abro was dressed to the nines for the cover. One of her looks was a glam power blazer which more than suits her vibe. The makeup is kept to a minimum with her hair tied back in a messy ponytail. The shots with minimal lighting make her blazer dress pop even more!
The second picture is what nails it for us. The hair flip is extraordinary and so well-photographed. It’s just like the Sunsilk ad she stars in!
“God Has A Plan For Me”
It is a tradition that the cover girl or guy wears many looks and gets shot in all. Some get used for the cover while the others is graced in a feature. For Sohai Ali Abro’s other look she was in a pink kaftan. The power pose says it all!
The caption also sheds light on Abro’s beliefs. She says, “I am a firm believer of the fact that God has a plan for everyone. And you are going to get whatever is destined for you. You just need to stay focused, be honest, have faith, and stay true to yourself “.
Under Sohai Ali Abro’s own posted pictures, there are only good comments to find for lengths. Either her team deletes the negative ones or she has blocked trolls herself. Regardless, many loved the shoot and had only praised to offer.
On the other hand, where netizens found a free ground to troll, they made the most of it. Keyboard warriors felt it their duty to nitpick on everything and criticise it. Here’s the other side of the coin:

Sohai Ali Abro Opens Up About Her Husband
As part of her feature, she also opens up about her husband. The recently wed couple is all about support and honesty. “My husband has always been super proud and super supportive of my career, he’s truly progressive like that,” says Abro. She also says that “He’s been a part of my journey and has seen it all; the highs and the lows.” When she gets lazy or feels unlike herself, he’s the one pushing her to kill it at work!

Maulana Tariq Jameel has established quite a reputation for himself throughout his years of preaching. A lot of people love listening to his words and it is said that he has a gift. After much time spent, he has even gathered more than 5 million subscribers on YouTube and has recently launched his own clothing brand.
Speaking of Maulana Tariq Jameel, a video of him was released where he was seen meeting his doppelganger. Yes. That is right, he met someone who looked exactly like him. In the video, they stood face to face and one could not tell the difference between the two. That video has just resurfaced.
As you can already see in the video, the resemblance is uncanny. The two personalities can be seen facing each other and even talking. People around them seem quite excited to see how alike they look. It is quite interesting to note that such people can exist for anyone. You could have a doppelganger out there. Who knows, maybe you cross paths with them one day.
What is interesting is that the look-alike even wore similar clothing to Maulana Tariq Jameel. This makes it more difficult to distinguish between the two. The man can be seen wearing the white kurta. As we said, the event is not recent; it took place back in 2019. However, the video of the scholar resurfacing shows just how much mystery there is in this world.
