ICI Dulux Pakistan Innovative Visualizer App Packed with New Features

Dulux

ICI Dulux recently launched the new version of its Visualizer app for iOS and Android, called ‘Dulux Visualizer PK’. The app uses innovative technology to help consumers visualize, share and paint their rooms in their chosen colours in real time.

This is to help them have a better idea of what the Dulux colors will look like if the color is actually applied on the walls. Consumers can capture a video of their walls and experiment with hundreds of different colours. If they see a colour somewhere that inspires them, they can use the ingenious Colour Picker technology to instantly match and try it out.

Once they have found the colour they love consumers can buy their paint or find a store via the store locator function. Finally, they can share it with friends and family on social media to get a second opinion, directly through the Visualizer.

“Colour is the number one decision factor when consumers choose to paint,” said Usman Hafaz, Marketing Manager at AkzoNobel Pakistan Decorative Paints Division. “Selecting the right colour can be an exciting yet overwhelming challenge. The new features in the Visualizer now make this a fun, easy way to find the essential colour to make their living space more inspiring, and make the process more social at the same time.”

“We are constantly looking out to understand our consumer behavior and any emerging trends, innovations and technologies to help us stay ahead of the curve,” explained Usman Hafaz. “This helps us deliver products and colours that people want. The Visualizer is a tool designed to give consumers confidence to try new colours, quickly see the potential end result of their purchase, and share with friends to get their views.”

7 Times Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Movie Reminded Us of Old Karan Johar Movies

Did you watch the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser and felt a weird sense of deja vu? We did too! Famous for ripping off Hollywood movies, Bollywood, this time, has decided to rip some of its old, all-time favorites with the new Karan Johar movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Some of the scenes and even posters are a throwback to several of his films!

With some of the top actors of Bollywood Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma set to star in the upcoming film, never has excitement been more on the rise before.

Offical Poster

However, a teaser released by Karan Johar for his new film has got everyone thinking that maybe Bollywood had just had enough of ripping its more famous counterparts film and has decided to look in its own backyard for some “good old” stuff.

Here is a look at some of the uncanny resemblances between Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and other popular Karan Johar flicks.

1. Fight! Fight! Fight!

An Indian movie without a fight scene? Unacceptable. In Student of the Year we saw Varun and Sidharth fighting over Alia Bhatt and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil gave us another similar shot.

Sid-Varun-fight-1

Fawad fights Ranbir in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil- over Anushka I assume? SO cliched.

2. The famous turnaround

Rani Mukherjee did the famous back turn in the movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna & Ae Dil Hai Mushkil uses the Miss World 1994 to reenact the famous turnaround.

Have a look!

Both the ladies stun  in red and look uncannily similar.

3. The drag to the altar

Apart from the above-mentioned similarities, a scene in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil when Anushka drags Ranbir is very very similar to when Salman drags Kajol in the climax of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Salman-drags-Kajol-to-the-alter-1

While it is the other way round in ADHM, this scene is uncannily familiar. Check it out below!

Salman-drags-Kajol-to-the-alter-2

4. The heart-wrenching walk away

A Karan Johar movie with no heartbreaks? Nahhhhhhh.

Ranbir Kapoor once again walks away in tears in the trailer of his new film just as he did three years ago in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani .

Who do you think left him this time? Or did he leave Anushka just like he left Deepika in YJHD? Well we would have to wait to find out.

5. The blanket Snuggle

While we totally swooned over the adorable duo Deepika and Ranbir snuggling away in the snow in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Anushka and Ranbir gave us relationship goals in this scene from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Check them out below:

Deepika and Ranbit Snuggling in Yeh Jawani and Deewani

Anushka and Ranbir snuggling in a blanket in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

 6. The running away scene

I know we all are a fan of King Khan’s many runny away scenes, but this particular one in Kal Ho Na Ho, remains everyone’s favorite till yet.

Lucky for us, seems like Ranbir Kapoor re-enacted the entire scene in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

7. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil vs Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Poster

This poster picture of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Ranbir and Anusha looks freakishly similar to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s poster, featuring Deepika and Ranbir. We expected more originality, Karan!

Check out the entire trailer below!

Bonus

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil vs Veer Zaara Poster

Possibly one of the most important parts of attracting the crowd to a new movie is an astounding theatrical poster. Even though not a Karan Johar flick, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil poster looks straight off a cover of Yash Chopra’s Veer Zara.

Hamza-Ali-Abbasi-lead

Known for his dazzling looks and controversial social media updates, Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has never feared to speak his mind and therefore has always managed to stay in the spotlight.

Here are 5 times Hamza Ali Abbasi was totally bold and fearless making him land into legal trouble, and become the center of controversies.

Hamza-Ali-Abbasi

 1. Served Legal Notice by PML-N for Spreading False Rumours about Punjab Kidnapping

The daring actor has come under fire once again as the Punjab government served him a legal notice for spreading “false rumors”. In a post, updated on Facebook late last night, the actor revealed that he had been served a notice for spreading rumors about the recent wave of child kidnappings taking place in the province of Punjab.

In his facebook post on August 3rd Hamza wrote that more than 900 children are kidnapped from Punjab with 400 from Lahore alone.

Read his recent social media post below:

Hamza Ali

According to the notice, the number of missing children quoted by Hamza is incorrect and is “less than one third that you (Hamza) reported”.

The notice further added that Hamza’s post, “was exaggerated and it created a sense of insecurity in the general public”. This was not the first time the actor has come into the limelight for his social media updates.

Read what the Mann Mayal actor wrote on August 12th, SAMAA TV reports:

“Blasts spilling innocent blood, Children being kidnapped for their organs, new born babies being kidnapped and replaced by dead babies, working women being randomly stabbed and the assailant said the motive was “for fun”, the dark times getting darker for my beloved Pakistan as the politicians continue to fill their bank accounts.”

Whether it’s about taking a stand for the Ahmadis or speaking against item songs in Pakistani movies, Hamza has never feared speaking up against any topic deemed controversial by the society.

Twitterati seemed to stand by Hamza’s side and totally supported him:

2. When Hamza Raised his voice for the Ahmedis & got Banned by PEMRA

During Ramadan, Hamza was banned by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) from hosting his Ramadan show on Aaj TV, after receiving complaints about the show airing offensive content.

Watch video:

Soon after the notice by PEMRA was issued, the host Hamza Ali Abbasi wrote the following message on his Facebook account.

Hamza Ali Abbas has made headlines again after his Facebook account was deactivated when he posted about the martyred Kashmiri freedom fighter, Burhan Wani and their struggle for peace.hamza-ali-abbasi-kashmir-issue

This was the 2nd time Facebook suspended Hamza’s account for not falling under ‘Facebook Community Guideline’.

4. When Facebook took down his Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris post & then Apologised

Hamza had posted about  Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris but it was taken down even though Facebook did issue an apology later on- they quoted it as an ‘accidental mistake’.

Read Hamza’s status that was removed by Facebook below:

5. Legal Notice Controversy with the News International

Back in April this year, Hamza Ali Abbasi decided to sue a local newspaper, the News International for publishing a false story and wrongfully quoting him.

He claimed that the newspaper has falsely quoted him about comments on his fellow celebrities, namely Maya Ali, Junaid Jamshed and Fawad Khan.

Every day, thousands of Lahoris use Uber to get across the city. We’re committed to making Uber the most affordable, safer and reliable option to move around and our experience shows us we can make that happen while making Uber the best possible platform for driver-partners to earn a living.

Old fares vs New fares
