The reason being is once again the rupee devaluation, which has caused a massive dent in production costs and the demand for cars has also seen and up and down in sales.

This is the third time in the past 7 months when Honda, along with other automotive manufacturers have increased the prices for their vehicles.

“The price increase by Honda was expected as PSMC (Suzuki) and IMC (Toyota) have already increased their price for the third time to pass on impact of the rupee devaluation,” -Farheen Irfan, analyst at Elixir Securities

‘Slow But Sure’ Progress Toward Less Toxic Tools to Fight Cancer

Nissan & Italdesign Unveil GT-R50

This is the first time the famous Italian design company has worked with Nissan and looking at what they’ve managed to produce they should perhaps be encouraged to work together more often.

Compared to a regular GT-R, the GT-R50 has a lower nose and roof and wider wings, which help to make it one of the most aggressive-looking GT-Rs ever produced.

As well as looking the part, the car also has the performance to back up the stunning styling. The 3.8-liter V-6 engine has been given the huge turbos from the GT3-class racing car, as well as larger intercoolers, higher-performance cams and upgraded pistons, rods, bearings and crankshaft. All these enhancements mean the car produces a massive 710 horsepower and 575 lb.-ft. of torque, which is 110 horsepower and 94 lb.-ft. more than a standard GT-R Nismo.

To cope with all the extra power, the differentials and axles have been strengthened to make sure nothing breaks when launching, and Brembo six-piston brakes are on the front wheels with four-piston units at the back to stop the car while a Bilstein active suspension helps with cornering.

The interior has also been given the anniversary treatment to make it as special as the Italdesign exterior styling. Nissan’s American and London design teams have produced a cabin awash with carbon fiber and Alcantara, as well as plenty of gold accents to tie in with the gold elements on the outside of the car.

If you want to get your hands on a GT-R50 you’ll be disappointed to learn there are no plans to put this car into production, and Nissan also insists this is definitely not a preview of a next-generation GT-R either. It looks as though this will be a one-off special celebration of the 50th anniversaries of the model and the design company.

Selena Gomez Stars in Dreamy New Coach Campaign

The singer and actress has reprised her role as ambassador for the US luxury heritage brand, starring in its new Fall/Winter 2018 campaign, alongside the label’s new “Dreamer” handbag.

The star, who was captured by fashion photographer Steven Meisel for the ads, models a whimsical lace top, bohemian jewelry and a carefree, tousled hairstyle that corresponds with the bag’s moniker. Fellow brand ambassadors Kiko Mizuhara, Guan Xiaotong and Timmy Xu will also feature in the campaign, reports WWD.

“I love the way that we have pushed the Coach gang further this season to be more unique, diverse and just overall cool in their attitude,” the brand’s Creative Director Stuart Vevers told WWD. “It’s how I see people here in New York enjoying wearing clothes and just feels really relevant to me.”

The new campaign is the latest in a string of collaborations between Coach and Gomez, who has been designing a ready-to-wear collection with the label that is set to launch this fall. The series, which spans outerwear, ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories, was reportedly created with Vevers, but inspired by the star’s own personal style.

Last year also saw her lend her creative eye to the brand, with the production of a “Selena Grace” handbag and a series of leather goods. Since she was first unveiled as a Coach ambassador back in 2016, Gomez has also fronted multiple campaigns for the brand, juggling the role with her position as one of the faces of the sportswear giant Puma.

Sanju Movie: 5 Silly Mistakes We Bet You Didn’t Notice in the Movie!

The much-awaited Bollywood film, ‘Sanju’ released over the weekend to a smashing response!

Fans of both Ranbir and Sanju Baba can’t get enough of the amazing story and the mind-blowing acting of Kapoor in the film.

With an intense story-line that keeps you glued to your seat, we are sure that the gripping story would have made you overlook a few mistakes!

5 Reasons Why Sanju Should Not Be Missed!

 Check them out below!

Mistake #1

Usually, when a gun is fired, the smoke comes out from the front of the barrel. However, in ‘Sanju’ when the baddie of the film fires the gun, the smoke is coming from his sleeve!

Mistake #2

One of the funniest scenes in the movie, this one too contained a blooper that many overlooked! Notice how in the first frame, Ranbir has a cigarette in his mouth, yet when he turns around, the cigarette is gone!

Mistake #3

Here’s another one: the coat.

In the same scene where Sonam is hysterically asking Ranbir for her mangalsutra, notice how the coat is placed in between the two curtains. Yet in the next moment, that same coat has shifted on its own!

Mistake #4

In a scene where Ranbir is banging his head against the prison bars, he hurts his head at that one spot. But in the next scene where he is at the hospital, he is shown to have several cuts on his forehead!

Mistake #5

Now here’s a big one! In the first half of the picture, we see Ranbir coming down the steps of the airplane – notice how there is no shadow behind him.

Yet in the second half of the picture, you see other passengers coming down BUT there are shadows behind them! Weird right?

So how many of these mistakes had you noticed when you saw the movie? Tell us in the comments.

Five More Beaten to Death Over WhatsApp Hoax!

Indian police said Monday they have arrested 23 people after five men were bludgeoned to death by a crazed mob in yet another horrific lynching to rock the country.

Local media estimate more than 25 people have been killed in recent months in similar cases sparked by false rumours spread on smartphones of child kidnapping or allegations of thievery or sexual harassment.

The latest incident saw eight men set upon in Dhule district, 330 kilometres (205 miles) from India’s financial capital Mumbai in the western state of Maharashtra on Sunday.

Police said the attack began after locals spotted one of the eight talking to a child after they disembarked from a bus near the village of Rainpada.

“They were confronted by the locals who had gathered at the Sunday market after suspecting them to be child kidnappers,” Dhule police chief M Ramkumar told AFP.

Three of them escaped but five were dragged to the village council office and beaten to death with sticks and blunt objects.

Police said they identified the alleged attackers from a video shot during the assault. Another dozen suspects were still on the run, they added.

Those killed were from Solapur district of the same state but some 450 kilometres away.

The current spate of lynchings started in May last year in eastern Jharkhand state after rumours on WhatsApp about child kidnappers led to the lynching of six men.

The rumours have since resurfaced, with attacks reported in at least 11 states.

The attacks — usually targeting outsiders — have left authorities scrambling to mount an effective response, with awareness campaigns and public alerts having a limited effect.

Last week a “rumour buster” official tasked with alerting the public to such hoaxes was lynched by a mob in the remote northeastern state of Tripura.

Karachi’s Famous Ice-cream Parlor Iceberg Controversy Creates Uproar!

Karachiites woke up over the weekend to find that their favorite ice-cream shop was being sealed shut by the food authorities!

Fans of the Ice Berg ice-cream parlor were shocked by the revelation that the much-loved eatery had been putting foam in their ice-creams without a care in the world for their health and safety!

A video was making rounds on social media, showing Food inspectors raiding the parlor!

Patari Makes it to the Headlines for all the Wrong Reasons AGAIN!

However before matters could get out of hand, it was revealed that the whole thing had been nothing but a misunderstanding!

Needless to say that fans were outraged over this bit of news and were seen expressing their shock on social media.

However, it turned out that it was all a big misunderstanding!

In fact, the same food authority department, later on, unsealed the shop and it was open once again for business, serving happy customers with their favorite ice-creams.

Turns out that the department had received wrong information and later in the day, unsealed the Ice Berg ice-cream themselves.

This is not the first time an eatery has been sealed due to lack of health standards followed by the restaurant.

In a recent controversy, Butler’s Chocolate Cafe had also faced the wrath of the food authorities and the public after a customer’s post went viral on Facebook. The foodie had shared pictures of the restaurant drying their serving trays in the washroom!

Suzuki Mehran Wins ‘Best Car’ Title in Pakistan!

Federer, Serena Lead Wimbledon Against World Cup

Roger Federer and Serena Williams bring the curtain up on Wimbledon Monday with the All England Club confident their tournament can comfortably capture the imagination of a public distracted by the World Cup.

Federer, the record eight-time champion, opens proceedings on Centre Court against Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic.

Williams, meanwhile, has been shunted off to Court One where she tackles Dutch outsider Arantxa Rus.

The American returns to the tournament for the first time since claiming a seventh title in 2016 having missed last year to give birth to her daughter.

“I think it remains a little bit nerve-wracking. It’s a big deal,” said Federer on returning to Centre Court and who is marking the 15th anniversary of his first Wimbledon title in 2003.

“Besides the history and the mythical place that it is, you cannot also practice on it.

“The entire atmosphere changes at Wimbledon, and you realise the eyes are on you.”

World number 57 Lajovic will know what to expect — the Serb was beaten by Federer in straight sets in the second round of Wimbledon in 2017.

Federer is the overwhelming favourite to lift a ninth title and 21st career major especially with old rival Rafael Nadal, fresh from an 11th French Open, not having played a grass court warm-up event.

The 36-year-old Swiss star’s odds also improved when two-time champion Ansy Murray withdrew on Sunday with injury.

Three-time winner Novak Djokovic, meanwhile, is still struggling with form and confidence so badly bruised by the elbow injury he suffered at Wimbledon 12 months ago.

However, even Federer cannot escape the giant shadow cast on the sporting landscape by the ongoing World Cup.

He was even dragged into a discussion on Sunday over whether or not he and Nadal — 10 years after their epic All England Club final — could be likened to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Sure, yeah. They have a long-standing rivalry. I have the same with Rafa,” Federer said.

“They’re very different from one another. I guess there’s some similarities there as well.”

The All England Club will stick to its policy of refusing to show World Cup matches on its giant screen adjacent to Court One.

The men’s final, meanwhile, will still start at 2pm local time as scheduled on Sunday, July 15 — just two hours before the World Cup final kicks off in Moscow.

Williams, seeded 25 this year despite a ranking of 181, has never played Rus, the world 107 who made the third round in 2012 but failed to get out of qualifying on her last three visits.

Monday’s other Centre Court matches see Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki face Varvara Lepchenko of the United States.

Bulgarian sixth seed Grigor Dimitrov, a semi-finalist in 2014, completes the programme against three-time major winner Stan Wawrinka.

Also getting their campaigns underway on Monday are five-time women’s champion Venus Williams against Johanna Larsson.

Third-seeded Marin Cilic, the runner-up to Federer in 2017 and this year’s Queen’s champion, takes on Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka.

Singer Jawad Ahmed Gets Trolled for His Twitter Rant Against Bilawal Bhutto

Popular Pakistani singer Jawad Ahmed is all set to kickstart his career in politics by contesting elections against Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto and Shahbaz Sharif.

Back in 2017, the singer formed the “Barabri Party Pakistan’ for middle and working class, youth, oppressed and deprived segments of the population.

With the upcoming General Elections 2018 just days away, the crooner is using social media to promote his party’s manifesto.

In his latest tweet, Jawwad took a dig at Bilawal Bhutto and accused the politician of using  ‘fear, power, and money’ against the singer.

Contesting elections from Lyari’s NA-24, Jawwad revealed how Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman has forcefully imposed his authority in the town.

For those who are unaware, Lyari is considered as a strong hub of PPP crusaders and the singer is bound to face a challenge while standing up for elections in the area.

Twitterati was quick to remind him that he should have been prepared for such an opposition.

PPP supporters trolled him for speaking against their leader!

People even accused him of lying and using false claim’s to gain attention.

Keyboard warriors suggested that he should just stick to singing!

Nobody took his Twitter tirade seriously!

In fact, his followers schooled him for ranting and whining on social media.

Meanwhile, in a shocking turn of events, Bilawal Bhutto faced the wrath of Lyari residents last night during his electoral campaign in the area.

Upon his arrival, angry protestors in Bihar Colony pelted him with stones and attacked his rally, leaving a couple of people injured and vehicles damaged.

Chants of ‘Go Bilawal Go’ permeated the air and the political left the area as soon as the protest gained momentum.

Neymar’s Brazil, Belgium Target World Cup Quarters After Spain Bow Out

Brazil will look to keep their bid for a record sixth World Cup crown on track when they face Mexico on Monday with a quarter-final place at stake after seeing Spain join the list of contenders to be eliminated.

Monday’s other last-16 game sees a much-fancied Belgium take on a Japan side who are dreaming of reaching the quarters for the first time after scraping through their group thanks to their fair-play record.

While Neymar’s Brazil, and a Belgian outfit inspired by Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, are both expected to advance, events of the weekend have shown that nothing can be taken for granted.

Spain, the 2010 winners, were stunned on Sunday as they lost on penalties to Russia in Moscow, with Igor Akinfeev the hero for the hosts, saving two spot-kicks.

Russia won 4-3 in the shoot-out after the tie ended 1-1 at the Luzhniki Stadium, and will now play Croatia in the last eight.

Croatia also won on penalties, defeating Denmark 3-2 in the shoot-out following another 1-1 draw, with Luka Modric having a spot-kick saved late in extra time.

They look like serious contenders, while for Spain their elimination is a disaster — they had been considered among the favourites but had their preparations ruined when coach Julen Lopetegui was sensationally sacked on the eve of the tournament.

They join 2014 winners Germany, Argentina and European champions Portugal in being knocked out of a competition for which neither Italy nor the Netherlands — two of the great World Cup names — even qualified.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the two great individuals of the last decade, have gone home, their hopes of ever winning the World Cup probably over.

But Neymar is still dreaming of leading Brazil to glory, and his side take on Mexico in the Volga river port city of Samara (1400 GMT). Coach Tite insists his talisman is now approaching his best form again, four months after undergoing surgery on a fractured foot.

“Now, he’s returned to a very high level. He’s played a lot… I told him, and he knows, about the price he’s had to pay to get back to this level,” said Tite.

– Can Mexico break curse? –

Brazil will be without left-back Marcelo due to a back problem, so Filipe Luis will take his place against a Mexico side not to be taken lightly.

These teams drew 0-0 in the group stage of the last World Cup, and Mexico qualified for the last 16 here at the expense of Germany, beating the holders 1-0 in Moscow in their opening game.

Now, ‘El Tri’ are bidding to end the ‘Curse of the Fifth Game’ — they have never made it to the quarter-finals of a World Cup on foreign soil and have suffered six consecutive eliminations in the first knockout round, not managing to reach that fifth game.

However, coach Juan Carlos Osorio said he was not concerned about past history.

“We don’t talk about that to our players. We spoke about the possibility of coming up against Brazil a few months ago, and here we are,” he said.

The winner of that tie will go on to face the winner of Monday’s other game, which sees Belgium meet Japan in Rostov-on-Don (1800 GMT).

Roberto Martinez’s dangerous side have lived up to their billing so far, winning all three group games. A host of key players were rested for the 1-0 victory against England, including Hazard, Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne, but they will return here.

However, Adnan Januzaj, who scored the winner in that match, has suffered a knee knock in training.

This might be the best chance for Belgium’s ‘golden generation’ to win a major trophy after being eliminated in the last eight at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.

“This is our time to shine, definitely. We have top players and we play as a group, especially after the win over England,” said Chelsea star Hazard.

“It’s in our hands, we need to give everything and see what happens.”

Japan reached this stage in controversial manner, by virtue of collecting fewer yellow cards in the group phase than Senegal. They have never won a knockout-round game at the competition.

“Maybe Belgium feel the tournament is starting after their three wins, but I’d like to feel we are on a par with them. We have played to our best, but the players have something more to offer,” said coach Akira Nishino.

Fakhar Zaman’s Career Best Underpins Pakistan

Pakistan cruised to a 74-run win Sunday over their hosts in the opening match of the Zimbabwe Twenty20 Tri-Series.

A career-best 61 from opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, and a late flurry of boundaries from Asif Ali and veteran batsman Shoaib Malik set up Pakistan’s imposing 182 for 4.

In reply, Zimbabwe mustered just 108 all out, with the wickets shared around Pakistan’s bowling attack. Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Khan, Mohammad Hafeez and Hasan Ali picked up two apiece.

“We decided that whether we batted or bowled first didn’t really matter,” said left-arm spinner Nawaz. “But with the start Fakhar Zaman gave us, and with Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik finishing it off, we felt we had enough runs.”

Zaman’s efforts were vital to Pakistan’s total. He kept Pakistan steady through the first half of their innings while Zimbabwe, having opted to bowl first, chipped away at the other end with regular strikes.

With Mohammad Hafeez, Hussain Talat, and captain Sarfraz Ahmed all falling cheaply, Pakistan were helped by Zaman’s fluent scoring at the other end, and he brought up his second T20 international half-century from 33 deliveries with a flick through square leg in the 13th over.

Zaman appeared settled at the crease, but two overs later he missed a heave at Chisoro and had his leg stump pegged back.

By then, however, Pakistan were 121 for 4, and with just over five overs still to be bowled had set a considerable platform.

Ali and Malik combined to plunder 61 from the last five, including five sixes, as Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled to contain them.

The hosts were further hampered by the loss of senior seamer Kyle Jarvis, who injured his right hand attempting to take a catch in the 13th over, and immediately left the field with a suspected dislocation and fracture to his right thumb.

Zimbabwe’s response with the bat never got going.

Opening the bowling, Nawaz removed Chamu Chibhabha with his sixth delivery. He conceded just three runs in his opening spell, and Zimbabwe were immediately behind the asking rate.

“For the last couple of seasons I’ve been opening the bowling in T20 cricket,” explained Nawaz. “I was varying the pace and getting a little help from the track. The slower deliveries were turning a bit, though with the new ball there wasn’t that much.”

Opener Solomon Mire fired in fits and starts to record a 29-ball 27, while Tarisai Musakanda cracked a busy 43 in his debut Twenty20 International innings.

But there was little support from the rest of the top order, with Elton Chigumbura the only other batsman to reach double figures.

The Zimbabwean tail collapsed completely, the last four wickets falling for the addition of just six runs, with Hafeez taking 2 for 3 in his first over in international cricket since his bowling action was cleared as legal last month.

Pakistan will face Australia in Monday’s match, and Nawaz suggested there was no need to tinker with their gameplan.

“We’ll go in with the same mindset tomorrow and play our best cricket,” he said. “We’ll keep the same strategy we had today, and probably the same gameplan too.”

FIFA World Cup 2018: Russia Seek Miracle Against Spain

Russia’s last World Cup game against Uruguay brought the overachievers down to earth with a thud. Their next one against Spain might just send them over the moon.

The hosts play their most important match in three decades when they face the 2010 champions in Moscow on Sunday in the last 16.

They are making their first appearance in the World Cup knockout stages in the post-Soviet era as the ultimate underdogs — Spain have not lost a match in two years while Russia entered the tournament without winning a game in eight months.

The last competitive match between them saw the Spaniards prevail 3-0 in the semi-finals of Euro 2008.

“We want to perform a minor miracle,” said Russia forward Artem Dzyuba. “We want to give our supporters an even bigger present.”

– Fickle fans –

The month-long extravaganza has always been about much more than football to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The hosts are spending a record $13 billion to put on a show that projects Putin’s vision of Russia as a global power that has regained its Soviet might.

Russia’s stadiums were meant to wow the crowds. Its football team was not.

And then it did.

The men in red kicked off the tournament in Moscow’s 80,000-seat Luzhniki Stadium — the crucible of Soviet and Russian sport — with a 5-0 thumping of Saudi Arabia.

The performance, including two goals from midfielder Denis Cheryshev, made a mockery of Russia’s ranking as the tournament’s worst team.

But it also came against lowly opposition and left many feeling a sense of relief that their lowly Sbornaya were not embarrassed on the world stage.

Russia’s 3-1 defeat of Mohamed Salah’s Egypt raised more eyebrows.

The win came with its own caveat: Salah was not at his best after a shoulder injury he suffered in Liverpool’s Champions League loss to Real Madrid.

Yet Russia really were looking better than advertised. The number of fans who thought they might actually win the whole thing edged up from 11 to 14 percent.

And then came last Monday’s 3-0 defeat to Uruguay in a game that decided who finished first in Group A.

“Welcome back, Sbornaya!” said one sardonic tweet when the score was 2-0 and Russia were down to 10 men.

“I finally recognise my team,” another quipped.

The number of Russians who still thought their team could become champions promptly fell to six percent.

Russia now return to the Luzhniki for the Spain encounter, with no one seemingly certain about how good they are.

A victory would be a famous one. A defeat would only confirm doubts that have surrounded the team since the Soviet Union’s collapse.

The Soviet Union reached the last 16 at the 1986 tournament in Mexico, losing 4-3 to Belgium in extra time.

That squad featured the great forward Oleg Blokhin and agile goalkeeper Rinat Dasayev. The team went on to lose the final of Euro 1988 to Ruud Gullit’s Netherlands.

A similar result against Spain would see the Russians leave the tournament with their heads held high.

“We are simply delighted with making it out of the group,” local organising committee chief Alexei Sorokin said.
