Yasir Hussain Nausheen Shah controversy began from none other than Vasay Chaudhary’s show Ghabrana Mana Hai. Much happened since then and both parties made comments but eventually, it all died down. However, in one of the Eid Special Shows, new information was uncovered which changed the whole outlook of the feud. And this information was conveyed by another renowned celebrity, Pakistani Film & TV Director, Nadeem Baig.
A little backstory
When Yasir Hussain was invited to the show, Vasay asked him questions relating to his past social media posts. But in between asking those questions, Vasay asked him if there were any uninvited guests at the wedding. Now this question is too specific and not every recently married celebrity gets asked this question but people did not pay much attention to it. And considering Yasir actually gave an answer, that attracted more attention.

By naming Nausheen Shah, he gave people a lot of content to talk about, and Nausheen jumping into clarifying her stance made the issue bigger. Nausheen said that no one goes uninvited to a wedding and she has proof that she was invited. To that, Yasir claimed that he had screenshots to prove his side of the story as well. No party revealed any evidences, however. But Yasir went on to take a jab at Vasay’s show. He called them wannabe copies of Koffee With Karan and that it was these shows and the host at fault and not him because they were asking questions that led to rivalries.

Nadeem Baig decided to clear himself of the blame at Nida Yasir’s eid show when asked about gossip on Yasir Hussain. He said that it was not Vasay who asked the question but it was Yasir who requested it. He even said that they had no idea he was going to take Nausheen’s name. Check out this clip.
This revelation does nothing to solve whether Yasir was telling the truth or Nausheen but it does say a lot about Yasir who had made a comment against the show.

Online footage goes viral showing a spherical object flying (UFO) in the air before disappearing into the ocean. The video, which was taken in July 2019, gained attention on social media. However, investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell shared it on May 14.

“The US Navy photographed and filmed “spherical” shaped UFOs and advanced trans medium vehicles. Here is some of that footage,” he wrote with the video. He also added that the object was 6 feet in diameter, moving at speeds between 46 mph-158 mph.

He filmed the CIC (Combat Information Center) footage of the USS Omaha on July 15th, 2019, in a warning area off San Diego. This footage depicts a UAP event series that reached a crescendo with one of the unknown targets entering the water. “No wreckage was found. None of the unknown craft was recovered,” he added.
“We do not know if the Navy or Pentagon might be willing to say about the USS Omaha incident. However, we are confident the incident is a legitimate mystery and look forward to whatever information might be forthcoming,” he concluded.
According to reports, the Pentagon has confirmed the authenticity footage taken aboard the USS Omaha and has said it is being investigated by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF).
“I can confirm that the Navy personnel has the video, and they include it in their ongoing examinations.” Spokesperson Susan Gough said in an email.

Apple launches many products through its various launches. Usually, its iPhone series gets launched in the fall but other accessories get released in events such as the one that happens in the Spring. However, Airpods 3 did not make it to the launch in April for some reason. According to Apple leaks, that situation may get corrected with the product being launched tomorrow, on May 18th.

[Update]: In the forecasted heatwave to hit Karachi, the temperature is expected to go as high as 44 degrees. As of now, the temperature is recorded at 37 degrees and humidity is at 23%.

The Met department announced yesterday that Karachi might experience warmer dry weather due to hot dry winds blowing from the northwest. The air quality will also be at hazardous levels. The lowest temperatures in Karachi, this December, will be as low as 5°C to 7°C, especially in northern areas of Karachi. These areas include Gadap, Bahria Town, Surjani Town, Maymar, Malir, and nearby regions. Rain is not expected much, but there are medium chances of rain spells.

Sarah told Nida how Falak and Sarah got together after a fashion show in a very candid interview. He proposed to Sara just after meeting her twice. Falak then approached her father and sent the wedding proposal. Khan then moved on to tell how they met twice before setting up a meeting for the entire family.

Sara then responded to a question from Nadia that if there were any restrictions imposed from Falak after the proposal. In response to which she mentioned, “I never had any restrictions from my family, and my father chose someone like himself”. She further added, ‘how Falak treats her exactly how her father used to treat her mother.’

4- Use egg whites only! I love whole eggs, but they tend to have too many calories and also increase your blood pressure. Skip the yolk, and stir up four egg whites as breakfast or a mid-day snack as the whites are loaded with protein.
5- Skim milk over full-fat milk: Not everyone is lactose tolerant, but if you are and wish to consume dairy, try getting your hands on skim milk as it cuts down your calories significantly.
6- Low-fat cheese is the way to go! I do not think you need to consume cheese every single day! It makes you super sleepy and fuller than you’d like on a working day, but in case you are, choose low-fat instead of full-fat.
7- Incorporate brown rice instead of white. Firstly, as soon as you consume white rice, you would want to nap; secondly, not high on a day, you wish to be productive and get things done. Skip the rice, curb cravings with the brown rice.
8- So many recipes ask for flour, which is unhealthy. Try to use whole wheat flour in your recipes as it is a healthier alternative.

Does this not warm your heart to see someone doing this? The job of a policeman can be extremely tiring, especially when it’s traffic control. We are all aware of how bad the traffic situation is in Karachi. So if someone is trying to improve it, we should support them without question. Around the area of boat basin, there is an elderly policeman. It can be seen as his station for quite a long time now. He is a veteran in his field and he takes pride in doing what he does. For the last two days, he has been seen doing something quite extraordinary. Yes, he has been distributing eidi to drivers stopping at the signal or passing by. This is an act of generosity that cannot be unrewarded.
There must be some way that we can pay him back, without making it seem entirely obvious. How much eidi he is giving is not the point of concern because any contribution counts. There is no small or big when it comes to giving from the heart. It is an extremely appreciable and honorary gesture from his end and may he have the best eid ever. It just puts a smile on many people’s faces when they see him on the corner and then he visits the car.

3. Shehzad Sheikh – Iqra Aziz
Be it Tabeer or Qurbaan, Shehzad Sheikh and Iqra rock the screen together. And I just love how they are at ease with each other.

The journey started from Ek Nayee Cinderella. And they instantly clicked. And the chemistry didn’t fade away even after multiple dramas because we see the same charm if not more in the later dramas as their first.

They came together on Cheekh and played the role of husband and wife. The love between the characters was so aptly played that it stuck in our heads. Loved their chemistry to bits.

1. Adnan Siddiqui – Ayeza Khan
Mere paas tum ho starred Ayeza Khan, where her character betrayed her husband to be with Shehwar (spoiler alert, if you still haven’t seen it). Adnan Siddiqui plays that role. And even though there were some cute scenes where they dance together but, that particular charm that chemistry is missing.
2. Imran Abbas – Sanam Jung
They came together in Dil e Muztar; they just didn’t click. Sarwat Gilani played the antagonist, but her chemistry with Imran Abbas was perfect. It could be due to how the characters were written.

3. Yumna Zaidi – Bilal Abbas
Being a fan of both, I genuinely waited for this drama. Plus, the teasers indicated a different and fun story. But as it turns out, the chemistry was not what I expected.
4. Zara Noor Abbas – Asad Siddiqui
These are married in real life, and they are such goals whenever you see them in programs. But then they did the drama Zebaish. And unfortunately, they are not as great of an on-screen couple as they are real-life couples.

I saw them in Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan. Maybe they wanted to show Mehreen’s character as very selfish, and that’s why it happened, but the chemistry is just off.

Friends is one of those sitcoms that has been gaining a fan following even long after it stopped airing. Running for ten seasons, the six lead cast members parted ways to make their own separate careers but fans, old and new, could never give up on the wish of seeing a reunion. Now, 17 years later, it has been announced that there will finally be a Friends Reunion. It will air on HBO Max on May 27th, 2021.
As is their way, the show casts celebrity guests, which makes it even more fun. Remember the time Brad Pitt made an appearance on the show?
With the Reunion as well, there will be around 15 celebrity guests as part of it; all of them who have proved themselves worthy to the entire world. When bored of watching action and comedy movies, Pakistani Awaam creates its own horror movie. Recently, a video circulated on the internet of a “Churail” walking on monkey-bars and then disappearing into the tree in Askari IV Park. *Goosebumps*
Every now and then, you hear stories about Jinns, Churails, Spirits, and what not! Although these events seem to be true, one cannot vouch for their authenticity. But this time, the case is somehow different.
The shocking part of the entire incident is these boys actually recorded the video of this “Churail” rather than running away from that spot. Where the Churail’s scream was deadly enough to scare the guts out of one person, kudos to these champs who kept on recording the whole scene.
