In recent news, veteran actor Shaan appealed to PM Imran Khan to ban content from across the border. Turning to his Twitter this week, the Khuda Ke Liye star appealed to PM Khan to ban Indian content and ‘protect’ the borders from foreign singers, music, and movies.

“ImranKhanPTI pls protect the cultural borders of Pakistan.. no Indian origin film should be released in Pakistan. As India has banned all the Pakistani content including singers artists film and music.. respect and equality must be a pivotal part on any trade,” tweeted Shaan on Saturday.

India Bans Pakistani Content

After India has decided to ban all Pakistani artists and content, actor Shaan requests PM to do the same. Action must be taken to safeguard and protect our culture and content.

In response to the tweet, netizens replied to his request. One user commented that how cinema owners suffer when Indian films are banned due to the lack of local content, and that the responsibility of creating good content then rests on the shoulders of local filmmakers and actors. In response to the tweet, Shaan commented about the lack of investment in Pakistani cinema. He wrote,

“Then let’s import other stuff as well that we don’t find in Pakistan. That’s not how countries and nations are built. We must support and make our products world class and that cannot happen unless we have patriotic investors.”

He added further in a separate reply, “A cinema is a retail outlet. They should be the first ones to invest in the infrastructure of films so [their] supply [doesn’t] dry out. It’s like opening a restaurant without a kitchen.”

Another user wrote, “Don’t be afraid of your competition! Improve your content first. Except Pakistan, the entire Muslim world is showing Indian films. The 70s, 80s and 90s PTV set example how they beat Doordarshan at that time only due to their superior content.”

The actor then mentioned how his point is not banning the content but giving their own content and artists the respect they deserve. The actor asserted, “We are not afraid of the competition, they are. That’s why they have banned our artists and content. My point is respect and patriotism.”

Another user agreed with the actor’s point. He wrote, “In the times when the world is already full of hate and barriers, let’s talk about bridging the gaps and taking the barriers down. Let’s strive to make them reciprocate with love in the form of shared arts both (love and arts) of which know no bounds.”

In response, the actor simply stated, “In an ideal world, sure. But, in reality, not possible.”

Asad Umar Shares Details About The Karachi Transformation Plan

On account of the green line project inauguration, federal minister Asad Umar share the details about the Karachi Transformation Plan with the public. He also revealed information about the remaining track of the Greenline project.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the buses will run for 15 days on probation. “The buses will start running regularly from December 25,” he added.

Meanwhile, the project is said to be completed with Rs 35 billion per the agreement between the Sindh government and the federal government. The Sindh government had requested the Federal government to take responsibility for its maintenance for three years.

The minister said, “Sindh government would collect the revenue of first three years and transfer it to the federal government as per accord.” However, the federal government would provide the subsidy to the passengers, he added.

He said this project would be profitable for the country, and the fare would be from Rs 15 to Rs 55. Also, he recommended that the provincial government review fare rates on an annual basis to make this project successful.

Project Details

Approved by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec), the Green Line project was executed by the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company Ltd (SIDCL). Starting from KESC Powerhouse Chowrangi in Surjani Town, the bus service is to terminate at Merewether Tower after passing through Nagan Chowrangi, North Nazimabad, Nazimabad and Gurumandir, with 21 stations along its route to cater to 300,000 passengers daily.

With over 23-kilometre dedicated tracks, including an 11km elevated section, the bus service project also offers special services for the disabled.

Meanwhile, “The K-4 project will be completed in September 2023.”

Sony has been one of the front runners for gaming console development for a long time. No matter who released a gaming console, a Playstation was always considered the top one in any genre. When the PS2 was released to the world, it was considered a revolution. Sony did a massive jump in gaming that had never been done before. This happened every time Sony decided to release a gaming console. Amidst all this, Apple came upon information in a confidential report. According to that report, Sony had planned to release something on mobile devices. This was something that Sony already had up and running on its console systems.

If they are talking about what we think they are talking about, then Apple meant Sony’s Playstation Now service. According to the details of the report, the service was going to bring more than 400 PS3 titles to smartphones and many more. This was a decision they had, allegedly, planned to take back in 2017. Now, why is Apple interested in this so much? After all, Sony had a steaming service and was planning it for mobile phone but why Apple’s interest in it?

Playstation Now Report

Turns out, Apple wanted to release their own version of this as well. They call it Apple Arcade and they promised quite a lot of titles on it. However, that was not to happen until two years later, when Apple Arcade finally did come out. Despite that, Sony decided to not move forward with that project. With that said, it is interesting to note that, back in 2017, Sony had thought of doing this project for mobile devices, using Playstation Now. It shows how ahead the company is of its time.

While they have understood that they are not going to battle Apple on this front, they are certainly planning something else. It seems that something might come to mobile devices but we are not sure of it yet. What we do know is that Playstation games can still be streamed on Android devices as well as Apple ones. We have yet to see what the future holds in terms of Playstation Now and more.

That said, we hope we get to see Sony’s version of Apple Arcade sooner than later. Who would not want to experience that kind of gaming on a mobile platform? It makes everything quite convenient and easier to access. Who knows, Sony might already be done developing something like this!

The main is at 48MP, with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. As a result, it stands ahead of the Y30’s quad-camera array because of the better main lens. While the Y30 has a quad array, it might not be able to deliver what the C25s can in a triple array.

One cannot shy away from the idea that we have to respect our parents. Almost every culture and every religion endorse this. However, in respecting parents, often it happens that the parents start upholding toxic beliefs. Considering our personality and our parenting style reflect how our relationship has been with our parents, it becomes important, teaching Pakistani parents the difference between right parenting and toxicity.

This idea comes from an understanding that since you have lived more than the children, you know more. But here is an interesting fact, in the ever-changing times, the kids of today are better able to attune themselves. Hence, it is actually possible that while you may know more, you may not know everything.

Being a dictator

Our society, unfortunately, has taught parents that the only way they will get revered is if they act like dictators. That is not true. In fact, it distances you from your children. That said, it is okay, if you do not want them to treat you as an equal. Where you stand and where they stand are indeed very different places. But by being a dictator you teach your children that they cannot communicate with you. As a result, even if they start sitting in wrong company, you wouldn’t even know. All the dictatorship would be for nothing, then, wouldn’t it?

Expecting children to fulfill parents’ dreams

In most cases, parents believe the children to be their extension.

“I did not get to study a certain discipline? Fine! My kid will do it.”

“I did not start a business? My child has to.”

“I started a company? My child has to inherit it!”

Parents forget that if they have dreams, their children are full fledged humans too with their own dreams.

How to Restore WhatsApp Deleted Messages: Step by Step Guide

WhatsApp has become an all-in-one hub for many users allowing them to send messages to their contacts, and also sharing photos, videos, contacts, and more. However, if an important message accidentally gets deleted it will be next to impossible to recover it if you did not make a backup on your phone.

WhatsApp is strictly against the policy of keeping a record of personal and private chats, which is why the application is compatible with other applications and features that save all messages for restoring.

WhatsApp Restoration for Android

Android users can recover deleted or lost conversations through Google Drive. If the app user switches phones, buys a new one, or wipes all data, they can still recover everything.

To do so, the user must have a Google account and the device should be synced with Google Drive, Google Play Services version 2.3.4 or later should be present in the device too.

To back up the device the user must do the following:

Open WhatsApp
Go to the Menu button
Select ‘Settings’
Tap ‘Chats’
Tap ‘Chat Backup’
Select Backup option and frequently backup to save all messages regularly.

If the messages have not been backed up on the Drive, they will not be restored. To retrieve the messages, delete and reinstall the application.

WhatsApp Restoration for iPhone

iOS users can back their important conversations through iCloud Backup. iCloud works the same way as Google Drive. In order to back up a device the user must:

Open WhatsApp
Open Settings
Select ‘Chats’
Tap ‘Chat Backup’
Tap ‘Back Up Now’ to activate it, there is also an option for automatic backup too.

However, in order to be able to have the backup, the user must have iOS 5.1 or later, an iCloud account, and storage space. To retrieve the messages, delete and reinstall the application.

WhatsApp Restoration for Windows Phone

Windows Phone users are connected to their Hotmail or Outlook IDs, they are also connected to OneDrive, storage space where users can store important files.

In order to recover deleted messages, the Windows Phone user will have to first open Settings, select ‘Chats and Calls’, tap ‘Backup’, and then delete or uninstall the application. When the application is re-installed, the messages on the device that were backup will automatically appear after they select restore messages.

WhatsApp Restoration for BlackBerry

All messages and media files are either saved in the internal memory of the phone or in the SD card, if there is no space within the phone or the memory card, or if the card is not present, the chat will not be recovered. In order to select storage options, the user follow the following:

Open Settings
Select Media Settings
Select Appropriate Setting (Phone or SD Card)
Delete WhatsApp and reboot phone
Go to ‘Explore’
Select ‘Database’ and then ‘WhatsApp’
Rename file to ‘123messagestore.db’
Reistall WhatsApp
Select ‘Restore Messages’ (if needed)

Other Methods

Other methods of recovery include USB Debugging, Scanning, Connecting Phone to PC, and using Data Recovery Tools and Applications.

I’ve been an enthusiastic gamer for a long time, a console lover and a PC Gaming know-it-all. Recently, I have experienced some really amazing games on the android platform that I believe are worth sharing.

I know there’s a serious hate for people who play games on mobile and call themselves hardcore gamers, but the games in the list below are not only amazing, they are also quite challenging!

I know one list won’t be enough to convince you that awesome games exist on the android platform, all I can do is share some of the best gaming experiences I’ve had on mobile and hope you have an amazing gaming experience too.

Without further ado, allow me to present my list of the top 5 android first person shooters of all time.

1. Modern Combat 5: Blackout

One of the most resource hungry and demanding games in the list, not even worth downloading if you have a phone with less than 1 GB of RAM; however, it’s one of the most amazing android games I have played so far.

If you love Call of duty style games this one is going to be an amazing experience, best played on a device that has more than 2 GB RAM. The single player campaign is exciting and challenging and will keep you coming back for more.

There are in-game purchases, however, the game itself is free to download and play, but it will dent your data. Also, there have been issues where people have downloaded the game and it stopped working on their phone after a while if this happens then uninstall and reinstall it again.

2. Dead Trigger 2

If you love zombie killing games with fast-paced action, this is the game to play! The cool thing about this game is you can play it both on your desktop browser as well as your phone. Once you make your account in the game using Facebook, you can log into the game from the browser to play.

Dead Trigger 2 is not really heavy on the storyline, and some missions can be a bit repetitive at times but there are various game modes and challenges that will keep you constantly engaged.

3. Unkilled

A somewhat linear clone of Dead Trigger 2, it is slightly more streamlined for more users who don’t want to spend a lot of time sifting through menus, again as with all previous games, this is also a free-to-play, pay-to-advance sort of title.

The gameplay is very refined, there are slight gameplay improvements compared to Dead Trigger, however, they are not so pronounced. All in all, a great addictive time sink.

4. Zombie Gunship

One of the more interesting titles in this list of free shooters, there is little to no storyline yet in terms of playability this is one of the most addictive games on this list.

In Zombie Gunship you are the pilot of an AC130 aircraft flying over a bunker, a siren has gone off, warning of survivors in the area of an impending zombie horde. Your job is the guard the civilians and help them reach the bunker safe and sound.

Your arsenal in this game includes 3 types of weapons, each with varying ranges of proximity damage. The really cool thing about this game is the minimum amount of time spent in menus to actually start this game, great game to play while you are sitting waiting for a meeting or have an extra free period.

5. Dead Effect 2

Zombie shooters have been all the rave for the past half a decade, although this title is the first that brings console quality graphics to an amazing story based shooter.

Dead effect 1 was amazing and I would highly recommend you start with the first game of this title to get immersed into the storyline and the universe of the game, however, dead effect 2 can easily pass off as a standalone game on its own. Even though the game has near-console quality graphics it is less demanding as a mobile first-person shooter than Modern Combat 5.

This entry is by far the best, last but definitely not the least. We witnessed an entry in 2021 in which a couple made their Walima entry with their baby in their lap! It’s for sure the cutest, most adorable entry that there has ever been. It also shows that glitters and glamour are not all that is needed for a memorable entry.
