Toyota Revamps Its Logo, But It Won’t Be Visible On Its Cars!

It looks like the automotive industry around the world is revamping their logos!

Just a couple of days ago, we shared how Nissan plans to launch its new logo with the 2022 Ariya EV.

Now, Toyota has announced a significant logo revamp as well, but there’s a twist. Their logo will not be seen in their cars.

The reason behind this decision is straightforward; unlike Volkswagen or Nissan, Toyota is not changing its logo drastically. It’s only going from a 2D logo to a 3D logo!

Hence, the newly introduced emblem will be used for the brand’s communications and marketing material.

The exciting thing about Toyota’s logo is that at first look, it seems like a ‘0’ inside a circle with a halo-like symbol going through it. There are not 1 or 2 but 3 eclipses in it.

These eclipses:

symbolize the unification of the hearts of our customers and the heart of Toyota products – Toyota

Moreover, there another exciting aspect of the logo. You can see all letters that make the name T-O-Y-O-T-A itself.

Hence, because of no visible logo change, the designs on all of the Toyota variants will remain the same. At the same time, it’s different from the other car brands.

For example, Nissan’s new logo, unlike the old one, is not bulky. Its trimmed, the name Nissan is still in the middle of a circle, but now the circle does not close, and each letter has been giving spacing. Its modern, futuristic, simple, elegant, and simple at the same time.

Because it is more visible, and because Nissan plans to make their emblems illuminated in the long run, new Nissan cars will be carrying the new logo.

21-Year-Old Girl, Ayesha Ghani Is Selling Cows At The Cattle Market

A cattle market in Karachi has an unusual member that people can not wrap their heads around. It is none other than a 21-year-old Ayesha Ghani who’s making her place in it.

She’s the only woman standing tall in the cattle market in Karachi. Surely it’s not easy being the single woman in a place full of men. However, Ayesha is undaunted.

Ayesha does everything for the 36 animals she had reared and now brought to sell. Upon the customer’s inquiry, she shows their teeth, gives them water, brushes them. She does not exhibit any fear or lack of ability when it comes to doing the job.

Interestingly, Ayesha is also a gym instructor and sometimes teaches people how to ride a bike. It seems like tough activities are what she aligns herself with always. More power to her!

How Is She Faring

Ayesha brought 36 animals to the cattle market and now has 24 left. She has also managed to sell 12 animals already. Upon being asked about how and why she’s here, her answer was straightforward and endearing. She just said she loved working with animals and had always been looking for an opportunity.

She added that she also wanted to change things around for the women and children who wish to visit the market. Ayesha’s journey has also not been comfortable. She remembered that the first time she came to get a stall, the owner of the area was baffled. Even a bit reluctant to provide the space. Moreover, others ask her irrelevant and personal questions. 

She admits that from time to time, those questions influence her negatively, and she feels upset.

Women Empowerment

A cluster of good news has formed over the past couple of days regarding women. It’s refreshing, hopeful, and inspiring to see women make their mark in any place which is dominated by men.

For instance, the Foodpanda Hijabi Hero who was making rounds on social media earlier. She’s out to earn for her family, and she does not pay heed to the unnecessary restrictions imposed on her.

Take the young Balochi girl who was surfing like a pro, fearless, and motivated. Pakistanis also came forth to offer their support and love to her.

Now we have the example of Ayesha also who’s breaking one stereotype at a time. When you think of a mandi, the last thing you can think of is a woman selling animals there. She’s possibly the first of her kind, and that’s incredible.

  1. Firstly, you need to download a file transferring agent like Superbeam of Files by Google on your phone. 
  2. Secondly, make sure that the friend from whom you’ll be getting the file has the same agent downloaded. 
  3. After installing the sharing app, open it, and try to find files online to make local folders on your smartphone. 
  4. Then force close the app. 
  5. * Now from your friend’s phone transfer OBB files to your phone. To locate the OBB file, go to Files — Android — OBB (folder). 
  6. In the obb folder, you will need to open the “com.tencent. Ig” folder and select the “main.11460.com.tencent.ig.obb” file and send it to your phone. The file name may vary according to the version of the game. 
  7. After ultimately transferring the obb files, you need to move the “com.tencent.ig” folder. It is located in Files > Android > data. 
  8. Then go to your file manager and replace the obb data with the game folder you transferred from your friend’s mobile phone. 
  9. After you are done, open PUBG Mobile and set up the game.

  1. Transfer the PUBG file from your friend’s phone through Bluetooth.
  2. Android users can use SHAREit, Accenture, EasyShare apps to transfer files efficiently.
  3. The game will be found in the form of an APK file in this method.
  4. Then go to Android Data Folder > Android User Files, and the PUBG file will be there.
  5. Continue to click on this file and go to the settings to grant permission. As soon as approval is granted, the game will start downloading without using the internet.
  6. You will be able to play it as soon as the installation is complete!

PTA Bans Bigo & Warns TikTok for Immoral Content

A leading news site has reported that Bigo, the live streaming community, has been permanently banned by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) immediately for obscenity. The authoritative body also warned the Chinese app, TikTok, to come up with a complete mechanism to regulate indecency.

Many complaints have been received by different sections of our society against social media apps showcasing vulgar, obscene, and immoral content, especially Bigo and TikTok.  The content is said to hurt the youth and society in general.

Notices Issued By PTA 

A statement issued by the authoritative body says, “PTA had issued necessary notices to the aforementioned social media companies under the law to moderate the socialization and content within legal and moral limits, in accordance with the laws of the country.”

The authoritative body has issued required notices to the above mentioned social media companies. They have been asked to supervise the content within moral and legal boundaries following the requirements of the country.

PTA didn’t receive an adequate response. Hence, the action was taken.

The PTA said the answer from these companies was “not satisfactory.” The response received from these tech companies has not been entirely adequate.

“Therefore, in the exercise of its powers under PECA, the PTA has decided to immediately block Bigo and issue a final warning to TikTok to put in place a comprehensive mechanism to control obscenity, vulgarity, and immorality through its social media application,” the statement said. In acknowledgment, PTA has utilized its powers under PECA and has immediately blocked Bigo while TikTok has been warned.

Tiktok Recently Banned by India

Just recently, India had banned TikTok and several other Chinese apps in the name of sovereignty. A statement said the reason being the ban is “national security and defense of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India.”

PUBG Banned by PTA

Previously, PTA briefly barred online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for unknown reasons. According to Dawn, under section 37 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, PTA has the power to block “unlawful online content,” which doesn’t explain exactly why did the authority prevents the video game. The reasons cited by PTA don’t even fall under section 37.

Science and Technology Minister, Fawad Chaudhry has also opposed the ruling party on banning culture. He said it was mainly “killing the tech industry.”

He wrote on his Twitter on Sunday, “Well I [am] against all kinds of general bans, such attitude is killing tech industry we cannot afford such bans.”

Consider it an advantage! When working from home, keep switching spaces where you usually work. Sometimes you can work on your bed, or your work desk, or in the lounge. Changing locations will help you stay active.

2 – Dress up For Work Every Morning 

One thing I have noticed works best for me is to get out of PJs and jump into something causal. Wear some makeup and jewelry. To top it all off, some perfume just to set the right mood for work.

Take breaks from work when required. Head straight to the kitchen and prepare your self quick delicious recipes. Get a scoop of ice cream maybe twice a week, or cut delicious fruits with some nut butter to enjoy while you’re working. Romanticize your cup of coffee in the evening and lift your spirits high!

4 – Play Music 

Working with your colleagues around you and chatting with them helps stimulate your mood, but when at home, you are usually alone or with family. Try listening to upbeat music when you’re feeling low. You may also want to dance because guess what? No one’s watching.

5 – Finish Work Early

Start early in the morning! Take full advantage of not having to get ready or drive to work. In this manner, it is likely; you will finish work on time or even before time if it is your lucky day! You can even workout, just call up a friend or read a book. The idea is not to delay work the entire day. Finish work early and relax for the rest of the day.

Yashma Gill Urges People To Understand What Manipulation Is

At the beginning of this year, the teasers of a HUM TV drama, Pyar Ke Sadqay, made rounds on the internet. The show received well-deserved attention due to its unique teasers. It featured an incredible cast, including Bilal Abbas Khan, Yumna Zaidi, and Yashma Gill. The first teaser featured Yumna and Bilal dancing on a stairway. Yumna wore a pink shirt along with a dungaree.

 

The audience hoped that the drama would be unique. Yumna Zaidi plays the character of Mahjabeen, a naive girl who marries Abdullah, played by Bilal Abbas. The show revolves around their married life, which suffers due to Abdullah’s step-father and ex-girlfriend.

Abdullah marries Mahjabeen after the girl he’s in love with, Shanzay, insults and rejects him. Shanzay is a manipulative person. Her re-entry in the drama has caused many fans to be frustrated.

A fan expressed her anger at Shanzay, Yashma Gill’s character. This was due to Shanzay’s nature, asking Abdullah to marry her, or she will kill herself.

Malware Discovered In Android Phones That Steals Banking Credentials!

A leading source of news has reported that android a new malware has been discovered that steals credentials from banking apps. The said malware has been found by a skilled team of security researchers that is now known as the BlackRock.

This kind of malware has been found targeting communication, social, and dating applications, and more. It is a banking Trojan that is said to be derived from Xerxes malware’s code, which is a recognized exertion of the LokiBot Android trojan.

The malicious code is banking Trojan, and yet it has only been targeting non-financial apps. The system pretends to appear on the phone as a Google update; in the beginning, once it acquires users’ permission, it automatically hides from the app drawer its icon without leaving any trace behind. Now, when it is set in its place, it allows the hackers to begin their looting.

The malware was first identified in May in the world of Android, says the team of analysts based in the Netherlands. The unit comes from a threat intelligence based firm called ThreatFabric. They suggested that the malware is adequate for stealing credentials of users as well as their credit/debit card details.

BlackRock malware targets a total number of three hundred and thirty-seven apps, which is a significant number given that other malicious codes of such nature don’t have the same capabilities as this particular one. Targetted apps include Amazon, Gmail, Google Play Services, Netflix, Microsoft Outlook, and many more.

“In the case of BlackRock, the features are not very innovative, but the target list has an extensive international coverage and it contains quite a lot of new targets which haven’t been seen being targeted before,” the researchers noted in the blog post.

The malware is very similar to average Android banking trojans 

“Those ‘new’ targets are mostly not related to financial institutions and are overlayed to steal credit card details,” the team at ThreatFabric said in a blog post.

The team from ThreatFabric also identified the patterns of the malware. It is said to be designed in such a way that it overlays attacks, steal SMS messages, and send spams. It also seems to lock the user whose phone is hacked in the launcher activity.

The malware may also pretend as a keylogger, which means that the hackers get easy access to the codes and financial information of the victim. The malware can even reportedly surpass security checks of antivirus software such as Avast, AVG, BitDefender, Eset, Trend Micro, Kaspersky, or McAfee.

How does BlackRock steal user information? 

According to the team of analysts from ThreatFabric, this particular malware also opts for a way to overlay the actual screen. In this specific condition, the malware collects information from the user by exploiting the ‘Accessibility Service’ of Android. After that, it overlays a bogus screen as a cover on a legitimate app.

Generic card grabber view, an overlay screen that can be handled for malicious activities, may assist hackers in obtaining details from banking apps, too, which is extremely dangerous considering the sensitivity of the information.

“Although BlackRock poses a new Trojan with an exhaustive target list, looking at previous unsuccessful attempts of actors to revive LokiBot through new variants, we can’t yet predict how long BlackRock will be active on the threat landscape,” the researchers said.

Imran Khan’s Youth Business Loan is a dream come true for all up and coming entrepreneurs. The loan is offered under the Youth Business Scheme, and it’s something you need to know about.

For instance, many have big dreams but fall short on resources. On the other hand, many jumped ship but now are struggling. If you’re anyone of those or fall in the middle, keep reading!

The Youth Loan Scheme

The scheme was developed to aid the youth trying to make a mark in the business sector. Moreover, the loan is available to either set up a new business or expand a currently existing one. Furthermore, it exists presently in collaboration with three departments that distribute the loans.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Small and Medium Enterprise Authority (SMEDA), and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) all work together.

A subsidized loan is given to provide the youth with financial assistance to create successful businesses. Therefore, if you want to avail of the loan, you need to get acquainted with the criteria.

The Eligibility Criteria

  1. All men/women/transgender holding a CNIC, aged between 21 and 45 years with entrepreneurial potential can apply for the loan 
  2. Small Enterprises (start-ups and existing businesses), according to the definition of SBP, owned by people in the age mentioned above brackets can apply.
  3. For IT/E-Commerce related businesses, the minimum degree of enrollment and experience of at least six months will be required
  4. Lastly, for IT/E-Commerce related businesses, the minimum age limit is additionally 18 years.

A Special Women’s Quota

In addition to those requirements, there’s an individual quota for women. Under the scheme, it has been decided that 25% of the loans will go to female borrowers.

Loan Types

Two types of loans can be received:

  1. Working capital loan
  2. Term loans

Firstly, the maximum duration allowed for the repayment of the loan is eight years. In addition to that, the maximum grace period allocated can be of 1 year.

On the other hand, the duration of loan repayment and grace period can also be subject to change. In other words, the judgment of the parties involved will be used depending on the borrower.

Loan Amounts and Securities

Three tiers are created to make the process efficient and transparent.

  • Tier 1: Rs. One hundred thousand to Rs. 1 million (without collateral).
  • Tier 2: Above Rs. 1 million up to Rs. 10 million (with collateral).
  • Tier 3: Above Rs. 10 million up to Rs. 25 million (with collateral).

For the tier 1 loan, the lender does not require a guarantee. A personal guarantee from the borrower is deemed sufficient.

On the other hand, for tier 2 and 3 loans, collateral is required. It can be anything bankable like a commercial vehicle, gold ornaments, government securities (among others). Moreover, the decision on the collateral will be made by the participating banks.

Mark-Up Rate

Lastly, there is a mark-up rate that’s applied to all three tiers:

  • Tier 1: a fixed 3% rate per annum for the borrower.
  • Tier 2:  fixed 4% rate per annum for the borrower.
  • Tier 3: fixed 5% rate per annum for the borrower.

Note: The registration for the first phase of the loan scheme has closed. However, you will be able to apply in the upcoming step 2 of the program! 

All in all, this is a fantastic scheme that’s bound to have long-term benefits. Prime Minister always pledged to empower the youth of Pakistan and align his mandate with their needs. This scheme proves that entirely, here’s to the child that’s going to uplift our country.

Indian Student Travels On Foot To Meet Girlfriend In Pakistan

Bollywood film industry seems to have quite an impact on the youth nowadays. The Indian student, Zishan Mohammad Siddiqui, tried to cross the border to meet a girl he claims to fall in love with. Zishan met the girl on a social networking site, and two developed a friendship. The couple also started to exchange messages through WhatsApp.

The 20-year-old is an engineering Indian student from the state of Maharashtra. He lives in Khwajanagar in Osmanabad, which is a small town in Maharashtra.

Zishan Siddiqui was arrested on Thursday by the Border Security Force (BSF) in the Gujarat province. The security forces later handed the young man to the local police.

The student’s family had filed a complaint after he was missing. The complaint led the police to trace the guy and arrest him eventually. He left his home on a motorcycle as there was no public transport available due to the lockdown. He left his house in Osmanabad on July 11.

In Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch, Zishan Siddiqui’s motorcycle got stuck in the mud near the Dholavira village. He abandoned his bike there and carried on his remaining journey on foot. When the police found the abandoned motorcycle from Maharashtra, it alerted them. They later traced the student with the help of drone cameras.

Unfortunately, before his arrest at the hands of the BSF, Zishan Mohammad was only 1.5 km away from where the international border crossing between Indian and Pakistan lies. Zishan Muhammad had precisely the kind of adventure they make in Bollywood but less filmy and without random synchronized dances and melancholic songs. Upon his arrest, the young student was dehydrated.

He told the authorities that he had been unconscious for more than two hours. Zishan Siddiqui was not only trying to cross the border without a visa, but he also had no passport. We must appreciate his determination to meet the love of his life. Additionally, Zishan Siddiqui reached to the Rann of Kutch from Maharashtra’s Osmanabad with the help of Google Maps!

After his family’s complaint, the police checked Zishan Siddiqui’s belongings. His laptop and social media accounts were examined. The revealed that he was on his way to meet his girlfriend, who was a Pakistani. From there, it was easy for the police to trace him through his mobile phone.

Social Media Furious As Apple & Google Allegedly Remove Palestine From Maps

Google and Apple have sparked a debate over the past couple of days.

This debate has stirred a new wave of controversies and has split social media. While one side disagrees, the other one has a different perspective.

Both leading brands have been accused of allegedly removing Palestine from their maps.

When a user searches for Palestine on both Google Maps and Apple Maps, they see the Gaza Strip outline as well as the West Bank territories, but no Palestine.

The accusation of the removal started when an Instagram user ‘Astagfirolah’ posted a series of messages which went viral, claiming that both giants have “officially removed” Palestine from their maps.

Later on, an update was added to the viral post claiming that this post had false information. It continued that Palestine had never been added to the maps in the first place.

The post reads:

Update: This Post Contains False Information As Palestine was *never* put on worldwide maps.

However we have spread awareness on this issue.

Because maps develop TO our national coNsciousness. We need our voices to be louder this time. Use your voice. Use your power.

This is a revolutionary year, and we will fight for the needed change to bring palestine on the maps.

However, since the break of the news, several newspapers and publications have claimed that this was done on purpose as both tech titans are influenced and support Isreal’s occupation.

It is also important to mention here that Palestine has been recognized by the United Nations as well as 136 of its members as an ‘independent state.’

No official comment has come by either Google or Apple on this matter. However, on Google’s website, there is a portion of text in regards to disputed boundaries which reads:

Petition To Add Palestine On Google Maps

Reportedly, this is not the first time when Google has been accused of removing Palestine from its map.

In 2016, a petition had been filed on Change.org, where the claim was that Palestine had been removed on Google Maps on Isreal’s insistence and that because both founders are Jewish, they have close ties with the nation. The petition remains active today.

The Hate Train Is Blind

Humza may have been acting beyond his age, and it may be unethical for him to create such pictures. However, how can someone call out a child for not being ethical? A 13-year-old can not be expected to be aware of such concepts if, in our society, even adults aren’t. 

Secondly, the hypocrisy in the comments was staggering. People were asking the child to be ethical, all the while hating on him. It was not okay to trash his comments like that because he’s not a grown adult. He’s a 13-year-old who CAN be affected by the hate quite a lot.

Most social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram have a minimum age policy. In other words, users must be a minimum age before they can join the platform. However, that has seldomly been followed. You can just put a fake period in and go about your day.

Ali Zafar and wife, Ayesha Fazli, were once kidnapped back in 2008! Yes, you heard that right. A leading source narrated the story from twelve years ago when the duo got abducted by a man.

Ali and Ayesha were just engaged at that given point in time. The source said that they were walking out of a CD store towards their car when the kidnapper approached them and sat in the back seat.

The man was armed. He made Ali drive across town from place to place for at least three hours and also asked the couple to call their parents for the ransom amount!

The amount he asked for was around 2.5 million Rupees.

The kidnapper said he would shoot both of them if he didn’t get the amount. The incident was not reported to the police according to a police officer’s statement from back then.

Ali and Ayesha both made calls, and later, Ayesha’s parents ended up paying the full amount outside a shopping plaza in Gulberg, Lahore. The duo was kidnapped for a total of six hours. Sounds like a crazy stressful day for both the families.

The armed man took the bag full of cash and Ali’s cell phone and left them.

Ertugrul Ghazi Sindhi is real and it’s coming to a TV near you very soon. The incredible Turkish serial is being replicated by a local TV channel and in Pakistan, and we have mixed thoughts. When everyone wished to have such shows produced locally, we’re confident this outcome was not desired.

Ertugrul has been received with such a staggering amount of love that Turkish stars are surprised. Additionally, they have repeatedly thanked their fans in Pakistan and have also promised to visit once the pandemic ends. Pakistanis have devoted their days and nights to the Turkish serial, and the obsession is not going to die down soon. Amid this rage, a production company is launching Ertugrul’s Sindhi version.

The serial’s name is “Raj Rani,” and it claims to be inspired by the Turkish phenomena. The 30-second trailer features an intense, almost comical fight with the backdrop of an ancient fort.

Moreover, KTN has attempted to make it as inspired as possible, though. The armor the characters are clad in, the backdrops and others are made similar.
