5 Tricks Students Can Use To Sharpen Their Memory

memory

When I was a kid, my mother would force me to eat carrots and drink carrot juice. She believed that it would help improve my eyesight. Hence, I grew up believing that. You can understand why I developed trust issues when I got to know that this carrot thing is a myth. This myth originated in WWII.

However, I recently found out that carrot can help protect your eyes. To conclude this story, I don’t trust food. I’m not going to tell you to eat almonds to sharpen your memory. Instead, I will tell you five other things you can do.

How can students sharpen their memory?

I have a short answer to this: a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle has more than you can count. If your body is well-rested and well-fed, your mind will work much more efficiently.

Here are five tricks that you can use to sharpen your memory.

1. Meditate

Meditation has thousands of benefits. It can affect your body and mind in such a positive way. It does reduce not only stress and lower blood pressure but also improves memory.

Our brains have a gray matter which contains neuron cells. As a person ages, the gray matter in their mind decreases. This leads to a decline in their cognition as well as memory. Meditation helps increase this gray matter. You must meditate while you are young.

2. Train

memory

Games that help exercise your cognitive skills can help develop and strengthen your memory. Crosswords and word-recall games are great for this. Now, many mobile apps have mind braining games.

3. Sleep

When it comes to our brain’s cognitive function, sleep plays a vital role; When we sleep, memory consolidation occurs in our minds. A process through which our short-term memories transform into long-term ones. Hence, sleep deprivation means your account is not changing your memories in the long-term storage section.

According to a study, 68% of night-shift nurses scored lower on memory tests than their day shift counterparts. They also made more mathematical errors.

Usually, in their exam days, students ignore a regular sleeping schedule. Sleep deprivation, especially with exam stress, results in lousy memory.

4. Vitamin D

Vitamin D plays a vital role in keeping our bodies and minds healthy. Many health problems can be traced to Vitamin D deficiency. It is more common than you think. VDD can reduce the cognitive function of the brain. You should get a blood test to find out if you have VDD.

5. Exercise

Exercise is essential. During exams, most students study all day long. Their physical activity almost ceases to exist, while their mental activity peaks. It is not suitable for memory.

People who exercise in their younger years also decrease their chances of developing memory-related problems in later life.

What do you think of these tips? Let us know in the comments below.

However, it seems the cases are now decreasing. Pakistan’s recovery rate is pretty impressive. Not only this, but the doctors in Pakistan have fought this virus without any facilities, initially.

Undoubtedly, these doctors, nurses, and technicians have been working day and night without giving it a second thought. Moreover, many Pakistani doctors have also lost their life after contracting the deadly flu.

5 Meaty Dishes You Can Make This Eid-ul-Adha

5 Meaty Dishes You Can Make This Eid-ul-Adha

If Eid ul Fitr is all about eidi, then Eid ul Adha is only about sacrificial animals and food. Before the Eid day, everyone only thinks about the animals: their food and water, walking them outside, decorating them, and many more things. On the Eid day, everyone sets their eyes on the food: its preparation, cooking, and all.

However, this Eid will be different due to the pandemic. We will have to follow the Standard Operating Procedures in all regards. Following the SOPs means no Eid dawats, no barbecue dinners, and no hangouts with friends. We should also be careful when taking animals out for a walk. Hence, this Eid dinner will be different. I think its reasonable to say that we only have food this Eid.

You can try making as many dishes as you want on Eid day, but I believe that Eid is incomplete without the traditional ones.

Eid ul Adha is a unique festival. On Eid ul Adha, even those who avoid meat throughout the year eat it. Food lovers usually prepare a list of their favorite meaty dishes days before the Eid.

Here are some meaty dishes that you must try on this Eid day:

1. Beef Haleem

Eid ul Adha meaty dishes
source: therecipespk.com

No dish can compete with good haleem. It requires a lot of effort and time to prepare haleem. It is a great dish to prepare for Eid. Beef Haleem is made up of various kinds of lentils and meat. You can find your favorite haleem recipe from the internet and try the dish with a unique twist this Eid perhaps.

2. Tikka Boti

Tikka Boti is another excellent option to make this Eid. Even though Tikka Boti and Beef Haleem are not unique dishes but as I said before that Eid is not Eid without the traditional dishes.

3. Mutton Nihari

If you are missing your favorite Nihari place, this Eid ul Adha, you do not need to worry. Put your chef cap on and channel your inner chef. Nihari is everyone’s favorite.

4. Every type of Kebab

Eid ul Adha meaty dishes

Shami kebab, chapli kebab, Turkish kebab, or be it any other kind of kebab, Pakistanis love ’em all. A new type of kebab can easily be both something new and familiar for your family.

5. Gobi Gosht

Gobi gosht is a perfect dish for the 3rd or 4th day of Eid. When you get tired of eating meaty food since Eid ul Adha, make yourself a blend of vegetables and meat. Cauliflower is one of those foods that go well with everything else.

What do you think about these meaty dishes you can try to make this Eid? Let us know in the comment section below.

#JusticeForZoobiaMeer – Brother Beats Mother & Sister Over Property

Zoobia Meer and her mother are the latest victims of domestic violence. The country stands with them, celebrities have reached out, and citizens are making her trend on Twitter. All this attention is also compelling the Police to take the matter seriously. But what happened?

Zoobia Meer’s Case

Her mother and Zoobia Meer were beaten up by her brother. The brother, Arslan, was blinded by matters of property and money and took his anger out in the worst of ways. He proceeded to beat his mother and sister while his wife stood and watched.

Zoobia says that the brother also stole her valuables like cash and jewelry. He also took the papers regarding the property and ran away. She went to the relevant police station to lodge a First Information Report. However, the Police were initially not wanting to help or accepting the FIR.

The sister, Zoobia, has put up a video on youtube, had an interview with Waqar Zaka, and released a statement. Here’s all you need to watch:

This is her statement:

Her interview with Waqar Zaka; there are three parts of it.

The counter-statement Zoobia Meer’s sister in law has put online.

How Are The People Responding

Zoobia has also made an Instagram account through which she’s updating all her followers. Celebrities are taking up the story, getting to know the hashtag, and helping spread the word around. Netizens have made #JusticeForZoobiaMeer trend on twitter for the girl’s case to get recognized. As of this moment, it’s her and her mother against a physically abusive brother.

Celebrities like Naimal Khawar Khan and Zara Noor Abbas are publicly condemning the brother.

A Developing Story

This is currently a developing story. However, as you can see in the video, whatever the perpetrator is doing is uncomfortable to listen to yet alone watch. The wife of Arsalan Qureshi (the guy beating his mother and sister) has come forth with a video of her own.

In the video, the woman claims that the mother was misbehaving with her son. The son, who was later beating his mother, had asthma and suffered an attack. When he gained consciousness, he saw that his pregnant wife and 2-years-old daughter were being beaten. As a result, he attacked the mother that way.

We want to ask: is it still justified to hit your mother like that? All while hurling the worst of abuses towards her? The sister, Zoobia, in her report, also mentioned that she was beaten with a wiper.

Domestic violence is heavily prevalent in Pakistan. Each day there are several reported cases, and there are hundreds that are not published. Just a few days ago, when a woman spoke up about being domestically abused, she was murdered by her husband. We’re hoping Zoobia and her mother get justice, and their brother is put behind bars.

3 Basic Ways To Groom Your Personality & Why It’s Important

groom your personality
source: bbc.com

Since people notice your personality and your behavior, the first time you meet them, it is essential to groom yourself. It is usual for us, as humans, to be inclined towards those with approachable and amiable personalities. We tend to favor those who seem welcoming. It is not difficult to learn to charm people and groom yourself.

You can do so with these little steps we have written down. However, there are somethings that one needs to know before. People judge each other based on how they look, dress, and carry themselves around. No matter how much they say that it does not matter, everyone knows it does.

Here are some of the primary ways you can groom your personality:

1. Do not hesitate from admitting the source of your mistakes: independent.co.uk

All of us hate those people who stubbornly keep arguing whenever they are wrong? The worst part is that most of them do not even apologize after they get to know. It is not easy to acknowledge your mistakes and apologize. Those who do so have a more forceful personality than others.

We, humans, often hate admitting if we are not good at something as well. We hide our weaknesses because we are embarrassed by them. Strong-minded people do not do this. The first thing you should do to groom yourself is to stop hesitating. When you are wrong, you should just apologize and move on.

2. Smile towards others

groom your personality
source: parenting.firstcry.com

Human beings remember how people made them feel rather than what people said. We like people who are always laughing. We want to associate ourselves with kind and happy people.

Smile is contagious. Have you ever noticed how a baby’s smile puts a smile on your face too? Hence, whenever you meet, others greet them with a smile.

3. Express your love towards others

Smile is essential, but it is not everything. You should express how much your respect, love, and appreciate people. People love being cherished and appreciated. It makes them feel important. This does not mean you should start lying, but just express yourself.

Dale Carnegie, in his book How to win friends and influence people, gives an example of a dog. Dogs are the most loved pets on the planet. This is because they provide unconditional love themselves.

Most importantly, you should not criticize people. People often tend to get defensive when criticized. We are never taught how important it is to value others’ feelings. We should interact with others with respect.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.

12-Year-Old Pashtun Boy Becomes One Of The Youngest Authors!

bilawal latif

Bilawal Latif, 12 years old, hails from Waziristan. He’s a 7th grader at the moment as well. However, when you think of a 7th grader and a child of 12, you can only think of a kid who’s still learning to articulate himself. But Latif is not your regular kid. Find out why!

‘Pashtun Heroes’ Published At The Age Of 12

Bilawal Latif has already published a book at the age of 12. His book titled “Pashtun Heroes” was intended to bring honor to his land and to smash stereotypes. What better way to do that than by writing a book?

bilawal latif

 Why He Wrote The Book

The young Latif was upset by the stereotypes that are perpetrated against the people of his region. People of Peshawar are viewed to either be illiterate or be violent. Latif wanted to highlight those fantastic personalities that have played a fundamental role in Peshawar.

“I wrote the book because I wanted to bring pride to the Pashtoon people. There is a misconception in the West that Pashtoons are illiterate, and I want this thinking to end.”

A writer can source his inspiration form under the sea or over the mountain tops. Latif gained his inspiration by seeing the military rule in action when he moved to Waziristan in 2014. He’s a history buff, prefers libraries for friends, and loves a pleasant stroll in nature. Bilawal also has a knack for exploring the historical sites of Peshawar.

The Process Latif Undertook

The process of writing a book is no small feat, yet Latif fulfilled all its requirements. When you hear him talking about his book, it becomes harder to believe his age or level of education.

bilawal latif

While speaking to the press, he said, “If you want to write a good book, you have to do a lot of research, fact-check things and take out references. My favourite authors, whom I have taken inspiration from, include Olaf Core and Ghani Khan.”

It took Bilawal three years to complete the book he had a vision for. His book includes personalities like Ahmad Shah Abdali, a great warrior. He mentioned that he wanted to highlight those personalities that were genuinely remembered by all.

The Boy Doesn’t Stop.

The good news is that Bilawal has already initiated his second book. This one is about the people of Balochistan. In his interview, he stated that he’d like to appreciate the people of all provinces in separate books. He’s on a mission to get his country and all its people recognized, and we’re in awe of his determination.

All in all, Bilawal is a prime example of a go-getter. He had a vision, and he fulfilled it to the best of his ability. By the time he grows up, we hope there are many best-sellers available under his name!

All You Need To Know About Tesla’s ‘Secret’ Project

Elon Musk has so far been a fortunate man! Tesla stocks are on the rise, his short shorts are a hit, and not to forget that EV demand is higher than ever.

Recently, a publication called Electrek came across something exciting. According to the publication, Musk’s Tesla is working on a secret project called ‘Palladium.’

Palladium is reportedly all about bringing significant upgrades to Tesla’s Model S and Model X.

Moreover, ‘sources’ have shared with Electrek that Tesla is carrying out the secret project code-named ‘Palladium’ at its Fremont factory and Gigafactory Nevada.

What Is Known About Palladium So Far

Tesla Model S and X
PC: Daily Express

Because Elon Musk and Tesla are pretty good at keeping secrets, not many details in regards to this project have surfaced.

However, ‘sources’ have shared that the main essence of the project is to introduce new product lines for both Model S and Model X.

Though at times, it is still very vague about which updates will be equipped with the freshly rolled-out news models. Reportedly, these models will get new modules and drive units.

Furthermore, the ‘sources’ claim that the new powertrain will enable a tri-motor configuration. It is also said to increase the performance as well as the efficiency of the cars.

As per another claim, a ‘source’ has shared that a Tesla employee has referred to the cars as having ‘Model S and Model X Palladium Body.’ This means there’s a good chance we may see a whole new exterior for both the models.

Tesla has been experimenting with prototypes of the Model S Plaid. However, it is still uncertain at this point how many new features it will be introducing with its factory-produced units.

No date or time has been given. However, Tesla celebrates ‘battery day’ in September, which is a good time for him to introduce the new Plaid models to the world.

What’s The Logic Or Science Behind The Name ‘Palladium’

At this point, this is also something that is not known. But, what we do know is that Palladium is one of the six platinum-group metals. It is interesting to add here that the resource is currently being used as catalytic converters in exhaust systems.

We can undoubtedly add here that the price of the resource has shot up in recent times. If Tesla plans to make the Plaid bodies from Palladium, then it may not be pocket friendly for a majority of consumers but more of a premium ride.

Palladium Model S and Model X may just be the first models from Tesla to be equipped with the new battery, which Tesla also has been working on for some time now.

Only time will tell what Elon Musk has up his sleeve!

Till then, stay tuned to Brandsynario for more news and updates.

10 Old Pakistani Food Brands That Millennials Are In Love With!

pakistani food brands

The current era belongs to fascinating people. You know the ones who think Snapchat is cool and Instagram is the new blog? Yes, we are talking about them.

Generation Z can be very picky about their choices. It can be hard to convince millennials, make them agree on something, and make them fall in love with a particular brand or product.

Let’s discuss exciting Pakistani food brands that have ruled our hearts for generations. These products are so fresh; even the millennials couldn’t help but adore them.

10 Movies With Blatant Brand Placements That Were Too Much!

These evergreen food products that will remind you of your childhood as they have remained like a constant, generations after generations.

  1. Pakola

This ultimate bright green drink is loved by Pakistanis living across the world. The delight of spotting Pakola at a foreign restaurant is something that only an overseas Pakistani can relate to. The brand was launched on 14th August 1950, and since then it has been ruling the hearts of Pakistanis.

Though Pakola has also seen its tough days, fortunately, the brand survived the struggling phase and made a comeback better than ever. Millennial or not, you aren’t a true Pakistani if you don’t love Pakola.

2. Top Pops

Everyone born in the 90s loved these puffy, cheesy corn chips, which were sold for rupees 2 at that time. The packet came with a free whistle inside that our parents kept hiding from us. For some time, the manufacturers discontinued it due to the rise in prices of corn and plastic wrapping, but later in 2009, a rupee 5 Top Pops pack was launched.

Of course, most of the 90s born are Top Pop fans, but the oddly-shaped, finger-staining chips can’t be ignored even by the millennials. One can’t imagine a bus ride to a picnic spot without Top Pops, especially when they are available now at various supermarts in family packs.

3. Frooto

Can you even imagine going to Tariq Road or Gulf and not have Frooto? Frooto and chana chats are lethal combinations everyone must try.

You can imagine the popularity of the drink by the fact that for a long time people would refer to any other juice pack as Frooto only. From our school lunch boxes to our trips to parks as kids, Frooto accompanied us everywhere. Love transferred to the coming generations. Nothing makes us prouder than seeing younger people choosing Frooto over any other drink.

4. Cocomo

Eating Choco Chums is one of the fondest memories of our childhood. The yummy, chocolate-filled biscuits were everyone’s favorite. In 1996, Choco Chums were rebranded and launched as Cocomo. Since then, everyone’s been saying “Cocomo Mujhe Bhi Do.”

5. Potato Sticks

Honestly, Potato Sticks are just the best. They bring to you just the right amount of crisp with salt and pepper. It’s one-of-a-kind, the tangy and spicy flavor has been ruling the hearts of Pakistanis of all ages.

6. Prince Biscuit

Though the size of Prince Biscuit has almost reduced to half honestly, this chocolate cream-filled biscuit is hands down the best chocolate sandwich ever. As kids, we remember twisting and licking the chocolate and then eating the rest of it. That’s how all the kids eat even now.

7. Slims

No one in the country can ever resist this extremely desi, Pakistani pack of chips. Can you even imagine having ‘anday wala soup’ or ‘khaousay’ without slims? You obviously can’t avoid the spicy feel that they leave to your tongue as an aftertaste.

8. Jet Sport

As kids, these delicious orange ice lollies were a favorite even though we sometimes had to deal with a sour throat later. These tangy lollies were rebranded as Paddle Pop Jet Sport later by Walls, and just like our childhood, our freezers are still loaded with them during Summers. The low-calorie Lolly is a hit among the millennials, too, for obvious reasons.

9. Rooh Afza

Millennial or not, you can’t survive Ramadan in Pakistan without Rooh Afza. The ‘Mashroob-e-Mashriq’ is a family favorite. Mix it with chilled iced water and lemon or have it with milk, either way, you end up feeling refreshed after having it.

Come on, who are we kidding? As kids, we saw our mothers making biryani with Shan Biryani Masala. As adults, we make biryani from Shan Biryani Masala.

You need biryani now and then as a Pakistani because the craving is real, and no one can avoid it. Biryani and Shan Biryani Masala are synonymous with each other. The millennials probably thank the manufacturers for this little pack filled with flavors.

Last month, Omair Rana’s students at Lahore Grammar School (LGS) accused the actor of sexual misconduct. Omair Rana, the Pyar Ke Sadqay actor, was a dramatics teacher at the school. Yesterday, the Dukhtar actor addressed those allegations in a tweet.

The actor agreed that sexual harassment is a serious crime and that it should be handled with the seriousness in publications. He tweeted, “Sexual harassment is a heinous crime and should be treated with the seriousness that it deserves. At the same time, the dignity and respect of individuals must not be falsely tainted. The law provides remedies for all, and I intend to take all steps necessary …”

The allegations made rounds in June this year. The actor has responded to these allegations for the first time. In June, several students from Lahore Grammar School accused some teachers and other school members of sexual harassment.

The students made these allegations on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. The school management dismissed four members involved in the LGS sexual harassment scandal.

Furthermore, the District Education Authority of Lahore set up a committee to investigate the accused teachers. The students also accused Omair Rana’s wife, Maira Rana, of ignoring the students’ complaints regarding the issue.

They also said that another LGS member, Rubina Shakeel, ignored the students’ complaints regarding sexual harassment at the hands of the male staff. The management later dismissed both Maira Rana and Rubina Shakeel.

The government also took actions of these allegations. Pakistan’s Miniter for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari, tweeted:

Since these allegations, many fellow actors have supported Omair Rana, while many chose not to talk. Senior actresses Seemi Raheel and Hina Bayat Khawaja supported the actor. They commented on the actor’s Instagram post and sent prayers to clear his name from the alleged people.

The actor’s Instagram post translated, “Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.”

5 Life Lessons The COVID-19 Outbreak Has Taught Us

COVID-19 life lessons
source: Al-Jazeera

The global pandemic has caused us to reconsider so much in life. Some people have different priorities than they did months ago. Others are doing things differently in life. Some are learning new skills. Some are also prioritizing their mental and physical health.

COVID-19 has taught us many things in these past few months. It has not only turned our lives upside down, but it has also led us to have a different perspective on life. This is far from the first pandemic humans saw. However, it is the first widely spread pandemic that the modern human saw.

Here are some of the life lessons that the COVID-19 outbreak has taught us:

1. We can control climate change and pollution

The most crucial thing COVID-19 has changed for us is the widespread perception that people can not change the impending threat of climate change. During the lockdown, people witnessed better climate conditions and lesser pollution all over the world. It was evidence that climate change is not something that human beings cannot revert.

2. One can avail education without massive tuition fees

Because of the global pandemic, many well-known educational institutes have shifted to online classes. Students were attending the most prestigious universities in the world from their homes. It compels us to think if this is possible, why pay hefty fees at all?

3. There is no need to shop every weekend

COVID-19 has taught us that one doesn’t need to shop every weekend. Even though many have only switched to online shopping from retail but most people have been shopping lesser since the beginning of the lockdown.

Moreover, we also realized that the world economy is primarily based on wants and luxuries rather than needs. This is because despite having worse financial conditions, most people could still fulfill their needs.

4. The world doesn’t depend on humans

Since the industrial revolution, human life has reached out for more. It was only the recent lockdown that stops most things. It was as if nature reminded us that the world needs a break. During the lockdown, pollution cleared up from the major cities of the world, and wild animals returned to their habitat that had been occupied by humans.

5. Human touch is important

Last but not least, the global pandemic has given us the “Five Feet Apart” feels. It has taught us how important human touch is and how privileged we are to experience that. We never realized the importance of hugs and handshakes until we were told that we could not do that anymore.

What do you think about these lessons that COVID-19 has taught us? Let us know in the comments below.

Haroon

Haroon is one of those singers from the 90’s that we have immensely enjoyed. Some of his songs hold a unique place in our hearts. We have made profound memories while these songs played in the background, such as Mehndi, Mehbooba, Dil says, and so many more!

The singer recently shared his story on Instagram as to how he got his music video for ‘Mehbooba’ at one of the wonders of the world – The Egyptian Pyramids.

Who remembers this one? When I recorded this song I though wow I would love to shoot the video by the Pyramids. I randomly found a production company online in Cairo, immediately booked my ticket and just got on a plane and flew out there for 3 days. In the end they told me I couldn’t afford to shoot by the pyramids and it would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars; and that I should just shoot the video in Pakistan on a fake Egypt set. I was really devastated. The day I was leaving they asked me to play them the song. When they heard it they LOVED it. The lady producer said I love this song so much I will make it happen no matter. She called in a favour from her best friend who was married to the owner of the local Cairo production company that worked on the film Lawrence of Arabia. I came back a couple of weeks later with the Pakistani film crew. Including directors Ahsen Rahim and Amena Khan. There were so many things that could have gone wrong but the stars aligned and this music video went on to be one of my solo biggest hits along with Dil Se Pakistan and Mehndi, and others Ay Jawan, Jadoo Ka Chiragh (with Awaz) #haroon #mehbooba #pakistanifashion #pakistanicelebrities #cairo #musicvideo #pakistan #pakistanisinger

He started narrating his story saying, “Who remembers this one?” Everyone Haroon, literally all of us! You don’t see music videos, such as Mehbooba, in today’s time and age.

He continued by saying, “When I recorded this song, I thought, wow, I would love to shoot the video by the Pyramids. I randomly found a production company online in Cairo, immediately booked my ticket and just got on a plane and flew out there for three days.”

The singer was heartbroken to find out that it wasn’t possible for him to shoot by The Egyptian Pyramids due to budget constraints.” In the end, they told me I couldn’t afford to shoot by the pyramids, and it would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars; and that I should just shoot the video in Pakistan on a fake Egypt set.”

The singer was devastated, but God plays in mysterious ways, “I was devastated. The day I was leaving, they asked me to play them the song. When they heard it, they LOVED it. The lady producer said I love this song so much I will make it happen no matter. She called in a favour from her best friend, who was married to the owner of the local Cairo production company that worked on the film Lawrence of Arabia.”

He then returned to Egypt with the Pakistani crew, “I came back a couple of weeks later with the Pakistani film crew. Including directors Ahsen Rahim and Amena Khan. There were so many things that could have gone wrong, but the stars aligned, and this music video went on to be one of my solo biggest hits”.

Later Haroon’s songs Dil Se Pakistan, Mehndi, Ay Jawan, Jadoo Ka Chiragh (with Awaz) made the cut in the music industry!

We are so happy that the music video came out the way it did! Watch the Video Here:

7 Genius Road-Trip Hacks For A Perfect Getaway!

PC: Kalipi.com.ph

Summer is here and its time to take a nice long vacation! Given that the novel coronavirus pandemic has everyone second-guessing a vacay far from home, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a classic road trip.

Before you head out and hit the road, its always a good idea to be prepared for just about anything, this is especially for those who have a family along with young children.

You never know what awaits you out there! Hence, we have compiled a list of genius road trip hacks that will allow you to enjoy every second you spend in the outdoors.

7 Genius Road-Trip Hacks For A Perfect Getaway!

1. Activities & Toys

PC: Byford Child Care

if you are on the road with your family and you have children accompanying you, be sure you have a few activities in the car to keep them engaged. You can simply pack a coloring book with colored pencils in a ziplock and even a small puzzle too. Many games can be played from inside like “I Spy.”

If you have a baby, you should consider getting an interactive car toy that you can simply place behind the car seat to keep the little one busy. For the children, you should consider buying backseat tables so that they can use it to keep their books and puzzles on.

2. Make Snack Packs

It’s widespread to get super hungry when traveling because it can get exhausting. The best way for you to fight hunger is to make snack packs. You can use ziplock bags or containers to keep something healthy and delicious that will last you on the road.

3. Use Containers As Trash Cans

Suppose you don’t have a proper dustbin or trashcan in the car, it’s not a problem. You can simply use a container (with a lid) instead. This will prevent your vehicle from becoming a garbage truck and stop it from smelling. However, its always best if you buy a car trash bin.

4. Pack Hand Sanitizers

I know what your thinking here, that, of course, we’ll have something to wash our hands within the car. But, did you know that sanitizers do not just clean your hands but also help unjam frosted doors? Mind = Blown!

5. Make Room For Extra Space

PC: Pinterest

If you need more room to place your stuff, you can simply buy a mesh bungee with roof hooks and attach it to the inside of the car. The roof then becomes a special compartment where you can store all the extra stuff you don’t need.

6. Keep A Tube Of Toothpaste In Your Glovebox

This is another two-in-one hack. Yes, toothpaste keeps your teeth nice and clean and tidy, but it also cleans your car’s headlights as well! Traveling on different terrains and through different areas means exposing your vehicle to dust, debris, and lots more other factors.

At night, the headlights can become dim because of the gunk which has gathered on them. Park to the side, take 5 minutes to clean them, and they will once again become super bright to help you as well as other drivers see your position.

7. Sun Shades

Summers are super hot, with the scorching sun outside, a metal car is sure to heat up. The soaring temperature is not suitable for you. While you must keep yourself hydrated, you must also carry sun shades with you.

They will provide relief to you from the sun. The metallic covers for the windscreen and rear window are also a great idea so that if the car is parked, the inside is not super hot!

Baby Feeding Cabins At Lahore Airport Is A Step Towards A Positive Change

Baby feeding cabins are being put up in national airports in Pakistan, which is an amazing and long-due change. Now mothers do not have to travel far and wide on airports to take care of their baby’s needs. Women had been complaining for a long time about the lack of facilities available to a mother at national airports.

Here’s why the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) decision to install them is commendable:

Baby Feeding Is A Huge Taboo

Internationally, there have been many movements on this. Mothers got together to protest about why it’s such a sin to feed their babies. Why must they hide while doing it and not let others know? It’s not as if baby feeding is a taboo only in Pakistan; it is one internationally. As a result, many celebrities put up their pictures of feeding their children while getting their work done.

In Pakistan, however, while citizens did not take this route, they agreed over how difficult it is to feed your baby. Where can a mother possibly go to an airport if she has to feed her baby? Lounges often require memberships or a fee, and washrooms are not suitable. In addition to that, many women themselves also don’t feel comfortable with breastfeeding in public.

The CAA Installed Cabins

Thus, CAA has taken a considerable step forward by installing baby feeding cabins. Currently, they have been installed in Lahore and Islamabad airports. However, the authority promises to implement it in other national airports as well. Moreover, the cabins are located in both international as well as domestic lounges.

Earlier this year, 19 baby care rooms were set up in New Islamabad International Airport.

The Facilitation of Mothers

New mothers have it extremely tough, especially when they’re traveling. An infant is incredibly needy, and the entire process of traveling can get over-whelming to juggle. Most times in a flight, if a baby starts crying, the mother is given frowns and disapproving looks. Knowing that there is a separate, clean, and safe space where they will be able to feed their child relieves a lot of stress.

This step is also a great leap towards treating women better in society. Shunning them for doing something natural yet also not offering an alternative is ridiculous. At least to counter the controversial notion of the act now cabins have been set up to facilitate women.

CAA Saves Face

Just a few weeks ago, and even still, the authority had come under hot waters for issuing fake licenses to pilots. Moreover, they were criticized for not even knowing whether some of its pilots were professionally capable or not. Although a new report has proved that that was a confusing controversy, CAA’s reputation is still damaged.
