Hazim Bangwar – Supermodel Influencer Or New Assistant Commissioner North Nazimabad?

The North Nazimabad neighborhood of Karachi is now being overseen by a supercool, stylish, individual. With his mixed ancestry, Hazim Bangwar is setting out on a mission to transform Pakistan’s bureaucracy. The 30-year-old police officer is from a well-to-do family; his mother is of Iraqi heritage, and his father had previously worked as a police deputy inspector general (DIG). Bangwar had no trouble being amazing and in charge, it might be said. The bureaucrat who recently relocated from New York is eager to help Karachi’s North Nazimabad.

Bangwar, who was born in Karachi on December 30, 1993, relocated to New York and attended Midwood High School. His mother, Feroze Akbar, is from Iraq and is a professional architect. In Pakistan, his father, Ali Akbar Bangwar, held the position of DIG. Bangwar spent six years in London after relocating there, where he completed his first degree in fashion design and marketing from AIU London and a second degree in law from a London-area university.

Bangwar spent his free time in the studios while studying in London, where Evan Rogers heard his demos before sending them to Interscope Records, where Jay Brown, an A&R executive, was one of the first to hear them. Interscope Records CEO Jimmy Lovine signed a two-year contract with Bangwar after hearing the demo.

Achievements 

Hazim released “One Man Army” his debut mixtape for Interscope Records, in 2013 with the lead single “Run Em” which went on to be used by a number of other artists, including Havana Brown. Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. made Bangwar an offer to sign on with Young Money Entertainment as a singer/songwriter after learning that he had written songs for artists like Jessie J, Future, Ciara, Juelz, T-Pain, Jason Derulo, and Nicki Minaj.

Bangwar released “Haram” his debut single, in November 2019. It peaked at #5 in India, #5 in Egypt, #1 in Hungary, and #5 in South Korea. Bangwar became the first Pakistani singer to do so with an English song, making history in the process. Bangwar’s second song, “Hell Ya” which he released in February 2020, debuted at number one in Ghana, as well as in France, South Korea, Austria, and South Korea. He released “Tujhko Bhulaya” his debut Urdu song, in 2021. The accomplished singer also attended major music awards in Hollywood.

Bangwar passed the SPSC exam after arriving back in Pakistan and was hired as a PMS Officer. He is the Karachi Central Assistant Commissioner at the moment.

This Netflix tweet from years ago isn’t holding up well because of Netflix’s crackdown on password sharing. Old tweets might haunt you if you’re in the public glare. You can be a politician, a celebrity, or even the biggest streaming service in the world, and it still applies. This was the tweet.

Nearly 10,000 people have liked the original Netflix tweet as of this writing, with more than half of those being quote retweets of people criticizing the corporation for not changing its methods. But here are some of the reactions from the fans.

 

The Twitter account @PoorlyAgedStuff shared an image of that tweet earlier this week, in a tweet, that’s racked up more than half a million likes. Lamented another Twitter user, regarding that same “Love is sharing a password” quip from Netflix: “@netflix so you guys are going to bang people out for sharing passwords AFTER raising prices, and I just wanted to let you know that I’m out after Ozark. It’s been a fun 12-15 years guys. Godspeed. Love is deleting my account.”

The Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia introduced an electronic service on Monday that would enable travelers who are stopping over in the country to get an entry visa. The transit visa for stopovers enables travelers to Saudi Arabia to do Umrah, go to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, and explore the country. So now, more travelers than ever will be able to visit Saudi Arabia’s unparalleled historical, cultural, and spiritual monuments thanks to the stopover visa, which allows them to stay in the nation for up to 96 hours.

Passengers will be able to apply for a transit visa using Saudia Airlines and Flynas electronic platforms starting on Monday as part of the new service. The application will be instantly forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Unified National Visa Platform for processing. Instantaneously, a digital visa will be issued and returned to the beneficiary through email.

The free visa comes with the traveler’s ticket right away, is valid for three months, allows for a four-day stay in the Kingdom, and is provided right away.

However, no matter how much we try to break this misogynistic notion down there is no running away from it especially now that the topic has sparked a debate on social media for being relevant enough to appear in a highly prestigious Central Superior Services (CSS) exam. Students appearing for the exams take months and even years to prepare for it. Those who are lucky enough to pass the exam get selected for the top beaurucratic posts in the country.

The nature of the extremely outstanding exam makes it one of the most credible ones in the country. However, the topic appeared in the paper on the very first day of the exam. People are shocked to see the extent to which our education system has taken a tumble.

Another user commented on the irrelevancy of the topics and how there was no effort done while trying to pick them out for the exams. Every title looks like a sentence picked from a random book or a piece of reading.

Meanwhile, some users identified the topics as tough and noted that if we ponder on them deeply, these topics are on social issues and can be easily cracked with some common sense by students since they are all about social surroundings.

The first Samsung in-person event in three years was held this year which was presented in front of a crowd at San Francisco’s Masonic Auditorium. On February 1st, at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT, several interesting announcements kicked things off.

Announcing Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus

Despite not being the most thrilling announcement at Unpacked, the plain Samsung Galaxy S23 has all the makings of being another very successful Android device.

It has many of the same characteristics as the current Samsung Galaxy S22, including a 6.1-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, the same 8GB of RAM (8GB), and the same back cameras as previously, just as the leaks had anticipated. In other words, you get a 50MP main sensor along with 3x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor.

The new middle child in the series is the Galaxy S23 Plus if you want the breadth of a 6.6-inch screen. The raised aluminum that had previously ringed the camera array has been removed, giving it a fresh, cleaner appearance. It also sports the same custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU as its smaller sister.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra, an immensely powerful (but also highly costly) flagship phone with a new 200MP primary camera, was the highlight of Samsung’s unpacked presentation. Although it doesn’t completely replace its predecessor, there are some minor upgrades throughout, such as a more durable screen, speedier memory and storage, and a more effective battery.

However, a significant portion of the presentation was devoted to the “pro-level” camera system. The new ISOCELL HP2, which Samsung unveiled ahead of launch, is the first Samsung phone to use a 200MP sensor.

At today’s Android Unpacked, Samsung gave creative folks three Galaxy Book 3 computers in addition to three smartphones. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, which debuted with the laptop’s Pro and Pro 360 versions, is the most powerful. The AMOLED displays on all three will play a significant role in their allure, with the heavier Galaxy Book 3 Ultra also featuring the newest mobile CPU and GPU to appeal to both gamers and visual creators.

While the Ultra version’s price ($2,199.99 / £1,849) is fairly steep (about AU$3,190), it does appear to be an intriguing challenger to high-end gaming laptops and ultra books.

All we saw during the Samsung Galaxy S23 announcement was what is shown above, so there was obviously a lot more than that.

For starters, even though the Galaxy Tab S8 series launched with the Samsung Galaxy S22 range, we didn’t see a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 there.

Given the lack of information on the Tab S9 series, the idea that these slates have been delayed owing to slow sales of the existing models appears probable.

But the two recently announced their breakup. The news has left their fans not only shocked but very sad as well. Jannat and Umer both posted about their breakup on Instagram stories. They chose to part ways, according to Umer Butt. “Hi guys, I think you all need to know this,” he wrote. He stated that it was a mutual decision for Jannat and him to end their relationship. He requested everyone to respect their privacy and give them some personal space. “May Allah grant us what is best for us baqi jo Jisky haq main behter hoga Allah usy naseeb kry. Everyone is really appreciated”. He added.

Railway Fares Escalate Leaving Pakistanis In A Difficult Situation

Pakistan Railways, on Wednesday, announced an increase in rail prices in response to the recent price increase of petroleum products nationwide. Details indicate that the railway ministry increased train tariffs by 8% effective immediately. All trains and classes, with the exception of Green Line, will see a fare hike. A spokeswoman for Railways stated in a statement that the ministry decided to hike the fares as a result of the recent increase in diesel costs, which added an additional burden of more than Rs10 million per day.

It is important to note that Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has announced a 35-rupee increase in the price of gasoline and diesel per liter, effective as of January 29. Ishaq Dar claimed during a televised speech that the cost of gasoline goods had increased by 11% on the global market. Dar also disclosed an increase of Rs. 18 per liter in the price of light fuel and kerosene. Petrol will cost Rs 249.80, diesel Rs 262.80, kerosene oil Rs 189.83, and light diesel Rs 187 after the most recent round of price increases.

The minister also said that there had not been a rise in petroleum product prices over the previous four months and noted that diesel and kerosene oil prices had also fallen during that time. The minister continued by stating that the rumors had also caused a fictitious scarcity of petroleum products on the market.

Nike and Tiffany have rolled out new products as part of their recent collaboration and the designs have our jaws dropped. Rumors started going around about the possible collab as soon as a picture of Nike’s Jordan Air Force 1 sneaker featuring its logo in the iconic Tiffany’s color went viral on social media.

The brands then officially announced the news about launching multiple limited-edition sterling silver accessories collections as well.

All set to drop on March 7, the Nike sneakers are named ‘Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837s’. The sneakers are designed to honor the 40th anniversary of Nike’s Air Force 1. Maria B Calls Out Drama “Kuch Ankahi” For Promoting Movie “Joyland”

She just called out the most recent Sajal Aly drama for “promoting Joyland” and covertly advancing an “agenda”. In her latest drama, Sajal Aly was seen in a scene standing next to a poster of the movie “Joyland” which recently caused an uproaring controversy amongst Pakistani audiences.

Kuch Ankahi, for fans of Pakistani drama, is a light take on serious matters. Viewers of all ages are hooked by its subtly challenging gender stereotypes, depiction of platonic bonds, and inclusive and relatable plot. It stars some fan favorites like Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas.

Since the first episode of the serial aired, people have been loving it. It has been trending on Youtube and the number of views has already crossed the 5M+ mark. Designer Maria Butt, also known as Maria B, is pressed, though. The businesswoman shared a screenshot of the program on her Instagram story to express her disapproval of how dramas are currently subtly endorsing Joyland and transgender people.

She wrote, “We also have dramas promoting Joyland/transgenders subliminally. We are not stupid. We get it!” She asked fellow Pakistanis to “wake up,” she urged, “see the new agenda.” The designer clarified, “Rather than trying to save Pakistan, we are selling our religious identity.” 

Butt also wrote about the fight for the rights of our intersex community, in another Instagram story. They have endured 75 years of torment and now the rights of actual intersex individuals are being taken over by transgender communities. We’ll keep fighting to end this injustice. She added. Maria’s most recent criticism of Joyland, which features a transgender performer and a trans love story, is a part of her ongoing campaign against transgender rights.

Fans have already picked sides. People against Maria B are mostly supporters of the LGBTQ+ and transgender community. Supporting her are the people who are strongly opinionated about Islamic principles, wrongs, and rights.

The Engineering Development Board (EDB), in partnership with the Pakistan Mobile Phone Manufacturers Association, recently conducted a summit to highlight the industry’s vast potential (PMPMA). At this event, 31 regional manufacturers were present. This included the biggest mobile phone manufacturers in Pakistan producing renowned brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, ZTE, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Tecno, Infinix, Itel, G’FIVE, VNUS, Mobo Mobile, Digit, Dcode, Nokia, VgoTel, Qmobile, E-TACHI, Club, Calme, MeMobile, Hello Tech, Gresso, Emarat, Oukitel, MaxFone, Spice Mobile, Go Mobile, Faywa, Kechaoda, Pritel, SEGO, Sparx and Xmobile.

The purpose of the event was to solicit feedback on local mobile phone manufacturing from all relevant stakeholders in order to design a roadmap for growth that would maximise industry output and benefit the local population. Industry experts acknowledged the enormous potential of local production to strengthen the economy of the nation, produce exports, and support a burgeoning workforce.

Pakistan started producing smartphones in 2015. The sector did not experience a significant change due to the third-world nation’s status and the lack of a policy platform. However, following 2018, the market for mobile products in the nation started to boom. More than $200 million was invested in the industry by local businesses. The Pakistani government created the first mobile device manufacturing policy as a result of this circumstance.

Major industry experts and government representatives were present at the event, and they spoke with participants about the possibilities of local mobile manufacturing in Pakistan. According to officials, if the local mobile industry grows at a healthy rate and receives backing from the government, it may contribute $14 billion to the nation’s coffers. The audience is given a number of justifications to support their presumption.

First off, Pakistan offers a cheap and accessible labour pool. An extensive workforce is needed to operate a local mobile phone assembly facility due to the labor-intensive nature of the sector.
