Karachi, March 13th, 2021: Reckitt Benckiser (RB), makers of Dettol, reiterated its purpose to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner and healthier world, in a meeting with the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, said, “This is the kind of sheer determination and will power we need when it comes to improving health and hygiene for all citizens and not just the ones who can afford it. The Twitterati who had bashed them earlier started asking the university to re-enroll them in the university. They were doing this because now, according to them, the couple was in line with their specified moral compass.

In recent news, the couple was spotted in another viral clip. They are seen walking hand in hand. Well, actually, it’s Shehryar Rana, walking alongside a girl. But the girl’s arm only is visible. This could be due to the fact that the girl has been labelled negatively quite a lot. And they want to divert the attention from her.

[March 16th, 2021]: The couple that went viral with the girl proposing a guy on the premises of the University of Lahore had gotten expelled after the public backlash. They had brought in religious and moral values demanding from the university to take action.

It was reported in a local print publication that the couple just got married.

The girl in the video also tweeted Alhamdolillah and the boy replied to the tweet with an emoji. This hints that they actually did get married.

Now, the public is certainly confused because earlier they had demanded the university take action, and now that the couple is married, they are demanding that the university take them back.

As one can expect, girls would get bashed more than boys even though they were both involved in the same incident; it was a similar case with them. Shehryar Rana, the boy in question, has finally released a statement tackling the criticism.

He requested the public to stop using labels such as ‘characterless’ for the girl, and if they really want to use them, then they should use it for him and not her.

In this clip, the people are at the University of Lahore. And the chances are that they are university students. He further states that,

“On a lot of these three-day diets, people end up losing so much water they get dehydrated,” he says. Moreover, one may also experience symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, and dizziness.

2. Slow Metabolism 

The metabolism rate will automatically drop once one has less muscle. Once the metabolism drops low, one would stop losing weight, which results in a slow metabolism even if they stop dieting.

“Calories should be viewed as fuel, and if you view food in that manner, then drastically cutting calories means depriving your body of the fuel it needs to function,” Kirkpatrick says. For example, if one omits all calories from fats from their diet, their body would not be able to absorb fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E, and K.

4. Tiredness and low in energy

Since one’s eating less, they would feel tired, sluggish, and sleepy. More importantly, they might be skipping essential food such as red meat or beans that are rich in iron, which delivers oxygen to their body cells. If the consumption of iron is less, this will result in tiredness and lack of sleep.

5. Menstrual Irregularities

If you’re a female who’s looking forward to going on a diet, this is important. During dieting, since one eats less, your estrogen levels may drop, and your period may get delayed, or you may just miss them. Now that gives the image an uneasy feeling and increases the ‘Gross’ factor of the dish. It is mixing up a sweet delight with a salty delight. There does not seem to be a logical reasoning behind the combination, save because the user wanted to annoy other people.

However, after many negative reactions and tweets, the user decided to post another picture. This second picture was one of an assortment of sweets on a plate. The user had posted this in an attempt to make up for the previous post. However, that did not stop Twitter from making hilarious tweets!

It is quite understandable that people wish to try new tastes. There is nothing wrong with trying out a combination. However, it might not be advisable to post about such an abomination on the internet. The Netizens with gobble that news up like chow!

Match.com had a very creative outlook where they cleverly employed 2020 in a parallel with satan. They assigned characters to both of them and matched them together. In a world that has lost all color and lockdowns have been imposed, the two characters have quite the fun as they date each other.

Do you remember how the whole world (almost) went into lockdown? Well, what happened was that all the fast-food brands had to shut off business as well. Another time, the actress took to social media, saying that people should not get consumed into beauty standards; the need to use beauty filters as is common in today’s world should not be rampant. She said people should own their skin. But the viewers thought it to be hypocritical because she herself was using a filter in that particular video.

Hania tried clearing the air that she is not against Instagram filters. So in another of her stories, she took to Instagram saying she is using her filter, she loves using various filters, and she will continue to do so because filters are very much a part of our lives now. She further states that in this video, too, she has a filter on, and otherwise, she does not have too high of cheekbones or very full lips.

In Pakistan, Sarmad Khoosat’s Zindagi Tamasha never saw the light of the day. After the first teaser’s release, the film was deemed controversial, and the teaser was removed from youtube. The film was set to release on 24 January 2020 under the banner of Khoosat Films. But later was banned from release in Pakistan.

However, the film was acclaimed internationally. First, Zindagi Tamasha was premiered at the 24th Busan International Film Festival under the section ‘A Window on Asian Cinema.’ It was awarded the Kim Ji-Seok Award at Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.

The movie was also submitted for Oscar consideration in the International Feature Film Award category for the 93rd Academy Awards. This was the first official Oscar entry for Pakistan. However, the movie was eliminated from the first voting round.

Latest Achievement Of Khoosat’s 

Fast forward, the movie has now bagged the Snow Leopard Award for Best Film at the 6th Annual Asian World Film Festival. The award ceremony was held on March 15. The director of the film Sarmad Khosat received an award from the jury member Luba Balagova Kandoor.

The film’s lead actor, Arif Hassan, was awarded the Best Actor for his performance in the film.

According to the official synopsis, Zindagi Tamasha, or Circus of Life, is “an intimate portrait of a family as well as a scorching political commentary on little gods on this earth who police our private passions.”

Letter To The Prime Minister 

Following the threats before the release of the feature film, Sarmad Khoosat opened up in a letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan stating,

“I did not make Zindagi Tamasha to hurt, offend or malign anyone.” “It’s a story about a ‘good enough Muslim’ — there was/is no mention of a sect, party, or faction of any sort. Neither in the uncensored version nor the censored one. If a bearded man is to be generically called a molvi, then trust me, this is/was a film about a good molvi. An empathetic and heartfelt story of a bearded man who is so much more than just that. He is a human being portrayed through a very humane eye. Well, forget it!”

Sarmad Khoosat’s contribution to the Pakistani film industry has been a highlight for a few years, as he keeps shedding light on societal issues in his own way.
