Baaghi drama on Urdu1 has wowed us with its last episode! Saba Qamar left us all in aghast with her stunning performance.

The episode unveiled the strong-headed Kanwal standing up for her family, not only supporting her parents but also her vile bhai and bhabi though their hard times.

In the beginning of this epic episode, we saw Fauzia, making up her mind on shifting his father to a better hospital in the city for his treatment.

Despite her parents not agreeing with this decision, the social media starlet takes this step for her family. Being a daughter who left her all for her family, she also arranges the best living spot for her them.

We also witnessed Rehan playing the role of a sincere and loyal friend of Kanwal.

He didn’t give a second thought when Kanwal asked him for Rs. 2 Lacs. Although Rehan has been constantly telling the diva to not spend all the money on her family, and keep some money for her own self when asked where Kanwal keeps herself in her life, her heart-touching dialogue stole the show in this scene:

“Main kahan hoon meray dost? Main to kahin bhi nahi hoon.”

We also saw Kanwal going beyond her limits for the sake of her family when she agrees to do modeling for a video song.

Kanwal’s sexy grooves took the media by storm!

When Shehryar saw the video, he felt really bad for his dear one and decided to call her right away. Upon being asked why Kanwal do this, and that she should stop doing all this, the media sensation replies “biwi thori nahi hoon ap ki. Ap ko kyon bura lag raha hay?”

“Main tumharay page pay Kanwal Baloch nahi, Fauzia Batool ko dekhna chahta hoon”.

OKB’s brilliant performance in this episode is also worth mentioning. His dialogue delivery and his outstanding acting made us all go gaga over the handsome hunk.

Shehryar then takes Kanwal out for dinner, where they both poured out their hearts to each other. The successful businessman listening to Kanwal’s problems said that she should have asked him for financial help if she needed money rather than doing such a dance.

The instant reply by the stunning actress was:

“Bheek maangnay say to behtar hay na haath paun hilana”.

At the end of this episode, we saw Fauzia’s bhai and bhabi coming to meet Fauzia. They were seen buttering up the soft-hearted lady, as their sole intention was to borrow some money from her.

It has been reported by IDC Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker that phone companies shipped a total of 344.3 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2017. Huge Quantity of Dead Animal Meat Discovered in Lahore

You can never be sure what you are eating in Lahore. Every now and then, there is a crackdown going on against restaurants, leading to shocking discoveries regarding expired, substandard and even ‘haram’ food being traded in the city.

For those who have forgotten, two years back, donkey meat was discovered being reportedly sold in Punjab’s capital!

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) even seized a large amount of suspected pig meat during a raid in the name of beef and mutton.

And now, a huge quantity of dead cattle meat was uncovered in Lahore and was apparently being supplied to various butcher shops in town.

As many as  10,000 kilograms of meat of dead animals were found during an action taken in Shera Kot Bakar Mandi area of the city.

It was discovered that that dead, sick animals were slaughtered and their harmful meat was later supplied in Lahore.

Lahoris should take note of the adulterated, substandard carcass meat avidly being sold in the metropolis and be cautious from where they are buying their meat for cooking.

Pakistan to Send Astronauts into Space Soon!

Pakistan will soon be sending its own astronauts into space by 2020 in a collaboration with China.

This news was announced by Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman. This news was announced at the AirTech’17 conference which was organized by Air University in Islamabad on Thursday.

Air Tech is the biggest technical and scientific Olympiad of Pakistan, the conference is being held from 7th- 10 December at Air University-Main Campus.

Cheif Marshal Aman also added that the Chinese are working on a next-generation aircraft along with Pakistan an are providing technical support throughout the entire program.

While emphasizing the importance of national defense, Aman further said that yearly Pakistan produces 16 to 20 JF-17 aircraft that in comparison to F-16 planes are better in performance.

He concluded saying, “No doubt, Pakistani students are talented, intelligent and hard-working but to achieve success in life goals, unconditional faith, firm commitment and tireless struggle are essential.”

The viral cryptocurrency Bitcoin has made a name for itself in no time. Throughout 2017, the currency has seen a drastic rise in its value which was around $1,000 in January and crossed over $17,000 before falling just below $15,000.

However, there are many people who want to get their hands on the currency, and they are willing to do anything to get it.

Unfortunately, individuals get trapped in scams and scammers get away with just about anything.

One example of this is a tweet by @Joshwilkyyy, who’s claiming that he’ll give five lucky folks the chance to own some bitcoin, has now racked up over 20,000 retweets.

Now, why would someone give away 5 Bitcoins which are valued somewhere at $75,000 to random strangers?

That’s not all, another person on Twitter, Travis Weaver, posted the same exact promise an hour earlier.

He’s at over 80,000 retweets and claims that tomorrow at 6PM, he’ll pick the winners. A handful of other copycats have racked up hundreds of their own retweets with a similar promise.

The only reason these guys are doing this is that they want to increase their followers and have their tweets go viral so that more people can come across their Twitter handle and profiles.

According to the Verge, there’s no proof that Travis, or anyone else making this offer, really have the bitcoin to give away. He’s never even tweeted about bitcoin before, which means that this is definitely not short of a fraud.

As of now, both accounts have not shared any information about who the winners are, and no proof of them giving away the Bitcoins.

Bitcoin has once again taken everyone by surprise as it blew past yet another colossal benchmark!

This time, the cryptocurrency surpassed the $16,000 benchmark after climbing some 67% in over one week.

However, Bitcoin tumbled more than 14% in volatile Asian trading on Friday, dropping below the $15,000 level after touching a record high above $17,000 earlier in the session.

Can it be an alarming warning that the bubble is actually about to burst?

There have already been several issues with the currency, on one hand, while some are predicting its end, others are calling it a fraud, and some are saying it’s a precious metal and a good medium of exchange.

“It will hit potentially $20,000 because so much capital is coming in and it’s the most liquid secure coin out there,” said David Drake, founder and chairman of DLJ Capital, a family office in New York.

The digital currency began the year below $1,000 and its gains have accelerated as investor interest grows.

PSL 2018 Schedule Revealed; Karachi & Lahore to Host Final Playoffs

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shared the schedule for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 and has forwarded it to the franchises for final confirmation.

According to the schedule, the first match will take place on 22nd February and the final match will be played on 25th March.

The opening match of the tournament will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans – the sixth team added this year.

The matches will be distributed amongst the UAE and Pakistan, with Karachi and Lahore to be hosting the finals, whereas Abu Dhabi has been dropped from the list. The official announcement for PSL – 3 will be made next week, a source related to the matter declared.

“A total of 34 matches will be played at four venues next year. The venues [as of now] are Dubai, Sharjah, Lahore, and Karachi,” the sources said. “Initially, Abu Dhabi was also among the proposed venues but it wasn’t logistically possible for us to have the matches there,” they added.

“As we speak, the final [has been] confirmed for Karachi, while two play-offs will be played in Lahore,” the sources said.

Apple Rumored to launch LCD iPhone with Metal Back in 2018!

Apple is rumored to bring 3 new iPhones to the market in 2018!  A new report from Nikkei has revealed that Apple’s upcoming smartphone lineup will feature a metal back similar to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

One of the iPhones will be a 6.1-in LCD display phone with a metal back. Its still not sure if the iPhone will be called iPhone9 or XI but it is being said to have a single change in its design and it is the metal back.

With this change comes the addition of colors, as this aluminum body will feature several new colors.

While the other two handsets with 5.8 and the 6.3-inch screen will feature OLED displays and metallic back.

Another source claims that  Casetek, a supplier of Apple has been experimenting with new casing designs for the 2018 LCD iPhone.

There is still no official word yet about the iPhones, however, as the time nears in, we will find out more details about the handsets.

600 Students to Get Free Laptops in Punjab!

The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will be awarding laptops and other prizes to 600 students who have performed brilliantly from 400 technical colleges over Punjab.

The Chairman of TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh mentioned that the board will award outstanding students with excellent percentages in exams as well as position holders of the Annual Examination of Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE).

Irfan Qaiser Sheikh further added,

“Students with the top three position in PBTE annual examinations will also be awarded with a special prize.”

The TETVA Chairman cited the reason for these awards were to further motivate students and create a sense of competition between them and to reward the students who have worked extremely hard. These students have managed to put Pakistan on the global map.

Awards Distribution as per Quota

The following quota will be followed for the distribution of awards from 400 TEVTA colleges in Punjab:

  1. 252 Students of Diploma in Associate Engineering DAE which is offered in 28 trades.
  2. 126 students of the two-year diploma
  3. 108 students from the one-year diploma
  4. 72 students from the two-year vocational diploma
  5. 36 students from the one-year vocational diploma

Samsung Galaxy S9+ Render Hints Infinity Display!

Samsung’s Galaxy S9+ is not far from its official launch, and since the days are approaching even faster, rumors have started to shower from all angles.

Recently, a rendered image of the phone has revealed a massive feature, the awaited for Infinity Display! Asides that, several reports have disclosed details about the color,  accessories, and has offered us a glimpse at the claimed specs of the device.

One thing which we notice at first look is the rear-panel which is something Samsung will do differently if they go with the idea.

The camera should have a vertical orientation, with a repositioned fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy S9+ is expected to sport a dual-lens camera as well, while the Galaxy S9 will sport a single-lens camera.

The image hints that the S9+ will be similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S8, official announcements are still yet to be made from the manufacturing giant.

Indian Astrologer Predicts 5 Devastating Terror Attacks in Pakistan

Last month, an Indian man’s earthquake warning for Pakistan and other Asian states went viral on the internet, creating a wave of fear amongst people.

Now an Indian astrologer, Anirudh Kumar Mishra‏ has sent shock waves and has baffled Pakistani lawmakers by predicting back to back terrorist attacks in the nation.

In October, Kumar tweeted that a terrorist attack will hit Pakistan in November. And shockingly, the attack did happen.

On December 1, a band of terrorists cloaked in “burqas” attacked Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Peshawar, killing 13 people and injuring over 30 others.

The astrologer later tweeted that the prediction was accurate, but he also acknowledged that he was off by one day.

Next, he made another mind-boggling prophecy by tweeting that as many as 5 terrorist attacks will ht Pakistan until February 2018.

These predictions have caused a furor and panic among Pakistani lawmakers who are now accusing Indian intelligence agencies of being involved in all the attacks.

Apparently, this astrologer also foretold a terror attack in U.S.A & it came true! 

And he was envisioned a much horrible disaster on the global front

Are these real prophecies or just mere guesses by the astrologist, let’s wait and watch!

 

 

 

London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Visit to Pakistan [In Pictures]

After a Bollywood style welcome in India, the popular London mayor Sadiq Khan is all set to make a grand visit to Pakistan and the citizens are all set to shower him with love.

In order to promote, London is Open’ campaign, the mayor is on a six-day tour to India and Pakistan, aiming to strengthen ties between the nation and the British capital.

The iconic moment was when he entered Pakistan from India via the Wagah Border Crossing. He was received on the Pakistani side of the border by Mayor Lahore Col (retd) Mubashar and senior government officials.

For those who don’t know, he is the first British politician to make the journey from India to Pakistan via Wagah Border.

Manchester United PL – 2017/18 Report Card

Everything began with a win against West Ham at Old Trafford in which Romelu Lukaku scored twice.

Sad news for shawarma fans as the European Parliament is deciding to ban the phosphates necessary to keep the seasoned kebab meat moist and flavorful.

 

The shawarma that is more popularly known as ‘doner kebabs’ in Europe is under threat and could be banned across the continent.

The EU lawmakers are citing health concerns based on studies that linked phosphates to cardiovascular disease. The change in the EU rules has infuriated takeaways and fast-food enthusiasts.

Fueling the brouhaha is that sausages containing phosphates are allowed to be sold in EU countries while shawarma meat is under trouble. Some vendors have called it a discrimination to deliberately target the doner-kebab businesses.

Renate Sommer, a member of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative party in the European Parliament, took to Facebook to share his views on the issue.

“a ban of the phosphate addition would be the end of shawarma production and would lead to the loss of thousands of jobs.”

The fate of the doner lies in the full EU parliament that is set to vote on the issue after two weeks in Strasbourg.

Dubai Witnesses Massive Decline in Rents

The rise in property prices has been an ongoing issue over the years. The increasing costs have made it extremely difficult for people to afford rent for places in major cities such as Dubai, New York, and London amongst many others.

However, surprisingly according to reports, Dubai’s premium residential neighborhoods have been losing their rental value as per the latest data compiled by a real estate consultancy firm.

For those Pakistanis who have been wanting to move to Dubai, this is your chance as rents in Dubai have never been cheaper before!

It has been discovered that rents in Dubai Marina where one bedroom flats cost up to Dh 95,000 (PKR 279,000) per annum have now shown a steep decline in leasing rates registering at a whopping 19% drop. The figure has been recorded in September 2017 by Asteco.

The third quarter of 2017 has seen rates fall by 12% of renting a flat in Dubai as compared to last year. The demand for properties seems to have fallen as a huge supply is available. New high-rise towers have been popping up everywhere in Downtown Burj Khalifa where landlords have lowered their rates compared to other locations. The overall rent in the area has been recorded having a decline of 18%.
