The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will be awarding laptops and other prizes to 600 students who have performed brilliantly from 400 technical colleges over Punjab.

The Chairman of TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh mentioned that the board will award outstanding students with excellent percentages in exams as well as position holders of the Annual Examination of Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE).

Irfan Qaiser Sheikh further added,

“Students with the top three position in PBTE annual examinations will also be awarded with a special prize.”

The TETVA Chairman cited the reason for these awards were to further motivate students and create a sense of competition between them and to reward the students who have worked extremely hard. These students have managed to put Pakistan on the global map.

Awards Distribution as per Quota

The following quota will be followed for the distribution of awards from 400 TEVTA colleges in Punjab:

  1. 252 Students of Diploma in Associate Engineering DAE which is offered in 28 trades.
  2. 126 students of the two-year diploma
  3. 108 students from the one-year diploma
  4. 72 students from the two-year vocational diploma
  5. 36 students from the one-year vocational diploma
