10 Tearjerker Movies You Can Watch During This Lockdown

tearjerker movies

Not everyone enjoys a movie that will leave them in tears, but something is comforting about a cathartic cry. Maybe watching a sad film in the middle of a global pandemic isn’t your idea of escapism. Or perhaps you’d rather have another reason to cry it out. Don’t worry; there are happy endings in some of these plot lines – just tread carefully.

Some of these movies will leave you wanting to call your mom, dad, grandma, sister, brother, or best friend. Others will make you want to dip into a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and stay in bed for a few extra hours. Either way, clear your schedule.

Here are 10 of our top picks for you during this lockdown, and we guarantee you will love them all.

1. Pursuit of Happyness

This movie is will certainly leave you sobbing if you’re a softy like me. The tale revolves around Chris Gardner (Will Smith) and his young son (Jaden Smith), who have been evicted from their apartment with nowhere to go. Chris takes on an unpaid internship and does everything he can to ensure that his little family has a better life.

2. A Walk to remember

This probably is the most underrated Nicholas Sparks tear-jerker. Shane West and Mandy Moore star as two teens who are poles apart from each other, but after episodes of drama between them, the two fall head over heels with each other. They might be kids, but their love comes up against some real adult stuff. Plus, the soundtrack of the movie is a treat for your ears.

3. Goodwill Hunting

Will Hunting (Matt Damon) has an impressively high IQ but works as a janitor at MIT. However, after school hours, Will solves an impossible math equation, and his talent is discovered by Professor Gerald Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgård). But a hiccup comes in between, and Will gets arrested. He then vows to get help from therapist Sean Maguire (Robin Williams).

4. Inside Out

This is a personal favorite, and if you better grab a tissue box because those tears ain’t stopping once you press play on this treat. Nothing quite brings on the feeling like an animated film about them. Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) has a lot of emotions, and this movie examines all of them through cartoon personifications voiced by Amy Poehler, The Office’s Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, and more.

5. The Notebook

How many of you girls grew up in the hopes of finding someone like Noah? Ryan Gosling (Noah) and Rachel McAdams (Allie) received most of the attention in this Nicholas Sparks drama. Still, it was Gena Rowlands and James Garner who brought home the emotional impact of this happy/ sad love story of a couple who genuinely stay together forever.

6. Coco

You should completely trust Disney/Pixar to make an animated kids movie about death that entertains children while reducing adults to sobbing messes. Coco focuses on themes of family and preserving the memory of those who came before you. It’s also visually stunning, taking you through the world of the dead as well as the living.

7. Hitachi

I don’t remember crying so much over any movie, but this. Starring Richard Gere, the plot is based on a true story and is about a professor who finds an abandoned dog and takes him home. Over some time, he forms an unbreakable bond with the dog that most humans are unable to build.

8. The Help

The movies feature an ensemble cast, including Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, Allison Janney, Octavia Spencer, and Emma Stone. The film and novel recount the story of a young white woman and aspiring journalist Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan and her relationship with two black maids who are the victim of racism.

9. LION

The plot revolves around a young Indian boy who gets separated from his family, borne away on a train that takes him thousands of miles from home. He is then taken in and raised by a loving family, but as a grown-up (played by Dev Patel), he yearns to find the family he lost.

10. The theory of everything

This movie is based on the life of Stephen Hawking and is a part biopic and part love story. The plot revolves around an excellent astrophysics student working on his research, learns that he suffers from motor neuron disease, and has around two years to live.

5 Car Sounds That Should NEVER be Avoided!

5 Car Sounds That Should NEVER be Avoided!

Cars, unlike humans, are unable to communicate verbally. However, they communicate with their owners through sound.

When a car is running perfectly fine, the driver will enjoy the smooth performance on the road.

However, when something is wrong, an indication will hint to the driver that they need to visit a mechanic right away.

But, it is also important to remember that some old cars make sounds even when everything is alright.

This is why drivers need to understand the sounds and what indication they are giving.

Here are five sounds that you shouldn’t avoid!

1. Hissing or Chirping Engine

If you can hear constant chirping or hissing coming from the engine while you drive, take your car to a mechanic right away. This noise can be caused by worn-out brakes, which may not be able to stop your vehicle at a safe distance if ignored.

2. Squealing or Grinding Brakes

Brakes at times make groaning and grinding and squealing noises when the pads are damp.

3. Exhaust Roars

According to kwit-fit, a chugging sound could mean a blockage in the exhaust system. If you hear rattling under the car, it could mean that the exhaust system has become misaligned. If you can listen to a loud metallic vibration, it usually means that something is touching the exhaust pipe or that a clamp, support bracket or mounting is loose.

4. Rattling Steering Wheel

This happens right when you turn your steering wheel; it could be a bad tie rod end or other ball joints in your steering linkage. Whereas if it happens while driving over a bump, it could be a ball joint connected to your steering knuckle.

5. Tapping from Engine

A car engine makes tapping noises when there could be one of the following issues:

  • low oil pressure
  • excessive valve lash
  • worn or damaged parts.

  • The chief secretaries of all provinces have been directed to reduced prices of all the commodities associated with oil prices to provide maximum relief.

Special Assistant to the PM on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nishtar explained that a web portal had been set up. She further mentioned that a total of Rs. 81 Billion had already been disbursed to 6.8 million families in just 2 to 3 days under the Ehsaas Programme.

COVID-19: 5 Ways Brands Should Change Their Communication

The world is dealing with an ongoing crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, and the aftermath is expected to be worse. The marketing sector is facing quite a dilemma on how to go about the situation at hand.

While some are continuing to communicate with the masses through various campaigns, most brands are showing their social responsibilities to society during this crucial time. However, whether this would, in turn, grant them brand recall, generate more significant sales shortly or create a positive impact on the consumers’ mind remains a question.

As people stay indoors during a lockdown, the sales loss is meant to be massive for the travel, entertainment, and food & beverage industry, but the same effect applies to all products and brands for at least the next quarter.

Here’s how the brand should provide their marketing communications during COVID-19

1. Highlight How Your Brand Can Help

During this crucial time, brands must highlight how they can help the society, being socially responsible and showing empathy with creating a renewed brand image in the mind of the consumer.

Pepsi Co has initiated the #MilllionsofMeals campaign, where they are going to feed an additional meal for every plate raised.

Mc Donalds’ on the other hand, has paid tribute to all the frontline workers putting their lives at risk for the public. They have distributed free meals to the police force and have pledged to give out free breakfast to all the medical staff.

Jazz provides free calls to all doctors and government hospitals!

2. Evaluate Your Imagery and Language

Brands must pay attention to detail during the pandemic; people are sensitive to various images, and communication at this time should not hurt any sentiments. Visual imagery is powerful, and so it is imminent that companies think carefully about the message they are sending.

Reem Rice communicated their message on social distancing expertly with encouraging people to stay at home! Clever marketing indeed.

3. Create an action-oriented communication

Marketing communications can have a massive impact on consumer minds; in a situation like the one we are facing right now, brands can send out the right message across. “Stay Safe, Stay Home.” says Jazz. It then asks its customers to connect with their loved ones through Jazz.

The most crucial precaution to save oneself from the deadly virus is washing our hands frequently; personal hygiene brands, Dettol, and Safeguard repeatedly share the benefits of washing hands with soap and water. Not only does it remind consumers to maintain personal hygiene, but it also increases their product sales.

4. Be positive, but not ignorant

Tapal asks the country to stay healthy with the message, “Hope Brews Strong” during this time and also announces to help out those in need by donating thousands of teabags in ration packs across the country. The brand has not only created an air of positivity with their message but, at the same time, showing that they are not ignoring the crisis and are doing their part in helping out the nation.

5. Adjust Marketing Campaigns

As Pakistan went into lockdown, various clothing brands began offering discounts, while some are continuing to do so. This practice was not liked by people and offended many. Brands need to put off campaigns that would seem inappropriate during the ongoing crisis.

EBM announced it would be using its marketing communication budgets to help out people in need. This was a great initiative by the brand as it put off its campaigns to use that money where it is truly needed at the moment!

So, be very careful about your strategies amid a crisis.

6 Reasons to Watch Aksbandh: Pakistan’s Found Footage Horror Film

Following the success of films like Jawani Phir Nahi Aani, Moor, Manto and Mah-i-Mir, the industry is coming up with its first found footage horror film titled “Aksbandh”

Aksbandh is a story of six friends filming a horror movie. The adventurous fun trip gets out of control when one of them gets possessed by a supernatural presence and they find themselves in a mix of paranormal activities.

Watch the trailer here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p08B0KMWwnM

The cast of Aksbandh features fresh new talent Bilal Yousufzai, Danial Afzal Khan, Saud Imtiaz, Shehzeen Rahat, Mahrukh Rizvi and Arshad Ali along with Ayaz Samoo who has also co-produced the venture. Directed by Emran Hussain, the screenwriting has been carried out by both Samoo and Hussain.

Team Brandsynario sat down with the lead cast and crew of Aksbandh to dissect the theme and ideas behind the making of the film. The jolly lot was excited to share their views and experience and we found 6 reasons to watch Aksbandh.

Here are the 6 reasons that make Aksbandh worth a watch!

1. Pakistan’s first found footage horror film

Aksbandh Movie Trailer

Aksbandh is Pakistan’s first found footage horror film, produced by Cinematic Media and Big Idea Entertainment. Found footage are shot to resemble actual camera footage recovered from an event and a large number of films using this approach tend to be horror. Hollywood has explored this genre a number of times with films like “Blair Witch Project” and “Paranormal Activity” but it remains unexplored in Pakistan, until now.

2. A strong storyline

Since Aksbandh is a low budget film, it does not rely on a start studded cast for success. The story and the fact that it is made on an unexplored genre remains its strongest element, unique selling proposition and hope for success.

3. Fresh faces and new talent

Aksbandh Cast

The cast of Aksbandh features fresh new talent Bilal Yousufzai, Danial Afzal Khan, Saud Imtiaz, Shehzeen Rahat, Mahrukh Rizvi and Arshad Ali along with the actor, model, writer, comedian, producer, VJ, Ayaz Samoo who is the only familiar face. He won great appreciation and an award for his outstanding performance in a negative role in Moor. Revealing a little about his role in Askbandh the actor said that he plays a comic character in the horror film as comedy remains his first love.

4. Experience visual effects in a Pakistani film like never before

Special visual and sound effects have been used to create the horror feel for the film and to portray the paranormal activity. Shifting from too realistic to the dramatic visuals that the Pakistani audience demands, this film is made combining both international and national cultures. (Hint: You will witness ghosts)

5. If you love the horror genre

[fb_embed_post href=”https://www.facebook.com/aksbandh/videos/vb.763385150443212/904703176311408/?type=3&theater/” width=”550″/]

If you love horror and you want Pakistan to keep experimenting with this genre, you should watch this film. Shot in a spooky abandoned location near Drigh Lake Larkana, Aksbandh promises to scare you enough to make you jump from your seat and claw the person sitting next to you. Because after all, what’s the point of a horror film if it fails to scare you.

6. Because it’s a film and not a drama

Cinema goers usually criticize Pakistani films to be more on the lines of long plays and dramas, this will not be the case with Aksbandh. Filmmakers claim that this will either be a good film or a bad film, but it will be a film as it is treated like one.

Emraan Hussain, the director of the film stated, “Aksbandh is Pakistan’s first found footage horror film of its kind, it is 90 minutes long and shot in the format to give it a real feeling to it and we hope to leave an impact on our audiences who come to watch this movie.”

Aksbandh is low budget and comparatively less hyped than most commercial films, but do go and watch in order to promote new talent and appreciate the attempt of venturing into a different genre.

The film is set to release on May 20th by HUM FILMS all across Pakistan.

The Biggest Cyberattack Of History Will Occur In Next 6 Months

Biggerst Hacker Crime
Source/ MyGaming

The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, warned on Tuesday (24 March) that cybercrime in the EU has increased due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Cybercriminals are taking advantage of the increasing amount of time that people spend online due to new measures taken by member states to stop the spread of the virus – while they also benefit from the health crisis itself.

More and more hospitals, research hubs, and medical centers are being targeted by organized cyber units, which are after information, intelligence, and system accessibility.

Massive Cyberattack is just around the corner

Biggest cyber attack
Source/ Forbes

The coronavirus is laying the groundwork for a massive cyberattack. Nobody is talking about this today. Combating hackers is the last thing on the minds of most people. But coronavirus practically guarantees “largest cyberattack ever” will soon be plastered all over the frontpages.

Before the pandemic hit, employees who worked remotely were usually given particular work laptops with beefed up security. For example, a person who’s working for tax authorities will be working under strict guidelines. He must use a dedicated work laptop and a separate, secure Wi-Fi connection to do his job and assure the security of data.

Practically every employee in every firm in America is working from a makeshift desk on their kitchen table. Firms only had days to cobble together remote work plans. So you can bet most didn’t set up secure systems, like the one my friend is using. The vast majority of employees probably don’t even have dedicated work laptops.

So, hundreds of millions of people are using personal laptops – on unsecured home internet connections – to access work files. Several of which likely contain confidential information and personal data.

A Hacker’s Dream Come True

Biggest cyber attack
Source/ ecouncil.org

Hackers only need to gain access through one entry point to seize control of a whole network. Once they’re in, they can steal data, secrets, and even lock you out of the network.

Hackers broke into the networks of America’s largest defense contractor, Lockheed Martin, by targeting remote workers. If they can infiltrate this system, you best believe remote workers with little security are easy pickings.

In the past couple of months, hackers have targeted the US Department of Health. Moreover, the attacks against the World Health Organization have more than doubled.

These are only the hacks we know about. Cyber intelligence firm CYFIRMA revealed cyber threats related to coronavirus shot up 600% from February to March. It’s only a matter of time before we hear about a significant cyber breach.

Pakistan Is Set To Manufacture & Export Anti-COVID-19 Drug Remdesivir Soon

The World Health Organization’s emergency chief said the new coronavirus might be here to stay, warning it’s impossible to predict when the pandemic might be controlled. There’s a possibility that this virus may never go away, and all of us may have to learn to live with it.

However, Pakistan announced on Friday that it would begin “within weeks” production and export of the antiviral drug remdesivir for treating COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.

As of Friday afternoon EDT, according to Johns Hopkins University statistics, the pandemic had killed more than 306,000 people and infected more than 4.5 million worldwide since late in 2019, when it struck first in China.

Pakistan’s health minister, Zafar Mirza, told the reporters in Islamabad that a local pharmaceutical company, Ferozons Laboratories Ltd., will soon make the medicine in partnership with America’s Gilead, which developed remdesivir.

“The manufacturing of the injectable medicine will begin somewhere between six to eight weeks, and it will be available for the coronavirus patients and the general public. We will also export it to 127 countries.” Said Mirza.

Regulators in America have allowed emergency use of remdesivir, which appeared to help some coronavirus patients recover faster in clinical trials.

Four firms in India to help manufacture and supply the drug.

The U.S. pharmaceutical company has also signed agreements with four drugmakers in neighboring India to help manufacture and supply the drug to those countries.

Under the “nonexclusive licensing” pacts with the South Asian partners, Gilead said, the companies all will have the “right to receive a technology transfer of the Gilead manufacturing process for remdesivir to enable them to scale up their production quickly.”

Once production begins, the medicine will be exported to both developed and low-income nations, said Osman Khalid Waheed, who is the chief executive of the Pakistani pharmaceutical company.

Accessible drug

The idea is to make the medicine available for countries at a minimum cost and make it accessible to developing countries.

The population of Pakistan is 220 million, from which there were about 37,000 people who contracted the coronavirus, and more than 800 of them died since the country detected the outbreak nearly three months ago.

Ease in lockdown

Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed Friday to relax a nationwide partial lockdown further, citing a relatively deficient number of infections and deaths as opposed to the earlier official projections.

Khan defended his decision, saying while the virus-related situation remained under control, “about 150 million individuals” across Pakistan, including daily wagers and laborers, could soon begin suffering from starvation because of the economic shutdown.

“Until a vaccine is available, the coronavirus will persist irrespective of a lockdown. Hence, we will have to learn to live with it until then,” he said.

Black Light Experiment Exhibits How Fast COVID-19 Can Spread

Black light experiment
Source/ CNN

COVID-19 has turned the entire world upside down. As we spiral in an economic depression, we are also learning to live with the virus.

Recently, a video from Japan showed how easily germs and viruses could spread in restaurants. The experiment simulated the atmosphere at a buffet restaurant or on a cruise ship—the public broadcasting organization NHK in conjunction with health experts.

The video showed ten people coming into the restaurant, with one singled out as an “infected” person.

Here’s how the experiment took place

A fluorescent substance only visible under black light was applied onto that person’s hands, representing germs from a cough or a sneeze. Each participant then stepped into the restaurant as generally as they would, not considering potential contamination.

At the end of the video, the participants were cast under black lights illuminating where the “infection” has spread. The substance was used to signify the germs seen on food, serving utensils and platters, and even on the faces of some of the participants.

Japan has had 16,049 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 678 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University data. More than 4.3 million cases of COVID-19 have been recorded worldwide, including at least 297,000 deaths.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGQEuuv9R6E

What do the experts say?

While these kinds of experiments are not new, John Nicholls, a clinical professor in pathology at Hong Kong University, said they demonstrate how quickly a virus can spread, primarily when hand washing is not performed.

“What the video demonstrated, is that it will spread to surfaces and people very efficiently,” Nicholls told CNN, “and I think it really highlights the need of what people have been saying about hand hygiene to stop the spread of disease.”

However, Nicholls said that the situation is “artificial” since there was so much fluorescent liquid on the “infected” person’s hands moreover, that it wouldn’t accurately reflect the number of germs on someone’s hands.

Kentaro Iwata, an infectious disease specialist at Kobe University, agreed. He spoke about how coronavirus spread on the Diamond Princess Cruise ship as an example.

“The experiment just described the possibility of the spread by contact, and that is not evidence of what happened, so the distinction has to be clearly made between what could happen and what did happen,” Iwata told CNN.

Importance of hygiene

NHK also did another experiment where the simulated environment anticipated contamination and put in the necessary precautions. All of the participants, including the “infected” person, washed their hands before and during eating.

Frequently touched surfaces, such as serving utensils, were replaced or wiped down. When the participants went under the blacklight, none of the substance from the “infected” person had spread to the other participants.

However, both experts said the experiment is an excellent way to show the importance of hand-washing and hygiene.

Harvard & MIT Are Developing Masks That Can Detect COVID-19

Harvard & MIT Researchers Are working on masks that can detect COVID-19. Reportedly, in the year 2014, at MIT, Jim Collin’s bioengineering laboratory began working on sensors that could identify the Ebola virus.

The research was published back in the year 2016 by scientists from MIT and Harvard.  Later, the small group of the same scientists tailored the technology for the growing threat of the Zika virus.

As reported by Business Insider, they are now working rigorously on adjusting the same tool to identify coronavirus cases.

How does it work?

A fluorescent signal will show up when a person with the coronavirus breathes, coughs, or sneezes. If this mask turns out to be a successful device, then flaws associated with other screening methods can be addressed, such as temperature checks, etc.

The question is, what purpose will it possibly serve?

“As we open up our transit system, you could envision it being used in airports as we go through security, as we wait to get on a plane,” Collins told Business Insider.

“You or I could use it on the way to and from work. Hospitals could use it for patients as they come in or wait in the waiting room as a pre-screen of who’s infected.”

This mask, if successful, can test patients without sending back their labs and taking the time. It will help countries across the world to control the outbreak promptly.

The project is in its early stages, but the results have been promising says, Collin. For the past few weeks, his team has been testing the sensors’ ability by using a small amount of saliva to detect the coronavirus.

There has been a considerable amount of debate related to the design of this device. The lab is debating whether to embed sensors on the inside of a mask or not. Another option is to develop a module that can be attached to any other mask.

Collin’s small teams’ aspirational goal right now is to begin manufacturing masks for public distribution, hopefully, by the end of this summer.

“Right now, we’re time-constrained and talent-constrained in that we’ve got a relatively small team,” he added. “We’re limited in how many we can have in the lab working, and they’re all working as hard as they can.”

3 DIY Car Dent Removal Methods You Must Know!

It doesn’t matter if your car is old or new, dents are a matter of concern for every driver.

A car dent can occur anywhere, whether you are pulling up in your driveway or leaving a parking lot at a mall.

If you are not careful enough, and if others around you are also neglectful, you can find your car’s pristine body damaged.

Although many opt for professional repairs, it’s always a good idea to learn how to cater to the smaller ones.

This way, you won’t find yourself at the mechanic every other month.

Here are a couple of DIY dent removal methods that will come in handy:

1. The Plunger

Although crude, this is one effective method to pop a dent. The pressure created from the suction can help pull a dent back to its position as long as the damage is not overdone.

For this, you’ll require a cup plunger (not a toilet plunger). You simply have to place the suction part over the dent, push it in so that it can get stuck on the body, and then pull!

Keep in mind that if you push too hard or too much, you can end up making the dent worse and more difficult to pop-out.

2. Boiling Water

If you own a car that has a plastic body than this DIY trick is for you. Since you will be dealing with boiling water, we advise you to be extra careful and take preventive measures, so you don’t burn yourself.

Your first step is to boil a pot of water. Once the water is ready, take it to your car and slowly pour it over the dented plastic. Once you have done that, quickly reach behind the bumper and push the body back into its place.

3. Hairdryer & Compressed Air

Most useful for small dents, this method is best for plastic car bodies. It is relatively simple, heat the dented area with the hairdryer for about 5 minutes. Then, take a can of compressed air, turn it upside down, start spraying on the dented area.

If you are lucky enough, the dent will start to cool rapidly, contracting the plastic. Once that happens, the body will pop back into its original place, and the body will be as good as new.

KIA Wants To Bring 800V Fast Charging To Affordable EVs!

The trend of electric vehicles (EVs) has started to take over the world.

Not only are EVs more environmentally-friendly, but also affordable.

KIA doesn’t want super fast 800v charging to be limited to just luxurious vehicles.

The brand has announced bringing this advanced technology to several of its affordable EVs very soon.

If KIA is successful, then drivers can fully recharge their ride in just 20 minutes (or less) with a range of more than 300 miles.

It’s expected that the manufacturer will sell 11 vehicles around the globe by 2025, with the first new-gen EV rolling out soon in 2021.

Toyota Wants to Explore the EV Market

Toyota has decided to up its game at producing and manufacturing electric vehicles.

The company announced to looking forward to the production of electric cars shortly.

The carmaker has announced that it will launch a “virtual” company to examine and develop EVs.

Toyota spokesperson Itsuki Kurosu said:

Regulations on lower emissions vehicles are changing very quickly, so we also have to respond quickly.

With ITS small size, the new venture will be able to be more nimble in its planning and decision making, to speed up the process to develop electric cars.

The company’s decision came after increasing interest. It deemed zero-emission electric vehicles most viable for the future, for which rivals like Tesla and Nissan are already working on, with Elon Musk on a mission to take e-cars to a whole new level.

According to Analyst Chris Richter,

The company’s position is changing. They still talk about hybrids and fuel cells but I think there is a recognition that battery electric cars are getting a lot of traction right now.

It’s going to take an awful long time before fuel cells are a competitive alternative to electric vehicles.

IN the MEANTIME, a lot of things are going on right now (with battery electric cars) and they need to be there.

The company has focused on short-distance, ultra-compact electric vehicles before; however, it hadn’t shown much interest in expanding to the all-electric market.

EV Policy in Pakistan

The government has established a new target for the national EV policy.

Under it, 100,000 cars and 500,000 two and three tyers vehicles will be converted to electric power.

These Electronic Vehicles plants will have the support of special economic zones and will enjoy tax breaks and other amenities, so the cost of production of electric cars is low.

The government approves the new Electronic Vehicle (EV) policy just to keep a hold of the soaring Oil Import prices.

This decision was also in support of the alarming air pollution rate that our country is facing at the moment.

Many local manufacturers were desperately waiting for a green light from the government to start the production of electric automobiles locally.

The government also sets some challenging goals to achieve in the coming year.

That will not only cut down the oil consumption but will help the environmental hazards our country is having at the moment.

According to the Minister of Climate change, the total emission from vehicles is about 40% of the total population in Pakistan, which needs to be reduced. The standard set for developing countries is only 20%.

Through this policy, regulatory bodies will try to convert 30% of vehicles to electric power. The local automobile industry is already working on launching locally produced electric cars. This news will bring a lot of positive changes.

Benefits of EVs in Pakistan

Driving electric cars will be much cheaper than carbon-based fuels such as Petrol, CNG, and any others. The conversion will also save $2 billion annually on oil imports.

Another benefit will be given to the CNG stations as they have not been properly operating because of the gas shortage.

Also, many fuel companies are ready to invest in battery charging stations.

Do you guys think this policy will help the layman?
