The new law states that any car willing to run on the motorway is going to have to earn a car fitness certificate. This certificate will state that the said car is allowed to be driven on the motorway. This is an initiative by the Punjab government to make sure that people keep their vehicles up to date. It also brings in a factor of safety since unfit vehicles can have quite a lot of mishaps or problems in them.
So, if you intend to make a trip across the country and are headed to Punjab, make sure that your vehicle has the car fitness certificate available for it. If it is not present, the driver can be fined heavily. In addition to this, the government has also asked all unregistered public transport vehicles to get registered. “I have never supported making Shaheen as captain. I also criticised the decision after he was made captain of PSL’s franchise Lahore Qalandars,” Afridi said on a local news channel.
“Whose mouths should I shut? By reading things on social media, I’m just feeling regretful,” he added.
“I always have been in the favor of Mohammad Rizwan. I swear, I never talked about making Shaheen the captain, nor did I ever lobby. Everyone knows me, I have never been involved in these things. I don’t have to, and I don’t like it either,” Shahid Afridi said.
Afridi’s statements hint at his preference for retaining Babar Azam as captain while advocating for Shaheen Afridi to stay away from the leadership role.
“I wanted to keep Shaheen away from the captaincy because I knew what how captains are treated in our country. It has to happen; this is what happens to the captain in the end,” he further added.
Notably, Shaheen Shah Afridi’s first assignment as captain will be the five-match T20I series in New Zealand from 12 to 21 January.

Former Pakistani cricketer Sikandar Bakht recently stirred controversy by alleging that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma intentionally threw the coin far away during toss of the first semi-final between India and New Zealand.
Bakht claimed that Sharma’s coin-tossing strategy aimed to prevent New Zealand’s captain, Kane Williamson, from clearly seeing the outcome.
Speaking on a local TV channel, Bakht suggested a consistent pattern where Sharma, when in charge of the toss, would toss the coin in a manner that obstructed the opposing captain’s view of the result.
“When Rohit Sharma tosses the coin, he always throws it far away from the other captain. It’s almost impossible for the other captain to see the actual outcome,” Bakht asserted.
During the semi-final toss, Williamson had to rely on the match referee’s declaration of the toss outcome as the coin landed several meters away. The quick announcement confirmed India’s victory in the toss. Consequently, India chose to bat first, posting a commanding 397-8 and ultimately securing a 70-run triumph in the match.

The owners of the Nothing Phone 2 will be able to communicate with the iPhone messaging application and have their own version of text bubbles! Users will be able to do this through the Nothing Chats app developed with the messaging platform Sunbird. It seems the startup is coming up with their own trademarked versions of social media applications. This means that there is going to be a third-party application involved when communicating with the mac servers.

How the messaging app works is, it asks you to log into your iCloud account through a Mac mini server farm. This itself is what draws a few security concerns since this means that data is going to be exposed during a certain time frame. Additionally, the presence of a third-party application also means that the data is more open to an attack.
We hope that Nothing thinks of security counter measures before the application is out to the user completely. It would be good to release more beta tests and see how it fares with apple users and android users alike.

For the Edgewalk, visitors are securely attached to ropes and can walk around the outer ledge of the building’s highest pod. But we’re not done yet. Here’s the scariest part – The instructor encourages you to release the rope and lean back slightly off the edge. Later, they’ll ask you to lean forward. Yikes! I lost it here.
What I absolutely loved and appreciated was the safety measures that are top-notch with safety gear and a trained instructor accompanying each group. The walk lasts around approximately 20 minutes, and you’re advised not to carry any items in your hands. Yes, you can take your phone but you’ll be provided a clear pouch for your phone by the instructor.
