1. Vitamin C – Vitamin reduces the damage caused to your skin by the sun’s harmful UV rays by protecting it against free radicals. It also helps reduce inflammation caused by acne and lightens the tone of your skin.
2. Vitamin E – Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin popular for hydrating your skin and keeping it moisturized and glowing.
3. Vitamin K – Another fat-soluble vitamin, Vitamin K, helps to reduce stretch marks and spider veins.
4. Vitamin A – Also known as Retinol, Vitamin A eliminates fine lines by stimulating collagen production and lightening dark patches on the skin, making it more even-looking.
5. Vitamin B6 – A water-soluble vitamin, Vitamin B6 reduces sebum on the surface, making it less oily.
6. Copper – Copper reduces wrinkles and fine lines, lightens the skin and fights against damage caused by free radicals.
7. Potassium – Potassium keeps cells hydrated to moisturize the skin.
8. Magnesium – Magnesium helps to reduce oily skin, acne, and rosacea.
9. Beta-carotene – boosts immunity and protects the skin against bacteria and toxins

The Wall Street Journal reported that the tech giant, Apple Inc., had nabbed director Martin Scorsese’s upcoming venture, “Killers of the Flower Moon.” The film will feature promising stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
DiCaprio and De Niro previously have co-starred in “This Boy’s Life” and “Marvin’s Room.” In 2015, the duo also appeared in the short film The Audition.

Apple Tv +
It is not clear yet, if the movie will be included on Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV Plus, which has previously created original content following in the footsteps of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
According to Variety, a deal is expected to be announced in the coming days. Apple has entered the game by bagging Hollywood’s most sought out directors next film.
This project will be Apple’s most significant move forward into a film yet. However, this is not the first time Apple has suddenly decided to home big-budget films. On the 19th of May, Apple announced it would stream Greyhound, a World War II epic starring Tom Hanks about a convoy of ships battling U-Boats.
Based on David Grann’s Book
Scorsese’s upcoming film is based on a 2017 non-fiction book Killers of the Flower Moon, The Osage Murders, and the Birth of the FBI by American journalist David Grann. The book investigates a series of murders of wealthy Osage Indians in Oklahoma in the early 1920s.
Previously, Netflix Inc. bagged Mr. Scorsese’s last film, Irishman, which was a huge hit. With no signs of cinemas opening amid coronavirus, maybe this is how the new world order will look like where directors will release their work on streaming services.
For now, Variety reported that Apple would finance the picture in partnership with Paramount Pictures, which will distribute the movie.

Almost all indicators indicate that there is a long and long struggle with the spread of COVID-19, which means that we are currently living in the new normal. And although this new normal has affected businesses, lives and brought the economy to almost a standstill, the one thing it has ascertained is that telecom services are essential, especially for the times ahead. From connecting families and communities to ensuring that most businesses and educational institutions remain online, the industry can already achieve this goal through this kind of lock-in.
Nearly all activities in our everyday lives – work, education, entertainment, banking, socializing, shopping etc. – are moving online. The internet has also played a key role in broadcasting information and data related to COVID-19. Having internet access acts as an enabler, and an incentive for people to stay at home, practice social distancing and try to move forward with their lives.
However, in Pakistan, internet access can still be regarded as a privilege, and there is a worrying digital divide that exacerbates existing socio-economic inequalities. In a country of more than 200 million inhabitants, around 165 million mobile subscribers exist, but only 47% of these subscribers utilize the benefits offered by mobile broadband; around 90 million Pakistanis own a mobile phone that cannot access the internet.
These data illustrate how the benefits of the internet are unevenly distributed in our society. The more impoverished Pakistanis are not even part of the digital transformation. And the pandemic has brought this fact to light.
As the nationwide blockade forced educational institutes to take classes online, more and more people opposed the move, especially from students from rural or remote areas. Due to the lack of high-speed internet, most people are opposed to teaching video streaming software, while some people think that this will consume their pockets because video calls require a lot of data. Experts from various fields emphasized that online courses seem to be discriminatory to students living in rural areas of Pakistan.

For a country that is already struggling to resolve the trough of digital divide, this epidemic has brought another matter to be resolved. With the economic downturn and rampant unemployment, income reduction is becoming a norm, and ordinary people find it increasingly difficult to top up current assets. Mobile operators are also reporting a decline in balance recharge in compared to the same period last year.
Although the digital divide is a problem requiring long-term strategic intervention by the state, investment, and time, respite to the masses should be immediate, since mobile communications, especially mobile broadband, are essential services in this digital era.
Presently, the telecom industry in Pakistan is amongst the highest taxed in the world, as per the Sustainable Development Policy Institute. In addition to the high tax burden on mobile operators, there are a number of consumer taxes levied on mobile services, which significantly increase the cost of ownership of a handset and connection.
For starters, there is an urgent need to modify the current tax policy to deal with the impact of pandemic on mobile phone use. For the sake of foresight, the government should cancel the withholding tax charged by all subscribers, and unify the tax on goods and services in terms of voice, and completely cancel the use of data services to promote the use of Internet and reduce the burden on poor.
According to industry experts, the abolition of data tax will not only bring direct benefits to users, but in the long run, this move will have a positive impact on the digital ecosystem. These tax cuts will also reduce the burden on low-income mobile users.
Looking ahead, the government should also consider changes in regulations and policies to make it easier for mobile operators to extend mobile broadband access to remote areas.
Last but not least, careful consideration should be given to the affordability and accessibility of smartphones. Feature phones, although affordable, are outdated, and their continued use amongst the very poor only hinders their inclusion in to a formal digital economy.

The government’s, #DigitalPakistan slogan needs a policy and regulatory upheaval if it is to become a reality. Where the COVID-19 outbreak has showcased the benefits that digital technologies offer, it has also shed light on a digital divide that will only grow if preventive measures are not taken.
Digital transformation can only be fully realized if high quality access to communication networks and services is made available at affordable prices for all people and firms no matter who they are or where they live.
Raffia Arshad, a Pakistani-Britisher, has become the first hijab-wearing deputy district judge in the United Kingdom, according to media reports. Do you know that there are barely any Hijabi judges in the Western world?
We’re overjoyed after hearing this, especially during the pandemic where gloom has taken over the world. The 40-year-old Raffia Arshad was appointed Deputy District Judge on the Midlands circuit last week following a 17-year career in law.
The first Hijabi judge in a western country
According to a statement released by the Muslim Council of Britain, Ms. Arshad was the first in a Western country to be appointed as a judge in the hijab and amongst a handful of female Muslim judges around the world.
Educated at a Grammar School in West Yorkshire, judge Arshad was the first from her family to go to university. She has also written a book titled Islamic Family Law. Her husband is a doctor and an Aalim who completed a diploma in Islamic Jurisprudence and coaching while working as a barrister.

“This is an achievement not just for women but for Muslim women. If ever there was a time to stand up and fulfill your professional aspirations, it is now,” she said. Ms. Arshad is married with three children, the statement said.
“At a time when everyone is facing uncertainty and unprecedented challenges, I urge everyone to rekindle their dreams and pursue them,” she stated in an interview with Geo TV.
Moreover, she mentioned how the prayers of her parents were the essential ingredient in her success. She felt proud of being counted as an outstanding Pakistani in the West.
The mother of three said: “I am a court-appointed expert on matters of Islamic Family Law and have authored many publications, including a textbook which is used by other judges worldwide. I have been invited to Germany and America to speak on Islamic Family Law.”
People like Raffia Arshad are the reason why women should strive to achieve their goals and keep their eyes on the bigger picture. Judge Arshad is a perfect example of how women can break stereotypes, practice their religion, and achieve greatness all at once. What’s your take on this?

The coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the world, and from schools to colleges to restaurants, everything is shut. Due to the pandemic, society as a whole is practicing social distancing and opting to stay at home.
However, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) recently announced to conduct various professional examinations, including MBBS, BDS, and MPhil exams from May 13, 2020, which were postponed in March this year due to coronavirus pandemic situation in the country, said the official press release.
The decision resulted in students who find it nonsensical to appear for exams during the current state.
What is UHS doing? Why are you calling Students in Pandemic? Don't you know all institutes are closed and you are experimenting corona on those students? If any mishap will happen with any student VC of UHS will be answerable and will face the students!#DelayUHS_Examspic.twitter.com/BzIf4UycEq
We’re losing our youth to the deadly virus! Yet, the authorities want #UHS exams to be conducted. If not utter callousness than what is it!! Healthcare system has collapsed, amplify the voices, #DelayUHS_Exams, boycott these or any exams https://t.co/Xr82WHFPvs
The faculty meeting chaired by the Vice-Chancellor UHS Prof Javed Akram at UHC office came to this decision. It was decided that all the examinations will be conducted as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that were framed in the wake of COVID-19.
Moreover, the examinations include fourth professional MBBS and fourth professional BDS supplementary examination 2019, which would be started from May 13.
Similarly, the final professional DPT annual examination 2019, MPhil (Primary and Final) old yearly examination scheme 2020, MPhil Part-I (PU scheme) supplementary examination 2019 for Federal Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore and MPhil (Primary & Final) revised scheme annual examination 2020, which would be conducted from May 14.
Dates of the exams
Moreover, MPhil in basic dental sciences revised scheme annual examination 2020, and MPhil in medical laboratory sciences (first and the second year) annual examination 2019, would commence on May 15.
Whereas, Final prof MBBS supplementary examination 2019, would start from June 01. Likewise, MBBS additional prof examination 2019 and first prof BDS supplementary examination 2019, would be launched from June 02. The date sheet has been uploaded at UHS official website.
Following SOP’s
According to the SOPs issued by UHS, wearing of face cover and gloves were compulsory for candidates and examination staff. All examination centers shall have an adequate arrangement for temperature screening and provide sanitizers at convenient places.
The examination staff shall ensure social distancing inside the examination halls. There shall be a distance of at least two-meter between the candidates. The social distancing would also be provided at the entry and exit points of examination centers.
For viva/practical examination, not more than five candidates will be allowed in the lab/ward at one time. The examination centers will be sanitized before the start of each examination. Frequent cleaning of common surfaces and handwashing would be mandated for the examination staff.
Furthermore, UHS VC Prof Javed Akram has requested the candidates and their parents to cooperate with the varsity and strictly follow the SOPs.
Conclusion
We believe that amidst the given situation, this decision isn’t ideal, but according to WHO, the world needs to learn to live with the virus. Do you believe that conducting exams during social distancing and this pandemic is a sane idea? Would you appear for the exams if you were in the shoes on all the students? Let us know.

In times of gloom and despair comes a story that will surely bring a smile to your face! One man was graced by the Almighty and performed the ‘Tawaaf’ of the Holy Ka’abah all alone, without a crowd beside him. He was by himself, and he was able to complete the tawaaf with the utmost peace due to the COVID-19 restrictions. What a lucky man indeed!
Source: Al Jazeera
The man is said to have had a dream of performing the tawaaf alone 20 years ago when he had gone for Hajj. He had the dream in Masjid Al Khaif, Mina; it was then interpreted by a scholar, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Rumi. The scholar told the man that one day he would make a tawaaf of the Ka’abah all alone.
He had wondered, “How is that possible, how can the whole of tawaaf stop only for me?”
The dream was interpreted in the presence of many other scholars, and many doubted that this could ever be possible. As the years passed, it seemed like a far-fetched idea to others. However, after 20 years, Coronavirus restrictions have helped make this beautiful dream come to life and led to this lucky man being able to make a tawaaf of the Holy Kaaba all alone!
Watch this awe-Inspiring video of this man making a tawaaf of the Holy Ka’abah all alone!
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Arabia has not allowed anyone to visit to perform Umrah, the decision for Hajj is still pending. Due to this, the population visiting the Ka’abah is the bare minimum. The authorities have also cordoned off most of the areas.
This inspiring story was shared by a scholar and the man’s friends, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khudayr, who has narrated this beautiful story. He mentioned the entire story of how his friend had a dream 20 years back while performing Hajj.

Waqar Younis is a well-known name in Pakistan, especially if you are a cricket fanatic!
Recently, the Pakistani cricket coach, commentator, and former cricketer who captained the national team came under fire on social media.
Younis was caught liking an obscene video on his Twitter account. However, he claims that his account was hacked, and it wasn’t him who did this.
He posted a clarification video, using the same handle under question. Now the matter is that if his account was hacked, why didn’t the hacked change the password? Moreover, why did the hacker target him?
Younis claimed that it was an extremely shameful and painful experience for him and his family.
Continuing his explanation, Waqar Younis said that he had thought that Twitter is a great platform to interact with acquaintances and the people one knows.
Today I have to say with great regret that when I woke up this morning, someone hacked my Twitter account and liked grossly inferior videos from my account.
So it is a matter of great shame, it is a matter of great regret and discomfort. For me and my family too. I used to think that social media or Twitter is a way of interacting with people.
But unfortunately, this man ruined everything. By the way, the hacker has not done this for the first time.
I have had an account hack three or four times. I do not think this man is going to stop, so I have decided that I will not come on social media after today.
I love my family more. You will not see me on social media after today. I am sorry if this hurts anyone,” he added.
In conclusion, he shared that the ‘Allah ka banda’ won’t stop hacking his Twitter profile and presumably and inexplicably liking adult videos from it. Hence, he has decided to get off social media and never use Twitter again!

While some made fun of the retired cricketer, others supported his story of being hacked!
It might hurt a lot of people to see the rangeen side of this man in green! But we should listen to the other side of the story. There are many ways to watch porn and Twitter is not one of them. Could have been a hack. #waqaryounispic.twitter.com/TZcFL6oc9H

May 29th 2020: As reported by CBNC, Google will be paying its employees $1000. The payment will be made to buy equipment to WFH, while individual employees will return to the office.
The news was announced by Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, on Tuesday. The announcement also revealed Google’s plans to kick start its operations from coming month.
The offices will slowly reopen on June 6th, but only 10% of employees will be coming in and will rotate as required. The percentage will work up to 30% later in September.
The move sets an excellent example for other businesses as the world’s most highly valued company is attempting to come back amid coronavirus, which has killed more than 360,000 people worldwide. The virus has taken its toll on Google’s parent alphabets business.
“This will give Googlers who need to come back to the office — or, capacity permitting, who want to come back — the opportunity to return on a limited, rotating basis (think: one day every couple of weeks, so roughly 10 percent building occupancy),” Pichai wrote in the email, which was published on a Google blog.
Google has also been preparing to take the necessary precautions to keep their employees safe. “We’ll have rigorous health and safety measures in place to ensure social distancing and sanitization guidelines are followed, so the office will look and feel different than when you left.”

May 9th 2020: The COVID-19 pandemic has forced employees to work from home as countries have taken lockdown measures to curb the spread of the virus. Social media giants, Facebook and Google, have now announced the extension of Work from home policies for their employees throughout the rest of the year 2020.
Source: Observerbed
Here’s what various tech companies are doing about remote working in light of COVID-19 :
1. Facebook
Facebook has decided to open its offices from July 6th but will be allowing those employees who can work from home to do so till the end of the year. A spokesperson for Facebook stated,
“Facebook has taken the next step in its return to work philosophy. Today, we announced anyone who can do their Work remotely could choose to do so through the end of the year. As you can imagine, this is an evolving situation as employees and their families make important decisions re rFcebooeturn to work.”
The social media platform was the first tech firm that asked its employees to begin working from home. Facebook is amongst the very few companies that gave its employees a bonus of $1,000 for their work-from-home and childcare costs. At a time when pay cuts and lay-offs are frequent due to the pandemic, tech-giant Facebook has proved once again that it cares for the people that work for it.
2. Google

Today we let our team know they have flexibility to work from home (or anywhere) through the end of 2020. My personal opinions about WFH have been turned upside down over the past 2 months. I expect this will have a lasting influence on the future of work … and home. Stay safe.
E-commerce giant Amazon has also continued its Work from home policy for those who can continue to do so until at least October 2nd.

“We are working hard and investing significant funds to keep those who choose to come to the office safe through physical distancing, deep cleaning, temperature checks, and the availability of face coverings and hand sanitizer,” an Amazon spokesperson mentioned to CNN.

Pakistani Footballer, Hajra Khan, posted a picture of her Eid outfit, and the internet couldn’t handle her choice of clothing.
It is not for the first time that female celebs or known personalities have donned a shalwar kameez in Pakistan. This fashion has been trending for quite some time now.
Many on Instagram felt like it was too masculine of Khan. Specific ‘tradition’ should be left as it is. However, Khan firmly had a different opinion.
She feels one should wear what they are most comfortable in. She brought forward the notion on her Instagram that, “Clothes Have No Gender.”
“Any clothing we could choose to wear is going to be inevitably gendered. We should not have to live in a world where people have to justify how they feel,” she said.
The footballer added, “Having a concept of gender-neutral clothing is important because it allows everyone to feel comfortable in their own bodies.”

She got furious and said, “When a fool utters all kinds of insults against you on social media without even knowing you, or without any worthwhile reason or provocation, usually they are merely sad. They’re pathetic attention-seeking trolls who we should all feel sorry for. They don’t deserve your anger, they deserve your pity.”
Giving two scents of her knowledge, she said,” Athletic wear has always been gender-neutral. And I will keep choosing to wear clothes that make me feel comfortable in my own skin. We need to normalize gender-neutral fashion.”
She wrapped it up with a quote by James Baldwin, “Everyone deserves to feel free and beautiful without judgment. And like James Baldwin said, “Took many years of vomiting up all the filth that I had been taught about myself and halfway believed before I could walk around this earth like I had the right to be here.”
“I have the right, you have the right, we ALL have the right,” she concluded.
You go, girl! What do you think about gender-neutral outfits?

A team of Pakistani and French investigators shuffled through the wreckage of a Pakistani airliner that crashed in Karachi last Friday.
The purpose was to find out what happened that resulted in the worst airline disaster in the country in years.
The investigators were in search of the Airbus A320 jet’s cockpit voice recorder, said a spokesman for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Reportedly, the recorder has now been found.

According to Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) official tweet, the recorder has been handed over to the Airbus Investigators as a critical component to the investigation into the crash, which killed almost 100 and with just 2 survivors.
“The voice recorder will help with the investigation,” said the spokesperson.
The spokesperson further said the voice recorder had been handed to the investigative board, tasked with the probe into the air crash.
Reportedly, trawlers, heavy machinery, and various other vehicles were being used to move the pieces. On the other hand, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), and the Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) engineering and technical ground support staff monitored the process very closely.
Update May 27 2020:
An eleven-member team of experts from European aircraft manufacturer Airbus examined the site of PK-8303 plane crash in Karachi’s Model Colony on Tuesday.
The team is assisting the investigation of the plane crash in Karachi that claimed 97 lives on May 22, 2020, on Friday.
Initially, the team had flown in from Toulouse for a one-day visit but now has decided to extend their stay.
The ongoing investigation
The team is currently examining why the aircraft’s landing gear didn’t open on time and other issues. They will also inspect the plane’s engine, flight control system, and wings.
The Aircraft Accident and Investigation Board and the Civil Aviation Authority briefed the french team about the accident. They even visited the runway and saw the CCTV footage of the crash.
Moreover, the investigation team will be provided the plane’s black box and flight data record so they can take it to France with them for a detailed inspection.
56 bodies have yet to be identified
Federal Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said,
“56 bodies have yet to be identified, while 41 bodies have been handed over to the heirs after DNA testing.”
He also claimed that a package would soon be given to those who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident. Moreover, the Airbus investigation team is expected to submit its final report in three months.
The fatal incident of Pakistan International Airlines occurred, leaving the nation devastated just two days before Eid.

The verification of deceased bodies is underway via the DNA scanning. The entire process will continue in the coming days. Final investigations indicate that the crash occurred due to technical defects, but further research is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the wounded from among the Model Colony crash site are being treated at various Karachi hospitals.
PIA aircraft Airbus A320 crashed in the residential area of Model Colony near the Karachi airport on May 22, minutes before landing. The plane flying from Lahore to Karachi had 99 persons on board, including passengers and crew.

You’ve undoubtedly experienced the annoyance of coming across a dazzling night scene, only to find that your camera can’t recreate it exactly as it appears in front of you. Low-light photography has always been challenging for smartphone cameras, as insufficient lighting brings negative effects on image rendering. There are capable devices, of course – but they’re hefty SLR cameras that must be used in conjunction with a tripod, or expensive phones that cost a proverbial arm and a leg.
The newly-unveiled HUAWEI Nova 7i represents something different, however, by challenging the status quo with its powerful, inventive camera technologies. Night photography is now accessible to all, rather than an exclusive realm of the highly-skilled, or the highly-priced.
The Nova 7i features five AI-powered cameras that generate pristine images at every touch of the shutter. The rear 48MP Quad AI setup includes a 48MP ultra-HD sensor, 120° ultra-wide angle camera, macro lens and depth sensor together in an avant-garde design. A 16MP front camera renders every shot in high resolution, with vivid, authentic colors.
The 48MP main sensor for the rear camera system boasts extraordinary imaging capabilities, with its ultra-large 1/2-inch sensor size and wide f/1.8 aperture. In darker settings, an in-house “4-in-1 pixel fusion” technology automatically kicks in to ensure much higher photosensitivity, therefore guaranteeing first-rate performance despite of the unsatisfactory lighting.
The Nova 7i also allows you to shoot at night without a tripod, thanks to the Huawei-exclusive Super Night Mode, realized through the collaboration between blistering processing from Kirin 810 chipset and state-of-the-art AI algorithms. Basically, with a press of the shutter multiple pictures will be taken during the long exposure that lasts from 2 to 6 seconds, and they will be intelligently synthesized to create one final sharp, stunning, noise-free image. You may even be able to capture the starry night just as how your eyes perceive it!
The phone’s 16MP front camera can also utilize “4-in-1 pixel fusion”, a customized Super Night Selfie Mode and AI to achieve 2μm-equivalent levels of photosensitivity. Therefore, your selfies are comprehensively optimized even in unfavorably-lit surroundings, with your facial features presented in captivating lifelike depth, natural lighting effects, optimal brightness and clarity. While over- or under-exposure is common in many selfie photos, none can be found in the picture below (taken with nova 7i).
The HUAWEI Nova 7i is a wonderful companion in exploring the night’s beauty. Lengthy photography sessions aren’t a problem either, with a 4200 mAh battery that keeps the phone powered for a full day, and 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge technology that fills it to 70% in just 30 minutes even if it is dying (which doesn’t happen a lot). When you need to install any of your favorite apps, such as the social media ones, so that you can share your proud photography works with friends and families, you can easily do so on Huawei’s own app-service platform, AppGallery, or any other third-party app store.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, the phone costs PKR 43,999/- only! There’s no need to wait for dawn to fall. You can pick up a HUAWEI Nova 7i at any time, and enjoy night photography that dazzles and reveals.
The number of coronavirus cases is increasing rapidly across the country. Due to the growing number, only nine beds are available in high-dependency units at Karachi’s ten public and private hospitals treating such patients. On Wednesday, Sindh Health Department officials said that 61 ventilators are available at these facilities.
The officials further said that despite the availability of 61 ventilators, not every patient can be put on life support because only those requiring artificial breathing need that. They also noted that there is hardly any space left at COVID-19 treatment facilities in the public and private sectors.

This Eid ul Fitr was unlike any other we’ve experienced, with social distancing and self isolations in place. We missed out on so many fun Eid experiences that are the true embodiment of the joyous festival. However, people seemed to forget about the ongoing pandemic during the Eid holidays.
The markets were buzzing with people on ‘Chaand Raat’! Mosques were full for Eid prayers, SOP’s ignored, and people gathered with their friends and family!

The consequences of the negligence by some? A higher increase in the number of COVID cases in the country. Pakistan has now entered the top 20 countries with the most Covid-19 cases in the world, ranking at number 18.
There was a jump of 2164 cases on May 24th, 2020, which was the first day of Eid in the country, coincidence?
Here’s a roundup of what exactly went wrong during the Eid holidays:
Eid Gatherings
People did not follow the stay home rule and mingled with friends, family, and their loved ones during Eid. Grand dinners and lunches were held, where people did not care to maintain any distance between each other or wear protective masks either.
Seen below celebrities Minaal Khan, Saboor Aly, Omayr Waqar, Kinza Hashmi, and Make-up artist Sara spotted together on Eid. They forgot they were supposed to be social distancing.

2. Ignorance of SOP’s by Shopkeepers
Shopkeepers and all those who went out for Eid shopping did not follow the government provided SOP. To battle the economic downfall, the shops were opened but were strictly asked to maintain distance between customers, keep sanitizing the area, wear masks, and gloves. However, only a few stores were seen following these rules.

3. Eid Shopping at its fullest!

Smartphone applications play a massive part in reacting to the COVID-19 pandemic. These apps are used to track infected people, issue rules for self-quarantine, provide the citizens with the latest communication, and lessen the pressure on healthcare professionals.
The apps are downloaded by millions of people all over the world, from South Korea to Poland. The European Union intends to launch its application and has issued guidelines for it.
Moreover, the two Silicon Valley tech giants, Apple and Google, have also partnered up to develop an app that will aid healthcare organizations.
Furthermore, a COVID-19 touch tracing software that uses the Apple-Google platform is now piloted by Switzerland.
Source/ BBC
The app, SwissCovid, is the first in the world to put the Apple-Google model to use, according to Swiss university EPFL.
SwissCovid will use Bluetooth to exchange keys between phones. If a user tests positive for SARS-CoV-2, they can inform the app, which will alert other users if they were nearby (less than two meters) to the infected person for a prolonged period (more than 15 minutes).
The first to test the Swiss app will be employees at EPFL, ETH Zurich, the Army, and selected hospitals and government agencies. This pilot process will last a couple of weeks. Whereas, The
Swiss parliament needs to update the epidemics law to allow the app to be released nationally by mid-June.
Last week, Apple and Google made their contact tracking technologies available to public health agencies. This is also compatible with apps running iOS 13.5, and Android 6.0 and above. The model uses a “decentralized” approach, where primary operations are conducted on the phones of users, not in a centralized system.
The method is intended to help protect the privacy of users, and according to EPHL, two Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology led the decentralized “DP3 T” protocol.
“This gives great responsibility to the Swiss testers, as many other countries intend to adopt the same protocol later on,” said project manager Alfredo Sanchez.
Furthermore, “this digital tracing will not replace protective measures, but it is the best way to control the evolution of the epidemic,” said Alain Berset, Federal Councillor at the Swiss Department of Interior.
Should the app work as desired, it would undoubtedly be a cause for celebration for the many societies under strict lockdown protocols. It could also prove quite embarrassing for the government, which elected for a centralized data model, contrary to expert advice, some of which are facing teething problems.
