Khan Ali, the infamous YouTuber in Pakistan who got arrested for harassing women has now spoken his own truth. While sitting down with an interviewer, he had a heart-to-heart. Our thoughts? After hearing what he had to say, we wish he wouldn’t have had said anything!

Khan Ali’s Attention Stunts

Maybe because he did not get a lot of interviews or maybe he wanted to get this one viral, Khan Ali pulled a stunt on his latest interview too. The stunt was that he was wearing a dupatta on his head throughout. The first thing the interviewer asked him was also regarding this and from thereon, a train of sexist and misogynistic remarks begin.

Khan Ali stated that he got arrested for wearing this dupatta and advocating for it. His purpose and mission are all embodied within this dupatta.

Pranking With A Message

This guy clearly has an I-want-to-stand-apart syndrome because of which he wanted to prank but with a message. This message was that women should be wearing a dupatta. That is why in his pranks he used to question women not wearing one while pulling the dupatta of those who did.

According to this logic, Khan Ali believes he did nothing wrong. He got arrested because the police was strict about females being disturbed. The females were disturbed simply over why they were asked to wear a dupatta.

His Supporting Logic

Just like there is a best supporting role award, there should be a best-supporting pranks logic. And the award must go to Khan Ali’s creativity. He pranked women like this because he believes all women must wear a dupatta. 

Like the toffee and robot analogies, Khan Ali also believes in women’s bodies being covered. He said if a woman is fully dressed with a dupatta on her head, no one will touch them. No one will even think anything. However, if you have ‘hair open’ and there is a full “set-up”, then of course people are sitting. To that end, he also said I wanted to give money to some girls to get a dupatta for themselves. 

Why Are They Given A Platform?

The question again remains, why are these men given a platform? Why did no interviewer try to approach the woman who filed a complaint against this guy?

All the men who romanticise a woman being covered and their safety forget many things. They are unaware of women doing pardah and still being sexually assaulted. They are unaware of dead women’s bodies being assaulted. This kind of narrative spreading via people like Khan Ali is only helping this country go backward.

A religious cleric has now announced that female doctors should essentially only be reserved for female patients. In a country with the lowest education rate regarding girl’s education, can we really follow this thinking?

Tariq Masud Imparts Knowledge

Tariq Masud, a religious cleric, said in one of his gatherings that a female doctor should never treat a man. She must be reserved only to treat female patients and the same goes for men too. If, in case, there is ever a dire situation and a female doctor needs to treat a man, she must do two things.

Firstly, she must wear gloves. This is so her skin does not come in tact with the man’s skin at all. Secondly, she must also do niqab at that time and cover herself as much as possible. 

Tariq Masud’s Own Knowledge

This is the religious cleric’s interpretation of what Shariah must be. Moreover, considering the sort of remarks the Premier has been making on women, it will come as no surprise if he falls for this. However, Tariq Masud requires a trip to a hospital or a doctor.

Is the esteemed religious cleric unaware that in any treatment, doctors are always in gloves? Moreover, scrubs are unfortunately not made in a niqab design for the woman to wear. Why must a female doctor’s ability to perform her work be hampered?

For Tariq Masud, the biggest problem is posed by female dentists. He believes they are doing the worst work in ‘ruining men’. He also notes that he has apparently seen many times when female dentists were being overly close. Someone Take Him To A Proper Dentist

The first thing we’d say would be to take him to a proper dentist. A dentist can literally not come that close to its patient’s mouth if they need to fix anything inside the mouth. Moreover, Tariq Masud possesses the same mindset— the woman must bend and adjust in every case to protect a man.

However, now it seems that the policy has been further extended.

Apart from 800cc and below, now the exemptions are going to be on 1000cc cars too. This opens up a lot of room for opportunity and sale from many citizens. The reductions make the cars more affordable and this could really help us in the long run. Let us now dive a bit into the details of the new finance scheme our government is going to put forward.

Further Details

According to sources, the vehicles are going to have a lower interest rate. A lot of cars are going to come under this category. This is because the market is full of existing and emerging compact vehicles. Sedans like the Belta might also be a part of this scheme. The percentage of interest in these cars is going to be between 5 to 6.

Exploring further, the 5 percent is for cars up to 1000cc. For cars above 1000cc, it is proposed to be 6 percent. This can further boost sales and create numerous business and employment opportunities in the country. The more the cars are sold, the more they will need to be produced. Apart from this, an exportable surplus of 2-3 wheeler parts also expected to be made.

This guy had enough of “toofan e badtameezi” of kids. He is sure to repeatedly mention he is not talking about infants and their crying. He is talking about older kids who can understand their parents. However, they still do not listen to them and create a ruckus.

Think screaming, crying for attention, throwing things, and overall being a cartoon character out of Looney Tunes. We’ve all had our experience with kids like this, haven’t we? Especially at weddings when you’re carrying your plate back to your table in pristine clothes and a kid bumps into you. It’s the worst.

The guy said “if you can not control your children”, simply don’t bring them. This sentence is very important because this is where parents go wrong. This is where those mischievous and disrespectful children hide.

Parents will call on to the child once or twice and then go about their own business. Then they complain that their children do not listen to them. Well, why? Isn’t your job as a parent to make them listen to you or are they the parent and you the child?

Meet Manu, Kashmir’s first transgender makeup artist who is pursuing her dream fearlessly and confidently. Her story is nothing short of inspiring. 

A Rough Start To Life

As a teenager, Manu Bebo in Srinagar, Kashmir was tortured by her family. She was bullied at school and ostracized from family gatherings. Streets and shops were never safe for her either.

Manu Bebo was born to a middle-class family in Kashmir. Throughout her childhood, Manu was presented as a boy. She also had the stereotypical interests that made her parents happy! She loved to play video games, go out with her friends etc.

However, at the cusp of teenagehood, Manu started feeling differently and life was never the same. 

Journey To Self

After Manu Bebo’s sister got married, she started enjoying the company of her female friends more. Over time, she developed discontent with herself as a boy and did not feel one with her appearance and soul.

In an interview, she recalled the trauma of being rejected and bullied at each turn and hour. However, Manu Bebo never gave up. Manu was unable to continue her studies after 12th grade and began her business.

Manu’s Makeup Business Skyrockets

For a transgender to have their own business is rare. Society does not afford them that many opportunities but Manu Bebo were not going to wait around. She always had an interest in makeup and decided to polish those skills and earn from them.

“Makeup is something that I’ve always enjoyed doing. When one has an opportunity to start a career in something that is enjoyable, then why not do that? I am totally self-taught and don’t have any professional training,” said Manu.

Manu started her makeup venture four years ago and since then there has been no looking back. She has made a name in all of Kashmir and has thousands of followers on Instagram. She also puts up make-up tutorials on Instagram and YouTube which helps her grow her fanbase each single day.

“Everyone appreciates my work. It makes me feel very happy and proud,” says Manu.

A Message For Others

Manu repeatedly spoke about how many transgenders resort to dancing in front of people. They have no other way of earning. However, she did not want to humiliate herself for money. For her fellow transgenders, she has a message. “Life is too short to give weight to what people think. Don’t pay attention to such people and rise, like a boss.”

Zameen.Com Organizes Event For Launch Of Sitara Icon Tower In Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Zameen.com — Pakistan’s largest property enterprise — organized an event to inaugurate their most recently on-boarded project, called the Sitara Icon Tower. The senior management of both companies were present on the occasion and were accompanied by Sitara Heights Director Chaudhry Tahir Iqbal, Additional Commissioner Faisalabad Imran Abbasi, Faisalabad Development Authority Chairman Latif Nazar, and Zameen.com’s Regional Sales Head (Central) Muzaffar Majeed.

Once the project has been completed, it will be the tallest development in the city. The building will comprise of 22 stories, with four basements dedicated for parking, and will offer luxury apartments and commercial shops for sale. It will also have a food court and a swimming pool on the roof. Additionally, the project has been registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Metropolitan Corporation Faisalabad. When combined with its prime location and easy installment plans, these factors make the project a worthwhile investment for serious buyers.

While talking to the media during the event, Zameen Senior Director (Central) Shuja Ullah Khan stated that Zameen.com was pleased to launch a new project in such a major city like Faisalabad and that the company was prepared to launch other similar projects in the city — with a focus on providing its residents with a good return on their investment and a peaceful place to live. He further said that Faisalabad was one of the country’s most prominent cities and that it had a lot of potential for growth, with regards to real estate developments. He added that Zameen had already revolutionized the country’s real estate sector and through this project, the company would bring even more opportunities for the city’s residents.
