If you love chocolate, you must like this gooey, fluffy, light, and creamy dessert. Chocolate mousse is simple to make yet fancy enough to serve at your parties. If you in need of a quick chocolate fix, this easy-to-make dessert can be your savior. But how do you make an eggless, gluten-free version of the dessert? Let’s dive into it, shall we?

1. Chocolate Mousse Recipe

The ingredients list for this recipe might seem big, but it is so easy to make, yet it will make the most delicate dessert.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 1 1/3 cups)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • Two tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • One tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • Two teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream, beat to soft peaks, and sweetened with 1 1/2 tablespoons of powdered sugar for garnish
  • cocoa powder, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Put the chocolate chips, water, cocoa, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl, and microwave, in short, 30-second bursts, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is melted and smooth (this can also be done over a double boiler)
  2. Fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly between 6 dessert glasses, cover, and chill in the refrigerator until set (about 1 hour).
  4. Top with sweetened whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder (optional)

2. 3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse 

This eggless dessert is light, creamy yet thick, and sweet. Top with some whipped cream and cocoa powder for brownie presentation points.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Three tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Six tablespoons powdered sugar
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Garnishing (Optional)

  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • cocoa powder for sprinkle

Instructions

  1. For Eggless 3 Ingredient Chocolate, Mousse first takes the chilled mixing bowl, adds the whipping cream to it, and whips until it becomes thick and bubbly.
  2. To this whipped cream, add cocoa powder and powdered sugar and mix it carefully with the spoon.
  3. Next, add the vanilla extract and again whip the cream till it becomes stiff peaks form.
  4. Finally, put the mixture equally in all serving bowls or glasses, top them with whipped cream, and sprinkle a little cocoa powder. This is best served within a minimum of 1 hour.

3. Thick Chocolate Mousse 

This double chocolate thick mousse recipe is perfect for you if you like to go a little extra with the chocolaty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 cups heavy cream, divided
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of the heavy cream to a bare simmer. Pour the cream over the chopped chocolate, let sit for 1 minute. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, then whisk until smooth. Cover and chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes to cool.
  2. Beat 2 cups heavy cream and powdered sugar in a medium bowl with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed to stiff peaks, about 3 minutes. Put 1/2 of the whipped cream in a container and store in the fridge until needed for decorating.
  3. Give the chocolate mixture a whisk, then fold it into the remaining whipped cream with a silicone spatula until no streaks remain.

Ingredients

Mousse

  •  2 cups heavy whipping cream
  •  1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup heavy cream with the chocolate chips. Microwave for 2 minutes, stirring and adding additional time if needed. Allow the melted chocolate to cool to room temperature.
  2. Pour the remaining 1 & 1/2 cups heavy cream into the chilled bowl and beat on high with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  3. Add the cooled chocolate to the whipped cream and beat until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
  4. Divide the mousse into individual serving containers. Cover the containers with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

5. Eggless Chocolate Mousse With Ganache 

Ingredients

For the ganache

  •  225 gms Dark chocolate
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the mousse

  •  2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

Ganache

  1. Chop the chocolate into even pieces. Heat the cream for 30 seconds – 40 seconds or until you can see bubbles around. Do not overheat the cream. It will curdle and overflow.
  2. Pour the cream over the chocolate, make sure all the chocolate is covered. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, whisk the chocolate and cream well. Add the butter and mix well.
  4. Make sure it’s a homogeneous mix. Set aside.

Mousse

  1. Take 2 cups of cream and add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Whip well until it forms soft peaks, about 7 minutes.
  2. Now add the cooled ganache and whip well until it forms stiff peaks.
  3. Scoop into serving bowls and let it sit for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Garnish with chocolate chips, curls or nuts or even whipped cream and serve.

A young guy named Talha Rashid took to Twitter to report something horrifying. It’s insanely cruel and heart-wrenching, a soft-hearted person can never watch.

Two Brothers And Their Cruelty

Talha Rashid’s two uncles stormed into his house and cruelly beat his mother and his grandmother. Unfortunately for them, everything was recorded. It appears the two women were inside a room at first and they barged in despite their consent.

Upon coming inside they started thrashing their sister with a helmet and also a small hammer. When the grandmother used to step in to protect her daughter, she was also hit her severely. The video is so gut-wrenching because it shows how the women fall like cards upon one hit by the men.

Talha Rashid raised his voice on Twitter. He started the trend of #HelpArsalanFamily to protect his mother and grandmother. Their uncles attacked their sister and mother while Arsalan and his brother were not home. Moreover, Arsalan’s brother shares that this property issue has been persisting for 6 years and is still unresolved.

 The two brothers barbarically beat their sister and mother over property issues.

The Result? 

Abbas Ahsan, DIG of Punjab, was tagged in all the tweets. Later, he tweeted that action has been taken. The two culprits are arrested and a case has been registered against them.  Arsalan also went on to talk about how much our society has regressed for such incidents to be happening.

Unfortunately, property issues have been the cause of many fights and barbaric incidents in Pakistan. Unless there is strict observance of law and also some amendments, the situation is unlikely to change.

How Are The Victims Now?

The victims, namely Talha Rashid’s mother and grandmother, are better. His mother is still suffering from headaches and blurred vision because she was struck by a hammer several times. Though the son claims this is nothing serious, being struck by on the head is far from not serious. 

In several such incidents, internal bleeding can happen too.  In addition to that, we hope this country can serve them justice by arresting, charging and imprisoning the brothers. This beating is not simply a case of property it’s a case of men versus women at heart. The brothers could not bear their sister asking for her part. They also felt superior and hence, knew they could beat them. This is exactly what must change.

The HumStyleAwards each year are the biggest event that Pakistani idols, celebrities and fashion squad look forward to. It’s the highest budgeted event with elaborate performances, judges, and awards all lined up for a magic experience. Two such attendees during the night were Aima Baig and Shabaz Shigri who made their appearance as a couple.

The couple in question was dressed to the nines. Aima Baig was supporting a red silk gown with a zircon, blingy choker. Besides that, her makeup was like her usual style— minimal! She also complemented her look with a ponytail that made it look all nice and neat.

Interviewers and media only had one question for the two. When is the wedding going to be? The two were humble and hilarious with everyone who posed the question and did not mind answering it a gazillion times. Their answer was generally the same throughout!

Alizeh Shah is someone who remains in the spotlight for controversial reasons. Be it the breakup with Noaman Sami or her dressing in a certain music video, she attracted quite some backlash. For some reason, the Pakistani audience has also decided to make her the focus of every possible issue. This is the only possible explanation for why Alizeh Shah’s look is trending after the Hum Style Awards of this year.

Even though there were many celebrities shamelessly copying Hollywood and Bollywood stars on the day, Alizeh Shah got the most attention. It could be because of her drastically changing figure or the non-aligning personality of her real self with the characters she plays, Pakistanis are not able to accept her, it seems. Hence, leaving aside Urwa Hocane, Nausheen Shah, even Sonya Hussyn, they only targetted Alizeh for wearing a dress they labelled as revealing.

Ever since the red carpet video emerged where Alizeh was flaunting her dress and waving her arm, people couldn’t digest it. And as Pakistani are known best for, they started trolling her and criticizing her with memes.

Of course, since Pakistanis’ meme game is on point, the jokes are funny and relatable but they must be hurtful to the person in question. But let’s take a look at some of those memes. The best one yet was where Alizeh Shah is in one of her characters praying so she is all covered. And the second one is from the Hum Style Awards. The memers describe it as the first semester and last semester dressing.

Well, we are all witnesses to that, I am not gonna lie.

Do they mean the duck was the masterpiece? Ouch.

While the only thing the Pakistanis can think of in such situations is editing a hijab on the revealing dresses, but this was not their best works. The one they did for Saba Qamar on her birthday was better. But oh well, it fits the purpose.

Of course, the men have to roast their eyes and look at every celebrity but then they also get on their tasbih to show how pious they are.

The editors got on to Alizeh Shah’s case once again and edited it to give it a masculine touch.

The point of it all is that they wanted to troll the girl and they did even if they weren’t as funny as they wanted to sound.

Hopefully, with time Alizeh Shah will find her person and be able to own how she wants to show herself. Until then, let’s hope Pakistanis will give her some breathing space.

Kashmir Premier League Kicks-Off With A Mega Draft Event

The countdown for the first edition of Kashmir Premier League (KPL 2021) began with a grand launch- the KPL Draft Event which was held on 3rd July in the national capital Islamabad. All six of the franchise owners, along with the teams’ respective think-tanks participated in the event, all in a bid to pick the most balanced team which could potentially claim the inaugural title of the Kashmir Premier League.

The red carpet of the event kicked-off at 5:30 PM with the arrival of the invitees which included some well-known names from different fields. Chairman Kashmir committee Mr. Shehryar Khan Afridi, Senator Faisal Javed, President KPL Arif Malik, and CEO KPL Shehzad Chaudhry attended the event. The legendary Waseem Akram (Vice President KPL), Shahid Afridi (Brand Ambassador), Inzamam ul Haq, Shoaib Malik, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Umar Amin and Abdul Razzaq also graced the event with their presence. The honorable guests shared their views with the media upon arrival, and showed a lot of excitement for a league that would represent Kashmir in the world of cricket for the very first time.

The event started with a welcome speech delivered by Director Cricket Operations KPL Taimoor Ali Khan. He spoke about how the Young Talent from Kashmir would be promoted by the league on an international level. Vice President of KPL Wasim Akram was the first honored guest to speak to the audience, and following him was the living-legend Shahid Afridi who is also the brand ambassador of the KPL. They both highlighted the importance of the KPL as an initiative towards a better and prosperous Kashmir. They further praised and admired the efforts of the KPL management for such a huge initiative.

Senator Faisal Javed and Chairman Parliamentary Committee Shehryar Khan Afridi also congratulated the management for this revolutionary initiative for Kashmir. They also endorsed the KPL and ensured the continuous support from the government at every step for the success of the league.

Soon after, the players’ auction began and all the six franchises got busy picking players in the various categories- Overseas, Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging.

The six teams participating in the KPL 2021 are Rawlakot Hawks captained by Shahid Afridi, Muzafarabad Tigers captained by Muhammd Hafeez, Mirpur Royals captained by Shoaib Malik, Kotli Lions Captained by Fakhar Zaman, Bagh Stallions captained by Shadab Khan, and Overseas Warrior captained by Imad Wasim.

Finally, the sensational draft event concluded with a commitment towards a successful inaugural season of the Kashmir Premier League which will be starting from the 6th-17th August, 2021 in Muzaffarabad, A J & K.

Each year, Pakistan Super League (PSL) brings the nation together to watch the spectacle that the biggest cricket tournament in the country is about, and this year the stakes became way higher with Surf Excel’s Daaghon Ka Champion Trophy taking over the country with its high-stakes diving frenzy!

Plastered all over social and conventional media, Surf Excel Daaghon Ka Champion trophy, for which they have partnered with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made this season’s heart-stopping dives the central focus for the fans. Rather than just the sixes and catch-outs which the fans usually loved, the popular detergent brand announced a whopping grand prize of PKR 500,000 for the player who did the most dives, making it just what everyone is talking about right now.

Garnering massive buzz after hitting our television and digital screens, Surf Excel’s series of commercials featuring top-class cricketers from Pakistan such as Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Rizwan initially piqued everyone’s interests as the first TVC took to the waves. Shown collaboratively performing a dive to get stains on their clothes, the commercial ends with all three of the players covered in stains, leaving the audience, fans and influencers curious about who the winner of the newly announced Daaghon Ka Champion trophy will be and how they can support them! 

Taking to their social media and proving that cricket runs in our blood, the biggest names in influencers such as Mariam Tariq Rana, Aqsa Zunaib, Faiza Saleem, Amna Niazi, Fariha Asghar, Daniyal Sheikh, Tashfeen Arshad, Aden Rehan, Syed Muzamil, Rafay Butt, Mansoor Qureshi, Mubeen Ul Haq, Sobia Saleem, Ghazanfer Jaffery, Rida Mirza, Rehab Siddiqui, Mehak Raheel, Nayab Ijaz, Azlan Shah, Anica, and Maryam & Aylah proved just how fun taking a dive for their favourite cricketer could actually be. 

We saw the influencers making some super thrilling moves as they did their fair share of adrenaline-pumping dives, jumps and everything in between!

Mubeen Ul Haq for example, had us in stitches over his dive as he chose to protect himself from some martial art-style flying bottles coming towards him as he came out in support of Babar Azam! On the other hand, Muzamil Hasan’s take on the dive had us rooting for his favourite player, Shadab Khan even more.

The anticipation only grew further with each match and of course, each new Surf Excel TVC as we got to see more action come out! The second commercial, which featured Faheem Ashraf,  hilariously proved that dive mania is at its pinnacle by diving even when he didn’t need to in order to win the game! Quirky and funny at the same time, we saw many imitating the best of players during the campaign to make their favourites win the Daaghon Ka Champion Trophy.

The interest wasn’t just over social media though! Seeing Pakistan’s best cricketers take such an adventurous part in the Daaghon Ka Champion Trophy, many known faces of television news shows and morning shows also took their dive!! Be it, GEO’s transmission where during the PSL discussions we saw a dive taking place or everyone’s favourite tongue-in-cheek show, Mazaaqraat, where we saw the supremely funny comedians taking a dive, the support for the DKC Trophy has been keeping everyone on the edge of their seats! 

If that wasn’t enough, the fact that 17 Pakistani channels ended up airing the best dives from the 2nd leg of PSL on their airtime is proof of just how much everyone was obsessed with the dives this time around!

Continuing with an amalgam of sportsman spirit and hilarity in one, the third commercial from Surf Excel’s Daaghon Ka Champion went further on the comic element when much-loved commentator and former cricketer Bazid Khan took to the pitch, and some great ‘daagh’ action ensued. Taking a dive on the ground, Bazid proves there’s just about no one left who isn’t fully participating for their chance for the big win!

Finally culminating into its main purpose of the cricketer with the best dives winning, it was Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Rizwan, Akhlaq Ahmed, and Shahnawaz Dhani who scored the highest on the leaderboard for the grand prize of PKR 500,000. Making it big with his mark in the end with an array of dives and the support of influencers was Shahnawaz Dhani, who won with a whopping  [final winning number added here] dives!

We have always loved Surf Excel’s ‘Daagh Toh Achay Hotay Hain’ legacy for all it stands for, but with the Daaghon Ka Champion Trophy, they proved that no one could make that concept as adventurous, fun, and worthwhile with their take on Pakistan’s favourite sport, cricket!

The world of TikTok and the people behind it are full of scandals and controversies. No wonder it faces a ban now and then from the government of Pakistan. The TikTokers are now taking over different streams of media while they make appearances in talk shows and tv dramas.

One such show which goes by the name of Khush Raho features TikTokers from all over Pakistan. On the show, they are seen playing games and doing fun activities that sometimes take an odd turn. A similar incident was seen in yesterday’s show when the video went viral of the host Faysal Qureshi lashing out on a TikToker.

Faysal Qureshi Gets Angry 

In what seems like a birthday celebration we can see the Tiktokers and the host standing and singing the birthday song. However, a girl started to hit a guy amidst the song and the guy who got hit was the one whose birthday celebration was going on.

Looking at the situation Faysal gets angry and hot-tempered as he called out the girl and shouts; “What are you doing? The show is going live”.

He suddenly left the set while calling them out ill-mannered and disrespectful.

The whole situation took a sudden shift and everyone felt uncomfortable while most of them took to their seats waiting for the host to calm down.

Scripted or Unplanned? 

The majority of the people believe that the whole scenario was scripted and planned for ratings and TRP. While similar incidents have also occurred previously where we have seen the host scolding the participants. Some people are furious as to why this show is still going on.

Sometimes, we see accidents occur on a massive scale. They can be due to a malfunction or a wrong reading. If we take a look at Chernobyl, that was also a form of accident. Their safety measure is what caused the RBMK reactor to explode. Similarly, the Gulf of Mexico sees quite a lot of accidents and eruptions each year. These are either due to malfunctions on oil rigs or gas leaks in pipelines.

These accidents can, sometimes, amount to a great scale and that causes even more problems. In such a case, one cannot imagine how dire the situation can really get. It is tricky to maintain underwater pipelines and even trickier to correct them. If a leak does occur, it has to be fixed in as short a time as possible otherwise disaster strikes. However, on the Gulf of Mexico not too long ago, a gas leak occurred.

According to sources, there was a gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico. The leak itself occurred in an underwater gas pipeline. Within minutes, the entire area erupted into flames as the gas caught the atmosphere. The situation escalated quite fast and emergency response teams had to be called in. In such times, the entire area is cleared of ships and the sole focus is the fire.

Due to a continuous stream of gas leaking, the fire kept on going for a while. One might get surprised how water can catch fire. However, it is not the body of water that comes in contact with fire. Due to the gas being less dense, it rises to the surface and stays there. The stream of gas kept fueling the fire once it had erupted.

Disasters On Water

Among all this, they have also stated that the fire has also helped the situation a bit. While the methane leaking can be problematic, too much methane can be an even bigger issue. The fire consumed hydrocarbons from the atmosphere and the water, containing the possibility of more damage. It has been reported that company workers used nitrogen to control the fire spread.

However, the good news is that the fire has finally been put out. It was one scary experience but the situation has been handled well. The company has said that they will look into the cause of it. This means that a formal investigation will be launched and the pipeline will be checked. There must be gauges on the pipeline that can tell us what happened.

A man in Pakistan just bought land on the moon. The ‘Malik Riaz of the Moon’ has purchased 5 acres because they were for a very low cost and he believes this can be the future.

How Did This Happen?

The man in question, Izam Ali, said that an organisation is working in Pakistan who offer to sell you property on the moon. They have different packages ranging from deluxe to silver to suit everyone’s needs. This organisation is basically working to sell land of the ‘moon society’ developing.

The said organisation also gives you option to buy 2, 3, 4 or 5 acres of land on the moon. The upper limit is fixed on 5 acres which are priced around $150. Izam Ali believes that we spend so much for no reason on eating outside etc, why not spend on something that can be profitable? “It was such a low cost”, he kept repeating.

How To Visit Home?

The most important question is how do people who have bought property on the moon, actually go to see their property. It turns out that Izam Ali was told legal owners will be sent via a shuttle. One will be organised for them to go. However, that will be expensive and they will have to bear the cost of it.

There was a time when vehicle production was quite limited in the country. Now, with the new auto policy around the corner, many details have been revealed. People would be glad to know that there are many things speaking in their favour. The auto policy applies to every vehicle coming into the country or being locally assembled.

However, there is an added bonus for some specific sets of vehicles. Firstly, there are a lot of good things in store for vehicles with displacements less than or equal to 1000cc. Secondly, there is even more good news for people who wish to purchase electric vehicles. Despite the pandemic raging throughout the world, Pakistan has managed to thrive and release a robust auto policy. Let us dive into the details of it!

Auto Policy And Tax Reductions

Firstly, let us take a look at the compacts which are being affected. At first, the policy only stretched to vehicles equal to and below 800cc. Now, with more development, the policy stretches even further. Vehicles of 1000cc and below are now under the radar of the auto policy. According to the figures,

  • Additional Customs Duty (ACD) has been brought down from 7 percent to 2 percent.
  • FED has also been reduced by 2.5 percent, leaving a lot of room for growth.

Going further into the FED details,

  • For 660cc to 1000cc ranges, FED has gone from 2.5 percent to absolute zero!
  • For 1001cc onwards till 2000cc, the FED has gone from 5 percent to 2.5 percent.

That is not all. The FED reduction applies to 2001cc to 3500cc vehicles too. Here, the reduction is from 7.5 percent to 5 percent. This shows that a lot of work ahs been done to make sure cars become more affordable. The engine capacity ranges shows that majority of the cars come under this bracket. This includes sedans, compacts as well as SUVs.

Additional Details On Auto Policy:

Talking specific to the first range (660cc to 1000cc), there is quite a lot to tell here alone. Firstly, the GST has gone down from 17 percent to 12.5 percent. However, this is only applicable on 1000cc and below cars locally assembled in Pakistan. Secondly, the VAT on CKD vehicles has been completely abolished. This also applies to 1000cc vehicles.

Thirdly, as discussed above, the FED has been removed. It has gone from 2.5 percent to 0 in the blink of an eye! While this is a plate-full of good news, it is not all that we have for you. The auto policy contains details of a robust EV segment too.

EV Details:

In an attempt to make sure the public embraces clean technology, EVs are seeing good news too. The GST has been reduced from 17 percent to 1 percent on locally assembled EVs. This could mean the new MG HS EV, which is being locally assembled in the country. Additionally, only 1 percent will be incurred on the import of EV parts. Apart from this, registration fee and tax on 2-3 wheeled EVs has also been abolished.

There is nothing but good news for vehicle buyers in this entire article. The people want to be able to afford vehicles and the auto policy has certainly made it easier to do so. The KPK government has announced the registration of vehicles up to 2500cc, down to Rs.1. This all seems a bit too good to be true.
