In partnership with IHOP, Pepsi is celebrating pancake lovers everywhere with a new, highly limited-edition flavor, Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola. Moreover, the drink combines the indulgent flavor profile of maple syrup with the crisp, refreshing caramel notes of a Pepsi.

“There is truly nothing quite like the indulgent taste of Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola—sweet maple syrup blended with the refreshing taste of Pepsi-Cola,” said Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

It is rumored that Apple is reportedly working on selling iPhones and iPads as part of a hardware subscription service. This report came on Bloomberg first and the writer suggests that it could be happening in late 2022 or 2023. Moreover, according to the report, the monthly charge so far isn’t the price of the device divided by 12 or 24 months. It is going to be something else because this offer is somewhat still there.

Trip Down Memory Lane 

My first memory of getting fascinated by designer lawn goes as far as 2010 when I was just a teenager and the trends weren’t taking a toll on us but sure were meaningful. I stumbled upon a brand catalogue filled with pictures of models posing in the middle of the dessert. Needless to say, I felt excited. Adorned with heavy jewellery and flowy dupattas, the lawn dresses felt like a breath of fresh air with minimalist designs and classic chunri and floral prints that could be recycled for the next five years. Of course, I couldn’t get my hands on the dresses, but to this day, I wonder, when did our love for lawn turn into this manic illusion created by society?

Fast forward to this day, when the digital catalogues have replaced the print ones, I don’t feel as excited looking at them as I used to. Because as a Millennial, I would prefer to feel the essence of the lawn through catalogues. Or is it because the whole charm of adorning ourselves in lawn dresses have to turn into a whole facade of who gets their hand on the designs first.

Famous TikTok Star Khaby Lame has been chosen by PepsiCo to promote its new Nitrogen-infused cola, Nitro Pepsi.

According to Marketing Dive, the silent Senegalese-Italian star with over 135 million TikTok followers has been recruited for the print, billboard, and TV ad campaign that will use the tagline “a smoother way to soda.

Khaby Lame’s Ad Debut 

Lame’s content largely involves him staging silent reactions to other users’ posts. While he focus on mocking “life-hack” or how-to videos that he deems counterintuitive.

Lame is the fastest-growing global account on TikTok, according to Pepsi, and the most-followed male creator on the platform.

In a TikTok video, Lame wordlessly demonstrates the proper way to pour the product while standing at a bar. Playing up the beverage’s more premium positioning, print and out-of-home ads emphasize the outsized facial expressions and gestures that have made Lame into a social media star.

“Since Khaby Lame is known for pointing out the obvious with the use of his signature hand gestures. PepsiCo Pakistan: World Water Day

Water is a fundamental human right and there is a need to focus on clean water provision to every national of Pakistan. PepsiCo, in collaboration with WaterAid, is working towards improving the access to clean water to underserved urban communities in Pakistan. This ongoing partnership is expected to provide communities, healthcare facilities, and schools with sustainable access to clean drinking water.

Increasing access to safe water for vulnerable individuals is one of the most urgent challenges the world faces. Many societies have compromised water supplies that have contaminated water sources. Pak Colony in Karachi is an example of an area with scarce access to clean water. PepsiCo Pakistan, in collaboration with Water Aid and funding from PepsiCo Foundation has installed a water filtration plant at Pak Colony. The plant provides access to safe water to 100,000 citizens which include three educational institutions in the vicinity.

PepsiCo Pakistan’s safe water program has enabled clean water for over 200,000 people in the urban underserved areas of Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. PepsiCo plans to continue to expand this program into rural areas.

PepsiCo’s water strategy is designed to enable long-term, sustainable water security for its business and for local communities that depend on an accessible and reliable supply of clean, safe water. Through partnerships funded by The PepsiCo Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm, PepsiCo since 2006 has helped more than 55 million people gain access to safe water through distribution, purification, and conservation programs, far surpassing the company’s original target to help 25 million people by 2025. Is United Motors Saying Goodbye To Bravo & Alpha?

United Motors is planning to discontinue the 800cc Bravo and 1000cc Alpha hatchbacks. It is rumored that the company will shift back its focus on 2- and 3-wheeler production, thus wrapping up its operations of the 4-wheeler business.

Bravo Takes Over Mehran 

The Bravo was launched in September 2018 as an alternative to Suzuki Mehran. However, the car couldn’t become a success as much as it was anticipated due to its build quality issues and limited nationwide network.

According to the sources, United was not satisfied with the quality standards of Dahe, the principal responsible for producing the DH350s, due to which there has been no supply of the CKD kits for a long time. Despite, United has been increasing the price of Bravo in regular intervals despite no new kits being imported.

Company Setbacks

Meanwhile, the company cannot get rid of the stocks it already has. The company was also supposed to launch Punjnad commercial pickup. However, the move never materialized, and the launch of an automatic variant of Bravo that was coming out in 2020 was also ceased.

In January 2021, United launched the 1000cc Alpha hatchback, which was initially a first-gen Chery QQ facelift. While that was discontinued in China several years ago, sources say, United’s move to approach Chery was also because it was dissatisfied with Dahe regarding the quality issues of the Bravo hatchback.

The Truth About The Closure 

“This is nothing but a false and baseless rumor. United Motors is not at all shutting down its operations. The company is going stronger than ever. We are selling both our car models, Bravo and Alpha, and delivering the cars within a week.” says company officials.

Meanwhile, the dealer’s statement regarding the rumors seems to be true. As they mentioned, no restocks of the car shortly.

“We have under 50 units of United Bravo and Alpha. Once we sell these, there won’t be any restocks. The cars will be discontinued in the market.”
