From colonies infested with tiny and big flags to roadsides swarmed with people with their faces painted green. Pakistan celebrating its 75th independence day was a sight to behold!
Jazz, in an exclusive attempt to pay tribute to the country on its 75th Independence day did something that was never done before and left the rest in awe! To connect with the masses, Jazz chose to wish Independence day in a language that everybody understands: Music!
The competition also served the purpose of bringing Pakistan its newest National song. The national song that exuded inclusivity, culture, unity and perseverance.
What came next was a celebration of the country, its people and their collective struggle to keep it intact throughout the years. And what’s the one thing that glues everyone together and at the same time amplifies their excitement? Music. Jazz understood that and proceeded to organize and host a national song competition that streamed on Pakistan’s mainstream channels and various other platforms. The hunt for Pakistan’s national song on its 75th Independence day streamed on the 11th,12th and 13th of August 2022. The behemoth event that entertained millions of people had 10 finalists competing in the end, who were chosen out of many thousands.The contestants set the stage ablaze with their super entertaining and mind blowing performances while the nation rejoiced in the spirit of independence to the catchy tunes.
The viewers witnessed a process of extreme expertise and a journey of exploration that well-known artists who sat on the judges panel stepped on to choose the best of the best. While the audience liked every contestant for the reflection of their hearts in their performances, it was Hassan Bin Tariq who won the hearts of the audiences and wooed the judges with his melodious voice box. Safe to say, the event was a symbol of true pop culture of Pakistan and Jazz managed to pull it off with the same high quotient of zest and excitement.
