A few days ago, following repeated inquiries during interviews regarding her similarity to the actress Aishwarya Rai, Kanwal opted to share a video message to stop such comparisons and appealed to the public to focus on her professional accomplishments. In this message, Cheema passionately encourages individuals to recognize and appreciate her for her professional achievements rather than her physical appearance.
‘A woman is always known for her looks and it is very unfair to them. A woman is much more than her looks. It is high time to start a conversation on this topic. Everyone is unique with their own identity. People shouldn’t be compared to others and just known for that.’ She said in her video message.
However, her video was met with severe criticism and the public outed the entrepreneur for her stance on her resemblance with Aishwarya Rai. Under the comments section, the public couldn’t help but shut down her criticism for comparisons. Meanwhile, netizens prompted her to stop dressing up like Rai so that people could put an end to these comparisons.
Plenty of comments were about empowering and encouraging her to do her own thing. However, not everyone was happy with her outlook and how she chose to dress up. The public’s remarks were all about posing double standards and being hypocritical of the situation.
Here are some comments from her video message below.

Messages sent through WhatsApp Channels will be available for a duration of 30 days, ensuring that important information remains accessible over time. Apple has long been a frontrunner in the smartphone camera arena, consistently delivering reliable image quality with each new iPhone iteration. However, this year, the iPhone 15 series is making waves with its substantial camera upgrades, enriching the photography experience for both the premium Pro models and the more budget-friendly iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
The spotlight of this year’s camera evolution revolves around two key enhancements: the introduction of a new 48MP main camera for the regular iPhones and the debut of a groundbreaking 5x telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. But the improvements don’t stop there, with a plethora of smaller upgrades and refinements, including enhancements to beloved features like Portrait Mode, HDR, and Night Mode.

iPhone 15 Camera Specs in a Nutshell
Before delving into the details, here’s a snapshot of the camera specs for all iPhone 15 models:
iPhone 15: New 48MP primary sensor
iPhone 15 Plus: New 48MP primary sensor
iPhone 15 Pro: Enhanced 48MP main sensor with HEIF support
iPhone 15 Pro Max: Enhanced 48MP main sensor with HEIF support and a groundbreaking 5x zoom telephoto camera
Now, let’s dive into the exciting world of iPhone 15 camera upgrades and features.
New 48MP Main Sensor for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are equipped with a game-changing 48MP primary camera sensor, promising significantly higher detail in images. Users have the option to leverage the full 48MP if desired, but the default Super High-Resolution Photo Mode captures 24MP images, striking a balance between detail and storage efficiency.
This sensor upgrade also enables a 2X sensor crop, delivering high-quality 2X zoom capabilities without the need for a dedicated telephoto camera. This feature essentially transforms the regular iPhones into triple-camera systems.
Moreover, shooting video with the main camera now offers seamless zoom transitions between 1x and 2x ranges, thanks to the introduction of continuous zoom.
Advanced 48MP Main Sensor for Pro Models
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max take camera excellence to the next level with an even larger 48MP main image sensor. This sensor can capture images at 48MP not only in ProRAW format but also in HEIF, ready for instant web sharing.
The new nanoscale coating on the Pro models aims to reduce lens flare, potentially eliminating those pesky light dots often seen in iPhone photography.
Additionally, the focal length of the main camera has slightly shortened to 24mm (from 26mm on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max). This sensor also offers 1.2X and 1.5X sensor crop options, giving users access to three distinct “main” camera focal lengths within the camera app.

5X Zoom Telephoto Camera for iPhone 15 Pro Max
One of the most exciting developments in the iPhone 15 series is exclusive to the top-tier iPhone 15 Pro Max – a 5X optical zoom telephoto camera. Apple has achieved this remarkable zoom capability through a tetra-prism design, which reflects incoming light through the lens four times before reaching the sensor.
With this groundbreaking feature, Apple is addressing a longstanding need for iPhone users who desired more than the conventional 3X zoom. The periscope lens and 5X optical zoom offer exciting possibilities for capturing distant subjects with astonishing clarity.
As Apple’s iPhone 15 series enters the market with these remarkable camera upgrades, it’s clear that the company is committed to redefining the smartphone photography experience. Users can now expect unparalleled imaging capabilities, ensuring that their iPhone continues to be their go-to camera for capturing life’s precious moments.

Star Pakistani fast bowler, Naseem Shah, faces uncertainty as he may miss the early matches of the highly anticipated 2023 ODI World Cup, scheduled to begin on October 5 in India.
Babar Azam, the team’s captain, addressed concerns surrounding the injuries to Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, expressing hope that the young 20-year-old pacer, Naseem Shah, could potentially return later in the tournament. However, the exact timeline for his recovery remains uncertain, keeping fans and the team in suspense.
Azam also conveyed optimism about Haris Rauf’s prospects, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has yet to confirm Shahnawaz Dahani as his replacement in the Asia Cup squad. Pakistan’s beloved margarine brand is under the social media radar for all the right reasons. The latest ad of Blue Band is going viral for poor production and comprehension. Needless to say, it’s a massive failure.
Blue Band’s Ad
The brand released its latest product with a release of the TV commercial. The small-sized margarine packets which are easy to carry and can be packed in school lunch boxes are the recent product offered by Blue Band. However, the very poor production of the TV ad has left people wondering.
One of the glaring issues in the TV commercial is the choice of copy. The ad features a mixture of English and Urdu words that not only fail to convey a coherent message but also make little sense to the audience. The ad copy, which includes phrases like “Fridge ki koi nae ha need, school lay ja kar kro eat!” leaves viewers puzzled and unimpressed.
In addition to the poor choice of copy, the mix of English and Urdu in the advertisement further adds to the confusion. This linguistic mishmash not only fails to effectively communicate the product’s benefits but also detracts from the overall appeal of the ad.
One of the major drawbacks using these packets for school lunches is that unlike traditional margarine tubs or spreads, these small packets can be cumbersome for school kids to handle. Spreading margarine on bread, a common school snack, becomes a challenge with these packets, as they lack the convenience of a proper spreading tool.
While Blue Band’s attempt to introduce a new product is commendable, the issues with both the TV commercial and the practicality of the product have left consumers wondering whether this innovation truly meets the needs of its target audience—school children and their caregivers. It serves as a reminder that product innovation must align with user-friendliness and effective communication to resonate with consumers.
In a groundbreaking study, Dutch researchers have discovered that ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI, is capable of diagnosing emergency room patients with a degree of accuracy comparable to that of human doctors. This revelation has the potential to revolutionize the field of medicine, but it also highlights the invaluable role human medical professionals continue to play in healthcare.
The Study and its Implications
The study, published on September 13, 2023, emphasized that while AI like ChatGPT can expedite the diagnostic process, it should not replace the medical judgment and experience of healthcare professionals. The research involved an analysis of 30 emergency cases treated in the Netherlands in 2022. Anonymized patient histories, laboratory test results, and doctors’ observations were fed into ChatGPT, which was then tasked with providing five potential diagnoses for each case.
AI vs. Human Doctors
The results were astonishing. When comparing the top five diagnoses suggested by ER doctors with those offered by ChatGPT, version 3.5 of the chatbot achieved a 97% accuracy rate, outperforming the human doctors who achieved 87% accuracy. Version 4.0 of ChatGPT matched the doctors’ accuracy at 87%.
Hidde ten Berg, from the emergency medicine department at the Netherlands’ Jeroen Bosch Hospital, summarized the findings by stating that “ChatGPT was able to suggest medical diagnoses much like a human doctor would.”
AI’s Complementary Role
However, it’s crucial to note that this study underscores the complementary role of AI in healthcare rather than its replacement. Co-author Steef Kurstjens stressed that the chatbot doesn’t replace physicians but can assist them in diagnosis and possibly generate novel ideas for consideration.
Source: Wired
Challenges and Privacy Concerns
One critical point highlighted in the study is that large language models like ChatGPT are not originally designed as medical devices. Privacy concerns also loom large when considering the integration of confidential and sensitive medical data into a chatbot.
The study also uncovered some limitations of ChatGPT. The chatbot’s reasoning at times proved medically implausible or inconsistent, potentially leading to misinformation or incorrect diagnoses. Additionally, the sample size of the study was relatively small, consisting of only 30 cases, primarily with patients presenting a single primary complaint. The efficacy of ChatGPT in diagnosing more complex or rare diseases remains uncertain.
The Future of AI in Healthcare
Nonetheless, the study’s results open up exciting possibilities for the integration of AI in healthcare. It has the potential to save time, reduce waiting times in emergency departments, and support less experienced doctors or help identify rare diseases. The study will be presented at the European Emergency Medicine Congress (EUSEM) 2023 in Barcelona.
While ChatGPT may not replace the ER physician, it showcases the promising role that AI can play in the medical field, offering both assistance and the potential to enhance healthcare outcomes.

Singing for fun and singing on stage as a professional are two entirely different mediums. However, Hira Mani fails to understand this as her recent concert for her fans has the internet trolls in fits.
Hira Mani’s USA Concert
The actress on her vacation to the USA holds concerts for her beloved fans. The audience which is usually Pakistanis settled abroad is often seen attending her shows. However, not everyone is amused with the fact that Hira Mani is not a professional, and having a good voice doesn’t mean you get to hold concerts anywhere. Her dance moves, alongside her singing, have also become the talk of the town as she is seen jumping on stage wearing an emerald green jumpsuit.
The actress also took to her Instagram to post about her first show in Virginia Islands, USA. The concert which was held to commemorate the independence day of Pakistan was attended by Pakistanis in the USA.
Fans have been criticizing Hira Mani for all the obvious reasons previously. The internet trolls made their way to the comments section of the post and posted their thoughts in a way of ruthless comments.
A few days ago an entrepreneur who goes by the name of Kanwal Cheema was interviewed at an event. Kanwal, who resembles Indian actress, Aishwarya Rai, in more than one way, was blowing up the internet for her uncanny resemblance with former Miss World.
After getting questions in interviews over her resemblance to the actress Kanwal shut down the comparisons and asked the public to take an interest in her work. However, continuous publicity and comparisons led her to record a video message for the public and Cheema is urging people to appreciate her for her work rather than her looks.
Kanwal Cheema On Her Resemblance To Aishwarya Rai
Taking to her social media, the entrepreneur said that everybody is unique in their way.
‘I’m being called Pakistan’s Aishwarya Rai and Aishwarya Rai’s doppelganger. Aishwarya herself is a very unique and accomplished person. It’s not fair to her as well to compare her to anybody. As far as I’m concerned, I came to Pakistan to start an online digital charity application, which brings transparency and clarity to the charity process. It’s called ‘My Impact Meter’ and that’s what I want to be known for, not a copy of someone else. I would rather be the best possible version of myself than a copy of somebody else. What I wear, how I dress up, people shouldn’t be commenting on that.’
‘A woman is always known for her looks and it is very unfair to them. A woman is much more than her looks. It is high time to start a conversation on this topic. Everyone is unique with their own identity. People shouldn’t be compared to others and just known for that. She added.

The release of a new iPhone model is always met with a whirlwind of excitement, anticipation, and debate among tech enthusiasts and Apple aficionados. One aspect that has generated a significant amount of discussion over the years is the choice of iPhone colors. While Apple has been praised for its design innovation and sleek aesthetics, not everyone is happy with the color options offered for the recent series of iPhone 15.
This year’s Apple event unveiled the colors for the iPhone 15 series and safe to say it is every pastel lover’s dream. However, not everyone is happy with the choice of colors offered by the recent range.
An aspect that has sparked previous criticism is the way certain iPhone colors have been associated with gender stereotypes. In the past, Apple has offered pink and rose gold iPhone models, which some users felt reinforced traditional gender roles. This led to calls for more gender-neutral color options, challenging the notion that certain colors are exclusively for men or women. However, the latest iPhone collection is still more inclined toward female-representative colors. Many users have shown their disregard if this series is made for women only.
While Apple’s iPhone lineup consistently offers cutting-edge technology and performance, the choice of colors remains a contentious topic among consumers. People want their smartphones to be an extension of their personality and style, and for some, the limited color options and lack of customization fall short of these expectations.
Apple’s approach to iPhone colors is undoubtedly a matter of design philosophy and brand identity, but the company needs to consider the diverse preferences and desires of its user base. As technology continues to evolve, so too should the options for personalization and self-expression through smartphone colors.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

Apple’s iPhone 14 users have been grappling with declining battery health, a concern that’s now gaining significant attention. Reports of maximum battery capacity dropping to as low as 88% after less than a year of usage have left some users frustrated. While Apple maintains that its devices are designed to retain up to 80% of their original capacity after 500 charge cycles, the diminishing battery life remains a significant issue.
The Power of 3nm Architecture
However, there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon for iPhone enthusiasts worried about their device’s longevity. The forthcoming iPhone 15, set to feature the groundbreaking A17 Pro processor built on 3nm architecture, could mark a significant turning point for battery life.
Source: Elevate
iPhone 15’s 3nm Marvel
The iPhone 15’s 3nm architecture is groundbreaking, making it the smallest processor ever integrated into a smartphone. While the primary focus has been on enhancing the Pro series’ power, the implications for battery life are equally exciting.
Mark Liu, the chairman of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, has suggested that this cutting-edge technology could lead to a remarkable 35% reduction in power consumption. Such an improvement could have a profound impact on the device’s overall battery life.
A Longer Battery Life
Source: 9to5Mac
To put this into perspective, the iPhone 14 Pro boasted a battery life of approximately 10 hours and 13 minutes. If we consider Liu’s estimate, this could potentially translate into an astounding 14 hours of battery life for the iPhone 15 Pro, raising the bar significantly.
While it’s true that the A17 Pro with 3nm architecture will initially be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models, history suggests that this technology will eventually trickle down to lower-tier iPhone models.
In the previous generation, the iPhone 14 featured the A15 chip, while the iPhone 14 Pro boasted the A16. This pattern suggests that the iPhone 15 may receive the A16 chip, leaving room for anticipation that the iPhone 16 could also adopt the A17 chip.
The Real-world Impact
If this speculation holds true, it could mean exceptional battery life improvements across the entire iPhone lineup in the future. The iPhone 15 Pro’s launch will provide further insights into the real-world impact of the 3nm architecture on battery life, but the prospects are undeniably exciting.
As Apple continues to push the boundaries of technology, users can look forward to not only more powerful devices but also longer-lasting batteries, ensuring that their iPhones remain reliable companions throughout the day.

[London, 12th September 2023]: Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture, and the British Council, proudly launched ‘Pakistan’s Museum of Food’, a digital hub featuring the rich and diverse culinary landscape of Pakistan.
‘Pakistan’s Museum of Food’ is the largest and most comprehensive exploration of Pakistani cuisine online, featuring over 9000 Images, over 90 videos and over 100 stories that capture the vibrant culinary tapestry of Pakistan’s five provinces and beyond, seamlessly interwoven with recipes from the diaspora, an essential contribution from their UK-based co-creators, W.M.Legacy. The project aims to preserve and celebrate the culture and heritage of Pakistani food, as well as to document its dynamic evolution and progression.
Project Director, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, said, “Pakistan’s culinary heritage is an intrinsic part of the country’s cultural identity, but with the passing of generations and the challenges brought about by climate change, certain domestic practices and traditional recipes are at high risk of being lost. In response to this looming crisis, we embarked on a mission to not just reminisce about the flavors of yesteryears, but to actively preserve and revitalize the vanishing recipes and customs that define our past. We hope that this project will inspire people to explore, appreciate, and enjoy the vibrant culinary culture, lineage and food practices of Pakistan, as well as to contribute their own stories and recipes to this living narrative.”
Amit Sood, the Director and founder of Google Arts & Culture, said “An online feast for the senses, we’re thrilled to unveil our latest exhibition on Google Arts & Culture dedicated to the vibrant flavors and rich culture of Pakistan. From the mountains of the north to the bazaars of the south, Pakistan is a land of diverse landscapes and traditions, all of which are reflected in its cuisine. We hope users can fully immerse themselves in the many wonders of this amazing country through our largest digital hub about Pakistan, developed in close collaboration with Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and the British Council”
The Director Arts Pakistan at the British Council, Laila Jamil said: “We are delighted to have supported this important project highlighting Pakistan’s diverse culinary practices which have been beautifully collated and shared by our partners. This support was possible through our Gender Ecologies Grant Programme, which explores the intersection of women, climate change and the arts. Food cultures give us insights into people’s customs, agricultural traditions, climatic conditions and their flora and fauna. They also have a direct impact on our health, the health of our planet and our understanding of self. We hope this ‘Museum of Food’ acts as a platform to inspire a wider effort to collect and share these practices and a chance to explore the stories that come with them.”
Together with Google Arts & Culture, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and her team explored the genesis of iconic dishes across all five provinces, capturing the essence of Pakistan’s culinary and cultural diversity. From the coastal allure of Gwadar’s seafood to Multan’s decadent Sohan Halwa, and the innovative incorporation of yak meat in Hunza, the crew traveled through Pakistan’s varried terrain to illuminate how regional topography molds the nation’s distinct eating patterns. Venturing to a multitude of eateries across the country, Sharmeen and her cohort of filmmakers aimed to capture the essence of traditional dining practices while tracing the nuanced impact of modernization on the nation’s evolving taste palate. As the project celebrates Pakistan’s culinary heritage and its dynamic progression, it embraces a collaborative spirit, inviting individuals to join in its pursuit to archive Pakistan’s culinary landscape.
Bushra Ansari recently sat down with Hassan Choudary for the 43rd episode of ‘The Talk Talk Show.’ The veteran Pakistani actor who is known for being vocal about her personal life matters shared her insight on the right to divorce for women.
Bushra Ansari Shares Divorce Rights
During an hour-long interview, Hassan Choudary directed the conversation about Ansari’s infamous divorce. While asking her to educate the audience he asked his guest to speak about the right of women to attain a divorce if need be. Bushra Ansari who separated from her husband after the marriage of thirty-six years was the one who sought a divorce. The authority that was given to her by her father is the rightful need of every woman according to Islam. However, societal practices have steered away from it.
‘I think now this thing has a solid standing in a certain class and has become very common. However, fifty years ago when my eldest sister Neelam was getting married my father was the first one to discuss this thing. He was very intellectual and had massive knowledge about Islam since he studied it very deeply.’ She said.
‘The amount of rights women have in Islam is unexplainable. I can’t even discuss them. A husband has a major responsibility towards his wife. We don’t want to hear and people don’t want to discuss.’
While talking about the right to divorce Bushra Ansari mentioned that there is an absolute need to discuss this matter within the families. The groom’s side must be asked to give this right to the girl. She noted. The right to divorce is granted from the boy’s side. While no one wants to discuss the matter, it still is arbitrary and so if need be, it can be exercised by the party.

WhatsApp has once again captured the tech world’s attention with its recent Android beta update, version 2.23.19.8. While routine updates are common in the world of apps, this one introduces a new feature called “Third-party chats.” A closer look at this seemingly ordinary addition, however, reveals that WhatsApp may be on the cusp of enabling encrypted messaging across diverse platforms.
The Clues Within the Beta Update
WABetaInfo, a reputable source for WhatsApp-related news and updates, is the bearer of this exciting revelation. The mere presence of a “Third-party chats” section within the update’s code hints at Meta’s, WhatsApp’s parent company, exploration of cross-platform encrypted messaging—a development that could reshape the way we communicate digitally.

Regulatory Winds of Change
The timing of this beta release is particularly noteworthy. It comes at a pivotal moment for Meta, as the European Commission recently acknowledged the company as a “gatekeeper” under the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA). This designation comes with specific obligations, one of which is to facilitate interoperability with third-party messaging apps. Meta is expected to achieve this by March 2024.
The Digital Markets Act (DMA) has a clear mandate: prevent gatekeepers like Meta from imposing unfair conditions and ensure the openness of vital digital services. As a consequence, Meta will need to empower its users to uninstall pre-installed apps and explore alternative app stores—a significant departure from the norm.

Strategic Response
In response to the DMA’s requirements, both Meta and tech behemoth Microsoft are gearing up to launch their mobile app stores. This strategic move underscores their commitment to comply with the European Commission’s regulations while maintaining their competitive edge in the dynamic world of digital services.
With its colossal user base, WhatsApp is poised to play a pivotal role in Meta’s ambitions for cross-platform messaging. While the specifics of this feature remain shrouded in mystery, it’s clear that WhatsApp users can anticipate a future of more seamless and secure communication experiences that transcend the confines of different platforms. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, WhatsApp’s dedication to innovation promises exciting developments for its global user community. Since its introduction in the 2016 MacBook Pro, USB-C has become ubiquitous across the technology landscape, promising unparalleled versatility in both charging and data transfer. Over the years, USB-C has made its way into almost every device, from laptops to smartphones, becoming a standard feature in our lives. However, the convenience of USB-C also brings its own set of complications, and millions of customers will now get to experience these firsthand with the expected release of the iPhone 15.
The Confounding Nature of USB-C
USB-C’s charm lies in its ability to serve multiple functions, but this versatility can lead to confusion. The problem arises when users are unsure about the capabilities of the USB-C port on their devices or the cables they use. It’s not always clear whether a device or cable supports high-speed data transfer, high electrical power for fast charging, both, or neither.
The iPhone 15 is rumored to ship with a USB-C port and charging cable that can charge effectively but will transfer data at a modest 480 megabytes per second. This is significantly slower than what USB-C is capable of, reflecting the challenges of the USB ecosystem. USB-C offers faster and more versatile connections compared to Apple’s Lightning port, but this transition may come with some hiccups for Apple customers.

Deciphering USB Standards
The USB ecosystem itself is part of the problem, as it encompasses three separate standards: Universal Serial Bus (USB), USB-C, and USB Power Delivery (USB PD). USB originally debuted in 1996, offering a top speed of 12Mbps. USB 2.0 followed in 2000, providing faster data transfer at 480Mbps. USB 3.0 in 2008 brought speeds of 5 gigabits per second, ideal for external hard drives. USB 4 is the latest iteration, reaching up to 40Gbps, with USB 4 version 2 promising 80Gbps in the future.
USB-C, on the other hand, refers to the oval-shaped connector technology and has seen improvements over time, gradually equating USB-C with high-speed data transfer. Lastly, USB PD manages how USB is used for charging, supporting rates up to 240W.
Quality Control and Cost Factors
The existence of these three standards makes it challenging for users to understand the capabilities of their devices and cables. Moreover, many manufacturers, in a bid to cut costs and expedite product releases, forgo certification from the USB Implementers Forum. Unlike Intel’s Thunderbolt, which mandates passing tests, USB-C products can vary significantly in quality.

Cost is another factor contributing to USB-C’s issues. High-speed data support and high-power charging are more expensive to implement in cables, and cheaper “charging cables” often lack the extra capabilities. Even cables provided by Apple with MacBooks may prioritize charging over data transfer speed.
USB-C in the Wireless Age
Despite these challenges, most iPhone 15 owners won’t be significantly affected by the use of a USB 2.0 cable. As data transfer methods have evolved, users increasingly rely on mobile networks, Wi-Fi, and wireless transfer methods like AirDrop, reducing the need for high-speed data cables.
USB-C’s versatility in charging and data transfer has transformed the technology landscape. However, its complex ecosystem and varying standards have led to complications that users must navigate. While the iPhone 15 may introduce some users to the limitations of USB-C, the majority will find that the slower cable speed is a minor inconvenience in an era when wireless data transfer methods have become the norm. USB-C remains a powerful tool, but understanding its capabilities and investing in quality cables is essential for a seamless experience in the ever-connected world of technology.
