Nadra Route

You can either get this certificate from NADRA physically or online. Both are equally acceptable and legitimate so don’t rush to your nearest NADRA centre for no reason. 

In case you do want to go there, choose the nearest NADRA centre. This is in case you forget something behind, always easy to make a trip back home. However, with the help of this article, you won’t forget anything behind.

At your nearest NADRA centre, go to the information desk. Tell them you want the vaccination certificate and they will guide you to the relevant desk. Get your token and wait till you get your turn. Most people who have gone there have said it took them hardly 10 minutes! At the desk they take relevant information and provide you the certificate. Each certificate you get, costs Rs.100.

The Online Way

It’s 2021. Of course there’s an online way to get the vaccination certificate. All you have to do is go to nims.nadra.gov.pk . This is what the page looks like and once you fill in the relevant information, you will be able to get your certificate.

Mostly everywhere you will see that a minority has to suffer at the hands of intolerant extremists. 1. First transgender school in Multan

The government is starting the very first school for the community in Multan. They plan to start one such school in every district of Punjab.

2. First transgender school in Lahore

The Gender Guardian is the first transgender school in Lahore that was started by an NGO. The idea is to teach the community some skills so that they will be able to pay their bills and have a lifestyle fit for any other Pakistani. The skills include

  • Graphic designing
  • Fashion designing
  • Hairstyling
  • Beautician

3. First transgender anchor

Marvia Malik became the first news transgender anchor on Pakistani television. The debut happened in 2018.

4. First Transgender Lawyer

Nisha Rao is the first transgender lawyer. She has already dealt with more than 50 cases. Knowing the discrimination her community feels, she makes sure that the cases she chooses are not based on discrimination. Hence, she has fought cases for transgendered and cis-gendered people alike.

Government College University, Lahore announced last year that trans people will be able to enroll in undergraduate courses. Seats in various departments have been allocated.

9. Law against abusing transgender community

Initially, there was not even a law to protect the transgender community. But now, even if the law enforcers are biased against them, at least a law exists to protect them. And if you are caught abusing transgenders, you can even go to jail.

10. Transgender woman’s food delivery startup

Back in 2019, a trans woman by the name of Moon started her own food delivery startup. She focuses her target group on the office goers of Lahore.

11. Allama Iqbal University launch free program

Since 2017, Allama Iqbal Open University has been offering free education programs to trans people.

12. Transgender led Tailor shop

On 21st March this year, a Trans led tailor shop was inaugurated by the NGO headed by Nisha Rao, the transgender lawyer. The shop is located in Jinnah Complex Apartment and Shopping Mall on MA Jinnah Road.

Twitter Wants Malala To Be Removed As ‘National Hero’ From This Textbook

Malala had the honour of being featured as a national hero in our local textbooks. However, this win is also no being granted to her by Pakistanis. Netizens on Twitter want her removed from this category.

Among Honorary People

In a local textbook for children, there was a section on important people. In that section are some of the most iconic and legendary personalities of Pakistan. The lost includes Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Fatima Ali Jinnah, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. There is also Liaquat Ali Khan included in the section. Amongst these amazing personalities is none other than Malala Yousafzai. 

As a Nobel Laureate and UN-spokesperson, many people believe Malala does deserve to be on there. She is not included in this section for no reason. All her fellow personalities in this section achieved greatness later in life. However, Malala was able to represent Pakistan at half their age.

Twitter Does Not Agree

However, Twitter is not in agreement. We’re assuming people whose children have these textbooks got their hands on them and reported this. They took to Twitter and mobilised to have this textbook edited. They want Malala removed from this section. People believe she is not worthy of enjoying the same honour and respect as her fellow members in the section.

The Other Side

However, many people are also not in agreement with this call to edit her out. Textbooks in Pakistan are indoctrinating. They feed one message to children and expect them to rote-learn it. Going against the grain is not welcome. The issue with this is that this does not teach critical thinking to students.

Let Malala remain there, they will form an opinion on her work themself! Additionally, someone also pointed out that Imran Khan, the PM of Pakistan, also has a morally questionable past. Why don’t people ostracise him the same way?

Malala’s Comments on Marriage

What has recently inspired even more people to hate Malala were her comments on marriage. In an interview, she implied that marriage is not necessary for two people to live together if they love each other. This immediately made people think of live-in relationships and turned them against her.

If a woman steps out of the house without knowing how to drive, she ought to take help from someone. But what if that help is not available at the moment? The best option in that situation would be to opt for a ride-hailing service. But it is easier said than done.

Ride-hailing means having to rely on a total stranger for your commute. Today, when women are not safe in any setting whatsoever, it becomes daunting for women to book a cab without worrying about if the next ride she gets would be safe or convenient for her.

In a survey conducted in 2019, 30% of women who have used ride-hailing services say they have felt unsafe during the ride. 15% of women said they had faced harassment. When asked about what might make them more frequent use of the services, nearly 59% of women surveyed said that increased security, and 33% said the ability to select the gender of the driver.

The HSA21 awards may have been heavily criticised but they taught us one thing. The Pakistani population must stop thinking that they can impose their values on others. People, at the end of the day, and especially celebrities will do as they please. Simply commenting on harsh things will not solve anything.

One can consider this to be a major change and something that can make this vehicle affordable for people.

Getting almost premium features at such a reasonable price seems like a good bargain. After all, many people love to drive compacts and this is definitely a contender for the market.

United Bravo/Alpha Prices:

These are two of the most hyped vehicles in Pakistan. While they are cars of the same brand, there are differences of preference between people. The United Bravo was originally sold at Rs.1,099,000. Now, it is being sold for Rs.1,030,000. Can we believe this Rs.69,000 difference?

Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Acknowledges Coke Studio’s Role In Promoting Pakistani Culture

Islamabad, July 8, 2021 – Coca-Cola Pakistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commemorated Pakistan’s leading music brand, Coke Studio, and launched a book called, Beyond the Wave — transcending boundaries.

This event was held in the Foreign office’s open-air lawns as part of the Foreign Minister’s Public Diplomacy Initiative to showcase Pakistan’s culture and arts. Several foreign dignitaries, government officials, business leaders, celebrities, and socialites attended.

This collaboration seeks to promote cross-cultural understanding, an exchange of ideas, and a respect for traditions as a tool to strengthen international relationships.

The book, Beyond the Wave, traces the journey of Coke Studio from its genesis with the first season in 2008 to 2021’s Season 14. The book is a powerful narrative of how Coke defined music as a passionate ode to the #SoundOfPakistan.

On YouTube alone, the Coke Studio channel has over 10 million subscribers and about 2.8 billion total views, making it the most loved Pakistani music identity.

The Honorable Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, “History tells us that the subtle forces of cultural diplomacy have an impact and can create understanding among peoples from different backgrounds. I am therefore delighted to collaborate with Coke Studio, to bring Pakistan’s true image to the world: one of optimism, youth, unity and peace.” He also added that the book will be sent to each of the Pakistani embassies across the globe.

Fahad Ashraf, VP and General Manager at The Coca-Cola Export Corporation for Pakistan & Afghanistan region said, “We are honored to receive this recognition from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and be able to collaborate on Coke Studio’s musical journey. I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the arts and culture of our nation and to Coke Studio’s bridge-building legacy in the past 14 years.”

At the launch, the book was formally presented to the Foreign Minister, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi by Coca-Cola. The event also included a panel hosted by Ahmed Wahab Shah, the Director Marketing at Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan. He spoke with Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, more popularly known as Xulfi, who will be taking over as the producer of Coke Studio Season 14 and to journalist Fifi Haroon who talked about the inclusion and diversity that Coke Studio always represents.

The event ended with a signature Coke Studio performance by maestro Qawals, Farid Ayaz and Abu Muhammad.

One may send them a Resume but it can be difficult to go through many of them at a time. In this day and age of technology, TikTok has just introduced something new. Due to difficulty in reaching companies, TikTok has decided to make it slightly easier. The platform is known for its trending videos and short quality content. It is one of the best places to set trends or to learn what the current ones are. This can be in any niche or domain. However, the new feature is TikTok letting users upload video resumes! For now, this feature is available to all jobs based in the US. Instead of going to the location or emailing, one can simply show a video resume. If you are a fan of big vehicles, you will love this one. As mentioned, it features a 2.0-litre turbo engine. The last part tells you that the pick-up speed of the car is quite impressive.
