Growing up watching Marvel and DC movies, most of us have come to believe that heroes’ wardrobes always have to include a cape. But as we get older, we realize that this isn’t true. A recent incident makes this lesson a bit stronger. This event is linked to what happened in Serena Hotel located in the northern areas.

Employed in the housekeeping staff at Serena Hotel, Joher Ali became the hero in recent news.
But what exactly happened?
As you may be aware of this process but when a guest checks out, the housekeeping staff is sent to clean the room to prepare for the next guest. Mr. Joher Ali was the one sent to a particular room as well. There, he found a huge amount of money that was equivalent to PKR 11 lac. Instead of pocketing some of it, he directly went to the management. They called up the guest who returned to collect the money that they believed was lost.

Ever since this news has come to light, Twitter has been celebrating Joher for ensuring that someone was not taking home a bad experience from their northern areas trip.

Gilgit Baltistan does not get its due share of acknowledgement. This recent incident is one where you get reminded that while every day something horrible is happening in the country, something nice is also happening; we just need to open our eyes and pay attention to the entire country including Gilgit Baltistan.
