But we did notice his contradicting statement where he confessed that Ayeza was the only lady he did not flirt with. Moreover, he went on to say that he never asked her out on a date. In fact, he directly proposed her for marriage and met her mother before he even met Ayeza.

To add a cherry on top, he confessed that he first started speaking to Ayeza on Orkut and that she was a big fan of Danish Taimoor which also led to an argument. Later on, as they spoke, he found Ayeza to be really and thought of marrying her.

Here’s what he said in the interview:

“She complimented our serial while revealing how big of a fan she was of mine, so I thought, this is a really nice woman and she should be in my house after marriage. Then I asked her if she wanted to marry me, but she refused to believe it.”

After revealing some juicy details about how it all started, he chose to reveal Ayeza Khan’s real name which is Kanza and not Ayeza. That surely would turn out as a surprise for many of you. However, there are many Pakistani celebrities whose real names are different.

Schengen Visa Rules Set to Change as of February 2020

Visa

Backpackers on a budget across Pakistan, we have bad news for you. Schengen Visa application just increased its Visa fee for applicants across the globe and tweaked a few rules here and there, effective immediately from February 2020.

Here is all that you need to know before you even consider another vacation in the Schengen areas.

For those of you, who do not know Schengen Visa grants its holders the possibility to travel across 26 European countries.

From €60 to €80, an increase of €20 per applicant, while those already paid €35 will have to pay €40. There are no more grants for any other categories or children that were earlier implemented so they could benefit from it.

What’s new is that there will be a generated code with all visa applications. This will help applicants enormously.

Applicants will be able to apply for a visa as early as three to six months, before the trip.

We all know how health insurance is mandatory while applying for a Schengen Visa but from February onwards, a Schengen health insurance is mandatory.

If you come from an underdeveloped country, a good travel history is always a plus point when applying for Visa. The new rules are also stretched to stop illegal immigration in the region.

The new code allows all Schengen Member states to be present in every third world country so the applicant does not have to travel to another country/city to apply for the Visa. Visa application can also be applied by outsourcing Schengen visa admission to an external service provider.

If in case, third world countries do not co-operate, longer visa processing and higher fees for application will be implemented.

Sad day for travelers in the under-developed world!

5 Things that Stood Out This Time at Oscars 2020

Natalie Portman

On Monday, The star-studded 92nd Acadamy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre Los Angles, California. Much to our surprise, there were many things that stood out this time around.

  1. Many looks at the Oscars stirred controversy while only one caught our attention. Natalie Portman made both a feminist and a fashion statement.

“On the Oscars red carpet, Natalie Portman wears a cape embroidered with the names of the female directors whose movies were overlooked this year — including “Little Women” director Greta Gerwig,” tweeted The Washington Post.

2. The prestigious award function also came under fire as it was heavily criticized for not including black directors or actors.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Oscar acceptance speech for Joker discussed the issue,

“[We have to] continue to use our voice for the voiceless. I’ve been thinking a lot about some of the distressing issues that we are facing collectively. I think at times we feel or were made to feel, that we champion different causes, but for me, I see the commonality. I think, whether we’re talking about gender inequality or racism or queer rights or indigenous rights or animal rights, we’re talking about the fight against injustice. We’re talking about the fight against the belief that one nation, one people, one race, one gender or one species has the right to dominate, control and use and exploit another with impunity.”

3. For the first time ever, Korean Film, “Parasite” won big!

We all know how fast the media is progressing in South Korea. This time around, Parasite, a non- English language film won the best picture at the Oscars. The film received four awards.

4. For the second time in a row, Oscars didn’t have a host.

The 92nd Acadamy Awards that took place on Monday was hostless. However, Steve Martin and Chris Rock did partner up and entertained the crowd at the beginning of the award show but clarifies that it was temporary and they’re not hosting the event tonight.

5. Brad Pitt Finally won an Oscar, despite being nominated several times.

While being nominated multiple times, Brad Pitt finally won the Oscar for best-supporting actor for Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.” He played the role of stuntman Cliff Booth in the film.

Pitt said, “They told me I only had 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week.”

“I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it and in the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Pitt thanked the director of the film for casting him in the film. He further added, “Quentin, you are original, you are one of a kind … I love the ethos you gave Cliff Booth. Look for the best in people, expect the worst, but look for the best.”

Mahira Khan PISA 2020

Megastars Mahira Khan and Meera engaged in a fun banter on Friday at PISA awards 2020 held in Dubai.

Mahira Khan showed some disappointment after learning about harsh criticism from Meera about her.

The two actors were present at the Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA) where actor Sheheryar Munawar was in attendance as well.

A video of them conversing in a friendly environment, days after Meera strongly criticized the Raees actor, graced the screens of several cell phones and laptops as the video went viral.

Have a look:

In the clip, Khan is sharing her disapproval with Meera, she said:” This is the first time I am actually upset with you Meera Jee after becoming friends because you said something about me again.”

“I swear I never said anything about you Mahira,” Meera replied.

Meera had said in an interview earlier that the Verna starlet is not a ‘talented’ actor.

“Mahira is not a talented actor. I am more brilliant than her,” Meera explained in an interview with Independent Urdu.

The Baaji actress indicated that a mafia exists in the showbiz enterprise and whoever stands against it doesn’t earn any success.

She went on saying, “I think Mahira is given extraordinary importance in the showbiz industry. I am a victim of this injustice, whether it is in films or on television.”

Meera also stated, ”there is no age difference between me and Mahira. I became part of the showbiz industry since my childhood while Mahira entered at the age of 27.”

The veteran actor also announced that Mahira earned popularity due to starring with Shah Rukh Khan in a Bollywood movie, Raees.
