2020-21: List Of World’s Most Valuable Fast Food Brands Released

According to the list of valuable brands released by Brand Finance, it is clear that this happened considering almost half of the brands in the list witnessed a decline in brand value. Moreover, the most valuable fast food brands list that has 25 restaurants on it saw a total decrease of $8.2 billion (from US$162.1 billion in 2020 to US$153.9 billion in 2021).

“The restaurant sector has shown remarkable adaptability in the face of unforeseen and challenging circumstances brought about by COVID-19. The efforts to refocus on at-home dining and the investment in digital presence have inured many of the biggest brands from far more dire consequences. The pace of vaccine distribution – particularly across the US and the UK – means there are signs of hope yet for the restaurant sector, with many customers eager to return to socialising and dining together.”

1. Starbucks

Valued at USD 38.44 billion in 2021, Starbucks remains the most valuable brand in the category fast food the fifth time without break. Its amazing to see this even though the value has dropped 6%; last year the brand value was USD 41.04 billion.

In 2020, McDonald’s was priced at 37.45 billion dollars. The second most valuable fast food brand now stands at $33.84 Billion.

If the price brackets are not too far off, wouldn’t we want to go for the highest possible variant?

The vivo X60 Pro features a 50mp wide camera with additional arrays for telephoto and ultrawide. The latter two are set at 32mp and 48mp. As far as we have seen at cameras in flagship phones, Samsung S21 ultra seems to be rising to the top. With its 108mp wide camera, no phone seems to come close to it. Only iPhone 12 Pro max is able to give it a run for its money.

Because of not accommodating them, they are forced to take a back seat and keep away from the public sphere. P&G aims to tackle just that; they plan to bring them into the public eye, and with that, they have become the forerunner of initiating a culture that is more diverse and inclusive.

P&G and People With Disabilities

As part of this initiative, Proctor & Gamble has taken onboard employees who are disabled. Through Ariel and Safeguard, P&G has employed brand ambassadors Zoya and Fariha, who show that what others might assume a weakness for them, they can overcome it. They need someone to believe in them. And P&G gives them the trust they need to excel because ‘struggle’ for them is not new; it is something that they have been doing since the very beginning, but the belief that someone can place in you can be the most powerful motivator for anyone.

Fariha & Safeguard

Take Fariha, for instance. The narrative of her story tells us that she has faced quite a lot of trouble due to her hand, but she didn’t shy away from the struggle. And thankfully, it got noticed by Safeguard, so now, what people considered her weakness, she employs it as her strength in doing her job.

Zoya & Ariel

When one cannot have a verbal conversation, they are forced to believe that they need to be silent. But with the support of Ariel, Zoya tells you that just because she cannot speak does not mean she cannot have a voice. With that, she becomes the salesgirl for the brand explaining through sign language as well as texts on a digital screen the qualities of the product she aims to sell.

One needs to acknowledge the company’s efforts, which did not come up with excuses for not hiring people with disabilities, saying that they may not be able to adjust. Instead, they ensured an environment where the special hires would feel welcome in any way possible. And so, before putting them out there, P&G trained all of them, including Zoya and Fariha, with the solutions that each of them might need, be it sign language or technological solutions. Not only that, to further accommodate them, the company provides transport service to them.

It is high time companies started following the example set by P&G because if we are not going to start now, then when?

Vasay Chaudhry’s Ghabrana Nahi Hai has become the source of many controversy starters.  Of course, that is not always the case. The most perfect and feel-good show was when Kubra Khan was invited, unlike Yasir Hussain, where controversies were expected. Just like that, when we saw Khalil Ur Rehman in the promo last week, we knew that the upcoming episode would be a plethora of controversies.

As expected, Vasay tried to scoop a lot of masala out of the celebrity by making him talk about feminism and his beliefs on it. And Khalil Sahab readily did. He said he read up on the movement started ‘by women’ and he appreciates it but he (a man) does not agree with the methods and would like the women to change their way (very dominating there Khalil Sahab, no?).

He also mentioned how his movie was systematically destroyed. And he said he will take it to the media sometime later and talk about everything including why Ayesha Omar was not present at the film’s promotion.

Sohai Ali Abro on Khalil Sahab

As the show progressed, Sohai Ali Abro came onto the screen. Since it was her segment, it was her time to shine. She tried to put a light touch on his infamous hatred towards women. In her short skit, she quoted a conversation where she said that Khalil sahab loves women. And then she asked him to confirm. But Khalil Ur Rehman had to add the part where he can discriminate between who he considers good or bad women. So he said that he loves ‘good women’.

Instead of catering to such a comment, she gave him a shut-up call saying that she won’t respond to that because she doesn’t agree with that.
