The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha has garnered 38.23 crore rupees within three days of screening. Recording a massive opening and houseful theaters, Tamasha collected Rs.10.94 crore on its opening day and it kept surging with Rs.13.17 crore on Day two and Rs.14.12 crore on Day three. The movie is produced with a total cost of 60 crores and is expected to do more business in coming days.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted its box office report.

The movie has been screened in 2100 cinemas across India and 571 screens abroad. It collected a staggering amount of $3.45 million (Rs.23 crore) from international screening. According to Mr. Adarsh, during the two days Tamasha earned $ 1.13 million from USA-Canada, $ 731k from UAE-GCC, $ 285k from the UK and $ 295k from Pakistan.

 

Making waves because of the Ranbir-Deepika chemistry, Tamasha narrates a story of a boy (Ved) and girl (Tara) who met in Corsica during a holiday trip and fell in love.

The Indian romantic drama film is written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is presented by UTV Motion pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
