Pakistan Meteorological Department has revealed on Thursday that Pakistan will now begin to get warmer by next week.

The rise in temperatures will now cross 30 degrees celsius from Monday onwards, looks like Pakistan is all set to welcome the summer heat earlier than previous years!

PMD Director General Dr Ghulam Rasool mentioned in conversation to the Express Tribune that, “Soon spring will come to an end and a real summer in Pakistan will start in April, a few short spells of showers are also expected in the coming days, whereas snowfall will be witnessed on the high-rise mountains in the northern areas.”

Due to increasing global warming, Pakistan is now facing decreasing winter and spring seasons and an extended summer.

Dr. Rasool further added, “Pakistan had received a good amount of heavy snowfall in the winter of 2017 which in future will help increase the inflow of water into our water reservoirs once it starts melting,” he said.
