Applications are receiving new updates introducing new features and lots more.

Recently, Instagram has introduced GIFs, Snapchat brought snap maps, and after WhatsApp’s ‘Delete for everyone’, the application is back with another feature.

WhatsApp’s new feature is giving more power to group admins! According to a source, the Facebook-owned messaging service is reportedly pitching a ‘Restricted Groups’ setting, allowing group admins to restrict the members of its group when they see fit.

WABetInfo claims that admins can trigger these settings and these can only be activated by the admin, with the user, once restricted, only able to read the group admin’s messages.

Not only this – the admin will then have to approve all of the restricted member’s future messages before they appear publicly on the group.

Get ready to take control of your group chats!
