The Government has announced a public holiday on account of Kashmir Day which is observed on 5th February.
The holiday will be observed in all provincial governments including Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
It has also been requested for all to observe a minute of silence in the honor of Kashmir Day and the martyrs at 10 am as per the press release issued by Ministry of Interior.
Kashmir Day is observed in Pakistan to show support to Kashmiris who are fighting for freedom and those who have lost their lives in the cause.
