Sindh Government has officially announced an official public holiday on account of Labor Day across the province.
Labor Day, also referred to as May Day is celebrated on May 1st every year is marked by rallies, marches, processions, labor/worker union sessions and organised street demonstrations to appreciate the efforts of those who work day and night to earn bread.
According to the circular, all Government offices, Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations, and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh, except essential services will remain closed to observe the holiday.
