Faysal Quraishi’s Daughter is Getting Bullied for the Most Absurd Reason!

Celebrities are always under scrutiny for everything they do and their followers are always curious to know more about their lives.

However, when that fandom starts intruding on the personal relationships of these stars, that’s where things can get sticky.

Sana Javed & Feroze Khan’s Dance On ‘Romeo Weds Heer’ Set Leaked!

Faysal Qureshi’s daughter, Hanish Qurashi recently became the victim of her father’s stardom when she decided to conduct a Q&A session for her followers on Instagram.

Hanish is Faysal’s daughter from his first marriage, although the father-daughter duo prefer keeping their personal lives private and away from media glare.

Time flies🤷🏼‍♀️ #happyfathersday papa 💕@faysalquraishi

However, nosey fans are always eager for gossip about their favorite stars and given any opportunity, would ask them anything and everything.

And that’s exactly what happened when Hanish used Instagram’s latest ‘question sticker’ feature which lets your followers ask questions.

But what she probably wasn’t ready for was being bombarded with questions about her relationship with her father and her step-siblings!

This is the reason I didn’t use social media for such a long time. People enjoying bullying you when you try to keep your life private. Private in a way that you’re not reachable. My father works with the girls of my age, that is his profession not something to make fun about or bully him, me and everyone around him. Yes we don’t put pictures together, why does anyone has any kind of concern with that? That is OUR personal life. We don’t enjoy bullies. You guys enjoy making comparisons between me and my half siblings and asking questions about my step mother. This is so chatkharaydar and masalaydar for everyone. But i will name and shame everyone who tries to make any damage to us publicly or personally. #wonttakebullies #Allahkomano #nameshame #stop #bullying

A post shared by Hanish Qureshi (@hanishqureshii) on

Irked and bullied by all these extremely personal questions, Hanish retaliated by posting a screenshot of all these questions and exposing these people on her Instagram!

Penning down a heartfelt note about her feelings regarding the whole situation, she wrote:

She was seen calling out not just these insensitive questions but also condeming the ugly reality of social media where nothing remains private, no matter how hard you try to keep it that way!

But all said and done, we must applaud the courageous girl for standing her ground and not buckle under all the pressure.

More power to you Hanish!

Askari Amusement Park: Here’s What Really Happened!

A fatal ride accident took the life of a teenager while injuring almost 20 others. This horrific incident took place at Karachi’s newly inaugurated Askari Amusement Park.

“She was our motive to smile” – Abdul Samad, Kashaf’s father

After the ride proved to be fatal for 16-year old Kashaf Samad, the authority and media were informed and an inquiry was conducted. According to reports, the reason behind the collapse was due to broken bolts. The Chinese engineers behind the rides were summoned for further investigation.

Askari Park’s Fatal Ride Accident Leaves Social Media in Shock

Zubair Tufail, well-known industrialist and a shareholder in the park added that the ride was purchased from China and the engineers also agree that the chances of 20 bolts being compromised all at the same time are bleak.

On the other hand,  Karachi Municipal Commissioner (KMC) has denied having any ownership towards the park as they claim it was purchased from them back in 2004, the year when Old Subzimandi was shifted to Super Highway.

According to Commissioner Karachi Saleh Farooqui two aspects are currently being considered. He said;

“If a criminal element was present, it would be presented during the investigation. The investigation would be conducted in a clear-cut manner,”

As of now, the Askari Amusement Park management has been booked under ‘unintentional murder’ under Sections 319 (unintentional murder) and 337 (H-1) (causing hurt by a rash or negligent act) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The police also stated that the family took an entire day to lodge the FIR and the park’s management was in touch with them to work things out. The father was at first not willing to file the charges against the individuals behind it.

Farooqui also added that the park’s administration was found to use “substandard material” which is a clear sign of negligence. A senior police official told Dawn News that “two sides of the swing are attached broke at the place where the riders’ side is connected through rivets.”

Farooqui had announced last night that the park would remain closed until a full technical check-up would be completed.

Rolls-Royce Unveils Hybrid Flying Taxi

British engine maker Rolls-Royce revealed plans this week to develop a hybrid electric vehicle, dubbed the “flying taxi”, which takes off and lands vertically and could be airborne within five years.

The London-listed aerospace giant, which is based in Derby in central England, showed off the plans at the Farnborough Airshow for the first time, as other players also rush into the market segment.

Rolls said it hoped to manufacture a prototype version of its electric vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL) vehicle within the next 18 months, and could potentially take to the skies in the early 2020s.

The Rolls-Royce EVTOL plane will seat four or five people, with a flying range of 500 miles (805 kilometres) and a top speed of 200 miles per hour.

“In this market, you will see something like this flying within three to five years, and we will demonstrate the system in two years,” said Rob Watson, head of Rolls-Royce’s electrical team.

“At the end of next year we will be flight ready,” he told AFP at the group’s Farnborough chalet.

The hybrid vehicle, which has so far cost single-digit millions of pounds to develop, will use a traditional gas turbine engine with an electrical system wrapped around it.

Rolls-Royce is also researching an all-electric product but that is not as advanced as the EVTOL offering.

“There is an emerging market for all-electric planes but we believe that you need a level of requirement that an all-electric system cannot really provide today,” Watson told AFP.

– Hybrid propulsion

“So, all-electric is the way to hop around within a city, but if you want to travel 200 or 300 miles, if you want to run London to Paris, then you are going to want to run something that will give you that range.

“So we think you will see hybrid propulsion systems starting to make this market.”

Rolls is not alone in the hybrid “flying taxi” marketplace.

Other companies researching the sector include US taxi-hailing company Uber, the Google-backed Kitty Hawk project, Lilium Aviation in Germany, Safran in France, and Honeywell in the United States.

The aerospace sector’s push into electric propulsion has drawn comparisons with the automotive industry, where electric cars are gaining ground in terms of popularity and performance.

“Think of it like the car industry. Historically everybody had an internal combustion engine. over time you add more electric capability to it and then you start to see electric cars,” added Watson.

“In the same way, we are introducing a hybrid propulsion system into this market because we think it gives you that range and capability.”

– Potential disruptor –

David Stewart, aviation and aerospace adviser and partner at Oliver Wyman, told AFP that the aerospace sector was facing pressure to become more environmentally friendly.

“I think that electrical propulsion is a potential disruptor to the way things are powered,” said Stewart, who will speak at Farnborough on Tuesday.

“We are quite a long way for electrical power to be a replacement for kerosene, but never say never.”

He cautioned that Rolls-Royce’s flying taxi concept was, in reality, a development platform to test the new technology.

The real market opportunity will likely be a scaled up version of 10-15 seats that can serve a wider variety of applications, according to Stewart.

Watson added: “Over time you’ve got more electrical capability for bigger and bigger aircraft — and that’s really what we are thinking about today.

“We are learning today about the technology that we will need tomorrow.”

Fakhar Zaman-Inspired Pakistan Dominate Zimbabwe

An elated Fakhar Zaman cracked a career-best 117 as Pakistan dominated with both bat and ball to win the second of five one-day internationals against Zimbabwe by nine wickets on Monday.

Zaman’s hundred was his second in ODI’s after his barnstorming 114 in last year’s Champions Trophy final against India.

The win was also set up by Pakistan’s seam attack, who bowled Zimbabwe out for 194.

Usman Khan took four wickets and Hasan Ali chipped in with three for 32 to bowl the hosts out, Pakistan’s top order batsmen then capping a commanding performance.

Zaman said: “I think I am in the best form of my life.”

“I’ve been trying for many games to get another hundred and my coaches were telling me there have been too many games since you last scored a hundred. So I was trying, and today I was lucky.”

Zimbabwe opted to bat first on another cold morning and were put under immediate pressure by the new ball, and in particular Khan.

He had both openers caught behind in his first spell, but Zimbabwe briefly rallied during a 62-run partnership between Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza and Tarisai Musakanda.

That was Zimbabwe’s best stand of the innings, however, and when Khan took two wickets with consecutive deliveries in the 44th over the hosts were 166 for 7 and sinking fast.

Moor cobbled together stands with the lower order to keep his side ticking along, and brought up a third ODI fifty in the 48th over.

But when he fell attempting to up the run rate soon after, Pakistan made short work of Zimbabwe’s tail to bowl them out four balls short of a completed fifty overs.

“Only playing six batters makes it a bit tough, especially if you lose early wickets because then the guys who come in have to consolidate for a bit,” Moor said.

“It was nice to get a few runs personally, but I feel like I left a lot of runs out there that I could have got.

“I didn’t play my natural game, but that boils down to the fact that I knew there weren’t too many batters coming in after me, so I had to rein it in a little bit.”

“This is one of the best attacks I’ve faced in international cricket,” Moor said of Pakistan’s bowlers.

“They’re always looking to get a wicket, and they keep coming hard at you whether you’re two down or eight down.”

Zimbabwe could not match Pakistan’s precision and menace with the ball and openers Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq took 54 from the Powerplay without ever giving more than a half chance to the fielders.

They took their opening stand to 119 before ul Haq was run out, against the run of play, for 44.

Zaman raced past a run-a-ball fifty untroubled by the Zimbabwean attack and reached three figures in the 32nd over. With Babar Azam for the company, he quickly knocked off the remaining runs required for victory, sending Pakistan 2-0 up in the series in the process.

The in-form Zaman was named Player of the Series after the T20 tri-series in Harare, and he has now scored a hundred to go with four fifties on this tour.

Nawaz Sharif Releases Audio Message from Adiala Jail

Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) Quaid and Ex-Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, was arrested on the charges of corruption. Sharif was arrested on Friday, 13th July as he returned to Pakistan with daughter Maryam Nawaz who was also found guilty.

While in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail, both father and daughter shared an audio message clip for all of their supporters who have protested against the court’s ruling of the verdict in the corruption case.

In the audio clip, while addressing his PLM-N leaders and workers all across Pakistan, he started by saying;

“My daughter, who’s a daughter of the nation, has also been lodged in jail, neither any dictator could break off that relationship in the past nor those pulling the strings would be able to do so today.”

He also requested everyone to pray for his wife who is currently on the ventilator in a hospital in London. He further added that many have turned Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan into a laughing stock.

Askari Park’s Fatal Ride Accident Leaves Social Media in Shock

“That’s why I have raised the slogan of ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’ (Give Respect to Vote. Now it’s your turn to carry this flag (movement) forward. Spread my message in every nook and cranny, and inflict a humiliating defeat on those who insult your vote.

Come out of your houses on July 25 for a victory in the election. Give them such a crushing defeat that they are not able to raise their head ever in future. God willing, a great success is awaiting you. May Allah Almighty help you in your mission!”

 Whereas in a separate audio message, Maryam Nawaz also reached out to their supporters. She said;

“Raise the worth of the country, raise the worth of your vote. Had I not been in a jail, I would have been fighting with you all, and now that I am imprisoned, I am still with you every moment. Your daughter appeals to you to keep the preparation of the elections underway,”

The father-daughter duo was in London visiting Kulsoom Nawaz when the verdict was announced. Despite their appeal, the court did not postpone their decision.

“You know I have left my mother in a state of sickness back in London. When I reached London with my father, she was unconscious, and the day we left London for Pakistan, she opened up her eyes for a few seconds, saw us but we could not talk. You understand the mother-daughter relationship,”

“Controlling my emotions, I have come here and surrendered to the law of the land. I appeal to you all to pray for my mother’s health so that I can see her fit and hug her,” she added.

Maryam has stated that she is not serving jail time because she was found guilty in a crime (which she did not do) but she had surrendered because she is Nawaz Sharif’s daughter and sacrifices for the country is needed.

“I am not here because I have committed a crime but because I am Nawaz Sharif’s daughter. I am a daughter of a brave father. A brave daughter of brave nation. They wanted me to be Nawaz Sharif’s weakness, rather I have emerged as his strength,”

What is your view about then Avenfeild corruption case and verdict?

France Players Turn Heroes After Thrilling FIFA World Cup 2018 Victory!

Victorious France were set to return to a heroes’ welcome on Monday after winning the World Cup for the second time with a rollercoaster 4-2 victory over Croatia which set off chaotic celebrations at home.

Teenager Kylian Mbappe applied the coup de grace in Moscow as France, aided by an own goal and the video assistant referee, overcame determined opponents in one of the most compelling finals of the modern era.

Mbappe, just 19, scored France’s sizzling fourth goal and was voted the best young player of a tournament in which he has shown he is a superstar in the making.

The triumph also put Didier Deschamps, who captained the side to victory on home soil in 1998, alongside Mario Zagallo and Franz Beckenbauer as only the third man to win the World Cup as a player and coach.

French President Emmanuel Macron, who cheered every goal in Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium, was drenched by torrential rain during the trophy presentation and attempted to “dab” with the players in the changing room.

On Monday, Macron will welcome the team back to Paris and the players will make a bus parade up the Champs-Elysees avenue, where they are expected to be feted by hundreds of thousands of people.

Fans in France celebrated into the night, honking car horns and flying the tricolour flag while the Eiffel Tower was lit up in blue, white and red. However, youths also looted a Champs-Elysees store and police fired tear gas as celebrations got out of control.

– ‘There is nothing better’ –

Deschamps, who was soaked by champagne by his overjoyed players in a chaotic press conference, said the win was “just as big and just as beautiful” as the 1998 triumph.

“There are two things that matter — one is that these 23 players are now together for life, whatever happens, and also that from now on they will not be the same again, because they are world champions,” he said.

“To be champions of the world as professional footballers, there is nothing better.”

The breathless victory under stormy skies meant his side — a balance of youthful vitality and big-tournament experience — have buried the pain of their defeat in the Euro 2016 final in Paris.

“We did something incredible, we made history and we are going to enjoy it,” said Antoine Griezmann, who scored France’s second goal from the spot.

“We’re going to see our families and we’re going to party. Tomorrow in France will be the same, we’re going to party with the French people.”

For Croatia, a country of just four million people, the loss was bitter but their fans took solace in the best run in the nation’s history, which featured a stunning win against Argentina and a semi-final victory against England.

Croatia playmaker Luka Modric was voted player of the tournament, Belgium’s Thibaut Courtois was named the best goalkeeper and Harry Kane of England won the Golden Boot as top-scorer with six goals.

US President Donald Trump tweeted congratulations to France for their “extraordinary soccer” and also praised Russia’s President Vladimir Putin for his hosting of the tournament, which he described as “one of the best ever”.

Putin said Russia could be “proud” of its organisation of the event, adding that foreign visitors holding World Cup fan ID cards could have visa-free entry for the rest of 2018.

– Six-goal thriller –

France scored first when Mario Mandzukic headed into his own net following a Griezmann free-kick in the 18th minute — the first own goal in World Cup final history.

Ivan Perisic’s venomous strike levelled the scores but then, in a major turning point, referee Nestor Pitana awarded France a hotly debated penalty for a Perisic handball after consulting the video assistant referee (VAR).

As thunder rolled around the stadium, Griezmann held his nerve to stroke his spot-kick into the net as goalkeeper Danijel Subasic went the wrong way.

Croatia were unbowed as they ran the game from midfield, with Modric and Ivan Rakitic pulling the strings as roars of “Croatia” rang out.

But Paul Pogba and then Mbappe both struck from outside the area to make it 4-1, before Mandzukic forced a humiliating mistake from France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to raise faint hopes of a late comeback.

Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic said his side’s luck had run out after the VAR penalty.

“I never comment on referees but in a World Cup final you do not give such a penalty,” said Dalic, whose team had to battle through extra-time in all three of their knockout games before the final.

But he added: “You should never give up, never stop believing. At 4-1 down I was not defeated. Overall, Croatia played a great tournament and showed its strength and quality.”

Disappointed but proud Croatian fans in Zagreb cheered their team to the very end, lighting flares and firecrackers in the capital’s packed main square at the final whistle.

J&J Ordered to Pay $4.69 Billion as Damages in Talc Cancer Case

US pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson was Thursday ordered to pay out $4.69 billion in damages in a lawsuit representing 22 women and their families who alleged a talc sold by the company contained asbestos and caused them to suffer cancer.

It is the latest twist in a matter that has seen several thousand lawsuits filed against J&J.

According to the victims’ lawyer, Mark Lanier, a jury composed of six men and six women in St Louis, Missouri, ruled in favor of the women after a six-week trial and eight hours of deliberation. The damages include $550 million in compensation and over $4.1 billion in punitive damages.

The plaintiffs said using the talc for personal hygiene had caused ovarian cancer.

“For over 40 years, Johnson & Johnson has covered up the evidence of asbestos in their products,” Lanier said in a statement.

“We hope this verdict will get the attention of the J&J board and that it will lead them to better inform the medical community and the public about the connection between asbestos, talc, and ovarian cancer,” he said, calling for talc to be pulled from the market.

J&J said it was “deeply disappointed in the verdict.”

In a statement, it described the trial as “a fundamentally unfair process that allowed plaintiffs to present a group of 22 women, most of whom had no connection to Missouri, in a single case all alleging that they developed ovarian cancer.”

“The result of the verdict, which awarded the exact same amounts to all plaintiffs irrespective of their individual facts, and differences in applicable law, reflects that the evidence in the case was simply overwhelmed by the prejudice of this type of proceeding.”

The company said its talc does not contain asbestos or cause ovarian cancer, and vowed it would “pursue all available appellate remedies.”

Several similar trials have already taken place, with a Los Angeles appeals court last October dismissing a $417 million verdict against J&J, saying the complainant’s arguments were insufficient and vague.
