British men’s magazine FHM is closing. Parent company Bauer Media announced that the publication, perhaps best known for its “100 Sexiest Women in the World” poll, is getting the axe along with fellow men’s mag Zoo.

The company cites men’s changing media habits, notably towards mobile and social networks, for the decision.

FHM published its first issue in 1985.

Bauer Media’s decision also follows the steady decline in print media that saw British music publication NME make the move to distributing free, weekly copies in a bid to increase readership earlier this year.
