British-Pakistani Youngster, Yasser Khattak, CEO of Den (Den Automation) has successfully earned Rs. 130m from an application he invented, from an idea from his school days.

Khattak, during his young GCSE days, had the idea of-of controlling a light switch via Smartphone application and made a model for it too. Thus, he invented Den and pitched the idea to investors, which received a full funding of $ 1.2m.

According to a report, the smart application can also calculate the amount of electricity consumed and inform the user of necessary safety precautions. Considering that the tech industry is to grow in the upcoming months, and the inclusion of such an app on such a watch can make life easy for thousands of people. The application turns off mobile phone charges and other lights automatically when not in use.

According to Khattak’s company, Britain can save up to 1.75 billion Pounds annually if the application is used by the nation to control electronics through a simple Smartphone application. This application is catered to the audience of all ages, especially for those who have difficulty to get up and wake every time a switch needs to be switched off.

The tech sector within Pakistan has also seen a vast grow. The country now has many new startups focusing on introducing smart devices to facilitate people in managing their homes.
