Ban on celebrities in ramadan tv show

The holy month of Ramadan has begun and transmissions on all leading channels have kickstarted their round of public registrations.

In a recent move, the Punjab Assembly has passed a unanimous resolution to ban celebrities from attending and hosting transmissions throughout the month.

The purpose of the resolution is to persuade Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to ban stars and popular entertainment luminaires to feature in Ramadan transmission.
