With the Holy month just days away, Ramadan 2019 office working hours have been announced by the federal government.
A notification was released to officially announce timings of offices that operate 5 days a week and for those who follow a 6-day week schedule.
Offices That Operate 5 Days A Week
Those offices that operate 5 days a week will open at 09:00 AM and close at 03:30 PM (from Monday to Thursday).
For Friday, the work hours will be from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Offices That Operate 6 Days A Week
Those offices that operate 6 days a week will open at 09:00 AM and close at 02:00 PM.
For Friday, the work hours will be from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Office timings for Banks
Banks timings have not been announced yet by State Bank of Pakistan
According to Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD), Ramadan moon is likely to be sighted on Monday evening, May 6, 2019. Consequently, the holy month is expected to begin on May 7.
