On Friday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) media of Pakistan Army told the press that all preparations for the 23rd March parade are in full swing.
“Preparations for 23rd March Parade are in full swing at Shakarparian parade ground Islamabad,” said a statement issued by ISPR. “A special feature of the parade this year will be the participation of Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) China’s Tri-Services and Saudi Special Force’s contingents and Turkish Jannisary Military band (Mehteran)”.
The ISPR said Chief of South African National Defence Force, General Solly Zacharia will also witness the parade with other dignitaries. Pakistani armed forces are expected to display nuclear-capable weapons, tanks, jets, drones and other weapons systems.
