China’s Cheng E6 lunar mission, scheduled for launch in the first half of 2024, will include a Pakistani satellite, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA). This mission aims to increase international cooperation by carrying payloads from various countries, including France, Italy, and the European Space Agency.

The Cheng E6 mission will carry instruments to test for radioactive gas from France, a Negative Ion Detector from the European Space Agency, and Italy’s Valle Brett Radar System. Additionally, Pakistan’s CubeSat satellite will be sent into lunar orbit as part of this mission.

The CNSA’s mission will explore the dark side of the moon, collect surface samples, and return them to Earth. This marks the first time that samples from the dark side of the moon will be brought back to Earth. The mission’s primary objective is to gather samples from different lunar regions to gain insights into the moon’s age.
