The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently found itself embroiled in controversy regarding the use of funds from Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) kitty, which is part of Pakistan’s National treasury.
Reports have surfaced suggesting that the PCB, despite claims of financial independence, received a substantial amount from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) kitty in the past.
The sum of Rs. 205 million allocated to the PCB from the PSB’s funds for Olympic sports development was reportedly utilized to reward the cricket team for their Champions Trophy success back in 2017.
This action has raised eyebrows, as PCB has always claimed that it has never taken a single penny from the national exchequer, hence is not answerable to the government.
However, the champions’ prize money was seemingly drawn from the PSB’s budget rather than the cricket board’s coffers, leaving questions about equitable allocation and support for other sports.

There was a time when televisions were huge and bulky and they have transitioned to a more reasonable build. Similarly, Samsung, at CES, unveiled a transparent television. However, not a lot of information has been released with regards to this. That said, we can safely say that we are yet to see how a transparent television works.

This product by Samsung features a picture frame equipped with an impressive sound system and support for Dolby. Yes, you can place pictures inside the frame and you can play custom music that emits sound from the frame itself. It can make for a nice gift for your friends.

Here is another innovative product release by the company, as we look at a new fridge. However, this is no ordinary fridge as it boasts AI functionality, letting the fridge itself keep an eye inside. It can detect more than 30 different kinds of food items kept inside it, and it can give recipe suggestions based on the items that are in the fridge.

Former pace bowler Umar Gul recently shared a vivid account of an unexpected altercation he had with fans, which turned physical at a bustling Lahore restaurant. Speaking on a private channel’s talk show, the revered pacer recounted an incident involving two fans and himself.
Gul recounted the incident involving his cousin’s visit from Peshawar to Lahore. They ventured into a crowded eatery where they were ushered to a table by the waitstaff. While awaiting their meal, two eager fans approached them, seeking Umar Gul’s autograph.
