One of the most loved global fast food chains, McDonald’s, is all set to expand in Pakistan by opening multiple drives-thru restaurants at Shell stations.

As part of its expansion plans, McDonald’s has signed an MOU with Shell Pakistan to open and operate Drive-Thru restaurants at multiple Shell outlets nationwide.

Rising competition from other international/local burger chains have kept McDonald’s active with promotions and expansions in Pakistan. With increasing commercialization in metropolitan areas, expanding into the on-the-go food option is definitely a plus for McDonald’s.

The upcoming drive-thru restaurant wills also help travellers to have access to hygienic food in the remote areas of Pakistan.

Initially beginning its operation fromLahore in 1998, McDonald’s has now expanded to more than 27 restaurants in 8 major cities of Pakistan. (11 in Karachi, 1 in Hyderabad, 10 in Lahore and 1 in Faisalabad, 1 in Kala Shah Kaku, 1 in Sialkot, 1 in Islamabad & 1 in Rawalpindi)
