Keeping the political pressures aside, the Government of Pakistan has assisted 150 exhibitors to present their products in New Delhi to access India’s middle-class market of 600 million people.

LALA’s show started off with the showcase of its collection ‘Empowerment of Women’, on 10th September 2014, which was followed by an exhibition that lasted for four days starting from 11th – 14th September 2014.

LALA collaborated with Samarpan Foundation, which is a non-profit charitable trust for the show. The trust works for the welfare of orphan girls and most of these innocent souls strode the ramp along with the India’s top models to showcase the brand’s signature collection.

The finale was adorned by the presence of Bollywood’s finest director Mahesh Bhatt who shared the stage with Mr. Pervez Lala, CEO of LALA

The collection featured a fusion of modern and traditional patterns and designs in different flairs like crushed lowers, jackets, angrkha, jumpsuit, bolero and sequenced jackets made from extravagant stuff like lawn, cotton, chiffon, jamawar and dobby.

The dresses were mostly in pastels and warm colors like black, gold, blue beige, maroon and white. With the new collection, LALA endeavours to create a distinct new look to Lawn as a versatile fabric that can be utilised for Pret and Luxury Pret.
