John Nash, Nobel-prize winning mathematician, along with his wife Alice Nash died in a car accident on Saturday night in New Jersey.
Here we have another reason to watch the brilliantly scripted and directed, Oscar-winning, A Beautiful Mind all over again.
John Nash, 86, has contributed in the most significant way to the field of mathematics, economics, artificial intelligence, computer technology and a number of other fields through his work on game theory, differential geometry, and other mathematical research.
The Oscar-nominated movie starring Russell Crowe as John Nash and Jennifer Connelly playing his wife, Alice Nash, is based on the 1998 biography which portrays the real life-story of the prodigal, mathematical genius who eventually suffered from schizophrenia.
Crowe, 51, tweeted his condolences to the family in the following words:
Stunned…my heart goes out to John & Alicia & family. An amazing partnership. Beautiful minds, beautiful hearts. https://t.co/XF4V9MBwU4
