The new John Lewis Christmas ad campaign is really sweet telling the story of Monty the Penguin and his friend Sam. Sam, the little kid wants his pet penguin to feel happy and he buys him a girlfriend Penguin as a Christmas gift. The soundtrack is a rendition of “Real Love” by John Lennon, performed by Tom Odell. The advert has been made by Adam & Eve/DDB ad agency. The advert is portraying a very strong story of a young fellow helping Monty (Penguin) find his soul mate, wrapped in a box under a Christmas tree. Operating throughout Great Britain, John Lewis is a chain of upscale department stores. The first John Lewis store was opened in 1864 in Oxford Street, London. The chain is owned by the John Lewis Partnership. #MontyThePenguin
