The latest installment in the popular street-racing feature franchise, The Fast and The Furious, will formally be titled ‘Furious 7’. The live trailer-launch is being scheduled to take place on November 1, 2014 on the Fast and Furious Facebook page, which is home to more than 51 million fans of the popular movie series.

The movie, which was initially set to release in July this year, was pushed back a year following the tragic demise of Paul Walker, who lost his life in a violent car crash in November, 2013, which prompted the filmmakers to do some lengthy reshoots to accommodate Paul Walker’s loss, considering the significance of his role in the movie. The movie now debuts on April 3, 2015.

The Fast and Furious Facebook page has been releasing teaser trailers in the lead up to the movie’s release in April next year, including a teaser titled ‘The Road to Furious 7’, which is a look back at the six movies that made this Universal Pictures’ highest-grossing franchise, fetching in excess of $2.3billion in worldwide box-office sales.

The trailer launch event will have a live chat session between the fans and several members of the film cast, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham. Fans can ask leave their questions as comments or upload videos with their questions and messages with the #AskFurious7hashtag.

The event will be quite emotional for the cast, as they would share their memories of the late Paul Walker for the first time in public.

And so, with the launch of the official trailer, poster, and a new name, the countdown to ‘Furious 7’ begins!
